This store is going down fast, shelves half empty hardly any choice. Bakery section empty. What is going on. Tesco here I come.

Today at 18:30, the lady at the self service for trolley was so rude, she didnt come once to help with a issue with the barcode, luckily the member of staff who was at the basket checkout resolved the issue. Poor customer service this is really bad service and she was lucky a manager wasnt present

Store untidy and poor availability. Bakery hardly anything on the shelves at 3.30pm Staff i engaged with unhelpful and could not be bothered. Asda shops are the worst compared with other major retailers. Been in a few last few months and everyone of them just as bad in store availabiltyand standards.

Self service is being over done, The majority of people you talk to in store are saying this, needs a rethink

Update on reveiw if your disabled you get 3 hours parking , but if your longer than 2 hours parking eye will issue you a £100 parking fine ! 1st the ladies toilets were shut so my wife whos disabled anyway used the disabled toilets she said the smell was so bad she actually threw up . 2nd why do the delivery drivers for McDonald's park over the disabled parking bays I mean sort it out !!!!! , Friday 10am and store under staffed , many tills shut so huge cues for the self service check outs . Really disappointed overall

Asda nuneaton have changed there frozen sausages , hash browns and other products for cheaper less tasty products . They are using Asda name to sell shody food at high prices absolutely a joke won't be shopping there again

Never anything on the shelves because the online packers take it all and nobody replenishes the stock in the daytime.

I was on a pre-Christmas shopping spree at this shop now I have to pay a parking fine because I was there for over 2 hours. I will never come shopping at this shop again

I'll never forget, when this ASDA had their cafe, I popped in and ordered a tea. The lady serving me used her MOUTH to open up the tea bag. I was in total shock. Of course I didnt drink it. I just threw it out then went to customer services and told them. Unbelievable. But true story. That's the sort of people who work there.

Most disgusting men's toilets possible. Smelt like a 90's pub toilets. Floor was covered in the..... obvious. Toilets didn't flush. Hand soap empty.

Payed for 2KG of mince meat yet was only given 1.5KG and charged the same amount. The food also arrived in damaged boxes and was clearly not looked after with care.

Worst asda I’ve ever shopped at. Both in store and ordering online. Just attrocious experience overall. Dirty in shop and when ordering online it takes 3 hours to be packed.

I actually really love this Asda store, It's not the biggest I have been to but it is big enough that it has everything you need and layed out really well so always enjoy walking around this Asda. There is a McDonald's inside also which is great 👍

There's a large car park, disabled and parent parking. Perfectly positioned for the bus station, railway station. Taxi rank near main doors.

As a delivery driver im not suggest to do collection on this store . They are really waste services . Morethan 2 hours for one order . Employees complaint that only one person handling cluck and collect for whole day . They received averagely morethan 200 orders per day 15.08.2024 also same story they ask me to wait 15 min to collect the orders and after 1.30 hrs he said I can’t find the orders and the manger Mr. Ricky told me our system works like this and they ask me cancell the orders . I strongly suggest the people just think twice before you place the orders in this store

Collection takes excessive time

It would really help if the staff could be bothered to check that the sizes on the hangers married up to the sizes on the garments.

The Nuneaton store has been getting slowly worse to the point I have left three times this last week with nothing, AND don't say it's a supply issue because I found everything I needed at the other local stores, it's simply dire in there now doesn't seem to matter what time of day, early or afternoon, seriously need to look at the management of this store.

Thought the shop was closing down. Hardly anything on the shelves. Bare shelves, not a lot of items I normally buy. Went to Sainsbury's to get fruit and other bits. Very disappointed.

Asda petrol is usually a good price, but do still check local prices before committing. If the petrol price isn't a draw, the store is always worth a check for items still on your shopping list of any sort.

Fuel price is good, but everything else is dire. You can't even scan a reduced item on self service without staff doing it for you, the scan as you go reviews will scan every item in your trolley it seems until a "mistake" is found - except that was the one item I distinctly remember scanning because it had a funny name on the scanner screen, so now I just know they're tasked with making me out to be a thief. Vegetables go bad faster from this shop, if they're in stock at all, the clothing section is always a horrible mess from the hordes of people and I would honestly say the worst sushi rice I've ever eaten came from their sushi counter!

I’m a delivery driver and I advise people this store is not an ideal place for online shopping . 8 items to pick up more than 2 hours and to in a day in an hours more than 4 drivers cancelled the orders . So imagine if a customer order a frozen / chilled food how long that food will be out from chiller …?

People stand in front doors and smoke a lot, entrance and the corridor next to McDonald's is very smelly and dirty. They don't clean floor outside Asda next to bins too. It's extremely dirty.

The two old women in the pizza section were very disrespectful and had bad manners, I guess they don't like their jobs.

Avoid, avoid, avoid... Yesterday was a kind of sistem crash when I was to do some shopping there... Nobody able to fix the crash... Staff don't have any ideas what to do on this kind of situation... They wasted my time sending me from the Scan and Go section because of that kind of sistem crash to stay one hour on the queue on the normal till... Staff just apologising and unable to fix the issue... Disgusting.

they stop selling tabacco after 10pm so im forced to go to petrol station and pay 20% more

Been using asda in Nuneaton for many year's, but it's get worse ever day. 3 ordinary check outs open, all with massive cues. When to self check out massive cues, but about 4 assistants chatting together. Eventually 1 assistants offered to check my 6 item with the new do-it-yourself gun. Why doesn't the assistants open more check outs. I know asda wants everyone to check out there own shopping, but if they are saving money by not paying check out people, make the self check out do-it-yourself cheaper. This was a Wednesday at about 2.30. I dread to think what its like, when its busy.

Horrific!!! On behalf of my Nan, her message to me is heart breaking.... "Asda is getting worse since it was sold and a lot of staff have been let go no disability till on after 7 ( one kind staff open one when I explained how difficult it was to stand in the very long queue at all the so call self service tills if I hadn't had Sam to help me id wouldn't have managed ( I'd picked up a new basic hover ) +shopping they seem to hide the cheaper stuff or make it difficult to find this also staff agreed when we made a complaint" my Nan has dedicated her life to helping the unfortunate, especially children, from helping struggling families with child care to fostering many kids. Her reward is having to struggle picking the cheapest items from the lower shelves and standing in a long queue because my sister couldn't get her there before 7!!!

Not open 24 hours. Went at 5AM on a Tuesday, checked the maps, says it’s open. Check the website, says it’s open. Get there and the doors are closed.

The same items out of stock week after week. Some fruit & veg go rotten very quickly. Needs to increase the quantity of free range chicken & reduce the amount of cheap chicken.

The layout is easy to navigate and well signed. The assistants are always polite and helpful.

Had an absolute nightmare with the scan and go tills, didn't accept any gift cards and crashed removing my whole shop however Lorna (I believe that's her name) the absolute angel stayed with us and sorted all our shopping out even whilst being heavily understaffed and suffering abusive from customers complaining about a lack of staff which is completely not her or any till workers jurisdiction, shes an incredible person and every time I'm there she's happy to help and a funny individual

Fire Alarm has set off 19/11/2023 without any cause or warning, waisted my time doing an hours worth of my shopping, would not visit again

The aisles are often blocked by click and collect trolleys all day! Or combi cages of an evening. Staff don't give a d*mn, about being happy or helping! It's an inconvenient convenience store! 😡😡

Very small store that never really has a huge choice as shelves always having to be stocked again and again. Most of the time the shelves are almost empty Not the cleanest but some staff are lovely helpful and polite. Petrol available but prices are dearer than a big provider like BP or Texaco. Store is now expensive than the other and needs a revamp. Never many tills open. They rely on self scan. Irritates the hell out of me when something does not scan and assistance is required. There are no staff to help. Morrisons is coming to Nuneaton soon so Asda need to pull their finger out or we will be shopping there

Why is it every time i go to asda i cannot park in disabled bays !!!! Not one car displays a blue badge an asking the question to a member of staff all you get is( its not asdas carpark ) you get a ticket if you go over 2hrs so why can you park and not display a badge and not get a ticket???? Get a grip asda deal with the issue!!!!!

One of the main supermarket shopping hubs in Nuneaton. The difference in the items on sale since the change in ownership has been slight but largely consistent. The staggering footfall is a testament to its popularity. The addition of a McDonald's is most welcome

Ordered grocery from Asda and pomegranate was absolutely disgusting was probably expired

Typical Asda, always well stocked, convenient item locations, from my experience the staff are always more than happy to help, I always use the scanner as there’s never a que! Only issue here is the parking. Cramped bays, I have a baby and can hardly ever get a P&C spot due to Uber eats drivers for the Maccas!

WATCHED THE ASDA TV ADVERT ABOUT THE PRICE MATCH WITH ALDI AND LIDL. WHAT YOU ARE BASICALLY SAYING IS THAT YOU ARE FORCED INTO MATCHING PRICES BECAUSE YOU ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOTH OF THOSE SUPERMARKETS. HOW DUMB DO YOU THINK PEOPLE ARE?

I am Outraged about this supermarket. My experience here in October made me agitated and quite frankly offended. It was a friday and i was with my mates trying to get some prime. as we walked swiftly and fastly we were shouted at and threatened by a member of staff at the self checkouts for apparently running. just becuase we are teenagers doesnt mean we should be treated like this. I will never return with friends again to this store

Just been to ASDA Nuneaton to buy a xbox game. Picked the game of the shelf took to counter told they had not got the game. Not as if there was one box there where 20 to 30 of this game. Daughter in tears. Asked why they displayed items they have not got. Just a blank face from the staff member. Asked to speak to a manager. A man that happen to be standing there, was presented as a manager, my dustbin man dresses better than him. Rang the store asked for a manager, reply I am a manager name Mitchel, asked what department she was in, she hung up. Where they recruit their staff from I do not Know but it needs to be looked at. In my opinion could be the rehabilitation centre. IQ below 10 they will employ you, IQ above 12 you become a manager. Any hint of being well mannered you are fired.

I would have given it 5 stars but i wasnt present for the legendary choir-like rendition of God save the queen that was sung by all memebers of staff last year after the queen passed away, this apparently happened after a local came in with the queens picture on the front of her tshirt that instigated/inspired the legendary moment... Legend has it after seeing the picture of the quren on the tshirt, a member of staff stood up on the conveyor belt and saluted the young lady and sang, tear in eye, god save the queen. The entire shop full of customers burst into song, with one young crippled man even banging his crutch along to the song. Had i witnessed this event, i would have given this store 5 stars

I went in to by two energy drinks( I'm 19 btw) I showed ID and had 2 fresh tattoos on show aswell as some others and get refused two times it is horrible and down right worst experience I've had

This review covers home delivery issues. OUT OF STOCK, POOR SUBSTITUTES, DAMAGED ITEMS. this is a normal weekly delivery. + MANAGERS WHO HIDE BEHIND THEIR USLESS FILIPINO CALL CENTRE. shame on the lot of you. I just feel for the drivers who have to face angrey customers while the managers are uncontactable.

Helpfully located by the station, it is useful if you want to get refreshments for your train journey. It looked like it had a side variety of food and other thinks like household items and clothes.

Just done the weekly shop again and I'm so annoyed that products have moved aisles again why can't they be left where they were you put in self serve tills in to speed up people through the store but all you're doing is slowing customer's down it's just pathetic

I am a regular costumer in Asda as it is the best place to shop and I can fine everything I need. However, today at 12:40 I had a bad experience. I forgot to scan the case of beer along with other big shopping in scan as you go due to little incident in the aisle. It was noticed while I was paying. As I walking out the security lady was not polite she was warning me if I forget again I will be banned from the supermarket even after I apologised and told her the reason. It was my first time ever to forget to do so. I am also a human being I can forget sometimes. I was not happy the way she spoke to me.

I am appalled with the poor service I have received today in store at 18:00! a long queue at the pharmacy and only one employee serving. I only had one simple query and no one around to ask! When I phoned the store about my query while waiting in line, I was told "don't know" and "I just happened to answer the phone" and that they were unable to find anyone to assist me. After spending a considerable amount of time in the queue, I watched others exit the queue and walk out empty handed and I eventually had to follow suit! Asda, sort it out, this happens frequently. Instead of copying and pasting the same response to your customers' complaints and saying you'll pass it along, how about you actually make positive improvements to your pharmacy!

Asda is close to my place, so it is accessible to buy something quickly that I forgot or I don't have in my house. Prices are good too. I quit buying online as I had few bad experiences with substitutions.

Plenty of choice and they rarely run out of products. Wider choice than many others. Several options for checkout and home delivery if you want it. Mainly competitive prices but still beaten on some.

Did a late evening shop and had the place to myself. Everything I wanted was in stock and staff were friendly.

Went to Asda to do my shopping and give my Guide Dog puppy some valuable shop experience. The store was well stocked, and a good range of products. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The shop was very welcoming to my puppy in training. I use the shop n scan as it is so easy to shop and pack as we are going around the aisles. The new Asda rewards scheme is also very good and easy to get pounds into cashpot to use in a shop

Very busy store, which includes a McDonald’s too. Car park can be carnage, as people often leave car and go into the town centre - to save paying to park elsewhere!
