Arrosto Cafe in Coleraine

Myself and my husband visited this cafe whist staying in portrush for a week. Staff were lovely and very friendly, the food was beautiful and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend going here and we will definitely be back. Thankyou

Popped into this lovely little cafe for a coffee whilst wandering around Portrush. Managed to get a lovely spot in the window which was perfect to watch the world go by. Very friendly staff and good coffee. It certainly is a popular place to eat and the food that we saw being delivered to tables around us looked really good and plenty of it. Would highly recommend a visit.

This was our first stop after getting of the train. Our lunch was lovely and piping hot, you couldn't fault it. Staff were lovely and very pleasant, reasonably priced.

I eat on a regular basis in this lovely cafe, because I do not do carbs they give me an extra slice of bacon. As one who own a Travel Magazine, I pride my judgement of good quality establishments, and this is one. Spotlessly clean, great service and good value.

Visited for breakfast during a recent trip to Portrush, I had a cooked breakfast which I thought was pretty good value for what I actually got. I usually find with a cooked breakfast that there's one part of it that is not so great but everything on this breakfast was all good quality and all cooked great, I enjoyed the breakfast so much that I cam back one of the following days for the same thing!

We stopped here for breakfast after a long walk . Portions were good Food was amazing and staff really friendly . Prices reasonable

came here this morning for a breakfast and coffee before a day of hiking, unfortunately the food wasn't the greatest as I had to attend the little man's room shortly after, slightly over priced for all me and my partner got I would think again before returning to the cafe

Me and my friends visited arrosto cafe today and we all had the arrosto fry which really hit the spot! The staff were friendly and welcoming, will definitely be back!

I do not know what has happened to this coffee shop! This use to be the nicest place in Portrush but it has seriously went down hill! The staff are so rude and the food was disgusting!

This was the most horrific experience ever! I have never meet such rude people working for this business, they need to be taught a few manners! And as for the actual owners of the establishment they should not be working in hospitality!

Use to go here all the time, I now will not be back! New staff are rude, the food quality has went downhill! It is just not what it use to be, you could feel a bad atmosphere in the place from the staff!

My pancake stack was 4 shop bought pancakes with syrup and two packs of butter on the side for about £5. My mum asked if they had anything gluten free and the server offered a ‘vegetarian fry’ - they are not the same. One member of staff did know what gf was and as she was passing through said soup wasn’t but stew was. My daughter had a mini fry and did eat it but bacon was very hard/over cooked. Bob and Berts is miles better.

Lovely friendly cafe with great toasted sandwiches and coffee. Welcoming friendly staff and good value for money. Lovely surroundings and very clean.

Loved this cafe - serves amazing coffee. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. Great to sit outside also. Highly recommended.

This cafe done and excellent breakfast...better than Atlantic hotel...great staff .excellent service...the fry was really lovely that hubby had...and i had the perfect scrambled eggs...

What can I say about this cafe. The young girl who took our order at the counter was pleasant and friendly, that was the good part. Then it all went down hill, coffee was undrinkable, had such an awful taste to it, breakfast when served was chucked at us by a grumpy waitress, I couldn’t believe it. I am a waitress myself and if I served customers like that I would be sacked! The man collecting the plates and washing them in the kitchen was dipping them not washing them properly. Cutlery looked dirty. Food was awful, cheap sausages, bad fried egg with a cracked yolk and undercooked soda’s . As other reviewers have written walk on by this cafe. Staff rude and not wearing masks. Food bland. Coffee dreadful, don’t waste your money.

Busy spot. Friendly staff. Their cappuccinos were smooth, hot and very tasty. A couple of sample traybakes at the counter - also tasty. Love getting he window seat to watch the world go by! Planning on returning next weekend for their breakfast deal.

Visited here recently and had some snacks. Coffee just ok..... possibly some issue with machine..... grainy in the cup. Biggest faux pas was squirty cream with the scone however..... unforgivable. Poor quality jam portion, Cheap panini bread too ☹️

Visited here today due to convenience as I was starving and really didn’t want to walk about looking somewhere else to eat. Ordered chicken strips and chips, the chicken strips were tiny i would have mistaken if for a kids meal. Food was bland, even the garlic mayo wasn’t nice. Keep walking round before going into whatever place is closest.

Visited yesterday and had a fry. Not a bad price but fried egg wasn’t cooked great & potato & soda bread a bit dried up. Kids paninis looked nicer. Wouldn’t really rush back

During the one very good sunny day during the British Open Championship at Royal Portrush I and my brother decided to see what all the fuss was about in Portrush. Unfortunately neither of us had tickets so we decided to head into town for lunch and while there we came across this little busy cafe across the way from Barry's Amusements. The staff were very nice and helpful and the food was out at our table within 10 minutes after ordering. The food was simple but filling and the wrap was made properly and didn't fall apart when you start biting into it. The butter and jam bagel was a nice little odd treat as you don't often see butter and jam offered in a bagel which is a nice oddity to come across. Overal very nice and right in the centre of town which is very handy for anyone visiting the magestic North Coast of Northern Ireland.

had a tea break here and the sandwiches were freshly made and very nice. The prices are not too dear and the staff are good.

Friendly staff and great little place for lunch or a warm up beverage and a little something sweet.I had homemade soup and a sandwich which was great for the cold rainy day. Others had egg and meat breakfast and enjoyed it as well. We came back by the following day for a coffee and a sweet treat as a break from the rain again.

I went here on both days of the airshow for breakfast with my friend we found the food was very nice and with it being very busy we found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful we thought the place was very clean and the tables cleaned quickly for new people. I would have no problem at coming back as the food and service was good.

Service was cold, food was mediocre to say the least and the coffee, well there's a spar up the road with better take away coffees. This place was so good in the past but standards have dramatically dropped. They had outstanding home baking and really tasty savoury food. Now it's all lynas frozen pastries and they don't even bother to take the plastic wrapping off......The garlic chicken and caramelized onion panini just tasted of cinnamon, really??Staff need to learn how to smile and say please and Thank youWon't be back!

Called in for a coffee. Stood in the queue being ignored as the staff member continued her conversation. When she finally decided to serve us, we weren’t greeted and she struck up another conversation with someone behind us in the queue.

Called in for afternoon late lunch. Wife ordered Cornish Pastie and I ordered Panini with Chicken BBQ sauce and cheese. Pastie tasted slightly of dough and on the dry side. Panini was very disappointing as the chicken was luke warm although the cheese had melted. Not very appetising at all. With 2 cups of tea and costing just over £14, I expected a slightly higher standard of food. Staff very friendly and welcoming with premises very clean.

Seven of us walked into this gem. Food had arrived almost before we had finished paying. Nicely cooked, great portions. Excellent coffee and home made cakes. All round Fab.

Me gusta mucho la Arrosto Cafe. Es un lugar bastante moderno con un montón de gente joven. Es un lugar que me alegra frecuente.

Fuimos a recepción a pedir pero me dijeron que era helado de ser ordenados en un lugar diferente del café. Finalmente nos dieron café para mí y helado para mi esposa, pagando en dos puntos.

I live in Portrush so there is a wide choice one of the better ones I would recommend it well situated in town open all through the year coffee is really nice as well

Este es un típico café de la calle alta, pero está impecable y el personal es simplemente genial. Nada era demasiada molestia y una sonrisa amable y feliz. Fuimos a desayunar dos veces en la semana pasada y la comida estaba caliente, de buena calidad y no es el típico preparado para dos horas de cosas. Los precios eran muy buenos, y el café era fácilmente su llamados locales de mercado. en toda su otro estaremos en la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Mientras que en Portrush estábamos mirando alrededor por algún sitio para comer y encontramos esta joya de lugar. Pedimos nuestra comida y esperamos y quedamos sorprendidos de lo que vino a nuestra mesa. . Los más frescos sándwiches. hemos tenido mientras come en Portrush. También probé un roll de salchichas caseras, lo cual fue encantador. . Junto con una taza de té cada uno y los precios eran razonables. . . Puede estar muy concurrido. aquí pero lo conseguimos en un tiempo cuando no estaba tan lleno. . . lugar agradable a sentarse y relajarse.

Fuimos a llegar a los niños un trozo de pan en la mañana del día de salida. 2 rebanadas por £2 al menos Dick Turpin puso una máscara! ! Pedimos un rollo jumbo para otra salchicha £2. Si bien este era jumbo no me gustaría ver una pequeña! Orden de mi esposa de un bollo simple resultó ser un bollo de frutas! Personal no exactamente lleno de alegría. Enormemente decepcionante!

Stopped of for lunch today. A very warm, clean & welcoming cafe. Fantastic selection of breads, pastries etc. Friendly staff. Tasty toasties & big pots of tea to serve one person! Good value for money.

Once again food in arrosto of great quality, friendly staff, central location. Home made soup a speciality. Friendly atmosphere central location well worth a return visit.

Good coffee and a nice sausage roll. The staff is attentive and friendly. Outside seating is nice but the street is usually crowded. Good experience. Recommend it when visiting Portrush

Stopped here on the way to the Causeway. Pleasant staff and fresh sandwich. Outside seating area was just what we needed. Handy stop off for a cuppa

Not a big visit, a tea, flat white and croissants, but nothing to fault, warm staff, great coffee, pleasant surroundings, will be back.

Soy local de portrush y no podía creerlo cuando me di cuenta que nunca había probado arrosto así que me llevé a mi madre allí hoy. Ambos tuvimos panniis que eran absolutamente preciosa, me sorprendí gratamente sorprendido y era muy abundante. Definitivamente volveremos otra vez y se lo recomendaría a ir en un día tranquilo, para que pueda relajarse y comer. Había oído rumores de que es caro pero para dos panniis llenado y un zumo de naranja y un precioso cappichino pensé £13.00 era razonable para nuestra comida. La decoración es moderna y limpia, y el ambiente es relajado y es un lugar encantador para comer.

Having walked around the town we stopped for a brew. Deciding to have a fry it was served quickly because all have been pre-cooked including the rubbery egg. Cheap enough reasonable selection on the boards. Tea and hot chocolate was acceptable.

great coffee in a very good location if you want to people watch but the food here ie scones and pastries here are all wrapped in cling film , that puts me off ,it makes me think the food is not moving fast enough so it needs wrapping. We did get the fry one day and really for the price there is better out there , ps please tell the staff to smile more they always look cross.

I went here for my lunch the other day, and was attracted by the appearance of the cafe front, also was planning to sit outside in the sun and eat my lunch. however by the time I had got my food and drink, these tables had been taken by people who hadn't ordered yet and had sent their friends in to order for them, reserving the tables. when I was ordering, I asked for a flavoured latte, which is completely normal if you ask me, and although they had the syrups there to provide it, the barista seemed completely confused and somewhat resentful of my request. I didn't feel overly welcomed by this and wont return in a hurry especially given the fact that they don't take card payments.

Nice open coffee shop with varied menu and nice looking freshly made sandwiches. Coffee tasted really nice. Good wee stop off.
