Ask Italian in Horsham

I visited ASK around a week ago and initially had a disappointing experience. However, after reaching out, the team went above and beyond to make things right. Our server, Olivia, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Our drinks, starters, and mains arrived promptly and looked fantastic. She truly made us feel welcome, turning our experience around. A big thank you to Rikesh for organising everything—we really appreciate it! We can’t wait to come back.

Listen, folks, we went to this pizza place—absolutely fantastic, okay? The food was really, really good. Some of the best pizza I’ve had, and trust me, I know pizza better than anyone. The service? Incredible. They were so fast, so polite—it was like they knew we were coming. My family loved it, everyone was talking about how great it was. Is it the best pizza in the world? Maybe not, but it’s pretty close. A great place. Tremendous. Highly recommended, believe me!

Always feel welcomed by staff. Waitress Oksana efficient and friendly. Helped with my wine decision. 😊. We had our regular favourite meals of lasagna grande and seabass al for no.

My pasta dish was lukewarm therefore requested that it be warmed in a microwave. The waitress explained that carrying out that process would impair the pasta therefore she reordered a brand new meal. When this arrived it was hot but unfortunately completely tasteless. I think the reason for my poo meal was the large number of customers that were present and ordering meals that overwhelmed the chefs. My wife and I have eaten at Ask Italian previously a number of times which has been a wonderful experience but unfortunately not this time. The best part of the meal was the orange juice that I was drinking of which I had 2 glasses.

Booked a table for Friday evening and loved it. Quite busy so I strongly recommend booking a table. We had a voucher from the ask website that gave us a qr code for a main meal at £1 when dining with another adult eating a main. We ordered 2 chicken lecca lecca . A prima salami misti pizza and a prima pollo roquito pizza. For drinks it was a large peroni and a craft raspberry lemonade. We shared a 3 scoop gelato to finish. A lot for just £50.45. The service was very quick, polite and friendly. The food came out very hot and was presented really well. Can't complain about anything here. Definitely will be returning.

Nice place, lovely people and good food! Our waitress Oksana was very friendly and our lunch was really tasty. My child said that this was the best lasagna ever! I tried something new - vegan pizza with artichokes and it was an enjoyable surprise! And thank you for amazing offers for Blue Light card members.

Ask Italian Horsham was a great choice for a post panto meal with an intergrated family. There was choice for everyone, even though there were some course off the menu, due to being busy. The staff were kind and helpful throughout.

Super disappointing visit to this attractive restaurant yesterday: a teen in our party was brought the wrong order, it was whisked away, but the correct pizza did not appear until the rest of us had finished eating (and we tried to drag out those pizzas, but there are limits to how long it takes to eat one). Not only were there no apologies for the error, our waiter roundly ignored our table throughout, spoke at length to the neighbouring tables (we were on 19), failed to explain web ordering/paying, failed to ask how our meal was (presumably because the answer would have been "partially missing"), failed to offer or bring dessert menus - to the extent that even the teens noticed the lack of service. We skipped ordering coffee and desserts as a result. Frankly we felt unwelcome and ignored and this ruined a much anticipated meal. The delightful waitress that brought our bill almost rescued the experience but ASK is off our menu for the foreseeable - we won't visit this restaurant again.

We have just had the best meal, served by a great team including the manager, restaurant staff and chefs. Everyone made us feel welcome and looked after us....

The people working here are so nice and fun to talk to! The food is to die for and the atmosphere is very clean and is such a vibe!! One hundred precent would come here again and I think u should too and check it out!

I had a takeaway and I can honestly say this was the most amazing food I’ve had in a while and everything was so fresh and fantastic.

Have been coming here on and off for years and it sadly seems to have downhill. The food seems disproportionately expensive without the quality to justify. The service, whilst friendly, seemed rushed and impersonal. The main complaint was the cleanliness of the seating area we were sat in. This is unacceptably poor and needs to be urgently addressed.

We love going to Ask in Horsham, the food is always amazing, the atmosphere is great and the staff are fantastic! Oksana is very often our server and she always has a smile on her face and a suggestion if any of us are stuck choosing between dishes or drinks. My son and I have dietary requirements and these are always carefully catered for with stickers on the dishes so we know we can be sure they are safe for us to eat. It gets very busy so a reservation is often necessary, but we're never disappointed with our visits!

A lovely evening meal, service was great, food was delicious - we had the crumbed chicken and beef rib dishes, then cinnamon swirl and affogato.

Staff were very kind but the food was really bad i ordered spaghetti Bolognese and literally I might as well just went to the supermarket and brought some spaghetti for £2 Thier was hardly any meat in it the staff apologised for this but still not good I don't think I'll be back Kind staff who were doing the best they could but still it's a lot of money just for a plate of spaghetti

We met my wife's cousin and family for high tea/Diner at the Ask in Horsham. I would suggest that a pizza restaurant is in the very casual places to eat given that most consume pasta or posh cheese on toast which are not what you would call high end catering. We had a nice sized table to accommodate the 6 of us. It was good to see that the younger members can still have crayons and colouring sheets to amuse them before and between the arrival of the food. I remember my pasta being nicely cooked with all the pasta submerged in the sauce, there being nothing worse than hard, dried and slightly charred pasta as part of the eating experience, but this was just right. The younger members chose a starter pizza and ice-cream sundae which was just a step too far for one pair of pelican eyes. The staff were attentive considering the busy status of the restaurant and that it was busier than usual for a saturday evening as Horsham had it's fireworks the same evening we ate out. ASK is one of those idea family eating out venues judging by the numbers of families and small parties that were crowding the restaurant. We enjoyed the casual and relaxed atmosphere and the staff did their bit to smooth and speed things along which is important when younger diners are present.

Fantastic dining experience. Clearly the restaurant was very busy and yet the service provided by the charming waitresses was exceptional. Incredibly efficient way of working and I noticed how quickly the table next to us was cleared and cleaned when the previous diners left. The food was delicious and the tiramisu just melted in the mouth. I look forward to returning.

Great experience when dinning at ask Italian in Horsham. The staff were all so polite. I ordered a lasagne which was amazing was served in good time and nice and hot. Lovely clean restaurant! Toilets very clean too. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful lunch with the family today. I had the burrata, tomatoes and olive tapenade pizza which was lovely and my wife had the mascarpone mushroom pasta which was also really nice (though a little too much parsley). Service was excellent, timely and super friendly. The lemon biscoff cheesecake desert was absolutely brilliant. Loved cracking into the white chocolate lemon that sits on top with a macchiato to complete this delightful lunch.

We had a lovely late lunch , food was delicious and always arrives pipping hot. The stuff are friendly and professional, it is always my go to place when friends turn up unexpectedly or when we want to treat ourselves .

We have previously eaten at several Ask Restaurants, including the one in Horsham. The food has always been acceptable and on occasions good. Today I chose a "new" beef dish, essentially slow cooked beef in a sauce with pasta. I only found two pieces of beef and both were long and stringy with no flavour. The sauce was uninspiring. It was the most disappointing meal that I have had for a considerable time.

Very nice evening and the food was superb. We were Served by a Very kind and Helpfull Waitress. Made us feel happy and served us like we were vip’s as she did to others. Her name was Oksana. 10/10…

We are always welcomed so warmly here and usually join with our family to eat here to celebrate our birthdays. The staff do us proud with celebration candles and sung happy birthday for, this time, our 9 year old grand-daughter. All 9 of us enjoyed our food which included some delicious sides thanks to some vouchers. Well done Horsham Ask🙂

All very nice. Lovely food. Service was a little slow but they were quite busy. Special offer of two main courses for price of one coming to an end so to be expected.

I'm not rating this 5 star just because of the food, although the food was lovely I have no complaints. But as a family who do enjoy eating out, it's very rare we both leave a restaurant and mention how fantastic the staff were. The best waiter/waitress we've had in a long long time, they were just so fun and patient with the kids, it literally made the meal. I didn't get their names but I hope you can pass this on to them by our booking :) thank you

The tables seem very close together, especially the one for two people. The spaghetti bolognaise was rather bland and looked quite grey, making it unappealing to look at. Service okay as was the pizza.

Fantastic! Great food, fantastic service that was friendly, approachable and our waitress' interaction with my 5 year old grandaughter was very heart warming. The food portions were generous, ingredients fresh and served on easy to use boards with each diner with pizza or folded garlic bread issued their own pizza cutter. The delivery of food was timed to perfection and at just the right temperature. The menu had numerous and varied options to suit a variety of tastes. I look forward to going back.

We went to ASK for a Friday night family treat after not visiting for a while. We were 2 adults and 3 kids who all had the kids menu and booked at 5:45pm. After ordering drinks and kids meals, the kids starters came with drinks and we ordered our main meals to go with the kids main food. The kids were only 1/4 way through starters and their main arrived so had to move plates all around and was all a bit odd. We ordered 2 stone baked pizzas which were half the width of the plate it was on. (Not that I am greedy but thought looked very small!). There was 1 and a half pieces of salami on the pizza and a few pieces of pepperoni. There was more pepperoni on the kids pizza. It was really disappointing as couldn’t taste anything other than the bland tomato sauce topping. No we did not say anything as the waitress was super nice and she isn’t in charge of the chef being very miserly with the toppings, she had nothing to do with it. We all came away disappointed, rushed out and wondering why we just spent all that money going out?!

It was my Daughters 13th Birthday. She had a wonderful time as did our whole party. Lovely staff and food. We brought our own cake which was brought out to us with the candles lit and the team sang too. Relaxed and warm atmosphere.

Today 6 August at 13:30 we’ve been served by a lady that alone managed everything and the other guy behind the bar looked at his phone and stayed near a window and stared into space as if nothing was going on. Clearly enough seemed that he didn’t care about hospitality. She deserves a medal and for him to be fired.

You’re busy I know, but don’t seat people if you can’t cope and leave them ignored. Had to get up and walk out as really was looking for lunch this side of Christmas

All food was great for kids and adults except the sea-bass. Which tasted Service was very helpful accommodating and very friendly, especially the hostess.

The staff member are so delightful and helpful. The environment is so nice to look around. The food is always good. We love it and they were great with baby’s too ! We will always go back

Haven't been for a while and was really impressed with the service and the food, also very good value, It was nice not to have to mess around with an app the whole time and just enjoy the experience and also have a conversation.

This is a nice restaurant. The staff are all very nice & attentive. The food was very good too. I had the calamari for starters & it was very nice. The seafood linguine was also very nice. Look forward to coming again. Also if you have a disability it does have disability facilities.
