One of my favourite place of eating Bengali food. Though there are other cuisine they serve equally tasty, but I personally love Bengsli food and aroma coffee is one of the very few restaurant that caters Bengali foods also along with other cuisines. Wonderful food. Recently, they have introduced "kachhi Biriyani" which is Amazing. It is Genuine "Dum" Biriyani; which needs a lot of time and patience to prepare with lots of proper attention. Aroma cafe has done that and thus the Result is also that ..... Amazing. I have thoroughly enjoyed as the other foods I take. Thank you guys. A good job done. I will happily continue my visit to Aroma Coffee House and Recommend Aroma Coffee House.

One of the best Bangladeshi cuisine I’ve experienced in Birmingham lately. Their catering service is amazing. They delivered the foods all in time. I found the following to be the most authentic Bangladeshi foods: * Chotpoti, * Chicken roast * Aromatic Pilau * Bhuna Khichuri * Morog Polau (Pilau with chicken) * Halim These are just few names of their great foods. Their prices are also very reasonable.

We often dine in for breakfast or lunch at Aroma. Their food is delicious and very friendly service. We recently had food from Aroma for a party. Everyone was complementing about the food. Delivery was on time. Reasonable price. Highly recommended.

do not come here and go somewhere else. to start, the people there had some attitude, the lady who appeared to be a waitress mocked my family members when they were ordering, seeing that she was laughing to herself at some of our selections. next, the general atmosphere of the place is quite literally filthy. there were stained walls, holes, rips and damaged furniture; it looked cheap and disgusting. one concern was that the tables still had leftover food like it was never cleaned and the walls were covered with nasal mucus. i lost my appetite just seeing how the place was in terms of cleanliness. following on, the silverware and cups. absolutely gross. they looked as if they didnt wash them ever since the first customer has used them. my mom even had to ask one of the staff to wash the glass again. finally, talking about food, it wasnt all that bad. however, i will say that they did add an unnecessary amount of spice when it wasnt listed on the menu: usually food places dont add any chilli peppers or extra seasoning unless you ask afterwards or is listed. seeing that there were two young children as well and still provided food that they couldnt handle was concerning. in general, the food hygiene wasnt exactly the best. my sister found hair in her food and it wasnt hers, considering the hair she found was short which meant it belonged to the person preparing the food. please get this place checked out by the food standards agency and actually hire some cleaners.

Come here regular never been disappointed very good value for money with good portions would definitely recommend to bring family here.

The food is really tasty and authentic. If you would like authentic Bangladeshi breakfast, snacks, and some other dishes, this is the best place in Birmingham.

Gentleman seemed friendly, nice environment, luckily found public parking space near in highly busy area. Food was OK, salad was nicely cut. Female colleague put her hand in our rice & picked out the hair pushing the plate towards us to eat it when shoeing hair. Dumped the spoons on the table twice. Never again.

I recently visited Aroma Coffee House & Desi Restaurant in Lozells and found it to be a bit average. I ordered a latte, which was lukewarm and not very flavorful. The atmosphere was also quite noisy, so it wasn't the most relaxing place to enjoy a coffee. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and the service was quick. Overall, I wouldn't say that Aroma is a bad coffee house, but there are definitely better options in Lozells.

I am a regular customer in this shop and mostly come here for breakfast, which gives me pure Bangladeshi test. Price is reasonable and affordable compared to any food-shop in Birmingham. Staffs are polite and helpful. Hope to visit soon and highly recommend.

Delicious food (haleem, moglai parata, chicken roast) are excellent. Friendly service. Restaurant is small but the friendliness of the owners make up for it.

Today, I had breakfast at Aroma. I ordered meat biryani and four chicken pastries. When the food was served, the manager gave me some salad that appeared to be old and discolored. I inquired about its freshness, to which he insisted it was fresh. However, I had to request the bill three times. This manager, whoever he is, displayed a notably unpleasant attitude and was quite rude. He also over charged me. The local authority food and safety team should visit this place for inspection.

Excellent place for Asian food. W rare from India , Gujarat and foodie too. We were satisfied with the food and service. The manager was very well mannered and polite and served us breakfast to our satisfaction. Must have a healthy starter breakfast, ginger tea, parathas. Everything excellent.

Service really bad. coffee was bitter. Sauce was put over old sauce and wasnt cleaned out. Didnt clean the tables properly. Toilets were disgusting. Food was cold when served. My family had all been sick after eating their food.

Server to busy chatting to non paying friends sitting around the counter & ignoring paying customers sitting at table waiting for service very bad for business I had to interrupt his talking about his time in Italy and the time it took to come to work I decided to walk to the counter to get his attention I wanted to walk out of the place but I had a guest with me eventually he came to take the order at the table after we waited 20 minutes absolutely poor service our food came after another 20 min he forgot the tea that we asked to be served before the food it’s how I like it one serving of tea before and one after the food not paying attention when taking orders lost revenue bad for business overall experience good food bad service

Nice place, I assume run by Bangladeshis who’ve come from Italy. It’s nice to see a coffee shop in Lozells, serving Bengali cafe-style food, and to hear different Bengali dialects inside. If I was still living in Birmingham I think this would be the perfect place to set up a regular Bangla speaking practice group, so that Sylhetis like myself can practice speaking Bangla with others. Had Desi Tea and Mughlai Paratha - very tasty.

Excellent Bangladeshi Restaurant in Birmingham! When I miss dhakaiya food, this is my destination.

Aroma review Been a regular here of recent (ordered 3 times before, first time on just eat). Honestly wasn’t as impressed as I’ve been in the past. Platter (£12.99) - bear in mind it has a flavoured rice (akhni pulao), this was at the bottom together with everything else and it was all covered in a saucy channa which changed the flavour of it all. Shame it couldn’t be separate or at the least on the side. Surprisingly the peri peri chicken was the least spicy out of the other items I ordered (fiazi, samosas, curries) and was quite dry (as though it had been pre-cooked). The serving of channa was far more than both the separate individual portions of curries I ordered which I’ll detail below! Chicken samosas (£1.49 for 2) - normally a big fan of these but they’re not as they used to be. They’re now full of potato, extremely spicy and quite salty. Beef bhuna with kichuri (£6.49) - this used to be a large container of rice and about a third of a small container of beef bhuna. The large container has now turned into a small container and is no longer value for money. Akhni pulao (£5.49) - still happy with this - served in a large container and is fairly mildly spiced so the children can happily eat this. Chicken Karahi (£4.99) - Shame the listing didn’t state it was on the bone - it’s basically less than half a baby chicken with lots of onion, served in a small container. Comes with a paratha. Not value for money. Meat bhuna (£5.99)- again about a third of a container and served on the bone (which wasn’t mentioned). Comes with a paratha. Not value for money.

Good desi food. Their paratha with mixed vegetables is really good. Must try the milk tea. Their service is great as well.

Always order online from here so decided to go in store to eat. Have never had any issues with the food

It was a place where I had the ultimate Bengali breakfast after a while. I loved eating here. After that, I loved the tea they served. Total Bengali flavour. They have good seating area. Though I couldn't finish the whole thing I ordered, but it was a great experience. I appreciate their effort to make Bangladesh live in the heart of Birmingham.

Used to like the food from here so much. Recently been very disappointed to be served old rotten food. It was even smelling bad. We bought for iftar and left the place. When opened the food was shocked! We live far and was not possible to go back and ask for change. No way anyone should sell such rotten food!

Breakfast was nice... Desi Omelette was very good with Paratha... Add any hot drink for 99p was not completely true as I was charged £1.95 for desi tea and the guy behind the counter couldnt understand what any hot drink meant lol oh well, still worth it...

Traditional bengali food at an affordable price. Ordered the platter and a naga burger. The akhni fulaw and sana tasted just like Bangladesh and my parents really enjoyed it. The naga burger was a standard cheese burger with a naga sauce on top. I wouldnt reccomend the burger but the platter was fresh and authentic.

Honestly didn’t think much of this place, but went in and it was a clean and nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and food was absolutely excellent. I loved their Syhleti Nashta, the aloo bhaji was amazing and their parathas are always so soft. It was a joy to eat their food and its always hot nothing was cold. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a coffee break or breakfast. Very nice!

How people like this place I do not know I think they must have begged the customers to write a good review. This place has potential but if your gnna give 1 toast and cut it in half and then say it's 2 slices is ridiculous. Need to cut down on your prices. The tea was nice but everything else needs to be worked on. Mostly empty when ever I walk past don't know where the 5 star people have gone.

Food took 30 mins to make which is long considering a simple menu with not many customers inside, "spicy beans" were regular canned beans with chopped green chilli on top. The omelette was filled with big chunks of raw onion and needed better seasoning. On the bright side the food was fresh and service was good too. Its worth a visit if you've never been before.

A fantastic place to have a breakfast. I will recommend to everyone to visit local business for their encouragement. Food was fresh and tasty. Kids loved cake bites and milk shakes. Staff was really helpful and down to earth. Only problem on lozells road is parking but luckily I ve got space right in front of cafe. After paying bills staff gave chocolate to kids. Kids were over the moon.. :),

AVOID. A terrible place to go for breakfast. Food isn't nice, I mean how do they get breakfast wrong? They put on their menu 2 slices of toast for almost £2, we received 1 slice of toast but it's cut in half, so that's how we get 2. Absolute rip off for what you pay. Almost £5 for a child size plate of food. Your better off going to Chaii wala or red couch for a decent breakfast. The people that have left the previous reviews must be deluded.

ARRIVED LATE EVENING WITH MY FAMILY. THE PLACE REALLY APEALED TO ME FROM THE START! THE CONCEPT IS JUST WHAT THE LOCALITY NEEDED OFFERING DESHI BREAKFAST WITH A TWIST. ON THIS OCCASION IT WAS ONLY AN EVENING MEAL BUT I STILL MANAGED TO SQUEEZE A BREAKFAST MEAL IN. FROM START TO FINISH THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS PERFECT. TO TOP IT ALL OFF COULD’NT HELP MYSELF FROM TRYING THE DESERTS AS THEY WERE STARRING AT ME FROM THE MINUTE I WALKED IN! PERFECT END TO A PERFECT EVENING.
