Most polite staff I have ever had food was on a different level unbelievably good

Ate two delicious pizzas for the first time from here, very tasty, will DEFINITELY order again, hence the five star review!

Today I was eating pizza and pasta,for the last 10 years I feel the taste of proper italian food,WOWWW definitely I go every weekend, even if im traveling 40min to get there....the staff really nice people, I highly recommended who love italian food and the real pizza on wood oven.....Thank you so much guys you put the heart în people's plate

Very good food, but very very bad delivery driver. She is extremely rude and acted like i did something wrong even though i didn’t and was smiley and nice. So will not do delivery ever again. They should will change it to someone else. I ordered by calling the Antico Forno phone number.

Not only is the pizza delicious, the atmosphere and service once you step foot in the door is absolutely on point! Antico pizzas are the closest I’ve had to the authentic Italian pizza I’ve eaten in Tuscany. Everything (even from the pizza base) is made from scratch, your pizza of choice prepared in front of you and baked in a huge stone pizza oven! The best in Wigan by far!

I can't speak for atmosphere as I have never visited but we have ordered three times now and it has been absolutely amazing 🤩 the pizza is unreal, pasta is fresh and so tasty and the chicken wings are to die for. Well worth every single penny!!

I found this hidden gem on a Google search. I took my daughter and her 3 friends (all aged 10 years old) for food on Friday night. The food was incredible and I mean incredible. The service was first class and exceptional. The owner (Basil) who served us was such a lovely genuine and passionate man....this clearly feeds into and motivates the staff who were also so kind and attentive. I have taken my daughter all over the world to dine and I can honestly say, the wood fired pizza from Antico Forno is one of the best we have had anywhere. The girls all ordered fresh fruit mocktails. I watched Basil cutting all of the fruit to make these mocktails for my daughter and her friends. They said the mocktails were incredible, really fresh, fruity and tasty. We wrapped up things with proper gelato. There was so much choice with the gelato, it was hard to pick so we all got different flavours. Tasted incredible. I would highly recommend Antico Forno to anybody. I am actually trying to travel back to the North West at the end of the coming week (I live in The Midlands) and tie in a visit to this hidden little gem, so I can grab a pepperoni and peppers with parmesan fresh wood fired sour dough pizza. Well done guys, keep up the good work! X

This place is GREAT! My boyfriend and I ordered food from here and it was absolutely amazing. The workers rang me to ask how the food was which Is wonderful customer service and the food was to die for. We ordered the signature pizza wich I can safely say is one of the best pizzas I've had in years. We were also given 2 free cannolis wich were again, amazing. Strongly recommend to anyone who is fancying authentic Italian and I wish good luck to this business.

Really fancied a nice pasta so came across this place…. The penne macaroni cheese is more cream than cheese, and the garlic bread needs more garlic as more of a cheese pizza. Husband had pizza and said was a little bland. Overall 50/50 whether we would return as quite pricey in comparison to the quality

Food quality drop down. When I eat pizzas first few times it was really delicious. Now pizza and pasta quality is really really not that good like before.

Order lamb and chicken kabab only revived lamb it was cold.looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day even though we ordered it at 445 and picked it up a 5, only live round the corner. Never ordering again.

Arrived after almost 90 minutes from ordering, had to call up to chase, where the guy at the restaurant didn’t seem to have any idea about my order, had to repeat it to him and he said it will be there asap. It arrived 5 minutes later on a motorbike, pasta was undercooked and bland, no apology given. Will never order from here again

Great little place, open all day serving a range of Italian bread and patisserie. Cannoli and focaccia a personal favourite. Highly recommended.

food was OK. basil and parmesan not included in the pizza, and the pepperoni is more like salami. very underwhelming. food arrived hot despite the late delivery, which was nice. if the pizza had better pepperoni I would have given an extra point.
