Delicious fish supper, as always, from Antons. Friendly staff and very quick service tonight 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hugely disappointing! I suppose in this cost of living crisis the £10 price for a fish supper is just about acceptable. What isn’t acceptable , however, is charging £10 and waiting 20 minutes (for what I thought was going to be freshly fried fish) to eventually be given fish that had been sitting for the whole time in the section above the frier - and, guess what, it was at best luke warm. Nope, not good enough. Will not be back!!

We have use Anton’s few times,and the last 3 times take very long. We try again today after months, but more bad than never. We make an order at 16:50 and we receive the mwssage from just eat at 17:10. We wait till 18:20 before give a call,and the person in the phone,say: sorry your order is the next. 18:25 we received other message,and tell: your order in on way. We leave just 5 minutes from Anton’s. But 18:55. We decide give other call,the girl tell as: we are short stuff,your order is with you in 5 minutes. Finally arrive at 19:05. Cold!!! Very disappointed .

Ordered a delivery - first time for 2+ years- due to ridiculous wait, and after over an hour called to see where order at. Was told being made up. Reminded for second time house difficult to find, assured by shop they would pass on instructions to driver. A further 25 minutes and driver calls- can’t find us. Husbands ends up going out to find driver!!!!! Food Luke warm, called shop and raised this. Not even an apology!!!!! Most of it went in the bin! Crap service and shop couldn’t care less about customers. Guess I won’t be ordering again. 😡

Every order tastes brilliant, wouldn't order anywhere else. Selection and price is good too. This has become our favourite takeaway.

I have used them many times, usually fish. I had a hamburger supper last night and cannot thank them enough! Wow!they delivered earlier than expected and the food was superb. Go Antons, I will be back xx

Good sized portions with lovely fish. Staff friendly and efficient. Love the fact that you always get two pieces of fish.

Visited the above establishment for some hot food and I must admit was very substandard. Have since tried Frydays that opened nearby and is first class. Will not be back to Anton's

Appalling wait for delivery tonight. Already waited 75 minutes as ordered and paid via Just Eat app . Called shop, told waiting on driver returning. Had to ask to be called if food not on way in next 15 minutes. Shop called 15 minutes later to say driver not back. So choice of wait god knows how much longer - at 90 minutes by this point - or go and collect after waiting and paying for 90 minutes before. Seriously narked. Won’t be using Just Eat. Again- was my first use- nor Anton’s either as clearly unreliable!!!! After all that they refunded our £2 delivery charge!!!! Wow! Such an apology! Didn’t even refund my 50p card charge!!! Food was ok once we collected. Not overly warm. Won’t personally be using again. Spend your money somewhere else.

What's happening to this place. Used to be a good fish supper. An hour and twenty minutes after ordering they couldn't give a monkeys . Not good at all

Just visited this place for the 2nd time and the last should have learnt the firùpst time so ordered single fish single sausage and kids meal £1bottle redcola 39p in a shop and a picked £13.25. Girl said you can wait in your car while it's getting cooked.I though that was dear for single dinners no chips. I confronted owner or young girl asked if the prices on the board were correct told yes well if that's the case you have charged me £6 for a single fish bearing in mind she said a full supper was £7 wtf. well the lady started to stutter and tell me that the way they do it is they charge £3 perpiece of fish now you get 2 bits of fish in a supper that costs roughly £5/£6 any way so what they have tried to do is charge me for a full supper and not give me chips ism gob smacked how blaiting you can be she clearly knows that that is a ridiculous price so I ended up getting 2 scabby bit of fish that was all better mini bit of fish I hope if you read this you should be ashamed ANTONS thats day light robbery i think you sgould explain to a customer first that its £3 per fish thats supposed to be that price for 2 bits any way and it was vile yet again but for quickness we had to pull in get my family a meal before a long drive back home to Glasgow I hope you read this reviewers count your change PREPARE TO BE ROBBED OF YOUR MONEY look at that pic would you pay £6 for 2 bits of that no chips hate hate hate businesses like that,they think they can charge disgusting prices for inedible flood get it sorted

This chip shop is not selling haddock or even cod for that matter, and charging full rates. This requires investigation by the relevant authority, as the white fish being sold, in my opinion, is a cheap alternative and should be advertised as such.

4 members of staff but only one dishing out food. Chipshop full of waiting customers but the server is too busy fulfilling the delivery orders even to ask what these waiting customers what they want. I walked out with nothing after waiting 15 minutes. AVOID

Always fresh and warm service good great variety of food and also do home delivery service as well as phoning to order and having it ready for pick up on arrival

Not a meal I have very often but when it’s time for a treat the best place to go for fish and chips, sausage suppers, fritters and all things battered and deep fried is definitely Anton’s - fresh, crisp and delicious!

Placed my order at 18.30 to be told it would be delivered at 19.40. I then phoned at 19.50 to be told there was still orders in front of mine and the driver was still out on other deliveries! The staff never even apologised for this inconvenience and I end up cancelling my order ! Will never order from here again this hasn't been the first time this has happened!

Used to order from here quite a lot but gave up as they always seem to not have the thing you want available be it gravy, smoked sausage or a roll. They always forget to put something you've ordered into your order which again is just bad practice. The chips are always soggy and very oily and the service is just very poor.

What aload of rubbish ,the staff are needing to learn how to smile and need to get a personality ,I stay near this rubbish place if it wasnt for my husband wanting the blackpudding I would not step foot in it ,they bark orders at the young staff its actually disgusting ,the girl put rolls In a to small a bag apparently and she got told off in front of the customers, which really I would have told her where to go ,they dont know what orders they have rang up on the till.,or what orders are for delivery ,goto the "plaice to be "just down the road much much better .

Very poor service . The staff are extremely ill mannered . They can't take a simple order .We will not return to the place again

Este es, de lejos, el mejor lugar en Kilmarnock. chippie El personal siempre ha sido amable con nosotros y nos tengo mucho más que añadir sobre ellos. Normalmente orden vía a comer y elegir la orden de recogida en unos 20 minutos ya que vivimos bastante cerca.

Estás cómodamente sentado. Para aquellos fuera de Escocia un pescado (o cualquier elemento preparado de una tienda chip) con patatas fritas es una cena, un solo pescado es uno sin patatas fritas. Suena sencillo. Así ¿qué es lo que pasa cuando te pide una cena especial, dos peces, dos salchichas de collops sin pasta (pero la señora que nos atendió preguntó su colega para cocinar una sola salchicha sin pasta) y una individual de pescado. Respuesta 1 porción de patatas fritas, dos salchichas caseras, pescado frito, empanadas dos dos y dos peces abollados collops. Esperamos que nos dieron, nos quedamos sorprendidos y educada. Cualquiera anteriormente es un largo Alfie establecido revuelto en las afueras de kilmarnock. Que yo sepa el único chippy hacer empanadas pescado frito en cualquier lugar. Esta noche la comida estaba bien las patatas fritas estaban bien, pero podría haber sido más crujiente, el pescado especial era bueno con la capa, pero por desgracia el pescado empanadas le faltaba sabor. Esperamos que la dirección el sabor y lo crujiente, tienen algo único a celebrar. Ha sido muchos años desde la última vez que comimos aquí podría hacer mejor y ha hecho en el pasado.

We live close to this "establishment" but hardly ever go there. The owner believes she has got a carte blanche on this area (which she does) so she can play any card she likes.

La comida es siempre fresco. El personal es rápido y eficiente, mientras que lograron permanecer educado durante la hora punta. Hay un montón de opciones para las tiendas de chip en Kilmarnock y Antons es mi primera cada vez.

The oil is always clean and the foot tastes like it's supposed to, unlike some places. Staff are friendly and helpful despite other reviews. I've just made myself hungry writing this. It's a tie between a special fish and their exceptional steak pies. Whatever I order, I know it's going to be freshly cooked and taste great. If only they would employ some good looking delivery drivers!

Contry to the last review I found the staff to be most helpful and the food to be excellent, I would have no problem recommending Antons. :-)

Avoid at all costs. Service is terrible. Staff are very cheeky and arrogant. If you want a bag of chips you will wait at least 15 minutes at all times. Stay away

Arrogant and cheeky manager, waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery only to be sent the wrong food, phoned up and the manager needs some lessons In customer service biggest waste of £17 I have ever spent for cold food and wrong order most of it ended up in the bin (poor bin) will never go back!!!!
