literally my favourite (and therefore the best) indian takeaway in london

Placed an order, waited an hour, called them and they said they had received no order and will check and call me back in 5 mins. I waited 15 mins and called again for them to tell me they checked but didn't bother to call me back! Useless ball-bags! I've been getting take away for 5 years from them, it's gone downhill and I will never buy again!!!!

The worst food I have ever had on Just Eat. Very small portions and the food had no flavour at all, too much chilli and the sauce was runny, near burnt popadoms. I had to throw it away as it as inedible.

The sides, what an absolute joke. I call this THEFT. The mango chutney was half a dessert spoon and they had the bare faced cheek to charge £1.50. Aaaand the rest of the sides (mint sauce etc) were the same. I didnt even realise you could buy containers this small. Then we come to the poppadoms. Burnt on the side. Then the main courses, One Lamb Rogan and One Chicken Madras. Apart from the meat it was exactly the same sauce. No difference. Either these people don't know how to cook or they're not from the region they claim to be. No wonder they're giving discounts on online orders. ATROCIOUS. AVOID

The Side dishes were a complete rip off. Half a dessert spoon of Mango Chutney for £1.50. Theft. The same with the yogurt and mint sauce etc. The poppadoms were burnt, and the curries were exactly the same despite one being a madras and the other a roghan. EXACTLY the same sauce in both. Will NOT be ordering from here again

Tracker started showing my order as "delivered" 15 minutes before it actually got delivered, which caused some confusion. Just eat needs to improve its interface

The food arrived cold, and there was only 5 chunks of meat in a tub full of just sauce. The flavours were ok but nothing special.

Delicious food, the naan and paratha were particularly tasty, good portions. great value.

Hot delicious food. Chicken tikka was soft and full of flavour. The vegetable Balti was packed full of aubergines, potatoes and okra.

The lamb was hard and tasteless, and boney. Unfortunately the paneer was tasteless too.

Disappointed. I ordered the chicken tikka balti, there was more sauce than than chicken..it was watery and thin. The keema nan was not authentic at all. It was more slices of kebab meat sandwiched in. I won't be ordering from here again and will tell others not to either.

It’s not a good sign when you order four very different curries and they arrive all the same bright orange colour. Avoid

Some of the food was good but some of the (savoury) dishes were so sweet they were inedible

The daal and brinjal sabzi were nice but the matar paneer and the coconut rice were so sweet they were completely inedible

Good value but food taste/quality wasn't the best.

I used to really enjoy the food here however I recently found a piece of glass in my dal and went to tell them to warn them that this had happened and I understand sometimes these things can be a accident however it was very concerning, i was treated like I was faking it and told it’s not possible. One of the chefs was being very very rude and shaking his head I didn’t even come back for a refund I came back to warn them for future sales. Very very disappointed and concerned.

My curry finally arrived after four phone calls chasing it up and on the third I was offered a cola when all I wanted was a good meal. A good meal was the COMPLETE Opposite of what arrived ( Cold soup like madras and in the next box cold egg pillar rice and pods doms . The food needed re heating and although I was offered two free pods doms and a tiny pot of chutney the food was very VERY poor quality far from the Indian cuisine on take aways I am use to never mind once being employed in the top

Unfortunately I have to leave a 3 star review as, whilst the food was tasty, the lamb tikka Balti only had 5 tiny pieces of lamb tikka in it with the remainder being pure sauce ! A lamb tikka balti with such little lamb just doesn’t sound right !

Take out was 10/10 this is the third time I've ordered and they've never disappointed (from an Indian). I highly recommend the Chicken vindaloo and their garlic naan is pretty great. I thought the lamb samosas were pretty good but if you're not a fan then I say skip them, nothing too special. But the chicken vindaloo is 10/10 for sure

What a waste of Friday evening! I placed an order on their own website confirmation email for delivery by 8:30 and called at 8:50 to be told no order had been received and BOSS was not here. Great service. Luckily, there is no storage of excellent Indian restaurants around our local area.

Second time eating from here and the flavours of the biriyani and seekh kebab are amazing!!

I go past this place 2 x daily when travelling to work on the number 30 and have often wondered about the food, and never noticed them on Just Eat before. Well priced, well cooked, and for the 1st time on Just Eat an Indian takeaway where the portion size is enough for 2 people (as opposed to 2 hamsters...). This will certainly be my go-to for future orders - shame they don't have a sit-in service, I'd definitely go there. This is not a criticism, but something common with all curry houses - sabzis and daals - £5 plus? c'mon guys..... 5*+.

Just had the chicken vindaloo delivered through Just Eat. Was one of the finest curries have had in a long time. I'll be back.

The food is bad. It’s very sweet after two bites you will feel why didn’t I order dessert for myself instead. Not worth it at all.

What a disgraceful delivery service from the person that delivered the food. My partner ordered through the Deliveroo app on Monday 20th of December 2022. The food took over 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive. My partner had to call the resturant 4 times and they kept on making excuses and telling her that the food would arrive very soon. They then sent one of their own members of staff to deliver the food as a Deliveroo driver wasn’t available, the food arrived at 12:10am. He then kept on hassling my partner to give him a £5 tip and that he deserved the money for coming over with the food order (which was close to 2 hours late!!). He wouldn’t leave her and kept asking for the money. How on earth can someone get away with this sort of behaviour. I’ve ordered from this resturant before, but after this behaviour I will never deal with them again. I now plan on going to the resturant to complain to the manager in person. Utterly shameful and intimidating behaviour from the driver.

Honestly just tasted like baby food. Disappointed because it had great reviews on Uber Eats, although Uber Eats would then not let us leave a review. I've never seen a yellow Chicken Tikka Massala before.

I ordered from here, willing to accept the 60 minute delivery time. After 2 hours, I still haven’t received my food, and the restaurant have not been contactable through their phone number, the line isn’t even ringing.

Ordered through just eat and it took 1 3/4 hours to arrive. Tried phoning repeatedly and couldn't get through. When it arrived the food wasn't good, spicing was poor, too much chilli and clove, made it almost inedible .. it was much better last time we ordered. What's gone wrong Art of Spices?

Ordered food an hour and 15 minutes ago and have yet to receive it. The order was changed to ‘enjoy your food’ implying delivery, but nothing has arrived. I called the restaurant a while back and they rudely rushed me off the phone saying the delivery was 5 minutes away. It’s been 15 minutes since then and counting. Very unimpressed and I want a efund.

we ordered 3 different currys that all tasted almost identical, only diffrence being that the "masala was incredibly sweet. The biryani was dry, almost meatless and flavourless.

The food arrived super fast and the portions were great, everything was so flavourful - the tandoori chicken and lamb achari were especially tasty. New fave takeaway spot for sure.

Absolute waste of time. Waited nearly 3 hours. Phoned restauraunt for update after it was over an hour passed its 'latest' delivery estimate. Was promised on it's way "15 - 20 mins max" 45 mins later still no food. Just finished a shift and hungry but need to go to sleep so too late to order from anywhere else. Avoid this place. unless you wanna take a gamble of it turning up pot luck and given the run around on the phone. Thanks a bunch

Food excellent, though delivery a little slow. One major annoyance with this restaurant is that they list themselves on Just Eat as being open when they aren't, meaning I've sometimes ordered and my order just sits in limbo.

They sent the wrong order, food was inedible and when I politely called to explain neither the chef or his brother cared.

I have been getting takeaway from here for about 4 years and I have nothing but good things to say. The food is fresh, tastes amazing and the delivery is always fast. When they ran out of an item I ordered, I got a phone call and offered an alternative! Highly recommend.

THIS PLACE IS EPIC! Don't waste your time with other Indian restaurants. I feel like a winner every time for finding this place.

Superb. I think there are supply chain issues for restaurant ingredients across England at the moment, but these guys have figured out how to make it just as good or better in spite of all that :) I really recommend the Onion Bhaji, Tikka Masala, and Saag.

The food quality has dropped recently - not sure why. Still good though.

Generous portions but not great quality, and delivery was a bit of a mess with sauce leaked all through the bag and smashed poppadoms

Very bad. They are rude and unprofessional. I have ordered on deliveroo and they were 45min late, when I called them they told me to contact deliveroo when it was 100% their fault. They hanged off on me. And I have tried back and again hanged off on me. Jerk. I just now hope they did not spit in my food. And the food was bad

Best Indian food I’ve had delivered over two years living in london!

Was out for a walk this evening and passed by here. Decided to order a takeaway. Friendly efficient team , focus on spices used in cooking. Was excellent quality.. the butterfly prawn starter was a meal in itself! Not sure how long open, looked busy with orders for collection., so I hope they do well. Thanks to the kitchen team!

The rice for my food was a bit spicy and the curry was full of lentils and not chunky vegetables.

The portions are very generous and good value. The mixed starters were very good. The aloo gobi was a tiny bit too hot for me (I always go for mild). Unfortunately, both the vegetable korma and matar paneer were far too sweet for me and I couldn't eat much of them. So I'm afraid there's a lot of food wasted.
