Loved the food here. Well worth a visit. Interesting selection of options and the cauliflower dish was especially delicious. Wish I could be there now.

This is place is amazing, absolutely brilliant food. The mushroom mapo is great as is the chicken and the poussin when they are on the menu. Look forward to sampling the new look Arch Rivals!

Four of us arrived at 6:15 for a celebration meal for my daughters GCSES. Children had kombucha and we had cocktails- try the gooseberry margarita. KFC- Korean fried cauliflower was amazing(we had two) , watermelon salad and Thai mussels amazing. Daughter loved pork cheek, not sure about the egg/ sausage mc muffin. Not cheap but good value for the quality of the food and service. Will be going back soon.

Really lovely food - we have tried almost everything on the menu over time - and always get excited when KFC is on the menu. Great people too. It's getting very popular now so worth reserving in advance as you are in a bit of no man's land food wise if they get busy but you can always get a drink up the road.

The food is completely delicious and absolutely unique. Reasonably priced with consistently excellent service. We are regular customers who have had another fantastic meal this evening with perfect friendly welcoming but non intrusive service from lovely Jessica.

Small menu, but huge on flavour. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was a special place. The atmosphere is great, the staff attentive but not “in your face”. The portions are really good, but nothing is too rich. We had (there were 4 of us!) Numbing Cucumber Sichuan Vinaigrette, KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower), the Aubergine, Sweetcorn, Nectarine Salad, and... Pork Belly Pandora, and fried chicken. I can’t really do justice to the flavours, sweet, sour sharp and salt all in lovely balance. And fab cocktails - rhubarb gimlet and marmalade old fashioned rendered one of our party incoherent..... The wine list is very, very good, and mixes some great value but slightly unusual wines with some left field fabulous stuff, most of which is available by the glass. So... I will definitely return, whenever I am in London. It is off the beaten track a bit, but a lovely mix of clear regulars and new people like me made it a really great night out.

I agree with a recent reviewer, the food is far too salty and heavy and left my gasping for water. The staff were nice and nice venue though stools aren't my favourite. Interesting cocktails though.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time, fantastic dishes packed full of flavour - I was in heaven. Great options for veggies as well. I guess the genre could be described as Korean tapas. We had 7 dishes between 4 of us, but 6 would have given us a generous meal. My favourite dish was a mushroom and tofu one, the cheesy sweetcorn, green bean tempura and cauliflower dishes were amazing too. The menu's change regularly and I think seasonal, the food certainly tasted fresh. So enough of the superlatives, here's the negatives (not enough to change the score for me or deter me from wanting to go back), the chef uses Miso and fish sauce which do tend to be salty, so bear this in mind (I didn't really notice, but others in my party did). The wine list appears to be a little limited. We can recommend the Primitivo and possibly the hardest thing to bear for 4 slightly older people, was the loud grunge which accompanied the earlier part of our meal. Granted the restaurant is a hip place and it was a Saturday evening, but I do prefer more mellow tunes while I ingest my meal. Not somewhere I'd recommend taking someone for a romantic meal unless they had a penchant for bellowing.

We should have really loved the place - it's a little gem of a place in a railway arch with lovely decor and friendly staff. It has a small menu which is updated regularly. Unfortunately, we were left quite disappointed with the food - two of the dishes were way to salty and left us drinking a lot of water! Maybe we just got unlucky - would be happy to give it another go!

Visited 3 times now. Intriguing spicy eastern fusion menu made with real flair and top notch ingredients. Great assortment of good value wines and draught beers. Local pioneers that deserve support in this up and coming area. Don’t miss it.

We went for lunch on the last day of the taco Dave cover. Great cocktails, wine and ale. Brisket was divine, spicy chicken waffle so different and great , chips non greasy . Tables in and outside quieter than we expected . Will be back for brunch and dinner when the normal menu returns as well as it is an easy walk across wanstead flats

We eat dinner here regularly and love it. This was our first brunch here and we were equally impressed. Four of us shared dishes including Korean cauliflower, mapu mushroom, pork plucks, kimchi cauliflower and pork ragu. We loved it all! The stag are very friendly and helpful. Of course we will be back and so will our new recruits to the Arch Rivals experience!

Great atmosphere and the Boa bun with soft shell crab was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Would highly recommend going here for a meal and drinks. A real Forest Gate gem.

Nice place for cake and coffee. Lovely atmosphere. Bit pricey, especially the course menu, which was OK but not as tasty as the cakes and some previous stews and savoury dishes they did previously.

Tucked away at the back of Highams Park, this venue is of the highest standard if you are a lover of the traditional English brekkie. Whilst other establishments would serve cheap bacon and sausages,
