Antonio's Deli in Falkirk

Usually very good, but food was cold. Chips had clearly been sitting for a while. Macaroni was cold too.

Ordered a salmon focaccia and it got delivered without the salmon. Ridiculous.

Shocked at the poor level of welcoming service, having travelled here based upon reviews, I for sure will not recommend nor return. Your bio states a historic cafe in Falkirk... Nahhh pinocchio.. pull the other leg.. Lastly if you close at 16:00 as you stated when you told me to leave at 16:05 .. update your profile, as it states 17:00 .. stop wasting patrons time and money visiting your mediocre establishment.

Food came essentially room temperature. The steak was cold in some parts. Chips were very standard. Red velvet cake was like eating sand. Sub par.

A massive shame that I'm having to give this place a 1 star review. Today was the fifth time I've visited Antonio's and every previous time the staff have been lovely, a little bit slow, but very polite and the food has been brilliant. However, today I went as I always eat here when visiting Falkirk and I was shown a table. The restaurant was quite busy but not overly busy and there was 3 waitresses for maybe 15 tables. We were given a menu and after about 10 minutes we were actively looking around for someone to take our order. The young girl who had showed us to our table kept passing us but was too busy cleaning other tables around us and just ignored us. She spent ten full minutes cleaning two small tables of maybe 2 cups and plates per one. After waiting for 25 minutes I got up and went to the till asking if I could just order here and was told rudely 'to sit down and wait as she'll be two minutes'. I just walked out after that interaction and I sadly will not be returning.

The owners are very uninterested in talking to people. Very arrogant. Front staff are nice. Long waits for everyone.

Met up with Friends for Lunch, not been here before. From the time we sat down it was anightmare, got drinks ordered. Ordered food I asked no mustard or Mayonnaise. Asked for bowl off chips. Hr later no food but my 2 friends got there's. Eventually got mine,with Mustard and Mayonnaise, although I said no. Still no chips. When chips did arrive. They were cold and terrible. Will never be back. We paid £40. Hard cash in these days we are all retired. My first revi on here as I don't review. But really this is disgusting way to treat customers. If you offered £100 compensation, or free meals for all I would not take this. This is how disgusted I am. End off

We ordered the steak panini and eggs Benedict - both were really good. Defo recommend.

Antonio's has become a firm favourite with my wife and I. The wait staff are friendly personable and professional. We always feel welcome, even if they are rushed off their feet. The food is always excellent. Hearty and prepared with care. Some brunch places serve up greasy food, but this has never been the case for us at Antonio's. Quality ingredients and generous portions every time. Nice coffee too. There are also loads of sweet-treats if that's your thing. It's not the cheapest, but the portion sizes and quality make it great value.

Cannot complain. Asked to customise my order and got it exactly the way I like. Pancakes are great, kids and myself love them. Size of the portions along with prices are reasonable. I was there several times and just decided to actually read bad reviews and feel like some of them are for different planet. At least the ppl who wrote them 🤭

I tried Antonio’s Deli for the first time today and was seated in the far corner and was left for 30 minutes without asking if we were ready to order food or drinks. I had to get the attention of the staff to ask to make a drinks order, when our waters arrived they were in dirty brown marked glasses which were sent back. We then ordered food, when it arrived I received an extra portion of chips that I did not order. The “crispy chicken burger” i received was not as described on the menu, the brioche bun looked like it had been through the wars and the burger was no bigger than a chicken nugget which was cut through the middle, laid on top of the other and overcooked. The breadcrumbs on the burger to make it a “crispy” chicken burger, was that hard it was not possible for me to chew through it. The burger was meant to come with chipotle sauce but I received a small amount of plain mayonnaise instead. I also ordered cheese fries, these arrived in a deep bowl full of oil with a sprinkle of cheese on top. The chips were soaked in oil and I did not even eat these. My friend ordered the eggs florentine and what was meant to be “poached eggs” were not cooked correctly, leaving my friend feeling unwell. I was honestly shocked at the hygiene levels and the state of the food that was served. If environment health was to step into this deli they would be shut down. I will not be back. If I could put the review up as 0 stars I would.

Un caffè fantastico! An extremely human and dog friendly super cosy & comfy cafe. It was our first visit today as we only discovered last week that it was dog-friendly, but we will be back before long. Brilliant coffee and cake deal for £5.50. Our dog was spoiled for attention by the waitresses then the cook came out and gave her a bowl of sliced sausage!

Enjoyed coffee and cake, will ask for hotter coffee next time, will try a lunch at next visit, dog friendly, Breeze got a sausage, very kind.

On our travels to Glasgow, we stopped at Antonio’s Cafe in Falkirk. We could not be more pleased with the atmosphere, the friendly service, the cleanliness and the exquisite tasting food - so wholesome and tasteful! If you’re looking for a tranquil spot for a great coffee and a scrumptious bite, head onto Antonio’s as I believe you won’t be disappointed. The friendly staff, Miriam and Nicolette, as well as chef Scott truly bring warmth and top service to the entire experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇦🇺

Ordered at 11.15 and my food never came! Was waiting til half 1 until I got a notification saying my food had been delivered. Tried phoning several times and no reply from restaurant. Absolutely shocking service.

Its been a while since I last updated a review for Antonios so whats new. Over the last few months there has been a change in some of the staff, something that happens regularly in cafe's like this one. Well the staff are all friendly and very good at what they do, and the fried egg rolls are still as good. There are more cakes available these days and they are very good. OK, the prices have had to rise inline with everywhere else. You can't blame the managment for that, with the raw material and energy costs and increasing staff costs, its going to happen. Its still got its cosy homely small business feel and I would recomend it any time whether your shopping or waiting for a train, Grahamston station which is just round the coner, and the coffee is still hot and strong. Whats not to like.

I do enjoy Antonio's cafe, unfortunately, I ordered a pollo tricolour focaccia and got the pollo tricolour salad instead. When I looked at the receipt there is no way for the restaurant to differentiate between the items because the names are the same (prices too) so it's no one's fault but it was a shame.

Macaroni was served like dry pasta, no sauce whatsoever on it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend getting the macaroni

requested fried egg to be cooked over easy but it came with a very hard yolk. also asked for brown sauce, didn't get any. the eggs florentine were delicious as were the chips.

Ordered the French toast with Bacon and it only came with fruit, bit disappointing especially as I paid £9.50 for it.

I ordered French toast with fresh fruit, maple syrup, choco dips, and cinnamon. I got French toast with bacon and soy sauce. With no fruits at all. If I could leave no star at all, that would have been perfect.

Absolutely shocking experience here today, food order was taken & waitress did not know any details of the meals which were on the menu. Food arrived & was totally wrong breakfast order & panini which came was freezing cold. Had to remind them twice about 2x chips which had been ordered. ‘Nutella’ milkshake on menu however were advised this was just a chocolate milkshake (even though chocolate is a separate option). Breakfast that came consisted of avocado which was clearly past its best (was brown) and panini was completely inedible - as if it’s been pre made and kept in a fridge then stuck on a plate. Breakfast was all just chucked on a plate, awful presentation. Asked waitress to take away panini due to it being disgusting and wasn’t offered anything in its place, just for it to be reheated which was unacceptable. Waitress blaming chefs for food issues, massive red flags. Then paid bill which was £38, including the non-eaten panini, no apologies for disgusting food or service. Completely overpriced and awful food/service, would not recommend.

Absolutely delicious but breakfast was missing bacon.

After been to to cafe on several occasions due the great food and service we had before. We were disappointed on the meal served to my wife, which had over done eggs and raw spinach on the plate. This was sent back and some time later she was asked for an alternative, fifteen minutes later no sign of this alternative, had appeared. We left and went o pay the bill and found the staff not caring and pleading the cafe was busy, this is never an excuse sadly we will not return.

Food was good but payed an extra £2 for like 20 chips. When really I didn’t want the chips. There ain’t no option to take them out of the order which is pretty disappointing. But thank you v much and hope use have a good day.

Waited ages for menu waited ages for food ( toast and eggs) toast and plate were stone cold then was almost finished before coffee finally came out…. Waitress said they were busy with just eat orders !!!!!!! So to summarise go into this place wait for them to deal with just eat before you get your order ….. wasn’t impressed

The coffee was lovely. I had a tray bake which was a bit dry. The icing on top very sweet. My husband had a canoli which was tasty. Very busy coffee shop which is good to see but very warm no open windows.

Excellent food, everything was top notch & plentiful. Great Deli & Bakery. Focaccia sandwich with Parma ham, delicious, all day breakfast and avocado toast with salmon & feta absolutely fantastic!

We ordered 2 sets of breakfast plate (traditional and veggie) 2 sets of pancakes (nutella and fresh fruits) and cheezy fries, everything was delicious. They have a huge selection of desserts too we are so glad we found this place on our way to the kelpies

Will never go back after our visit on 10/8 3 of us ordered panini's, one was cheese/ham and when it arrived it had tuna on the bottom,I took this back to THE MANAGER who was extremely rude and just kep smirking and was told I should have mentioned my granddaughter had a fish allergy!! No way is that right as we eat out out loads and never have to mention the allergy when ordering something that doesn't include fish! This was totally unacceptable as the fault was due to negligence in the kitchen!!! but her and her colleague were totally agressive blaming us and not once was an apology given!!! I asked what was happening and she said she had spoken to the OWNER, who never even showed face! I told her I wanted a print out if what I had ordered and she told me I would have to wait till she was ready, I told her so much for the customers always right, and was told the customer is not always right!! I was treated terribly by an incident that was totally no fault of mine, and not once did she apologise which is very bad customer service, we also ordered a latte which never appeared, and was told I should have told them, again no apology given, staff in this place need training on customer service and manners, totally disgusted and will never be back!!

Completely wrong order delivered - called the restaurant and was told that they couldn’t do anything about it and I needed to contact Just Eat to contact the driver or bring back the food. Absolutely no help whatsoever.

Our first time ordering from Antonio's and the food we received was lovely. Only issue was that all 3 of the items we received weren't the 3 we'd ordered. As we were doing some work in the house when the order arrived we didn't realise for 5-10 mins. That all said, we were happy to eat the items delivered and will pay closer attention next time to check as soon as its delivered.

Friendly staff, great food and particularly good coffee, the floret in top of mine was perfect 👍🏻 We visit here regularly and always have the same welcome, consistent quality of food and coffee.

Love it here for breakfast, service can be a bit slow sometimes but the food is always worth it. The full breakfast is delicious and the staff are happy to add or change ingredients to suit your tastes which I'm always grateful for! Coffee is also class here. Would be nice to try other foods but the breakfast options are so good I've never tried anything else 🤣

The service was the worst we have ever had in Scotland, too many customers not enough staff, served coffee after 20 minute wait, which was cold, had to ask where our food was after another 20mins and the answer was we are too busy, we choose to pay for coffee we had ordered and drank and left, certainly won’t be back

Has been a go to place for lunch in Falkirk for a while but has become painfully slow. We were in for Father's day lunch but waited almost an hour without food. The coffee and tea we had were finished and/or cold and still no food. The couple behind us waited 25 mins just to give their order and weren't best pleased either. After 40 mins we asked when it would be ready and were told was being made but 15 mins later we went to the counter to find that it wasn't even started! Eventually left without anything and went to McDonald's as we were by then starving! Food is normally very good but the service has become awful and is so, so slow. Not everyone has a couple of hours to order and eat lunch! Time to find somewhere else!

Great place, food brilliant and its really good value for money. They also have awesome cakes. I eat here at least twice a month

My husband and I have been looking for the right spot for our weekly breakfast get together. We have certainly now found it with Antonio's Deli. The food is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the serving team. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast choices to satisfy everyone. To top of such a fabulous breakfast I can highly recommend trying the cakes and pastries. They really do taste as good as they look.

Must admit I am fairly disappointed by the service we received yesterday. I have been here plenty times before but after yesterdays debacle I don’t think I will return. As it was a warm day, we sat outside and went in to order our breakfast. A cappuccino, a hot chocolate, a coke, 2 pancakes with bacon, and an eggs Benedict and paid when ordering (big mistake) We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, at this point I informed the girl at the counter that we had been waiting a while. She told us that it would just be coming. We waited another 10 minutes before she brought out the wrong drinks. The food then came a few minutes later, which in itself I cannot fault. The food was tasty. Another 5 minutes pass and the waitress brings out the hot chocolate, less cream and marshmallows, which we had paid for, and informed the waitress of. I asked at this point for a copy of the receipt, which never arrived even though we sat there for another 15 minutes finishing our drinks. Unfortunately this poor service was a huge let down on the delis part.

Simply the worst service ever. We were sat in the walkway with everyone, including staff, passing kicking or resting on my chair as they went by which was irritating to say the least. We ordered 2 panini and chips and waiting over 45 minutes for the food. When my mother was eventually given her panini, the bacon was undercooked & fatty and the panini was not toasted. I took it to the counter explained that the bacon was underdone, that the item wasn’t toasted and that this was unacceptable considering we had waited 45 minutes for the food. The girl at the counter, said that you only had 1 chef on today which was the reason for the delay. I don’t think this needs to be the customers problem I went back to eat, mum decided she didn’t want a replacement, I went back up and said never mind she doesn’t want another one. Which the girl then yelled through to the kitchen! We were sitting at the table eating, when another girl comes over to clear mums empty chip bowl (the first clearing of plates I had seen whilst people were at the table - everyone else’s tables were cleared after they left) she said everything ok with your meal? I said no we sent the BLT back. She said yea I heard about that. it was clear she wasn’t looking to resolve so I asked the question, if you know everything wasn’t ok why did you ask? I can only assume the colleague was over in ‘defence’ of the chef. Although I was direct and clearly unhappy, I was not aggressive or abusive towards the staff. However she accused us of being rude, she then falsely accused my mum of swearing at staff when she hadn’t even spoken to anyone and finishes off her rant with ‘my boss said I can be as rude to you as I like cause you were rude to staff. ‘ I am not a believer in the customer is always right but surely nobody would give authorisation for a member of the team to be openly rude and argumentative in a busy restaurant. I had suggested that she leave the table and let us eat in peace and she said it’s me who works here if anyone’s leaving it’s you. I was simply trying to defuse the situation and she took offence to that aswell! I asked for a number to speak to a manager however the chef came back to give me an email address. She then asked us to leave the premises. The chef made a massive fuss about serving me as I was ‘scaring and intimidating’ the servers but a young girl served me politely - she did not seem one bit bothered by my complaint. It felt a lot like the waitress from the table and chef were trying to make something out of nothing! This was a minor complaint blown out of proportion. The colleague who accuse my mum swearing had no idea of what context the alleged swearing was said in or to who or why when I questioned her story. Now that’s because it never happened. My belief is that I have upset the staff from the beginning as I sent back a plastic cup asking for glass instead. I did comment that drinking from a plastic cup was for children. A glass was unceremoniously slammed on the table as the waitress walked by 5 minutes later - it was dirty and smelt horrible. We didn’t use it. Shame to leave such a negative review for a local cafe. We will never be back

Incredible breakfast here at Antonio's. Food is always 10/10. Particularly the eggs benedict. Always very busy which is a great sign, also love the see that when the servers are busy the chef will come out to deliver food to help- great team effort. Always a delight coming here.

Came in for breakfast with my partner and young infant girl. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, food was amazing! We had the eggs benadict and I had the classic breakfast, honestly lovely wee place. Would give higher stars if I could.

First time ordering from here, I got the steakwich panini with fries. 10/10 flavour, was packed full with filling, the fries were crispy proper fries and everything arrived in good sturdy packaging. Really really nice will be ordering again

I got the Mac cheese and chips. Mac cheese was of very poor quality, not enough sauce and no melted cheese. Chips were cold on delivery. Avoid this meal as you will be disappointed.

Popped in for lunch, there is a good range to choose from and we all enjoyed our meals, it wasn’t overly expensive the only downside is that the service was a little slow but hopefully that will improve when I go back to try the delicious looking cakes.

A wonderful Italian cafe just outside the centre of Falkirk. A friendly atmosphere greets you when you enter, with treats for the eye to welcome you. Both in terms of the decor, that at the same time evokes nostalgic and a modern feel. The food and drink are a treat. The menu offers you a selection of dining options to be explored, though your eyes are pulled to the fresh, home made selection of baked goods on offer. All reasonably priced 😁 Can not wait to return :)

My food arrived cold, I gave specific delivery instructions as there is another address of the same name in the town along from us and the driver still managed to ignore this information and tried to deliver my food to the other address! my food is cold and there no way to request a refund for this inedible food! I regularly order from Antonio’s so I am extremely disappointed that this has happened, especially after giving specific delivery instructions that could not be any clearer. I want a FULL REDUND for my order justeat.

Absolutely beautiful lunch. My partner had The Italian Job burger and relished every bite. I had the Veggie breakfast and finished the whole thing. Even the toast was top notch. Service was really friendly without being intrusive. The café itself is gorgeous inside with modern decor and nice touches without too much clutter. Parking is easy because of the nearby retail park car park. Would absolutely recommend. :)

Best coffee in Falkirk. Canolli to die for. Friendly and efficient service. Place is always busy which is a testament to how good it is.

During the last visit I had focaccia with salmon with tasted just like those I had in Rome. My partner had steak panini and it was full of flavour, that's my order for the next time. Kid's Mac and cheese was huge with big size of fries too. Their coffee is always great, I'm never disappointed there. Place can get quite crowded but it's really cosy.

We enjoyed our late Sunday brunch - both the big breakfast and the pancakes in caramel sauce, mmm. The portions are good too and it was delivered on time and warm.

We popped in today for a bite to eat & we were not disappointed- I had the lovely carrot & coriander soup with delicious foccacia bread, so fresh, lovely & hot on a miserable day!! Others had panini and a portion of chips to share - delicious! Great value too, will be back

As soon as I walked in, I felt that this was a friendly place. I had pancakes with mozzarella, prosciutto and basil, which was wonderful. This was followed by amazing pistachio cannoli.

Get eggs Benedict from here all the time and it’s normally really good, this time there was a major lack of sauce, no chives on top like normal and the brioche bun was very soggy
