Another excellent meal at this ask branch. Food was tasty as always and the service was great too. Think our server was Wilson according to the bill and they were so cheery and helpful

Thank you for a lovely evening. Ask Stamford did not disappoint. Karolina was pleasant, professional and friendly, made us feel welcome, she is an asset to Ask Stamford. The best things about the evening were - we did not feel rushed. - space in restaurant. - food was cooked to perfection. - pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for making a perfect evening for me and my 3 men (husband and 2 sons)

Went there today 28th of December and just wanted a hot drink each and was told there are no tables available to have a drink even though there was tables empty , we wasn't going to be there for long. Won't be going back ever,so the London Inn next door got our custom and always will from now on, polite staff and a table to sit at for a drink, no you can't sit down because your not eating .

Great night for daughter's birthday. Vicky was fab and really looked after us.

We ordered a large order of takeaway pizzas today for our Christmas 'do'. They were all ready and packed on time. What fabulous service and food. We're back for more in January to help get us through the longest month! Thank you so much! 😃🍕

Amazing food and definitely a nice Italian restaurant to visit, it is worth of money if visit weekday with the taste card subscription. (2 for 1 offer ) available for any starter and main course , but only available weekday . It not valid for Bank holiday and throughout December .

Food good service very slow. Waited ages to be served then when given bill waited ages for them to come and get us to pay

Came here for a date, the food was lovely and the staff as well. We were served mainly by Emma, who was very helpful with the allergens of the table as well as being friendly.

I was served by Karolina this afternoon. The service was exceptional, as always. With a smile is her standard, a few wits, giggles and a lovely time is what makes Karolina a great asset in Hospitality. Always makes the experience more lively, as gives a more authentic approach. Of course, she is also great at reading the room and can provide a less full on approach too. I've always loved coming to Ask Italian for her hospitality and always love to dine on one of her shifts. Thank you for always looking after me Karolina! You're a star. A true connoisseur to outstanding service.

The team at stamford ask italian, I think some of their names were karolina, anna and tommy were excellent with their service and really made the experience enjoyable, props to the chefs in the kitchen as well as the food came out a lot faster than most places i’ve been to and the quality was incredible, will be back soon.

Emma and Wilson served us on a Friday lunchtime. The gluten free pizza base was the best I've had. Our nephew was really well looked after; the children's menu is perfect and the staff were so friendly. An issue we had with one of the pizzas was sorted out with no fuss and we were really grateful, thank you.

Just been to the restaurant for lunch in a party of four. We were very well looked after by Wilson we had the new menu today which we thought was great. The food was piping hot and very Tasty. We will certainly be visiting again soon.

We had a great meal in ASK at Stamford. Wilson our waiter was great- he allowed us time but was there and attentive when we needed him. We were a group having a reunion and so appreciated being able to chat and relax. The menu gave us great choice and the food delicious!

This branch of Ask has less ambiance and atmosphere than some and you may prefer to have lunch there rather than dinner. The food is typically 'chain restaurant' Italian, but is nevertheless enjoyable and reasonably priced. Service, on the afternoon we dined, was quite quick and friendly but there wasn't a lot of customer interaction. Value overall is high, although £4.50 for a small bottle of zero-alcohol beer is taking the mickey in my opinion.

Despite the restaurant being packed, she maintained a calm demeanor, making us feel like we were her only table. Her passion for the restaurant’s offerings was evident, and she effortlessly created an inviting atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. In a world where excellent service can sometimes be hard to come by, Anna exemplified what it means to provide outstanding hospitality. We left feeling not only satisfied with our meals but also grateful for the wonderful service. We'll certainly be returning to Stamford—and hoping to be served by her again. Highly recommend!

My friend and I had a lovely relaxed lunchtime meal here mid week. I had the prawn and crayfish frilly tagliatelle which was superb - very flavoursome Highly recommended

Great food, friendly helpful staff

My sister went a couple weeks ago (mid week) and had a nice meal so suggested we went instead of our usual Pizza Express. Very noisy but not in a good atmosphere way. Very slow service and inattentive. One hour from seating to getting anything to eat. Warm - almost cold - pizzas and my one of the pasta dishes. Supermarket quality food.

Good food, cooked to order, friendly staff and quick service, although a bit of a wait for food to be delivered to the table as it was freshly cooked to order. For early on a Friday evenng, it was remarkably busy, but they were able to accomodate us as walk ins. Overall, a very pleasent experience and much better than you might expect from a restaurant chain.

Came here on Monday evening with my daughter as last minute meal. Our server, blond I hope not an insult but I think she was polish with short curly blond hair. She made our night, my daughter was tired, and grumpy. She made her happy and brought her out of her shell. Food good,but service amazing. This lady is a credit to tour business x

I came for a meal on Monday, was busy but our server karolina took extra care of us , food was amazing and the extra lovely service from karolina which was energetic and soo helpful made the experience soo much more enjoyable. Definitely will be back. Xx

Lovely midweek night out with our young granddaughter. Harry our server was great very sweet and considerate with our shy little guest. The cloudy lemonade was a great idea and all three of us enjoyed it. Food was lovely and the beers were chilled 💕 what else do you need ☺️

Always pleasant & friendly & have never had a bad meal, always tasty

Our waitress (shoulder length blonde hair with accent) was really great to us and our toddler. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is the chicken in the main I had was tough (pollo Milanese, it was with spinach, peas and chips) so only ate half and there wasn't any adult brownie in stock for pudding.

Food lovely, service a little slow but could have been because we were eating early and crossover time for staff or something but we had a theatre booking so no time for dessert . Pleasant,friendly waitress.

First time visiting Ask Italian and definately it is not going to be the last. Me and my partner went to the one in Stamford and honestly everything was absolutely fantastic. Carolina was a fantastic hostess welcomed us with a smile and gave us an aperitif. Our waiter Michal was fabulous. Always polite, on the point and made us feel very comfortable. He was making sure to check on us every so often and did not hesitate to suggest ideas when I asked him about alternatives. All the food was one better than the other. We 100% coming back to the restaurant. Thank you so much for the incredible experience!!!

I went to ASK Stamford on Sunday lunch time & had such a positive experience. The food was really delicious and I love the fact that you can have a mini dessert with coffee. The restaurant has a lovely bright airy feel to it. The service from Harry was a particular highlight as he went out of his way to make us feel welcome, check that we were comfortable with our table position & not in the sun too much, helped us to realise that we could use our club card vouchers & sorted that out for us. The whole experience was great & we will definitely be back.

Really nice atmosphere, all staff was welcoming and helpful , Food and service was 10 out of 10 . Our waiter Harry was really professional and nice . I recommend the chocolate etna for desert was a rainbow of taste !

We popped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and were welcomed by Harry. He was our server for our time whilst we were there and he couldn’t be more attentive and thoughtful. Such a kind lad. We were very impressed! Will definitely visit again soon!

Not that I am furious about anything. Nice service really, clean and inviting. But the dish I had was really unappetising, pasta with crayfish and prawns -not that I am finicky, but was very disappointing. Not sure if the sea food was fresh really, and the pasta itself as if overcooked. The sauce tasteless. Spent well over a hundred pounds, and left with a feeling that I would not eat that dish again for all the tea in China. Wish I had read the reviews before stepping in. They are usually a good guide and this time as well I think the overall rating of 3.6 describes my experience well and truly. Not what ASK used to be 10 years ago. I loved it then.

The food was lovely but sadly the service was quite slow. They were nice enough but it took a while to take the order and the courses took a while to come out. Very clean and tidy.

I took my wife and granddaughter for lunch.The staff went above and beyond. I'm a full-time wheelchair user, and they made me feel at home.They treated me a a person, not a thing on wheels. Wilson made us all very welcome. The food was amazing. The toilets were clean. We will most certainly be back!!
