Fabulous little deli with amazing coffee and authentic Italian everything 😀

Had an espresso and mixed meat toasted sandwich. Both were really great. The espresso had a pleasant flavour and good crema. The toastie you can see in the picture was a good size and very delicious.

I go here some mornings with my son as we go to the tennis club near, and this place is amazing, super nice staff and the best coffee!

The food is obviously very nice indeed but the prices are absolutely eye-watering. I felt like a bit of a mug being charged £7 for a pot of roast aubergines. It's a shame because the owner is extremely nice and the atmosphere is great, but I can't afford it!

We got in by curiosity and end up getting food take Way! felt like in Italy when i got inside the shop... thank you, the food was i what i spected Divino! Im coming back

They have best sandwiches in London

While the food is good (and overpriced) the staff are absolutely horrendous. There was this woman who literally verbally harassed me when I asked her about the sandwich prices. She said “Then don’t buy it, just leave” or something on the lines of that. I’ve never been treated that poorly as a customer ever…

Love their delicious chicken panini with pesto, tomatoes and cheese. Super friendly staff who also recommended a bottle of easy drinking Montepulciano.

Awful experience! Charged me more than menu price for coffees and sandwich as the lady said they hadn’t updated prices. I asked for a goats cheese pesto sandwich to take away as I’m vegetarian. Opened bag at Victoria as I was travelling on and it was Salami pesto and tomato. How does goats cheese sound like salami! Felt sick. Waste of money!

Great local cafe and delicatessen store, with friendly staff and great quality food

A corner of Italy in east Finchley. They are so kind: when I visit they always offer me the coffe and some treats for my son. They have an amazing selection of italian products, from seasonal cakes to deli vegetables, meat and cheeses and they can prepare a sandwich to your specs, just like at an italian "pizzicagnolo"... You must go if you are in the area.

The quality of their stuff is excellent, that is undeniable and as an Italian I've been ending up here a lot in the past 5 years. Unfortunately, we just can't afford it anymore. £18 is what I was charged today for what you see in this photo. That is an astronomic amount. Once again, if you're looking for 100% Italian quality products this store is a great option for you, but be ready to spend.

Clear king of the highroad, amici is and always will be home of the greatest sandwich in the world. Beautiful Italian imports, friendly service, and very good pricing. You would have to be a maniac to go to subway with amici close by.

Proper Italian food, authentic cured meats and cheese and lots of sweets and snacks you can't find easily in London

The best place to have breakfast or lunch in East Finchley, we moved a few years ago but we still go there as is absolutely delicious! Btw, also you can buy things to make your own breakfast at home. PERFECT!

Lovely, great food and friendly staff

My favorite place for lunch in East Finchley. Coffee is Cheam and good, for cost a bit more but is delishious. The place also has a real character and the enterior is very cool, woth loads of football and cycle tops hanging from the sealing. The shop also has loads of Italian food that is just fantastic.

You can get buratta here. What more could you want?

If I could give this cafe 0 stars I would for the rudeness of the staff. Telling us point blank that they were closed at 2.30 on a Sunday with a full cafe. Clearly says 3pm closing on the door. Rubbish!!

Wow wow. I have very high standards for Italian food being Italian. These sandwiches are out of this world! The owner is so lovely, and nice to talk to. The ciabatta was fresh and when toasted the texture was soft and crunchy. I asked for a mortadella with mixed veggies and he layered it with goodness. Cappuccino was delicious as well. Very nice coffee. Lots of Italian ingredients to buy as well, cookies, cakes, pastas, etc what’s not to love?!

This place is so overpriced.. Bread was obviously from the previous day..Once bitten, twice shy ! I won't be going back here..

They don’t make sandwiches, they make art over here! The most INCREDIBLE sandwiches I have had, even for the Italian standard this is absolutely delicious! Wide selection of veggies, pickles, cheeses and cured meat, also, great sense of humour. A real Italian experience.

Very friendly staff serving 100% Italian sourced food. Loads of football shirts hanging from the cieling which is a bit weird.

It is a small space but packed with quality imports, the cured meats and cheese are delicious, the sandwiches are out of this world, and the owner and staff are extremely friendly. This is the place that makes me regret moving out of the area, a true little independent gem on a high street that's got chains creeping up on it slowly. If their sandwiches could be posted to me I would jump on that bandwagon any day.

Great Italian with good coffee and food.

This is a really lovely café and delicatessen with authentic Italian products and food. The owner is a very talkative friendly Italian man who will get to know you if you are a regular. The panninis are very tasty and far far better than any in Costa or Nero nearby. This is genuinely Italian café food at its finest.

Wonderful slice of Italy with such a friendly owner and staff who always make time to welcome you - Amici is an integral part of the East Finchley community! We always stop by for toasted panettone at breakfast time and deli treats for the weekend suppers. Highly recommend!

A fearsomey expensive Italian Deli. Good coffee, cake and (portuguese) custard tarts though.

OK for a few weeks. Started going regularly recently and their attitude changed from good positive to bad,very i don't care ur our regular paying desperate for a coffee ,cash in our till customer and,slack attitude, bad sarnie as time went on with bad lettuce in sarnie,for a fiver not good.rubbish eye contact now ,waiter said he doesn't care, bad attitude, waitress shirty attitude, said too busy to talk to me,we all work love but I'm not rude like u all were to me today. Terrible and very disloyal considering I have been a regular paying customer. Don't take good customers for Granted I say or u will lose those paying customers and you will end up caring Mr waiter when you lose your job .

The owner it is so rude. We went for a coffee and he got upset because we didn't order any food. Small place, no internet connection and a rude owner. Worst experience in East Finchley. [Update] I went again, this time was a very good experience. Excellent sandwiches.

Phoned to speak to the owner about a product, to sew if was in stock. He told me he was too busy to talk and hung up! Shocking customer service!

Generally a good place to eat, good sandwiches, coffee and cappuccino and good service from a very friendly staff but generally pricey. Also be careful not to fall into the trap the staff and owner use to make you spend more money when you are already committed to buy. I try not to buy what they offer as principle. Excellent place to socialize and meet friends.

Fantastic Deli! Great coffee and homemade pesto. Varied selection of italian pastas and groceries that you can't get in supermarkets. Very funny owner as well.
