Arch Clapham in Lambeth

Fab karaoke night on a Wednesday with a great host, nice staff and it’s an attractive venue, but loses marks for the unfriendly management. The point of a venue when you’re spending money is to make you feel welcome. A simple smile would suffice but it’s not happening here. Shame.

Warmth of welcome like a Siberian Gulag, the atmosphere of a Covid testing centre. I'd rather drink a bottle of wine in the middle of Clapham High Street. That's whete the staff thought my friend and I should disappear being over 40 and not wearing "fashion". What on earth has hapoened to Gay venues in Clapham?

Came here with friends for an evening out. Even though they were fully booked, the manager made an effort to fit us in as long as we had eaten and could leave before the bookings arrived, which was really good of them. We had the espresso martini (£11.00), the virgin Moscow Mule which was absolutely delicious (£5.00), padron peppers (£7.00), the crispy chicken stack (£15.00), the charred chicken salad (£12.00) (the charred chicken was lovely), the crusted halloumi fries (£7.00) and the Thai style salad (£12.00). Service charge of 12.5% was added. All in all we had a lovely evening and the staff were great and the place had a great atmosphere.
