We time our arrival for after 2pm as there is nothing better than an afternoon deal. Ordered our usual fish and chips and it was served up quite quickly. Nice and crunchy batter and chips hot. Well worth the price of <£9 pp, including a pint of lager No complaints about facilities on this occasion.

The service is terrible, I ordered a pint of wobbly bob to my table and they took 9 minutes to serve it. And the shift manager just plonked it on my table without saying nothing. The food was tepid and bland! Do nut bother 2 out of 10

A long weekend away ended with breakfast in The Ash Tree. Pleasantly surprised with the two traditional breakfasts that were dished up. Hot and well cooked, we tucked in hungrily. A coffee or two washed down the tasty feast and we made our way back to the midlands fed and watered. It's a Wetherspoons and as such we knew what we'd be getting. Enjoyed the morning visit.

This order was a disaster the whole order was stale and not worth even delivering because it was all absolutely disgusting and had totally ruined my belief of this restaurant and

I ordered x2 cavery cake bundle for me and my partner and only received one item. I called up and spoke to Ste and explained my situation he said to call just eat as there nothing they can do from there side apprently. Tried calling just eat it doesn’t let you speak to member of staff there so I have to request refund on here which really I wanted the food as I paid for 2. I called them back up explained I can’t speak to no1 on phone and asked could I drive up myself and get it but I couldn’t

Carvery was okay, roast potatoes were hard and not fluffy inside, the rest seemed alright. Cake was amazing.

my only issue is that they miss items of the order like Yorkshire pudding some times pigs in blankets and many times only half a pot of gravey the food is great just wish they would get it right

wouldn't recommend came cold lumpy mash to many potatoes veg just thrown in and not enough gravy very dry wont be getting one again very poor

Carrots were not edible at all they were rock hard and yet again asked for no parsnips to find 3 on our carvery .., wasn’t the best at all … its hit and miss two good meals and one bad !

Terrible giant eclair! They wouldn’t get away with giving that to someone in the restaurant! Tiny amount of frosting on top

I came in toda with my daughter, second time visiting a weather spoons and prob won’t go the this one again, the food was ok, but tables wasn’t cleaned, we had to clean then there was more tables around us that wasn’t clean and the same outside, I work in hospitality myself so was shocked to see how many tables were untidy and staff not cleaning them very off putting, if I didn’t r have others plans would have gone somewhere else

Carvery was good as usual, only small issue was having ordered the mixed grill and ordering the steak medium-rare it came out completely raw. The staff were more than happy to rectify however it then came back out well done. Not the end of the world and doesn’t put us off coming back. Even with the steak being disappointing, the mixed grill is still good value for money. Plenty of food choices and so many different cakes/desserts to choose from

Really disappointing this place recently, I went today ordered a hunters chicken bap and a cheese and chutney bap 2 x soup of the day which was supposed to be tomato and red pepper, 2 x coleslaw To be fair my hunters chicken bap wasn't bad But my partners cheese and chutney one was a huge let down mainly Just a chutney bap with a little grated cheese The soup was shocking, looked like dish water liquid and was certainly not tomato soup. I've attached pictures off our experience

I had My birthday meal at ashtree farm on the 18 06 at 7pm Emma the manager who seated us looked after us from apart to finish nothing was to much for her always smiling and making sure we was OK big shout out to her thank u Emma

As a carvery, this one has declined over the past year or more. Hadn't been for while and went midweek but the standard isn't there. The veg and potatoes looked tired and old I guess if not so busy have been there for while. The veg choice was limited especially when compared to other carveries. Unfortunately not good enough to make you want to return, think Toby still retain top spot in this field

Just nipped in for dessert 🍨 on Sunday evening. Lee brought our desserts to the the table. What an amazing guy he was. Wanted a scoop of ice cream with my sticky toffee pudding, nothing was too much trouble for him. Went above and beyond, thanks Lee.

I have just had the best ever bacon n egg muffin, so so tasty, loads of bacon, dippy egg, plus 2 hash browns cooked by Emmanuel, absolutely to die for, n refillable brews all for £4.29. Absolute bargain.

Great service from Rhiannon, lovely greeting on arrival. She was very accommodating and so friendly we felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. She popped over to make sure everything was ok with our meal, mum had a slight issue with the pie but Rhiannon solved this immediately and didn’t take no for an answer. Despite our reassurance that it wasn’t that big of issue she was great and was eager to help. Cannot fault her enough and will definitely be back again.

First time at Ash Tree Farm and it won't be my last. Lovely, friendly staff, beautiful home cooked food and everything clean and tidy. Staff can't do enough for you. I'm vegan and had a few options to choose from and everything I had was delicious. Second visit today (9th June 2024) and just as impressed as the first time I came. Chef personally came to the table to check special requirements and all staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

We was a large booking of 12 to celebrate my sons birthday and was greated with a warm welcome by Danielle and Jasmine. The ladies was very bubbly, polite and helpful, went above and beyond to make sure our visit was the best. The food was amazing as always, this is our favourite family place to gather.

I ordered this meal again as the first time I ordered it was amazing. It arrived hot and the food was high quality. I gave 5 stars. This time the meal arrived cold. It only had 2 pieces of meat I ordered 3. I paid for an extra Yorkshire pudding and only got 1. Veg mainly potatoes. Not happy.

It's not great, unless you like piling up food on a plate. Sadly, alternative options in Ashton are very limited.

Good carvery, main menu doesn’t disappoint, the cake is insanely good. You can book a table in an adults only section if you want some peace away from children. Prices are bang on. Have come for years and will continue to do so

The service was ok, just wish more people were on the till and the food was nice although the mash for the carvery tastes horrendous and ruins the whole meal, I didn’t want to complain as it is optional but I like the way the mash used to taste. Also, you should make sure that there are napkins and utensils on every table as ours didn’t have forks or napkins.

The food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. At, first glance it seemed like any other breakfast restaurant but the staff are kind and Rhiannon the assistant manger, who brought our drinks was friendly and respectful.
