Just got home from eating here. The food was absolutely superb. I had the calamari but it was so different from regular calamari and it was so delicious. One of the best things I have ever tasted! The service was super quick and friendly April 2024 Just been out to eat with friends. Delicious food. Truly amazing, might be my favourite restaurant ever. Staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was just so so flavourful. Special mentions go to the Baba ganoush and the meatball/kofta. Amazing

Excellent Turkish food. And i can sincerely day that as someone who is very familiar with Turkish Cuisine :) This was one of the best Turkish restaurants i’ve been in the UK. Food was super tasty, service was excellent, the ambience is also really nice. 100% recommend. We came here after our 10K run and it was a great celebration!

First visit to Constantinople and its my favourite restaurant so far in Brighton! Food was delicious, lots of variety. Atmosphere very authentic. Great service. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing meal here on Saturday night. We were a large group, but our food all came out at the same time and was AMAZING, and the staff were freindly and accommodating. We will definitley be back. Thank you all.

11 of us visited this wonderful restaurant for two birthday celebrations. Cannot rate it highly enough. We had a mix of starters chosen by the team, then a variety of main courses, including fab vegetarian options. Amazing food. Attentive service. Could not have asked for a better evening. Fabulous food bursting with flavours. Great service. My Turkish friends tell me this is the most authentic Turkish restaurant they have found in their 10 years in the UK. Even the interior design is quintessential Istanbul.

Cramped and disorganised. Was told when we arrived we had to leave by X time so we had to hurry for next reservation... our order and the orders of the tables on either side of us were wrong.... the food was average at best.

Amazing Meze. We have visited Turkey many times and this is authentic and fantastic quality, as good, if not better than food from there. I particularly recommend the Baba Ganoush and Carrot Tarator. Complimentary extra Meze and Dessert

The music makes the atmosphere way better,the food and drinks were just one of the best I had.the owner was very friendly and nice(who served the tables).I have been here before and it still didn’t disappoint me and my family☺️I recommend This to you My favourite food was the meatballs🤤

We were recommended Constantinople on our recent visit to Brighton and I can see why. The food was excellent, the restaurant had a nice laid back feel and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Constantinople is also excellent value for money. The mezze combination was also a great deal and you get loads of delicious options, as well as a main course! The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't finish my main because everything on the mezze combination was so nice I couldn't stop eating it, but that was my own fault for being greedy! 😂 Highly recommended and would definitely visit again when visiting Brighton.

Really liked this restaurant. Would happily recommend it. The food was very tasty, interesting flavours and lots of it. We had the '3 course dinner menu' with a couple of mezze dishes each and lots of choice, plus an entree, followed by an equally tasty main course. And finally, when we asked for the bill the owner arrived with complimentary Turkish desert which we some how found space for ;) Will be back soon.

The food and service was top notch. It wasn't busy the time we were there, so it is difficult to judge the atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Wir würden vom Blick ins Restaurant angezogen und haben jeden Moment genossen. Super freundliche Bedienung, das Essen excellent: wir waren zu dritt und hatten alle das Menü mit zwei Meze, einer Vorspeise und einem Hauptgericht zu 25 Pfund. Herrlich ..dazu ein zwei eisegekühlte Efes draft. Sehr gerne wieder!!!

Such a lovely evening with my 4 friends. Great food and a lovely touch of complimentary bites. Many thanks to the charming man who served us and kindly arranged a taxi for another lady.

I really like this place. There's So many over priced or similar places around, but this one is different and isn't extortionate. The service was quick and very friendly. The vegan choice was good, though it could have been a little clearer what was vegan or veggie. We chose the option to share four starters, which was a good move. And then to share a main course, the Imam bayildi, which is roasted aubergine. I'd got the impression it was 2 halves of aubergine. That would have been plenty. But it was only a half - which left us a bit short. We topped it up with some bread and humus.. to be honest, I never know why humus is treated as being a slightly expensive dish in its own right in Mediterranean restaurants.. doesn't fit well with knowing it's so cheap and easy to make. So - for 2 of you, 1 main after 4 starter dishes probably isn't enough. All of that aside, it's a brilliant place and I'll definitely go again and just order a bit more.. some people seemed to have ordered enough for loads more people but I hate waste. The complementary pudding was delicious and very welcome - and at least we had room for it!

An enchanting place with exceptional food and service, I highly recommend. The Mixed grill was one of the most satisfying dishes I have had in a long time! If I lived in Brighton, it would become my regular for sure!

My favourite Turkishish restaurant/cafe. From delicious small plates you can share to yummy main courses to really get your teeth into. Wonderful meats, great fish. Have a little, have lots, please yourself! Wine list and beers, spirits good too. Lovely friendly & helpful staff. Great value

My mother, sister and I are in Brighton for a long weekend and we were looking for something a little different. Found Constantinople on the internet and booked ourselves in! We ordered the lamb shish, lamb shank and about 4 mezze dishes and without fail everything has been perfection.. clean, light, tasty, perfectly seasoned, flavourful and all served in a lovely warm, hospitable ambiance. Three very happy customers. The aperol spritz’s were also excellent! Check it out!

Party of 6. Pre-booked. Two vegetarians. First time for some of us to a Turkish restaurant and the owner and staff were very welcoming, happy to make recommendations, explain anything that wasn't clear etc. Never had Turkish wine before, but they recommended it and it was a good choice. No-one in our group had anything negative to say about the food or standards of service etc. Would happily go back again without hesitation and very happy to recommend it although I can't compare it to other Turkish restaurants, as I was a first timer. Lovely all round.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food. A friend had given us a few recommendations of good places to eat in Brighton and strongly suggested we try here. I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing, full of flavour and delicious. I had the Calamari Mucver to start and the gentleman serving informed us it was his favourite. It was easy to see why, it was delicious. For my main course I had the chicken Sac Tava which was amazing, full of flavour and a really good portion size. We will definitely eat there again

Popped in on a very quiet Monday after the first restaurant we stopped at ignored us with the menu for almost 30 minutes. It was really quiet but the low lighting and lovely decor made a real calming, inviting atmosphere. Genuinely friendly welcome and felt like our custom was really appreciated. We chose a couple of starters and mains, and were not disappointed! The calamari fishcake starters were truly melt in the mouth tasty. Also we received a free tapas on the house, a really nice touch. Even the bread was deliciously fresh, warm and not stodgy. Mains were salmon skewers - char grilled perfectly, tasty outside and perfectly soft insides, and a chicken in sauce dish that was too spicy for me but my spice appreciating friend devoured it with a huge smile- wonderfully tasteful apparently. Thank you for a lovely evening, we were only in Brighton for one night but will definitely return on a future visit. Prices were good, chairs were comfy, waiter was the nicest guy, service was efficient, professional, and with a smile.

Amazing Turkish food and they were so lovely to me. Really felt welcomed and they were very generous. Honestly as good as the food in turkey! Such a great find. Great price and value as well! Family owned and makes it that much more wonderful.

When we came in they didn't have my reservation even tho I called the night before. It was very quiet when we came in but it picked up after and the staff was cleary very stressed. The food was great and really tasty and it compensates for the service, that specifically told us when "I don't have time." When my friend and I were deciding how to pay.

Visited last night, fantastic food, attentive service and special in so many ways. There is a reason why this place is voted for the best Turkish restaurant in Brighton. In fact, it was much more than a Turkish restaurant that we had been before. Mixed mezze platter to share, then we both had lamb shish with amazing rice and tzatziki. Both were very tasty. Gorgeous home-made pita bread and very welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely little cafe type place. Originally stopped here for a coffee break, but were so taken with it, we circled back for dinner. Cosy, friendly atmosphere with delicious food.

I had a fantastic birthday meal with my friends at Constantinople. The food was delicious. The staff was very attentive. I was offered homemade dessert with a candle in the end which was a very sweet surprise. Such a thoughtful act indeed! I was very happy to be able to book on a very busy evening. The booking via their website was very straightforward. After a few minutes of the booking, I had a confirmation text. Picked this place based on amazing reviews on both Google and here, it did not disappoint at all. We cook forward to visiting Constantinople again very soon.

This place is fantastic. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and loads of choices if you are vegan or vegetarian. Wine is very good. The food is just fantastic, really very well done. Honestly one of the best Turkish restaurants I've ever been to outside of Turkey! Also recommend booking through their own website as they respond so quickly and are very accomodating. 10/10.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and wonderful service

One of the best restaurants in Brighton! I've had lunch there yesterday with my partner and his mum. The service was absolutely impeccable, the brother and sister (I think?) who helped us where really lovely and they never pressured us, even if we stayed there until almost 5pm. The food was absolutely amazing, every single plate was filled with colours, paired with tasty flavours and beautiful textures. Every single plate, from starters to the mains, were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the fired halloumi with sesame seeds. The bread and the water with mint leafs were an amazing touch too. Lastly, the atmosphere (incredibly important for me) was impeccable, the music was lovely, the light was right and the place smelled amazingly. The owners were so lovely to write down the name of a song after I tried to Shazam it and couldn't find it. At the end, one of the owners was so incredibly kind to offer us some small desserts on the house, these as well were absolutely brilliant. Honestly one of the best food experiences I've had in Brighton, highly recommended and I will 100% go back.

Went hear with the rest of the family for my neices birthday. The food is excellent and the service is first class.We went lunch time and it was quite empty but would imagine it would get pretty busy in the evening.Would definitely go again as it's nice and easy to get to from my neices flat.

A lovely, little independent/family run business. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced (definitely ask the waitress for her recommendations) - the 3 course deal is unbelievable value for money! Thoroughly recommend.

Great atmosphere and an amazing selection of Middle Eastern dishes. £18,95 for a 3-course meal including 2 mezze, 1 entree and 1 main dish. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options and both familiar and more adventurous dishes. Loved it and will go again!

Gorgeous restaurant. Excellent value on the 3 course meal choice. We had a bit of everything, easy to share. Turkish white wine was recommended and we really enjoyed it. Borek with feta and spinach were a highlight, plus the lamb kofte. Lovely friendly service - thank you!

First of all i wanna say that whatever we had there were delicious. Especially lentil soup was really good and enjoyed it. Giving 4 star because porsions were skimpy. When it says including salad and rice, i was expecting to get proper salad & rice with my food. But they were all served in one plate including my main dish which was also skimpy... Staff was very polite & friendly btw. Probably would give 3.7 out of 5 but still recommend it.

Amazing food - highly recommend Girit Ezme, Baba Ganoush and shakshuka. Every dish we ordered was fresh and so well flavoured. The owner is also friendly, welcoming and helpful. One of the best meals I have had in Brighton. Would highly recommend.

You must try this food. What a brilliant restaurant. Mediterranean food (mainly Turkish and Greek influenced), delicious mezze, reasonably priced drinks, tasty main courses, and home made baclava (perfect - not too sweet, and goes perfectly with an espresso). We shared the 5 choices of mezze, a main, and one baclava (which comes with three portions),and a bottle of rosé. One of us had an espresso. Came to around £56. The staff are great - helpful and friendly. If you are in Brighton I urge you to try this place.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at the Constantinople Restaurant in Brighton this evening. Food was amazing. Quick service despite being so busy, highly attentive staff and they work so hard. All the hallmarks of a family run business where every customer is important. Everything was delicious, really enjoyed the Falafel platter and Borek and the main courses were very generous and cooked to perfection. Will 100% be visiting again.....

Friendly and efficient service, thank you. Our chicken shish was dry and lacked flavour. The vegetarian mezze was a very modest size, and again lacked taste. Our bread was served near cold. We had high expectations, but our experience was behind other Turkish venues we have visited. We sat in the middle of the restaurant, and our table was constantly interrupted by staff and customers due to the constricted width either side of our table.

One of the best options for Turkish food in Brighton with a large and (in parts) unique menu. Warm and friendly service, although they seemed a bit short staffed the last time we were in.

Absolute gem. Was suggested we try the offer price of 2 meze options 1 entree and 1 main per person so a combination between us of 8 dishes. Great value for money fantastic food and service. With 2 cocktails each only £65 go people of Brighton you won't regret it.
