When i ventured upon this very Trendy and Popular Italian Restaurant i was very Impressed by it's Frontage and Inviting Menu near the front doors. I went in and spoke to the Maitrè De, could i have a table for one please. It was no peoblem. I was really looked after by the Food & Beverage Servers. To drink, i decided to have a Pint of Birra Moretti. I sat down at my table and had a Good peruse at the Menu. I chose for my Starter the Calamari and for my Main the Chicken & Chorizzo Carbanara. I just relaxed and Enjoyed my Birra Moretti Beer waiting for my Calamari. There were a few Customers in the Stunning Italian Styled Restaurant. My Starter was brought to my table and served to me. I was very Impressed with my Calamari in Batter with a Garlic dip. This was really Delicious. After i had finished, my Main was brought to me. A rather Generous Bowl of Pasta in a Thick cream sauce with Big Pieces of Chicken and Chorizzo Sausage meat. It looked Incredible. This really Excellent and very Delicious to Savour. I did not have a Sweet, i just had another Beer. My meal was Absolutely the Best Italian i have ever had. The Bill, i thought was very reasonable at only £ 34.50 pounds and a Gratuity for the very Friendly Server. I will be coming back for another meal. I Recommend this Great place in Stamford. We love Ask.... The seafood pasta was delicious, and the kids' menu was a great option for our little ones. Special thanks to our server, the friendly Spanish lady, for excellent service. We'll be back!!!

Excellent service and good food. Very pleased with our recent visit here on Mother’s day. Despite being understandably busy, we were served efficiently by Noemi and everyone was happy with the food.

Last night was simply awful, we were aware it would be busy due to Mothers day but that is still no excuse for the service. Our table didn't have a number or QR code like every other table. One of the cutlery was missing a napkin, felt like we were put at a used table. Other tables were offered jugs of water, we didn't receive this. They were very clearly understaffed, which left guests being ignored despite us trying to flag down servers when the below issues occurred. Drinks took a while to arrive. Ordered a Passion Fruit martini, which arrived with chunks of dehydrated raspberry on top, this wasn't described on the menu. I've never had a PFM arrive with raspberry. Due to it being in liquid, it quickly rehydrated and became a slimy mess on my drink. Asked for it to be replaced. It didn't arrive until we we're halfway through our mains. One of the mains arrived way behind the others at the table, a member of staff said they'd go and get the dish and cheese for the table and simply never returned after telling us she'd spilled the Honey Luganica Sausages over the table. We had to chase down another staff member to get the remaining dish. The Spaghetti al Pomodoro was watery, bland and had hard stems of Basil throughout the dish which were inedible, It was also lukewarm at best in the centre. The Linguine Carbonara was also incredibly bland with very minimal pancetta, and very much tasted like it had been sat under the heat lamp. Ordered the Tiramisus for dessert and it just got worse. The Tiramisus arrived still frozen, my mother thought she'd accidently ordered tiramisus ice cream (which this restaurant doesn't serve). We will not be back whatso ever, terrible experience. It was incredibly overpriced for the quality and experience. I mainly feel sorry for taking my Mum here on Mothers Day.

We went to Ask Italian Stamford to celebrate Mother's day and my daughter'sbirthday.We had a fantastic time, food was delicious and staff were lovely and helpful. Noemi, was so nice, making sure we were OK at all times. Her suggestions regarding food and deserts were fantastic. We will definitely be back.

I love this Italian restaurant in Stamford. We have been a few times with the Kids and they like everything on the menu. It's a pleassure to be attended by Noemi as we are Spanish speakers and she is so kind with us everytime we go.

Staff Lovely fitted us in at the last minute and looked after us very well. Emma in particular was very helpful despite being very busy.

Amazing food in Ask Italian. Lovely atmosphere to go with family and kids. My kids love their food. I recommend King prawns Tagliatelle which was delicious. Noemi was serving us that day, excellent service. Will come back soon.

A large group of children, teens and adults had the pleasure of eating at Ask on a busy Saturday evening (15/3/25). The atmosphere was welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staffing team ( in particular Wilson) and believe me, we were a difficult bunch! Everyone found the food to be delicious and every plate was completely cleared! I had the calamari, then the king prawn and crayfish tagliatelle with a dash of chilli, which was divine! I just wanted to say that I have not received such excellent service and food in Stamford, for a long time and it really stood out. Thank you again to Wilson and the gang! We will definitely be back soon.

We recently had a lovely meal at Ask Italian to celebrate my birthday, and it was a really enjoyable experience. We started with delicious appetizers—'Mushrooms Al Forno' and an excellent cheese fondue that was simply divine. For the mains, I was tempted by the new pizza 'Pesto Giardino', which turned out to be a fantastic choice (though I had originally planned to order the mushroom risotto I’ve had before, which is also exquisite!). We also had the pizza 'Pollo e Roquito', which was full of flavour and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the complimentary mini dessert as a birthday treat rounded off the meal perfectly. We highly recommend Ask Italian for a wonderful dining experience all around!

We took our little girls (two under two) out for dinner for the first time to Ask. Emma really accommodated us, making sure food was given to us really quickly and our girls were happy and had everything they needed. We had the option to have pasta with the sauce on the side which was perfect for a fussy toddler. All of this meant we could really enjoy our first family meal out.

Wilson was exceptional. He made my daughter and I feel very welcome. He honoured a deal I'd seen online that had expired. He was very friendly and attentive. He made a fuss of my daughter and loved that she loves Parmesan! So much so he made sure she knew she could ask for more, at any time, which she did! We'll definitely be back. Thank you to Wilson for making our trip to Ask so enjoyable 🥰

We had a delivery tonight . The two pizzas were barely loaded with toppings. Literally empty, not even enoigh sauce. The brisket loaded fries was just some cheap beef, flavour completely covered by a watery tomato sauce. Very very poor. The butterfly oven baked prawns were delicious

Legit don't waste your money prezzo prices food quality of spoons very bland food zero flavour pasta you could still taste the water sauce tasted of nothing and meat barely anything ther avoid!!!! Also when I said the food was bland just got a dirty look from emma and gave us the bill no discount or anything wont be returning bad service awful food and way too expensive for what you get may aswell go to prezzo

For proper Italian deserts you have to improve your menu. Good but far away from best. And it costs. Anyway the service was excellent

Wow so angry been there 3 days in row after opening a bar restaurant in stamford. So confused because I went on my own. I was turned away at 6pm you had 5 tables in girl 5 ft 6 spoke to me disgusting 🫣 I will tell people I know how un friendly your company is. You should be ashamed with your booking only policy it's stamford know your market.

We had a lovely gentleman serve us called Wilson. Absolutely amazing service and so helpful and kind! Lovely food and would definitely recommend.

Delicious new recipes. Highly recommend the slow cooked beef pappardelle and the chocolate falls was heavenly. The Italian salad was lovely too Wonderful service from Wilson.

Popped in this Friday for a light lunch, greeted and served by a fabulous lady called Emma who offered the right balance of professionalism and a warm personality without being over the top. Which is perfect for us-Thank you. Food arrived timely and was delicious. We enjoyed the linguine carbonara, meat canzolne, olives & garlic bread. Excellent Cocktails on offer and reasonably priced too. Price & value of our food was excellent and due to this experience today we will pop back again soon. Went there today 28th of December and just wanted a hot drink each and was told there are no tables available to have a drink even though there was tables empty , we wasn't going to be there for long. Won't be going back ever,so the London Inn next door got our custom and always will from now on, polite staff and a table to sit at for a drink, no you can't sit down because your not eating .

Despite the fact that it wasnt that busy, service was slow,as usual as I find my veggie calzone was rubbish, dry, and tasteless, the serving staff was nice, thats about it, and the wine was cheap and nasty

Emma and Wilson served us on a Friday lunchtime. The gluten free pizza base was the best I've had. Our nephew was really well looked after; the children's menu is perfect and the staff were so friendly. An issue we had with one of the pizzas was sorted out with no fuss and we were really grateful, thank you.

Just been to the restaurant for lunch in a party of four. We were very well looked after by Wilson we had the new menu today which we thought was great. The food was piping hot and very Tasty. We will certainly be visiting again soon.

We had a great meal in ASK at Stamford. Wilson our waiter was great- he allowed us time but was there and attentive when we needed him. We were a group having a reunion and so appreciated being able to chat and relax. The menu gave us great choice and the food delicious!

This branch of Ask has less ambiance and atmosphere than some and you may prefer to have lunch there rather than dinner. The food is typically 'chain restaurant' Italian, but is nevertheless enjoyable and reasonably priced. Service, on the afternoon we dined, was quite quick and friendly but there wasn't a lot of customer interaction. Value overall is high, although £4.50 for a small bottle of zero-alcohol beer is taking the mickey in my opinion.
