ASDA Cafe in Conwy

Absolute joke of a place, the lat time we came, about a month ago, it was so poor, had hardly anything at 12pm. Coffee was horrible , managed to get scampi which was ok, but decided no to come again. Decided to have something today at 1pm there was no food being cooked, no hot drinks as machine of, and older staff just looks at you like yea what ! Never again

Popped in at 15.00 for a coffee after doing some shopping, Was greated by a grumpy member of staff who was complaining to another member of staff because a customer had ordered food. Ordered a tea and a coffee and had them plonked on the counter in dirty cups. Won't be visiting again total shame as the pizzas here used to be fantastic.

Still waiting for fish n chips 40minutes later.😡😡😡😡. Have asked where our food is...no explanation. People who came in after us have been served same food before us. Not recommended at all!

Best date ever! Pizza was amazing and lady chef was so nice and happy. Also young lad behind counter was very kind to an old gent and took his order to the table for him.

Usually come here and do my shopping at the same time but think I'll give it a miss from now on. It's not just the last time I've come, it is every time . Customer service is always shocking, it's like they don't want you to dine here. Understandable as it's usually busy but a smile goes a long way. The back handed comments don't help either, first it was 'do you have children because we've had people lie about the deal ( I pointed to my 2 children). Second, oh we're short on cutlery as everyone steals them, thirdly it was , I'll have to switch on the machine because people steal free drinks so we leave it off... Jesus. Final straw is that we come for the pizza deal. Unless you're there at the start you won't get it, they serve about 8 people and then that's it. Last 4 times I've been told it's sold out and bear in mind I was there 20 mins after they opened. This last time however I was told there was a 1 hour wait so I declined and got something else. 5 minutes later they put 3 pizzas on display....

Place was filthy, cutlery hasn't been cleaned, cups were filthy with lip marks on the sides just absolutely abysmal, seen homeless people with better hygiene

Slowest place ever to get food wether it be breakfast or dinner

Well I disagree ,with reviews on here ,wife and I took our 3 granddaughters here today for breakfast ,ladies very helpful ,breakfast hot and nice ,and great value ,thanks

Shambolic. Never before have I waited so long for a meal. The staff were rude and unhelpful, not to mention the stoned waiter, and there was clearly nobody running things properly. Everyone was running around like headless chickens trying to decide what to do. The quality of the food was also horrendous. I am 100% never going back there.

Wait half hour for service, ok it’s busy. Ordered breakfast sat out on counter for god knows how long. Rubber fried eggs tepid. Wonder how long ago was cooked. Think I will stick with kinmel bay in future. Only eaten it because so hungry. Don’t go when busy

Visited lots of times & have always had some lovely breakfasts.. but today was very different!!! We didn't have to queue & was acknowledged by a gentleman behind the counter asking "if we like well done bacon" which he then took out of the oven & placed in the hot plate area! We then asked if the kids meal eat for £1 was available now & he said yes you can, what are you having. We wanted two full breakfasts & the kids breakfast.. he said the £6 one includes tea/coffee & toast, so said yes ok. When our breakfasts were being brought over they were balanced on one another, some items (sausage & tomato) were dropped on the floor & the toast plate was sitting in the beans. The kids meal was missing the egg & the toast should have been white & brown bread but was all white toast! I went & complained to the customer service desk, who called a manager to see me. I explained our experience to her & she said that the gentleman in the cafe was the new manager who started on Monday She said that she would pass on my complaint but who knows where that will end up! Whilst waiting for my family to finish their meals, I took photos of the surroundings which were just above our seating area! Such a shame, as the usual ladies in the cafe (none of who were there today) are lovely, know exactly what they are doing & always serve good food!

Food and drink was ok but customer service shocking, didn’t get served as it took 2 members of staff to have a discussion with another customer then when I did there was a back handed comment about not usually being able to swap breakfast items. Then didn’t get told I had to get my coffee rather than table service, even when they brought the food out, so another customer came over and asked if I was waiting for a coffee and told me it was on the side and the woman told him not to take it to me as I should collect it, but would’ve been nice to be informed of that either at the till or when the food was brought to the table. Overall customer service was terrible, unfriendly and rude for absolutely no reason. Menu also limited, wish I went to Morrisons cafe instead 👍
