Very nice meal. Highly recommended

Visited for the first time today. Good value food, we all enjoyed our meals and desserts. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return when in the area again.

Food looked like it was in the freezer for a year. But tasted alright. Bad table service. They make you order on an app which then the WiFi isn't great. Really dirty and old place. No one comes to give you your good unless you mention your food. The only really good thing about the place, is that you have a nice view and free parking.

The food that we had was average at best . Burger was nice chips ok. My wife had one of the salads no dressing the plate was swimming in water and chunks of white cabbage not strips but chucks . One of my kids had the all day breakfast no butter on the toast or on the plate toast was rock hard and cold . My son had a wrap the less said about that the better . Chef was cleaning the tables when we came in maybe he should stick to that because he had no pride in cooking . !!!

Lovely location, free parking for customers (you must enter reg details in restaurant), easy to order food online or at the bar. Staff are friendly. The food was delicious! Steaks came out on cast iron sizzling plate and was cooked to perfection. The beef ribs were succulent. Desserts were yummy too! This would have been a 5 star from me had it not been for the fact that there was a thick layer of dust on the ledge to the side of where we were sat. Really good value! Highly recommend.

Upon of booking online I specifically noted that one guest had dairy free alegies! Booked a table for 5 guest but upon arrival was told they only had tables for 4 but was willing to add a chair. We accepted then ordered our meal at the bar. Again I specifically told them my 3 Yr old granddaughter had dairy allergies She wanted a burger but the waiter served her a cheese burger!!!! What part of dairy allergies don't they understand! They then took her meal away to correct it that took at least 20 minutes. By the time they served her meal it was too late as she had ate half of my meal. This could of been a life or death situation all they said was oh sorry!

Came here with the family a few days back and have been meaning to write a review since. I feel that the Antelope in is a prestigious dining experience that offers and caters towards all demographics (Even dogs), the staff are very hands on and knowledgeable about the selection they offer ranging from an excellent menu of both food and drinks that has something for everyone. Aswell as housing a very ‘home-ly’ dinning and beer gardens respectively. The staff as stated are knowledgeable and friendly helping us to decipher the right meals for our table and even went as far as to help my son to win something on the claw machine. Overall a fantastic culinary experience that ticks all the boxes of a successful and prestigious dinning experience. 5/5

First time in Wales and found this pub and decided to give it a try. The food was great and the service was good. It was a little busy but Jack looked after us well. Will definelty be back next time I'm here!!

Came here for food with the wife, living locally we both Love the antelope, idealistic location with superb views of Anglesey and the bridge, very content with the food I had a burger to which was cooked to perfection drowned down with a lovely cold pint staff were very friendly in accommodating my wifes dietary requirements, pricing was very reasonable will definitely be sure to visit again.

Absolute fantastic service! Recently stopped by for a quick lunch as was traveling through. The staff were super friendly and food was amazing, plenty of options to choose from and the atmosphere was splendid. Will visit again, highly recommend!

Honest to god, the best place I've been to. Has a classic pub style and atmosphere with some lovely tunes to boot. The food was gorgeous in both presentation and in taste. The drinks were fresh and they do a good pint of Guinness. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Might make this place my go-to eat in.

Just had a meal with my family for my sons birthday. Great food,really busy but Jack was brilliant looked after us really well. Used to come regularly years ago,we will be back soon.

Great day out, first time visiting wales and came across this lovely pub for lunch, food was excellent and the team were great. Reasonably priced and will definitely be going again.

Haven't had food, tried a handful of times and turned away at door - no fault of venue but would definitely recommend booking beforehand. Variety of drinks for resistable prices. Would recommend the garden foe outdoor seating as seats near the front door are sloped, some are even rotten.

Booked here with family, 6 of us. Ordered food at the bar, we waited an hour for food, no one came up and said anything to us, we had to ask where our food was. Food was ok, it was warm not hot. Disappointed as had looked at reviews and seemed good. We will not be going back again and wouldnt recommend either.

Pub right at the end of the Menai Bridge. Formulaic menus and sticky tables. Register your car at the entrance to avoid parking fine.

People behind the bar are nice that’s about it. Had to send my meal back as it was wrong and then the next meal that came out was also wrong, heard a few moaning about the chef so I think they need to look into getting a new one. Left my second meal as I couldn’t be bothered to wait for another to be made. Wouldn’t go again to be honest

My wifes curry was very good - I ordered a medium rare sirlion sizzling steak but it wasn’t sizzling when it arrived and the steak was well done dry and not very tender. There was no courtesy check from the waitress otherwise I would of mentioned it. I ate all my meal but I was disappointed as the last steak I had from the Antelope was cooked just to my liking and tender. Good value for money.

Decent spot to grab some food and a drink. Views are nice but after that nothing special.

Katie, John and Jack were the staff who cooked and served us on the 6th May. The service was excellent as was the food. The three of us ordered sirloin steaks "well done". All steaks were perfect, as were the chips and the fresh mushrooms. We all had mini deserts with a cappochino, which was delicious and although a mini desert, still a good size. I would definitely recommend.

The location is very good besides the Menai suspension bridge. It has an old world charm. It has a vibrant bar. There are limited vegan and vegetarian options. The best part are the views of the Menai strait and suspension bridge.

As soon as we entered the pub noone greeted us, we waited 10 minutes before having to ask a staff member if we could be seated. I have had this reservation booked for over a month now so it wasn't a last minute seating situation. When finally being shown our seat we were told to order at the bar very abruptly no warm welcome given soon with our basket of cutlery being slammed onto our table. We then walked up to the bar and waited a further 15 minutes while it took 3 members of staff to work out a simple order of 4 shots. When finally being served again we were told rudely the Stella and the fish and chips weren't available so we decided to leave. I understand a Saturday evening can be busy but not a single hello or a smile from any member of staff and when spoken to each staff member appeared annoyed or unbotherd. I am upset that this happened as the booking was for a special birthday to which I made them aware of when making the booking.

What a nice clean pub with a view of the menai bridge. Food prices were fair enough with the option of 2 for 1 deal on selected meals. Car park was a little tight, but it's free just don't forget to put your plate in at the bar..

Ordered 2 sizzlers and round plates with soggy peppers and onions with a chicken fillet/rib plonked on top came.waitress said sizzlers were not served outside but why was,nt it explained to us as we would of ordered something else.our freind had a burger which looked fab. So dissapointed ,meal was a flop

No broccolli with the sizzling meal, I mentioned this and all I got was "I'll tell them in the kitchen". Very dissapointed that there was no decaffeinated hot drinks available. Meal was nice but service was a bit slow, it wasn't busy.

Great food, great service, some views of the straies. Can reserve for parties, and they cater for your needs. We were a part of 7 and had a lovely table reserved for us. Food was served quickly considering the size of our party, and all at the same time, no one was left waiting. If you want to collect rewards the I suggest downloading their app, which there is a QR code on the menus. This gives you rewards, discounts, and offers, so it is worth getting in my opinion. Will be back again.

Great location to sit & admire the view of the straights or base to walk over the bridge! Kids pizza was good, tikka chicken sizzle platter was AMAZING! Tender, tasty, plenty of veggies & totally sizzling all the way to the table! Great value as kids eating was cheaper, £20 for adult main, kids main & 2 drinks! Nice friendly staff. Register your car inside for free parking!

Bar staff and duty manager were lovely, always polite service, 😀 food came out hot and as described (although missing garnishes on the chicken combo dish) other than minor things was perfect

Sewage would be my review, awful, 2 meals 12.50 not expecting the earth, rock hard overcooked cold chips, dry frazzeled cold gammon, cold garden peas, absolutely miss poor, wouldn't give it my dog, km a local not been for 3 years as it wrnt down hill, STILL IS! This food was from the afternoon at best , I've eaten better from the chippy in the morning. WILL NEVER RETURN , no winder it changes hands so much, disgusting

The staff are only able to do so much. There was a packed restaurant and bar. One guy serving behind the bar AND serving food. He was running ragged. Expect around an hour+ for food. It appears the owner must not like to spend money on staff or produce, as the chicken burger was some frozen and reheated thing that I wouldn't buy again from Iceland.... But when you go out for a meal you want to be fed decent meals. Even though I'm working nearby, it'll be a no from me, Especially with so many other decent places within 5 minutes walk away.

Great food, warm welcome for both humans and dogs. Well worth the visit. Staff were friendly and the ale was good. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful view of the iconic Menai Bridge, plenty of free parking, remember to enter car registration inside. Food was piping hot and tasty. Service was excellent, smiling staff always works for me.

Friendly staff, excellent food and drinks and extremely good value for money

I called around 6:45 asking for a late minute booking (7pm) and Sam/Jason were extremely welcoming, held the kitchen open for us and reserved a table. Throughout serving us they were approachable and extremely quick. They offered student discount when they saw our university merch. Overall very happy! :)

The staff here are always great, always very busy doing their jobs but and very friendly. Jason on the bar was very helpful with ordering, food is always great here, we come several times a week and never have had a bad meal or experience.

Bella my dog and I + friends are regulars at the Antelope, great pun grub, great staff and a lovely welcoming, laid back and cheerful environment. Great value for money and always our go to place to eat out with friends. Bella is treated like royalty 👑 which is just lovely. 10 / 10 for Jason every time we visit - always goes the extra mile and Lershea and Jolee working with him Last Friday were also great. We are very happy customers 😀

Our server Lershae was very polite and helpful. Short wait time for the food which was great. My 1 improvement would be that the part which is out of the way/quieter for dogs is also the place they're not allowed. So we had to keep the dog near the busier bar/main entrance section.

Good food but we were cold no heating

Food was good staff was friendly would recommend I gave this review 2 years ago today I went back today and was told the salmon was out of stock but latter found out that the were keeping the salmon that was in stock for what seemed a more expensive meal I was told what meal it was kept for by a member of staff I then checked the menu and confirmed this . very poor service 2 year on would not recommend this establishment now .
