The store itself was fine and the staff were very helpful. However, the ladies toilet was absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper everywhere, and the cubicles were filthy, the entire toilet was dreadfully smelly with dirty sinks. These toilets are clearly not checked regularly for cleanliness, which is absolutely unacceptable in a modern superstore! I strongly recommend that the ladies toilets are checked and cleaned on a regular basis, as what I experienced today was totally appalling and unacceptable. Poor management. I will certainly not be shopping there again. Yuk!!!!! 🤢 😷

I generally have always been a fan of Asda but this one in Alloa has a terrible atmosphere and rude staff. Some of the shelves quite bare too. Must be the management

Chaos at check out today. No manned checkouts only self service. Took ages to put a small shop through (only normally use self service for a few items) Queue building up so felt rushed and realised afterwards I didn't scan app . Went to customer services with receipt but she said too late to scan app. Disappointed we might not shop in asda so much in future as husband hates self service and struggles with them.

Never gives a receipt at the pay at the pump. Takes forever to get someone to reprint one. You have an obligation to provide a receipt.

after shopping in the store, I went out into the yard where it was raining a lot, I decided to wait for my bus on a bench located near Asda, it was under a roof, I sat there many times and so did ordinary people, there are places for smoking, so the staff of the store is also located there, but this time when I just sat down, a woman who works in the store came out, kicked me out, saying that these places are only for staff breaks, I was shocked, I asked again, but she insisted that I get up quickly and leave, it had a great impact on my attitude to Asda, now I only choose Tesco. thank you

No sure what has happend in this store usually has everything but past month it has had nothing never have the noodles I buy or the cheese and the booze shelves are empty

Twice recently I have had cause to complain about the lack of manned checkouts. When busy,AM one check-out is on sometimes!PM when quiet, sometimes 3 are on. Lidl and Aldis adapt to busyness. Asda do not!!Poor management!!

Popped in for a couple of things, and omg this store is a shambles!! Staff fannying about whilst boxes are littering the aisles, trolleys everywhere outside, shelves messy, plenty to do and some slackers leaving or to the few hard workers. Sort it out management!

I had a fault with a loaner powered wheelchair I had while mine was being repaired, the controller fell off as I was entering the self checkout area. The staff all worked together to find a solution and were able to temporarily repair it with tape. Thanks to their quick thinking I was able to finish buying lunch and catch my train on time to get to my blood cancer appointment at the hospital. It was at about 1pm on Friday the 6th of October 2023. :)

Just had something to eat at the cafe. Lovely friendly staff. I have Autism and the staff were great. I think they deserve a pay rise. 😊

Really went downhill in recent years and service is woeful.

Click and collect I was serve by the Women which was very Rude and nasty person she say my order was not there and tell to go away is not the way to work and help costumer. Then I have to cancel the order. 03.08.2023 Time 10.15am

I was in the store today with my 3 year old granddaughter and whilst I was looking at the clothes in George my granddaughter was looking at the model on display she touched the hand and it fell off,as I picked it up a George staff member appeared and started getting on at the wee one for touching it. My . granddaughter was so scared that this stranger was getting on at her that she was sobbing . I then went and said that I wasn't happy with her for speaking to her the way she did she could clearly see how upset she had made her and still no apology from her. Another customer even came over to us to ask if she was ok. This was about 2oclock today I didn't get the woman's name but she was middle aged short grey hair and wearing a black George uniform. I do appreciate that she should not have been touching it but she's a small child and I definite don't think that gives anyone the right to speak to a child in that way

Large Asda store. You get everything what you need.

Plenty of space to move about, nice and clean and bright, prices were OK but some things can be bought cheaper elsewhere, lady on the till was so nice and helpful

My Mum does our family weekly shop in Asda, she would usually buy the same items every week but she couldn’t find what she was looking for so asked an employee for some assistance on a few items. This employee went above and beyond to find what my Mum was looking for, came back with every item. My mum said the employee that helped her what called Phoebe. A food shop for a family of 5 is hard work and Phoebe made it that bit easier.

I always shop in Asda and feel it’s a very friendly shop. But on one occasion my GF and I went in looking for boxes for our house move. Up steps an employee who we later found out is called Phoebe and she says she’ll put boxes a side so we can pick them up in the morning. I go back in the morning to about 20 boxes put a side for us. Asda needs to give Phoebe a raise.

Really shocked by how rude the staff in this store are. I work in retail myself and could never speak to a stranger with such a rude manner. I had ordered stuff for my kuds Xmas online and George sent the wrong sizes . No apologies from any staff and acted like I was the burden returning stuff. As for the lady that stands at self check out. She must ve the only person on this planet to have found a job that you get paid to stand and do absolutely NOTHING and still she's not happy about. A smile goes a long way alloa. I'd maybe try it.

Good value clothing etc, just a shame Ajay thought throwing them at us was ok! In the past the lovely checkout staff took the time to fold the items.

Staff are always friendly in here prices are alright only problem is not everything is always in stock but it's decent for shopping

Went in to store and wanted to buy a case of 4 ‘monster’ energy drinks. At the young age of 28, I’ve barely been ID’d for alcohol never mind energy drinks. With tattoo’d arms and a beard, surely common sense should prevail and realise I’m over the age of 16. Absolute shambles of a service.

Went in today to buy a gluten free birthday cake for someone. First one on shelf was dated 30/06/22 so not too bad but still not good and out of date. So I pulled out another one. Another June date but the 14/06/22. Found all five cakes on the shelf were out of date the worst being may considering its 02/07/22. Really not good. Shows they are not doing stock checks and stock rotation. The member of staff was apologetic which I appreciated but they had no more of the Cake in date cos shelf was filled with out of date. Was disappointed.

Good selection of stock,only fault was the pizza counter, only one person serving,had to wait 30mins a a pizza,getting made, disabled toilet stinking, 1/10,

I feel the quality has dropped in recent years. But worth a visit all the same

Asda delivery decided to deliver to another address. Contacted them regarding this and they have chosen to ignore this. I have been using this service for over 2 years and this is the first time it has happened. Be aware of you are getting anything delivered

Of all the supermarkets in Alloa, without a doubt the worst, The place is not very well lit, l found the staff NOT very helpful, The kiosk for tobacco the people working they're were very ametureish.

Went today to asda I was run out of electricity so I had valid vochers to get some money and electricity, unfortunately the customer service was absolutely rubbish ,the staff has asked me for identification which I have provided and then two stuff were gossiping between each other about me which I didn't hear what did they say about me ,I am fully disable person I have been shot 14 bullets across the chest and right leg beacuse I have served in the armed forces, I found it discrimination the staff were talking to me very disrespectfully and threatened me to leave, I've asked them if you're not giving me money please tell me so I can leave rather than arguing and gossiping about me. Strongly suggest not to go to this place because this staff are rubbish

Customer service absolutely appalling- who do these staff members think they are? My daughter in law called in to the store last week - she had taken my grand-daughter to the dentist and was picking up a meal deal before taking my grand-daughter back to school. She wanted to purchase a can of Monster as she was leaving the store for my son/her husband but, her hands were full and so asked my grand-daughter to pick it up and put it on the counter for her. As she was about to pay, the assistant would not serve her saying that she was going to give my grand-daughter the can of Monster and was buying it for het. - WHAT?????? My daughter in law is a responsible parent from a beautiful home, has above average intelligence and has a professional career. How dare an Asda assistant make such an assumption. No matter how much my daughter in law tried to explain that the purchase was for the child's father - it wa to no avail - indeed another Asda assistant had the audacity to become involved to support her colleague's decision. Of course there was no manager/senior assistant around at the time. My daughter in law was so embarrassed, insulted, angry and frustrated (there was a queue behind her at the counter) that the left the store in tears - we will definitely never return to that store for our shopping again. You will guess that the chant from the assistant was "I could lose my job" - may I suggest that Asda cut to the chase and sack her! I await your comments (and sincere apology along with some form of compensation)!!

Asda in Alloa need to start putting the heating on the shop is freezing and start putting the lights on the place is a dark dinghy shop they need to start getting there act together as it's to cold to shop comfortably

No check out staff in the morning. I was in today about 8.45 with a trolley full and was told self service was the only option. Ridiculous considering how many staff members were standing around

Easy access to groceries and household products

Went shopping hear for my food shop. Anyway great selection of food to choose from also decent prices. Great selection of fresh rolls,cakes etc.

no contact for customers. no email and the phone line goes dead after automated message.

Great supermarket with an extensive range of products at very competitive prices for every household. Staff are pleasant, friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Definitely recommended.

Shopped on Thursday 4th February and for once checked my receipt, bought 3 x Activia Yoghurts that were reduce to £1 and charged £2 each, 6 large eggs were in big container on ground and reduced to 79p and was charged 99p and also bought a smoothie juice that said it was reduced to £2 and was charged £3. Will take this further but check your receipts folk, rip off store

The place is empty. There is a heavy reek of facism in the empty store; yet customers are being ordered where to stand. I dutifully went to the back of the queue (more like exile) and then remembered that I needed cigarrette papers, I had to tell the woman where I was going and she actually shouted out in front of the meagre (around 20) amount of shoppers that I would not be sold 1 bottle of whisky, two packets of savoury snacks and two xmas cards at the kiosk. I ended up at the self service but have 'escaped' colditz with my xmas presnts paid for. Have used Asda all of my life and NEVER will again. Disgraceful. It appears that it is not just politics that is swinging to the right, your everyday shop assistant is thoroughly enjoying the power handed down to her. Never felt my rights as a citizen of this nation be so violated.

Store always has a slightly run down and unloved atmosphere about it, not helped by the fact that the shop floor is always littered with stacks of trays and cages, many of which aren't receiving any attention from the staff and just appear to be dumped at random. What is worse is that, unlike all the other supermarkets in Alloa, many of the staff (mostly female) ignore the legal requirement to wear a mask when working in close proximity to customers. This is something which just should not be happening and should be dealt with immediately by the manager.

This place has it all, great parking access, wide variety of stock and a good selection of food, electrical appliances, clothes and toys, even kitchen sinks... Well drainers, well staffed and self service checkouts. A minute from Alloa station and a large carpark with a click and collect point. Great offers on frequently ☺ Warning, utterly shocking queues and never enough checkouts open!!

I have always used asda delivery, but havent been able to get a slot for weeks and have been doing click and collect. Just like to praise all the staff who work at this store, everything works like swiss clockwork, and the staff are great. Especially young Keiran, who brightens my day every time i come, what a lovely lad, even remembers my name without asking, first class.

Today I went to Asda Alloa looking for a mobile phone charger. The lady who was stacking the shelves nearby went above and beyond to help me. Wish I had her name, but really all of the wonderful staff deserve a mention. Thank you for everything you are doing on the front line during this difficult time, well done Asda xx

I love asda go there all the time for my shopping just a wee bit upset to be eating the mini sausage rolls chewed on something strange and pulled out a piece of cardboard will still get somethings from there as the store overall is brilliant just wont be buying some of freezer stuff

There today and a small number of people were waiting outside with trolleys to get in. This was just after 9.00 a.m Obsiously some kind of staggered entry system going on there. Would be helpful to have some information up. Maybe i missed it. Just left anyway 😁

Customers can't get a toilet paper, but workers finishing there shift going through tills with 9 roll packs , they are obviously storing in the back until there finished

Store is okay but café is dreadful.

Nice cafe and good selection of goods with very handy location as this is situated next to the railway station and is very close to the main bus station and the main town centre. Has some extended services such as parcel drop off/collection ,post box and photo services available. Free parking and drive thru are also very handy with the expected deals from this market chain would be a bit better if this was slightly bigger as other stores in the area can offer a larger selection of goods and services for better prices if you shop around.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. Always welcoming and I never feel rushed or in the way. Great selection and prices. Feel more staff is needed in self scan area as all tills are normally flashing for help with one person slowly going round them but this is only an issue if your in a rush and why are the holding the bags ransome? This is the only annoying thing for me as with a baby I have to abondon him in the trolley at the tills to find staff and ask for a bag. When I forget to take bas with me I now opt for a checkout with a person for this reaaon but I don't mind that to be honest as they are normally quite chatty.

Dreadful shop, 2 checkouts open, all self checkouts have no bags readily available. Member of staff in charge of self checkouts carrying the bags around with her so if she is away to help someone at another section you have to either wait or juggle your shopping to the car.

members of staff very rude when asked for help. Normally very good customer service.

Visited today and kiosk staff were in general ignorant and dismissive of the growing queue infront of them, they were more interested in the fact their colleague was going to Florida on Monday. 5 colleagues in total and not one paying attention. Not saying this is the normal for all staff as some people in there are polite but generally speaking avoid the kiosk lassies as they prefer to cackle amongst themselves before serving someone.

A great ASDA, loads to choose from and seasonal goods too. Excellent sales too. There's baby changing facilities (saved my bacon a few times!), a cafe and cash machines available on site. You need to drive around the corner to get to the petrol station, although as with most supermarkets, the fuel is competitively priced.
