We ordered pasta and pizza accompanied by beer and cocktails. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the taste, and the pasta did not seem fresh. Additionally, the amount of stew inside the cocktail drink was short for that long and narrow glass. Moreover, there was no pepper readily available on the table; instead, staff members offered to add it themselves, which we found somewhat inconvenient. They also asked if we wanted to add parmigiana to the pasta, similar to what happened with the pepper. While the staff were polite, their demeanor was very serious and somewhat cold. Personally, I won't be returning, but perhaps you might visit and enjoy other dishes they offer.

Have dined here many times however the most recent visit was quite disappointing. I booked for 15 of us and we didn’t have a dedicated waiter it was mostly whoever was passing that served us. The food orders were mixed up. Some dishes were forgot about and we had to ask the waiting staff at least twice for one of the dishes. We were about to order some more drinks but a random waiter appeared with our bill. That was fine we went elsewhere. The service charge being added without notifying us was disappointing although this is not exclusive to this restaurant. I think most do it now but to be honest the service wasn’t worth the charge. Really disappointed and probably won’t be back.

Love ❤️ this restaurant. The pizza 🍕 dough is a stand out. Staff friendly, warm and welcoming. Excellent selection of wine 🍷 👌 Give them a visit 😋 you won't be dissapointed.

Having visited several times now, the quality and price of the food has never disappointed me. They have a large tasty selection of traditional Italian dishes, as well as some with a ‘Scottish spin’, always coming in good portion sizes. Perfect for both small and large group dining, with tables able to accommodate any reasonable group size. Sometimes it takes a little longer than expected to order, however I acknowledge I have only visited at very busy times on the weekend. Also, they do add a % service fee to the bill, so take that into account while tipping.

Very vibrant, busy place, but the prompt and efficient service makes you feel like it's not busy at all. Fantastic food, I've no doubt that everything on the menu is delicious.

Very varied food menu. Wide selection of drinks. All food freshly cooked. Service was good and staff attentive. Although the restaurant was busy, it was not noisy, and the ambience was very pleasant. Highly recommend a visit.

Great food and wine with great frends. The restaurant was as usual fill and every one was happy fantastic staff. We will be back soon for more.

Smallest portions I've seen even down to the 250ml sin alcohol at 3€. Starters were tiny but ok. Fresh pasta 'original' carbonara was worst I've tasted.

So disappointed bought a voucher for a birthday eventually taken to a table which was tight 1 course each staff never asked how food was had to ask for pepper parmezan restaurant so noisey staff attended to the big tables we felt ignored asked for bill voucher amount hadn't been tsken off asked to stand and wait with food being served around us bn regulars for years didn't feel a good service today disappointed

The most delicious meal I've had in a loooong time. I'm going to be dreaming about those garlic chili ginger chicken thighs. Great service and atmosphere too.

First visit. Very busy Saturday afternoon. Great value 2 or 3 course deal. Well worth it for the quality of the food.

Enjoyed authentic Italian cuisine on Mother's day. And felt satisfied on choosing a local Glasgow brand over Pizza Hut ! And a big thanks to Giuseppe who guided us well about the halal cuisine options available at the restaurant. We would visit this restaurant again.

Honestly found the staff pretty unwelcoming and had a waitress just reach over me and take away an empty bottle without saying a word. Table was in the corner and was small and cramped, I don’t mind that too much but that-along with the unfriendly staff, staff weren’t attentive at all and very average pizzas, I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place. Very disappointing as the place is gorgeously decorated and in close enough proximity to the city centre.

Excellent meal. Guissepe was extremely attentive and efficient.

Another fantastic evening and meal in Amore. First time eating off the a la carte menu and not the Christmas Eve speciality menu. Food is always on point. Service is always on point. Giuseppe a wonderful host on this occasion. 100% recommend a visit, no matter the occasion.

Went there on Valentine's day. A very nice restaurant

i have to share my recent dining experience at the restaurant. I placed an order for Cajun chicken pasta, making it explicitly clear that I could not consume pork chorizo due to religious beliefs. Despite conveying this dietary restriction, the dish was served with chorizo mixed in. Unfortunately, I took a bite unknowingly, mistaking it for chicken, only to be met with a wave of discomfort and distress upon realizing the mistake. When I brought the issue to the attention of the staff, their response was disappointing. They offered to remove the charge from the bill, which was already anticipated given the circumstances as I only had 1 bite of the pasta. However, their apology was superficial at best, lacking any genuine concern or acknowledgment of the gravity of the situation. What compounded the disappointment was the aftermath of the incident. Despite having taken only one bite, the impact on my appetite and well-being was significant. I felt sickened and disgusted, unable to even contemplate consuming any further food. It was a profound letdown to have my dietary needs disregarded, and the lack of empathy or genuine apology from the restaurant only added to the frustration. Overall, my experience left much to be desired. The failure to accommodate a straightforward dietary request and the subsequent lack of sincere remorse or concern for my well-being was deeply disappointing. It's essential for establishments to prioritize customer care and attentiveness to dietary needs, especially when it comes to matters as significant as religious beliefs. To top it off the Manager said ‘ Oh well we can’t turn back time now ‘

Amazing , came to Glasgow to visit some friends so we decided to come here , servers where amazing and so friendly , food was out of this world 10/10 would come back

Stopped off for a quick bite, seemed very busy. But they squeezed us in. Food was good , only had mains but the food looked great

We booked this restaurant for family celebration and to our bad luck it made our celebration goes bad...as we didn't enjoy the food at all - we ordered risotto that was very hard with smelly chicken. The pizza we got had very weird chicken taste, the lasagna was so bad as well..not to the minimum of standards you would expect from an italian restaurant. The place certainly went bad since I have been before and enjoyed same dishes. It's very unfortunate tbh

Amazing lunch loved by everyone.

Always crazy busy but the service is amazing. Food is average at best.

Today during the lunch we had a bad experience with the service. The person who attend us is “Landi”, or the bad mood. We are from UK and we didn’t knew and didn’t understand that we need to order one plate for each. Our table have 5 and we ordered 4 to not waste food but Landi shows in his face that wasn’t happy. Take to long to gave the additional plate and my uncle was embarrassing leaving the restaurant. There are a lot of ways to explain specially for those who’s doesn’t speak English very well. He could offer dinner for sharing but he prefered to maintain the bad mood. We love your country, we love your food but the service was the worst we had in UK.

I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. I have ordered Pizza and salade and I was supposed to pay 13£ instead I had to pay double the price. The waitress said , because my friend has shared with me the meal than I have to pay double the price. In addition the pizza tastes awful and the salade was too dry. The staff are super lazy, I waved my hand like 10 times so I can order cola and they were not paying any attention Again I don’t recommend this restaurant, they should close it and open a bar , the only thing was nice and clean is. The toilet

Lovely place very nice atmosphere . Service is excelent . Range of food and options on menue. Even sutable for kids with a proper food and very yummy. Portions are good size. Great place for a casual lunch or dinner with a big group. Food is service is fast too not a long wait.

Absolutely fantastic food, great staff and a very pleasant atmosphere

Slight queue to get through front door but this shows how busy the place is. Table was ready for us once we got to front desk. Waiters and waitress were attentive but not overly and didn't feel rushed to make decisions and also not left waiting for someone...the service was spot on. Food wise it was excellent, starters, main and dessert was all brilliantly made and tasted excellent. Did have to take a half pizza home and no issues in getting this put into a box to take home. Overall we would be back again.

Great quality food and reasonably priced.

Food was amazing and had a great choice on the menu, something for everyone and loved the added pictures of all the pasta at the top of the menu which for someone who is not as good with pasta names in Italian helped alot and service was fast

Good restaurant, but too expensive for what it is.

We had a great night in here. Portions were good. It was busy and service was good. The santa hats for Christmas were a nice touch. We will be back.

Out for lunch, Xmas menu 2 or 3 course. Very reasonably priced for time of year. Good portion size. Opted for main and dessert. Gorgeous. Staff really nice and not overbearing like in some restaurants. Very busy when I was in so it was quite noisy, but everyone was having a lovely time. Quick and efficient service, have been before and will definitely be going back.

Excellent food for a Christmas meet up with colleagues. Although restaurant was full the service was very good. Would recommend.

The food was nice, but I wouldn't say it was the best Italian in Glasgow. What makes Amore for me is always the atmosphere. The place is always busy.

It was awful. There were power cuts throughout the meal. No apology and we had to pay the full price.

So bad the staff was rude moody no communications no body came up to the table if our food was ok which it wasn’t at all everything was a mess u really need to hire some polite staff who doesn’t get angry if a customer ask them a question about a dish worse experience ever

The restaurant was almost full, but a very kind staff member found us a table in a minute! Our order was taken very quick and arrived on the table very quick as well. Everything was more than delicious! Thank you Amore guys for everything!

Lovely Italian. went here for my birthday. Wasn't disappointed. Large portions for starters on pre theatre menu! Pasta was amazing. Lovely atmosphere always very busy. Compliments to the chef and waiting staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went here last night and my stomach has been in knots since. Bubbling and in pain. Also been sick twice in the night. The service was nice, but the food was not good quality and has made me ill. Lasagne tasted microwaved and the Jalepino poppers were soggy inside. I’ll never be back

As we’re from England we were dying to try the half and half option that everywhere else but us seems to have! We weren’t disappointed, the portions were perfect and the food quality was great. It cost us roughly £13 each which was great for the quality. The restaurant was absolutely packed, we booked a table for 3pm assuming we would miss the lunch rush hour but we were very wrong. If anything it just got busier! This - if anything, just proves how good this place is!

Had Xmas lunch here with work colleagues and it was absolutely excellent. When my colleagues pizza arrived, I’ll admit I thought I had made a mistake going for the turkey dinner. When my turkey arrived, it wasn’t the most attractive meal in the world but every part of it was perfection. The seasoning on the vegetables was out of this world and deserves a special mention. I had wings as a starter - they were ok but not much seasoning, just the breading. Staff were fast and attentive, especially for such a big table. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely the best Italian food we've had in Glasgow

It's a great place that gets packed every night , great for groups, however one couple did walk out for some reason , my only thing is that it doesn't have WiFi

The starters of crispy mushrooms were lovely but the portion was possibly just a little too big for a starter. I had the spaghetti with black pudding which was really good. Dessert was the Strawberry mess which I wasn't really impressed with. Nothing special and the sauce wasn't that nice. Poor substitute of an Eton mess. The waiter was not very cheery which didn't create a great birthday experience for myself. Not sure I would go back.

I had casareccia al pollo, mozzarella sticks, ice cream and tiramisu. Honestly it's so tasty, I've been there many times before and i can't wait to go again😍 The food is excellent, great service, the staff is friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is calm and cozy and the desserts are so so good!!! Amore it's one of my top Italian restaurants and i definitely recommend it.!!

I had the beef pasta with peppers, onion and tomatoes. I thought there was too much veg but the beef was lovely. My sister had lamb ragu which she enjoyed. The strawberry cheesecake was delicious. The atmosphere and service was great. The staff were lovely.

Another Amazing meal at my favourite restaurant Amore my husband had meatballs to start so tasty we had Focaccia Ihad Risotto Montecarlo one of my favourites done to perfection my husband had pene Delfemio pan fried chicken Delicious we also had a Strawberry mess to share sooo yummy drinks wine Aperol spritz sodawater lime Staff so friendly and welcoming very helpful and attentive great value for money you must try you Definitely Won't be disappointed 😋 X

Third time in a few months. Definitely my favourite Italian restaurant in Glasgow. Staff are lovely and food is fab 👌 So glad I discovered Amore 👍

Great value and really nice food

Extensive menu had us worried, but the food was great. Amore Combination starter was perfect for the table to sample. Carbonara was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Great setting for a family dinner.

Fantastic pizza, accommodating servers, inspiring atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great food , very nice restaurant.

We were seated immediately despite being a little early. The atmosphere was busy, but all staff were extremely attentive. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of red wine after a recommendation. The starter of focaccia we shared between two, and it was excellent! The main was great. And the cocktails were delicious! We had a great night.

A graduation lunch with family and friends was enjoyed by all. The service, food and surroundings were all of a very high standard. Will be back.

Excellent food and service in a cosy restaurant. Love the atmosphere and the menu has something for everyone.

Place is welcoming, has a great atmosphere. We ordered mussels and a prawn cocktail for staters, was excellent! Mains: ordered pepperoni pizza and a pasta dish. Honestly wasn’t the best. Pizza dough was quite tough, the chicken in the pasta had a weird texture. The cocktails and drinks were great. Service was tremendously slow. Service charge, not impressed with this, ask before adding it on, very American idea.

This is one of the best restaurants in glasgow I’ve been to. The staff are amazing,food is fabulous and great atmosphere.

It's an excellent restaurant the food is excellent and plenty of it there was 14 of us and we all enjoyed it, will be back again 😀

Bonnes pizzas, service efficace, mais très bruyant

We were a table of 18, service was exceptional & food was absolutely delicious. Everyone ordered something different and all dishes were incredible and all arrived within similar timings. Would recommend !

Excellent food, service and price!!.Went for my sons birthday and the staff could not have been anymore attentive,polite and organised despite it being really busy.

Food was lovely and well priced. Service was great also and although we'd booked for later they happily took us and fitted us in over half an hour earlier without any problem. Actually forgot just how nice this place was will be back again soon!

Had a lovely meal paid by card then realised we hadn’t been asked if we wanted to pay the 10% DISCRETIONARY service charge. This is the first time we have noticed this has happened and go here often. if they had asked we would have been more than happy to pay it but they didn’t even ask or mention BE AWARE

Was dissapointed with food pasta was to hard bruchetta was dry bread way tomatoes no dressing or glaze on it

We had the Saturday lunch menu and it was great. Meatballs with cheese and garlic bread, followed by spaghetti scozzese ( would go back for both ) . My partner had the minestrone then risotto . Red house wine Sangiovese was great as was service. Good atmosphere and it was full . I’d definitely go back

I've been here a few times for lunch with work colleagues It's a great place for lunch as service is efficient There is a fab lunch menu with up to 3 course options for under £20 We usually go for 1 course and come in at less than £15 a head with drinks I had the soup and sandwich option on this visit which was just perfect for lunch There's 2 soup options and 3 sandwich options Great value and very tasty

It was our 2nd night in Glasgow and my husband picked this restaurant for pizza. The pizza was goo, but Alessio made the night.

We had an enjoyable meal, a lovely atmosphere to the restaurant and good service.

Too many tables in the room, crowded. I ordered lamb chops and steak. We waited 40 minutes because the steak took time. Unfortunately, the lamb chops arrived undercooked and tasted like chewing gum. After submitting the complaint, we were told that it should have been reported at the very beginning. I am very disappointed with the approach. We won't come back
