Pleasant staff cheerful good food thanks

It's the best place in Freckleton for sandwiches and snacks, and also hot and cold drinks run by a mother and daughter team. Every time I been, they're always very welcoming.

Great food chips and cheese with gravy and scollops are fantastic. I love this chippy and the staff are wonderfull especially Charlotte.

Another butty, another delight made before your very eyes always fresh and tasty you just can't help but love these butts.

Been for a first time and wouldn't go back. First hey should open the door there, coz barely able to breath. ( I used to work in chippy so know what I am saying), second in kids meal amount of batta on fish was ridiculous , two bites of fish really, third all paper stuck to the fish and chips, very greasy. The best thing was curry sauce. Defo not food for me and my family, none of my kids rreally ate it, most end up in the bin.

I never get the correct order from a certain member of staff and then when I get home the rest of my order is cold. It really does let this lovely take away down. The food is amazing but this situation puts me off going

Best butty shop going, staff always polite, all butties made in front of you, perfect pricing, Cornbeef salad, English mustard with a boiled egg, along with a porkpie, excellent place to eat.

Anna's sandwich shop as the name suggests is a shop that sells sandwiches I have to say that they are made fresh and in front of you I've never had bad one Anna herself is very happy to make your sandwich anyway you like cold and hot drinks soup pies too the shop does close at 2pm well worth a visit!

Tried this chippy today for the 1st time has we're not from the area and the food was lovely. The owner and his good lady are very nice. As it was close to closing time they gave us a free small fish and a sausage. If the owner reads this we enjoyed our tapas night 😂 thanks again.

Piping hot and delicious Fish & Chips (Flapjacks was closed the people on holiday) and this was my alternative eatery today, an excellent choice. The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth, the chips are awesome too. Excellent staff even mentioned The Ship for great food and views. Finished off with a nice cappuccino and now back to work!! The owner has been there for over 20 years, an excellent place to visit and eat 👌

I went in, (on crutches) ordered and paid, they brought it out nicely packed in a paper carrier bag ., to me on my Mobility scooter. Great service.

Good portions of fish and chips. Collection time was 18.05 Arrived at 18.04 and had to wait for 2 drop in customers to get served before me. Actual time was 18.19 before getting my food. That was disappointing. Why order online if you get served quicker dropping in. You have to collect anyway as there is no delivery.

I've not been for a while, ordered online for pick up, pick up took just over 20 minutes after the pick up time stated. Served several customers before hand, the food was cold by the time we got it home, even though we live 5 minutes away. The order was missing items and they decide to change what you're having for tea, and you find out when you unwrap when you get home....like a surprise parcel. I remember now why I've not been for so long. Won't be back.

Not quite 5 star but one of the better chip shops around. Gravy could have more flavour and the peas more seasoning with a touch of sugar.

Lovely friendly welcome good efficient helpful service we had small fish and chips. Sunny hot day so we sat in the garden across the road and thoroughly enjoyed excellent fish and chips definitely call again and recommend

The chippy was great. It’s you that’s not! They’ve asked you to remove various things off the menu and you haven’t!

I very rarely leave reviews but I’m this case really felt like I should - me and my granddaughter love getting our chippy teas when she stays at mine and we always make it a “buffet” that we share and have a bit of everything I can always guarantee there will be something that isn’t up to her standard 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 first time ordering from here and first time she loved everything on her plate … excellent service, exceptional food at a reasonable price .. can’t ask for more thank you

Normally no probs with chippy, but the steak pudding was actually steak and kidney, I don’t eat kidney so it made me feel poorly. The menu should reflect what’s in it, they usually do

Fish is cooked fresh. Set out on hot tray waiting for you to collect and this dries off any excess grease and leaves the batter nice and crisp.
