I ordered Nasi Goreng. The food was tasty and the portion size was good. Affordable price too.

Delicious nasi lemak - fluffy coconut rice, sambal, cucumber, peanuts and delicious crispy fried chicken. There is a large selection of yummy Asian street-style meals available including Thai curries, mee goreng and pad Thai. The stall is very popular and serves patrons of Canon park shopping centre many of whom are Warwick uni students. Be aware that it is cash only.

food truck located near warwick university and cannon park shopping centre (tesco superstore). first time i tried the nasti lemak (coconut rice, fried chicken, hard boiled egg, peanuts, sambal spicy paste) and my dad tried the nasi goreng kampung (fried rice with chicken). nasi goreng could be more rich in coconut flavour and i expected the fried chicken to be chicken thigh/drumstick like it would authentically be in malaysia/singapore but instead it was chicken breast. perhaps more suited to the western palate. nasi goreng kampung did not have the flavour i was expecting (charred and smokey from cooking over a wok) and the chicken was just sliced chicken breast so not extremely authentic but a decent fried rice in itself. second time we tried oyster sauce chicken with rice and mee goreng (fried noodles) with chicken. my dad enjoyed his mee goreng and he loves his noodles. my oyster sauce chicken was decent. not too much flavour apart from the oyster sauce and more veggies than chicken. rice was perfectly cooked with no grains stuck together. TLDR: decent asian food for a decent price. recommend getting the thai food. sambal is spicy! good for busy international students when you miss home. -an asian

Travelling up from London looking for something for dinner luckily found this Asian street food place, the Nasi Lemak is excellent; I've lived in KL so know what good Malaysian food should taste like and this is it, the Nasi Goreng is also excellent with the deep fried tofu, the fried chicken is delicious, they also have 100Plus on sale which is my favourite soft drink from Malaysia. The prices are very very reasonable and staff were really friendly, can't wait to come here again.

The Nasi Lemak is the best and their deep fried tofu is crispy although a bit oily. Other dishes are also spot on.

It's my favorite takeaway place as I never get disappointed with the taste and the portions. The food is fabulously flavorsome and authentic too. I strongly recommend Nasi Lemak and Chicken Rendang. Note : 1. The latest inclusion in the menu is the thai Authentic tea , another must have for the summers. 2. Halal food

I love Rendang and Kua-kling very much. It’s so authentic. Lily is so great and skillful. I would recommend this shop to everyone who fancy Asian food.

Love the curry here. My go-to food truck whenever I crave something spicy. The portion size is just perfectly enough for me with lots of vegetables and coconut milk. They offer takeaway only but you can take the food at wooden benches behind the truck

I used to work near there now living in Scotland I still miss here as really nice food with reasonable price. only minor thing is opening time is 12pm-5pm only, so hard to go there during working hours. anyway I am still missing here yummy :D

Love the food here and the atmosphere. It's a regular in our household. Even my toddler who's under 2 yo loves it. We prefer having Asian food here rather than in restaurants.

Ordered a chicken rendang for lunch today, description sounded delicious. In fact it was a small portion of chicken in a chilli paste, no sauce at all. I had 2 mouthfuls and can still taste the awful after taste and burn. Truly the worst and most overpriced food I have had.

Take away, Pad Oyster Sauce (chicken, halal). Freshly made with vegetables and chicken. Really good taste. But the quantity wasn't enough.

One of the few places near the university campus that has Asian vegetarian food , that actually tastes good. I tried the fried rice and the quantity and quality was great. They could do with more staff because you'll have to wait more during peak lunch hours. But definitely a place to try out if you're looking to grab something to eat quick.

Ordered Pad Thai on Friday 25 March 2022. The Pad Thai was drowning in sickly sweet sauce 🤮 and MSG (Monosodium glutamate — an artificial flavour enhancer). The worst Pad Thai I’ve ever tasted 👎👎

I love this food truck! The foods are amazing. They serve Malaysian food. So far I enjoyed their Nasi Lemak the most, and their chicken rendang is also fabulous. The owners are really friendly and its great to be able to communicate in Bahasa Melayu while in the United Kingdom.

📍Asian Street Foods 1) Chicken Chow Mein + Side (Malaysian Fried Chicken) - £6 Verdict: A variety of Asian street food available here for palates of all sort, which brings back a taste of nostalgia for fellow Asians residing in the UK. It is slightly pricey for a food truck, however I’m glad that the taste was spot on!! The egg noodles were qq and springy, fried with savoury oyster + soy sauce and a medley of mixed vegetables. I appreciate their generosity with their vegetable servings, as well as the fact that the noodles weren’t too oily👌🏻 Malaysian Fried Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside - tender pieces of chicken breast fried to perfection 🐥 There are a few tables located outside Cannon Park Shopping Centre for shoppers to rest and eat. Thankfully today’s weather was a chilly breeze, making it the perfect day to slurp hot noods in the outdoor 🥢🥡

Had the chicken massaman curry and it was absolutely delicious. Would recommend and will definitely get again!

Great newly opened place, definitely old recommend. Nice chicken at very low student friendly prices. Their spices are top notch and I see no reason why you shouldn’t try foods there.

Yummy HALAL Malaysian and Thai food in Cannon Park Tesco area. Got nasi lemak, rendang, Thai green curry, Chinese curry and more. A few minutes walk from Warwick uni. A must try!
