Este lugar era terrible. Absolutamente asqueroso. Mi hijo vomitó después de 2 horas de comer esto. El pollo no estaba limpio ni bueno.

The restaurant in Erbil provides impeccable service, earning a 5/5 rating. The food quality is exceptional, also receiving a perfect score of 5/5, and it is well worth the money spent. The Erbil kebab I tasted was the most delicious I've ever had, and I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to visit this restaurant. Additionally, their special Erbil platter is generously portioned, perfect for six people, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The owner of restaurant was really accommodating. He tailored the menu so the food was enough for a table of 9. The portions were big, food had a lot of flavour and it was all beautifully displayed on a platter. Would have liked an option for tap water, though. It was nice to look at the menu which explained the history of “Erbil”. Good location - 4 minute walk from Edgware Road station.

This place is amazing. We had a combo of lamb and chicken on the grill and both were exceptional. The salad and sides are to die for and the sweet at the end was great as well. The service was very friendly and gracious.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 4 years after a few different Iraqi friends had recommended it. It just serves the best food in all London, and a lot of it! I can never finish a dish. Before you even order they bring you a salad, pickles and a soup, then you also get complimentary hummus and tzatziki with your mains and freshly baked bread just keeps on coming! And after words sweets and tea on the house! Dinner for 2 (and I mean you can't move from the table after it) normally cost us around £25! However please be advised although it serves amazing food, the restaurant itself is nothing fancy and as far as I am concerned does not serve alcohol, so we come here very often for a meal but it might be not the place for a romantic date or a celebration. P.S. The restaurant has been under the refurbishment for a while now, can't wait for it to be reopen!

This place used to have really reasonable meals priced reasonably just simple onions garlic tomato puree and water plus lamb shanks cooked for an hour served with rice then they would charge £4 for it the place suddenly as soon as they got more than a couple dozen customers they then increased the price to minimum £9-10 its not right therefore we wont be going there anymore also there rice quality isn't that great as they use the cheap brand and you can tell when you eat it.

Kurdish friend brought me us here and boy, they serve really good food! I've never been to Iraq but if a Kurdish friend says it is good, it should be up to their standards. According to her it is one of the "closest to home" place in London. I'm satisfied with the meat and bread, meat very juicy and bread is super freshly baked. Everything that we order came with bread. It isn't very expensive either, for about 10-15 quids you can get a good meal.

It's safe to say you can ignore the bad reviews on here, I have visited on 3 separate occasions with a work colleague. On arrival staff are quick to have you seated and take your order, the orange juice is squeezed there and then, it's delicious, surprisingly you will be served with a delicious soup as a complementary starter.I highly recommend the mixed grill for two, initially you are served with hummus , tzatziki and a couple of very thin large breads, then salad arrives followed by a plate of chargrilled meats.Highly recommended

Ignore the moaners on here, the food is beautiful, so much flavour your tastebuds can barely cope. Yes drinks are pricy but the orange juice is freshly squeezed there and then. Sheelina a yogurt drink is amazing! Be careful what you order as the portions are enormous. I always feel guilty as we cannot clear more than half the food on one course. The complimentary soup is to die for!! If you're on Esgware Road go! Be warned after sunset it is busy!

I visit here once a month. I dont turn up for the service and smiles, this isnt that kind of restaurant. This is the type of place that you would wander into on the streets of Jordan/Egypt/Iraq. Lovely food, I recommend the number 19 or 31, I order either and am never disappointed. For two ppl, £30 will cover starter, 2 drinks and 2 mains, cant go wrong. Only issue is parking, as there isnt much

I really wanted to write a good review, because this placed seemed very promising. However the service/waiters were blase, the food was burnt and the restaurant was quite frankly dirty. Although the food that was not burnt did taste okay, but it was nothing different to the numerous other restaurants on Edgware Road. What particulary let me down was the £4.95 they charged me for a 1.5L bottle of water (pic uploaded)!!! Which wasn't even from a brand that you get in the supermarket. Truly scandalous. I will never be returning. And I sincerely advise anyone contemplating on visiting to look elsewhere if intent on eating at edgware road.

I was invited by an old friend while in short visit to London from Toronto . I enjoyed the north Iraqi kebab and tanoor bread . Though I think this place is lacking any hygene or cleanness standard. The owner want to move all the atmosphere of Irebil restaurant back in 80. Toilet is no to go as it will lose your appetite to eat after .

Recommended by a friend, worst experience ever!! Requested shoulder of lamb, which to our disgust found a fish bone, the chief said it was a bone. Then found another fish bone, confronted the waiter again he looked baffled and decided to give us back £4 from the overal meal which cost us £64 for 4 people.Rubbish service, waiters need to smile and actually listen to the orders and maybe inform the customers what is available and not bring the incorrect order. Still confused as to how two fish bones where found in the shoulder of lamb with rice. Put us off the food, and they didn't do anything about rectifying the problem. Not worth it, and overall a disgusting place, wouldn't recomend it.

If you have ever been to Arbil then this will be femiliar if you have never been to Kurdistan then take a seat and sample the various dishes that they offer here and around where several Kurdish restaurants serve foods from the different Kurdish regions . This place is our favorite it has an air of simplicity about it yet the food is feast.....from the minute you sit till the last sip of your tea it's food and food and more food. Portions are big , service is quick and it's very very busy .

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. It was a terrible experience and embarrassed my friend who suggested it. This is a genuine review of our experience, I don't usually leave reviews but this time felt I simply had to.I'm not really a huge fan of Edgeware Rd restaurants (usually overpriced tourist rubbish, better places elsewhere in London) but attended this place on a recommendation of a friend for dinner. The restaurant is more a cafe than a formal restaurant, which is fair enough, but I expected this to be reflected in the price. The quality of the food was poor. Very bland, and poorly executed and not as described. I had a mixed grill for which the kofte rather than being a skewer, was broken as it looks like it had fallen apart and it was just dumped in a pile on the plate. The 'tandoori' chicken (strange option for an Iraqi restaurant!?!) was bland and comprised of 5 SMALL pieces of chicken. Worst of all was the lamb skewer, which had 2 pieces of lamb and was substituted for 3 pieces of cheap liver (eeugh!) instead. The salad was limp and not fresh and looked like it had been sat out all day in the heat, or was left over from the day before. We also ordered tea. Imagine our shock when a TINY pot was presented to us to share between the 4 of us. We opened the lid of the pot to find that it was only half full!!! Now I understand that the glasses are small so the teapot will also be small but there wasn't even enough tea to fill the 4 tiny glasses. Ridiculous. We ordered 2x 2ltr bottles of water because THEY DO NOT SERVE TAP WATER - a legal obligation, I understand. Shock and horror when we saw the bill and were charged £9.90 for 2 brand less plastic bottles of WARM water, that would have cost 50 pence in a corner shop...£9.90!!!. They didn't even have ice when we asked for some.Service was terrible. Both the meal and our drinks were cleared away before we had fully finished. We weren't even asked if we had finished, waitresses just started to piled the plates on top of each other and then just offered to hand them back! When you requested any thing the waiters and waitresses just dumped things on your table and walked away, so you then had to wait to ask someone else or try catch someone else's eyes if you needed anything else. Finally when we asked for the bill we were told the restaurant is CASH ONLY! Great, we then had to go to nearby ATMs to withdraw cash to pay the bill. Annoying that some restaurants still do this, not least because it allows them to avoid paying tax! HMRC please take note!£95 for 4 main courses, tea and water -we had no Alcohol!Strangely, despite the above experience, the restaurant seemed reasonably busy, so I have reflected this in the atmosphere score, -simply to be fair.

just going up to London tomorrow and hope to have time to visit this place again. Happened on these reviews which should not be believed this place is amazing ! on arrival you get a bowl of lentil soup and fresh pickles which are both fabulous. Then first time there you have to try the kofta kebabs which are sublime the best I have had anywhere in the world. The meat is so light and fluffy I don't know how they do it. This all comes with fresh flat bread and nice salad and washed down with fresh yoghurt drink. All for about a tenner (+drinks no alcohol here) I cant think of any better value restaurant anywhere, All their food is great have tried a few things on the menu. I have to stay near here for work once a year for 4 days and normally go here every day that's how good it is. The area is full of kebab places just go to this one. The area is a bit boring but very central and its really well worth the taxi ride !

we had planned to eat at Dar Marrakech opposite but the lighting was terribly dim, so we thought we'd try Arbil out. The food was fantastic, they were very generous on the portion size and gave free salad and naan. There were 3 of us and we bought the mix grill for two, it was more than enough! I even took some away because we couldn't finish it all. The staff were lovely. I'd recommend it to all.
