Antonio's Deli in Falkirk

Fabulous menu , I opted for a traditional breakfast, and a cannolli to finish.quality produce and fantastic service, will definitely be back .

I tried Antonio’s Deli for the first time today and was seated in the far corner and was left for 30 minutes without asking if we were ready to order food or drinks. I had to get the attention of the staff to ask to make a drinks order, when our waters arrived they were in dirty brown marked glasses which were sent back. We then ordered food, when it arrived I received an extra portion of chips that I did not order. The “crispy chicken burger” i received was not as described on the menu, the brioche bun looked like it had been through the wars and the burger was no bigger than a chicken nugget which was cut through the middle, laid on top of the other and overcooked. The breadcrumbs on the burger to make it a “crispy” chicken burger, was that hard it was not possible for me to chew through it. The burger was meant to come with chipotle sauce but I received a small amount of plain mayonnaise instead. I also ordered cheese fries, these arrived in a deep bowl full of oil with a sprinkle of cheese on top. The chips were soaked in oil and I did not even eat these. My friend ordered the eggs florentine and what was meant to be “poached eggs” were not cooked correctly, leaving my friend feeling unwell. I was honestly shocked at the hygiene levels and the state of the food that was served. If environment health was to step into this deli they would be shut down. I will not be back. If I could put the review up as 0 stars I would.

Un caffè fantastico! An extremely human and dog friendly super cosy & comfy cafe. It was our first visit today as we only discovered last week that it was dog-friendly, but we will be back before long. Brilliant coffee and cake deal for £5.50. Our dog was spoiled for attention by the waitresses then the cook came out and gave her a bowl of sliced sausage!

Enjoyed coffee and cake, will ask for hotter coffee next time, will try a lunch at next visit, dog friendly, Breeze got a sausage, very kind.

Do not miss out on this absolute treat of a culinary experience. We had a perfect morning roll, beautifully poached eggs royal presented expertly. Delivered on time and fresh. Very impressed.

Fine, had one or two gluten free marked items on the menu. Avocado was a bit weird.

On our travels to Glasgow, we stopped at Antonio’s Cafe in Falkirk. We could not be more pleased with the atmosphere, the friendly service, the cleanliness and the exquisite tasting food - so wholesome and tasteful! If you’re looking for a tranquil spot for a great coffee and a scrumptious bite, head onto Antonio’s as I believe you won’t be disappointed. The friendly staff, Miriam and Nicolette, as well as chef Scott truly bring warmth and top service to the entire experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇦🇺

Its been a while since I last updated a review for Antonios so whats new. Over the last few months there has been a change in some of the staff, something that happens regularly in cafe's like this one. Well the staff are all friendly and very good at what they do, and the fried egg rolls are still as good. There are more cakes available these days and they are very good. OK, the prices have had to rise inline with everywhere else. You can't blame the managment for that, with the raw material and energy costs and increasing staff costs, its going to happen. Its still got its cosy homely small business feel and I would recomend it any time whether your shopping or waiting for a train, Grahamston station which is just round the coner, and the coffee is still hot and strong. Whats not to like.

Absolutely shocking experience here today, food order was taken & waitress did not know any details of the meals which were on the menu. Food arrived & was totally wrong breakfast order & panini which came was freezing cold. Had to remind them twice about 2x chips which had been ordered. ‘Nutella’ milkshake on menu however were advised this was just a chocolate milkshake (even though chocolate is a separate option). Breakfast that came consisted of avocado which was clearly past its best (was brown) and panini was completely inedible - as if it’s been pre made and kept in a fridge then stuck on a plate. Breakfast was all just chucked on a plate, awful presentation. Asked waitress to take away panini due to it being disgusting and wasn’t offered anything in its place, just for it to be reheated which was unacceptable. Waitress blaming chefs for food issues, massive red flags. Then paid bill which was £38, including the non-eaten panini, no apologies for disgusting food or service. Completely overpriced and awful food/service, would not recommend.

After been to to cafe on several occasions due the great food and service we had before. We were disappointed on the meal served to my wife, which had over done eggs and raw spinach on the plate. This was sent back and some time later she was asked for an alternative, fifteen minutes later no sign of this alternative, had appeared. We left and went o pay the bill and found the staff not caring and pleading the cafe was busy, this is never an excuse sadly we will not return.

Waited ages for menu waited ages for food ( toast and eggs) toast and plate were stone cold then was almost finished before coffee finally came out…. Waitress said they were busy with just eat orders !!!!!!! So to summarise go into this place wait for them to deal with just eat before you get your order ….. wasn’t impressed

The coffee was lovely. I had a tray bake which was a bit dry. The icing on top very sweet. My husband had a canoli which was tasty. Very busy coffee shop which is good to see but very warm no open windows.

Excellent food, everything was top notch & plentiful. Great Deli & Bakery. Focaccia sandwich with Parma ham, delicious, all day breakfast and avocado toast with salmon & feta absolutely fantastic!

We ordered 2 sets of breakfast plate (traditional and veggie) 2 sets of pancakes (nutella and fresh fruits) and cheezy fries, everything was delicious. They have a huge selection of desserts too we are so glad we found this place on our way to the kelpies

Will never go back after our visit on 10/8 3 of us ordered panini's, one was cheese/ham and when it arrived it had tuna on the bottom,I took this back to THE MANAGER who was extremely rude and just kep smirking and was told I should have mentioned my granddaughter had a fish allergy!! No way is that right as we eat out out loads and never have to mention the allergy when ordering something that doesn't include fish! This was totally unacceptable as the fault was due to negligence in the kitchen!!! but her and her colleague were totally agressive blaming us and not once was an apology given!!! I asked what was happening and she said she had spoken to the OWNER, who never even showed face! I told her I wanted a print out if what I had ordered and she told me I would have to wait till she was ready, I told her so much for the customers always right, and was told the customer is not always right!! I was treated terribly by an incident that was totally no fault of mine, and not once did she apologise which is very bad customer service, we also ordered a latte which never appeared, and was told I should have told them, again no apology given, staff in this place need training on customer service and manners, totally disgusted and will never be back!!

Friendly staff, great food and particularly good coffee, the floret in top of mine was perfect 👍🏻 We visit here regularly and always have the same welcome, consistent quality of food and coffee.

Love it here for breakfast, service can be a bit slow sometimes but the food is always worth it. The full breakfast is delicious and the staff are happy to add or change ingredients to suit your tastes which I'm always grateful for! Coffee is also class here. Would be nice to try other foods but the breakfast options are so good I've never tried anything else 🤣

Absolutely perfect. Quality, portion size and presentation of food were excellent. Great value for money. Best in Falkirk. Service also excellent, friendly happy, very pleasant staff.

The service was the worst we have ever had in Scotland, too many customers not enough staff, served coffee after 20 minute wait, which was cold, had to ask where our food was after another 20mins and the answer was we are too busy, we choose to pay for coffee we had ordered and drank and left, certainly won’t be back

Has been a go to place for lunch in Falkirk for a while but has become painfully slow. We were in for Father's day lunch but waited almost an hour without food. The coffee and tea we had were finished and/or cold and still no food. The couple behind us waited 25 mins just to give their order and weren't best pleased either. After 40 mins we asked when it would be ready and were told was being made but 15 mins later we went to the counter to find that it wasn't even started! Eventually left without anything and went to McDonald's as we were by then starving! Food is normally very good but the service has become awful and is so, so slow. Not everyone has a couple of hours to order and eat lunch! Time to find somewhere else!

My husband and I have been looking for the right spot for our weekly breakfast get together. We have certainly now found it with Antonio's Deli. The food is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the serving team. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast choices to satisfy everyone. To top of such a fabulous breakfast I can highly recommend trying the cakes and pastries. They really do taste as good as they look.

Great place, food brilliant and its really good value for money. They also have awesome cakes. I eat here at least twice a month

Lovely food and service recommended

Must admit I am fairly disappointed by the service we received yesterday. I have been here plenty times before but after yesterdays debacle I don’t think I will return. As it was a warm day, we sat outside and went in to order our breakfast. A cappuccino, a hot chocolate, a coke, 2 pancakes with bacon, and an eggs Benedict and paid when ordering (big mistake) We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, at this point I informed the girl at the counter that we had been waiting a while. She told us that it would just be coming. We waited another 10 minutes before she brought out the wrong drinks. The food then came a few minutes later, which in itself I cannot fault. The food was tasty. Another 5 minutes pass and the waitress brings out the hot chocolate, less cream and marshmallows, which we had paid for, and informed the waitress of. I asked at this point for a copy of the receipt, which never arrived even though we sat there for another 15 minutes finishing our drinks. Unfortunately this poor service was a huge let down on the delis part.

Simply the worst service ever. We were sat in the walkway with everyone, including staff, passing kicking or resting on my chair as they went by which was irritating to say the least. We ordered 2 panini and chips and waiting over 45 minutes for the food. When my mother was eventually given her panini, the bacon was undercooked & fatty and the panini was not toasted. I took it to the counter explained that the bacon was underdone, that the item wasn’t toasted and that this was unacceptable considering we had waited 45 minutes for the food. The girl at the counter, said that you only had 1 chef on today which was the reason for the delay. I don’t think this needs to be the customers problem I went back to eat, mum decided she didn’t want a replacement, I went back up and said never mind she doesn’t want another one. Which the girl then yelled through to the kitchen! We were sitting at the table eating, when another girl comes over to clear mums empty chip bowl (the first clearing of plates I had seen whilst people were at the table - everyone else’s tables were cleared after they left) she said everything ok with your meal? I said no we sent the BLT back. She said yea I heard about that. it was clear she wasn’t looking to resolve so I asked the question, if you know everything wasn’t ok why did you ask? I can only assume the colleague was over in ‘defence’ of the chef. Although I was direct and clearly unhappy, I was not aggressive or abusive towards the staff. However she accused us of being rude, she then falsely accused my mum of swearing at staff when she hadn’t even spoken to anyone and finishes off her rant with ‘my boss said I can be as rude to you as I like cause you were rude to staff. ‘ I am not a believer in the customer is always right but surely nobody would give authorisation for a member of the team to be openly rude and argumentative in a busy restaurant. I had suggested that she leave the table and let us eat in peace and she said it’s me who works here if anyone’s leaving it’s you. I was simply trying to defuse the situation and she took offence to that aswell! I asked for a number to speak to a manager however the chef came back to give me an email address. She then asked us to leave the premises. The chef made a massive fuss about serving me as I was ‘scaring and intimidating’ the servers but a young girl served me politely - she did not seem one bit bothered by my complaint. It felt a lot like the waitress from the table and chef were trying to make something out of nothing! This was a minor complaint blown out of proportion. The colleague who accuse my mum swearing had no idea of what context the alleged swearing was said in or to who or why when I questioned her story. Now that’s because it never happened. My belief is that I have upset the staff from the beginning as I sent back a plastic cup asking for glass instead. I did comment that drinking from a plastic cup was for children. A glass was unceremoniously slammed on the table as the waitress walked by 5 minutes later - it was dirty and smelt horrible. We didn’t use it. Shame to leave such a negative review for a local cafe. We will never be back

Incredible breakfast here at Antonio's. Food is always 10/10. Particularly the eggs benedict. Always very busy which is a great sign, also love the see that when the servers are busy the chef will come out to deliver food to help- great team effort. Always a delight coming here.

Came in for breakfast with my partner and young infant girl. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was amazing! We had the eggs benadict and I had the classic breakfast, honestly lovely wee place. Would give higher stars if I could.

Popped in for lunch, there is a good range to choose from and we all enjoyed our meals, it wasn’t overly expensive the only downside is that the service was a little slow but hopefully that will improve when I go back to try the delicious looking cakes.

A wonderful Italian cafe just outside the centre of Falkirk. A friendly atmosphere greets you when you enter, with treats for the eye to welcome you. Both in terms of the decor, that at the same time evokes nostalgic and a modern feel. The food and drink are a treat. The menu offers you a selection of dining options to be explored, though your eyes are pulled to the fresh, home made selection of baked goods on offer. All reasonably priced 😁 Can not wait to return :)

Absolutely beautiful lunch. My partner had The Italian Job burger and relished every bite. I had the Veggie breakfast and finished the whole thing. Even the toast was top notch. Service was really friendly without being intrusive. The café itself is gorgeous inside with modern decor and nice touches without too much clutter. Parking is easy because of the nearby retail park car park. Would absolutely recommend. :)

During the last visit I had focaccia with salmon with tasted just like those I had in Rome. My partner had steak panini and it was full of flavour, that's my order for the next time. Kid's Mac and cheese was huge with big size of fries too. Their coffee is always great, I'm never disappointed there. Place can get quite crowded but it's really cosy.

Best coffee in Falkirk. Canolli to die for. Friendly and efficient service. Place is always busy which is a testament to how good it is.

We popped in today for a bite to eat & we were not disappointed- I had the lovely carrot & coriander soup with delicious foccacia bread, so fresh, lovely & hot on a miserable day!! Others had panini and a portion of chips to share - delicious! Great value too, will be back

As soon as I walked in, I felt that this was a friendly place. I had pancakes with mozzarella, prosciutto and basil, which was wonderful. This was followed by amazing pistachio cannoli.

Antonioios grahams road Falkirk used to be amazing but appears to have changed hands .The food was not well presented and the standard was very very low , my husband had a panini on tuna it was very salty and I tasted and could not eat it was awful compared to previous owners ,my daughter had chips and cheese which was very greasy and very cheap tasting cheese ,it was so awful she did not eat much .Latte and hot chocolate were not good as usually hot chocolate would come with whipped cream and tomato ketchup was not even reddish seemed to be watered down .My husband would not let me complain he just wanted to get out so he paid £19.45 which was appalling.Even the menus were very poor to understand and ripped what was very tacky experience overpriced .

Appears to have changed hands since last time we visited. Limited menu for us. No sandwiches, baked potato etc for lunch. My Panini was poorly presented although tasted ok apart from my pet hate of onions not peeled properly with the hard chewy skin included. The waiter was rather keen to remove plates before my wife had finished, Apart from that the cakes on sale looked excellent. A touch over priced for the fare on offer.

Great little cafe - order something authentic, close your eyes and your suddenly transported to a busy family back street cafe in Milan or New York.

Amazing. Tasty food!!! Exemplary service by super friendly and dear people. They made me feel at home. I asked Raffaelle for suggestions on all the choices and it was the best thing I could do because he suggested all the best to me. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Had a lovely lunch with my friend Mandy and catch up. Chicken burger was amazing with chips and side salad everything freshly made. Will just have a snack for my tea tonight. Friendly service as well. Xx

We visited this deli as we were in the area. I'd 100% recommend it. The staff are pleasant and friendly, we arrived a little later than our booking but found our table had been kept back, and it was all set for us arriving. The deli is a little small so does get busy, however it gives it a cosy homey feeling. We ordered nutella pancakes and full scottish breakfast. The only thing the keep in mind is that the pancakes are COVERED in nuttela, so they're difficult to find. Just ask for Nutella on the side 😋

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent menu and lovely selection of treats available. My wife and I had a morning roll and coffee with a raspberry danish. We will definitely be coming back for a lunch in the future.

Used to be excellent but last two visits were very disappointing. I think it might be under new management or have new owners. Ordered 2 portions of fish and chips and one macaroni cheese and chips. The fish and chips consisted of a square of frozen battered chopped fish and low quality frozen chips. The macaroni tasted like there had been mould on the cheese. I couldn't eat any of it. WeI thought a staff member would have asked why it was returned uneaten but they didn't seem bothered. Also there was no garnish with either meal. Definitely won't be back.

If you are looking for a good breakfast with good coffee this is a place to go to. Sausages were beautiful and staff are really nice.

Tasty, hot coffee, fantastic full breakfast, my wife had the French toast with maple and fruit which looked really nice, too. Staff lovely, really can't fault this place!

This was a firm favourite when in Falkirk and we now travel back from out with the area to visit! It’s that good. Amazing friendly staff, outstanding prices and selection with some of the best coffees in the are! Try the Chai Latte!! Out of this world! Keep it up Antonio’s!

A recent upgrade has restored antonis as my go to place for amazing food and cooffee. The cakes are always fantastic and staff are quick, helpful and attentive. Wonderful establishment.

A lovely wee deli, definitely worth a visit. Staff are so friendly, the food is amazing and I would absolutely recommend the foccacia - it was fabulous. The coffee and cakes are also amazing. Will definitely be coming back for the great food and fantastic hospitality

long story short, had to cancel order and return to pay for the coffee and child's drink, I had £10 cash in my car so returned to pay, but then was told as the fish had been cooked I would need to pay for that too. the bill was £11.52, I informed the man I wasn't coming back into town today but would hand it in during the week thinking he would say "forget it" but he didn't. very disappointed with their attitude it was very embarrassing and I will never be back

A true gem in Falkirk. Eat here at least once a week and the staff are amazing. The prices are great, food is fresh and the coffee is one of the best in Falkirk. Try the chai latte! Out of this world! Keep it up!

Well worth dropping in for coffee or quick bite to eat, everything is lovely & there Italian pastries are superb. The lace is quite small, but the staff are lovely & friendly Worth just dropping in just to buy & take some of the pastries home for later. Big thumbs up from me.. 👍👍

Lovely place to eat and have a coffee! Staff go the extra mile and are so cheery. Any food I've had so far has been cooked to perfection, nicely presented and tasty! Huge selection of cakes and their Cannoli in particular are delicious. Highly recommend

Honestly the best place in the whole of Falkirk district. The food is impeccable, the menu is completely different from anywhere else, with food that's simple but full of flavour. Literally once they got a small mistake in my order and they could not have been more courteous about it. I'm so glad somewhere like this exists through here. Being from Glasgow, there is not many places though falkirk since moving here. Pretty much the only place I'll order from is here

Myself and my friends visited today for lunch, the four of us. We came in just after 4pm and we were told the place would close in an hour from now which was fine by us as we didn’t want a lot. The young polish lady was really friendly and pleasant and the service was very nice, the place had a good atmosphere and we all would return in future.

Visited the Cafe for lunch today. Has been refurbished since lockdown, very pleasant.But very disappointed with the seating. I felt tables too close together. Also nobody took details for track and trace.

Anywhere that gives free samples when your misses is being indecisive gets 5 stars. Very polite staff, fairly priced.

I really like this cafe, but we visited today for breakfast and the service was shocking! We waited ages for the food, barely acknowledged and this was down to JustEat orders that they were dealing with! And when I received my breakfast the poached eggs were like rocks and had to send it back! We won’t be coming back because of this I’m afraid 👎

I’ve been looking to try here for a while and so booked a table online. When we arrived, we were told they had no bookings that day but we could choose a table which wasn’t a problem. We ordered our food which arrived promptly and was actually very good. The focaccia was delicious. However, the service was very poor. I’m not one for wanting people standing over me but no one even came to check our food was ok and plates were just put in front of us We sat for quite a while with our plates in front of us once finished before we got the attention of someone to order some cakes. Again, the cakes were delicious but service very poor. Regular customers were getting great service but we felt very much on the sidelines. It’s a shame as food was great but based on service I wouldn’t go back as I didn’t feel comfortable.

Visited for lunch with my wife. The quality of the food is excellent. Especially the Strawberry Danish which is exceptionally good. (I believe made at their sister cafe in Perth) and probably one of the best cakes I have had. Service is also very good. It is definitely no greasy spoon and priced fairly for the quality offered. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Had a visit to Falkirk with a few hours to kill in the morning and decided to visit Antonio's deli. Such a pleasant experience and the staff were really lovely. I asked if my veg breakfast could be cooked on a cleaned pan etc which they were more than happy to do even though they could have refused but didn't. The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast was great, likely not need anything to eat til the evening it was quite alot or maybe I need to start going out for breakfast more. Welcoming, accomodating, members of staff and amazing breakfast and coffee what else could one ask for from this cafe. Set me up for the day.
