Ambiance Bar and Restaurant in Fylde

I booked a cocktail class for a friend’s 40th birthday and it was excellent, fantastic service, went over and above. Both waiters were very experienced and knowledgable, quality drinks.From all the bars we visited this was by far the best. Such a shame it’s closing to be refurbished as a restaurant. I will return

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ambiance Bar and Restaurant. We received a warm and friendly greeting from Chef Antony who walked us through his new Caribbean menu, inspired by his Grandma's cooking. All the food is prepared freshly on site from base ingredients, even down to the dips and sauces.To start, we had the mixed Mini Patties and Coconut King Prawns, followed by Lamb Pilau and a special of Jerk Chicken Tacos, accompanied by a mix of sides. The food was delicious, plentiful and good value.For drinks we took advantage of the bar's 241 cocktail offer, with the rum-based cocktails complementing the food very well. This restaurant and chef deserve your support, so try something new and give it a go!Thank you Antony for a fantastic evening.

We recently dined at Ambiance in the restaurant upstairs. We were served by not only the lovely Amber, but the tremendously talented chef Antony who introduced us to their new Caribbean cuisine and gave his recommendations from the menu.Not only was the food extraordinary (particularly the jerk chicken which is the chef's own recipe and is nothing short of to die for) but the service we received was attentive and polite, in a nice cosy atmosphere. Chef Antony delivered a dining experience unlike any other we have experienced. His menu incorporates all of his own recipes, using his own methods and he delivers these with passion and very high exacting standards. Absolutely recommend this restaurant headed by a chef who clearly knows his stuff.We rely on Ambiance for fantastic and refined cocktails, excellent atmosphere and a fantastic spot for night life. The bar and service team are all exceptional at what they do and never fail to make our evening special.

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The chef Anthony has introduced a new Caribbean menu in the upstairs restaurant. He uses free ingredients & he’s complied the recipes himself. The jerk chicken with rice & peas is the best I’ve ever tasted. Oh & the prices are very reasonable too. I’ve attached a copy of their new menu

We popped in for a quick cocktail whilst seeking shelter from the rain in Lytham. We were 'wowed' by wonderful service and cocktails. We can't wait to visit again, I can't wait to bring my husband, he will just love it.

Absolutely great! A little bit hard to find as it's upstairs and you have to walk through the bar downstairs to get to it. But don't let that put you off. Our new favourite restaurant in Lytham!

Terrific food served by a delightful young lady. Food was excellent and it was fun to see the open barbecue kitchen in action. The owner /cheff was brilliant. will be a favourite on our local list.

Superb, excellent and flavoursome food, value for money, can't fault, looking forward to going again.

Beautiful meal with good friends, would highly recommend to anyone. Excellent Turkish tapas menu with a wide variety to select from.

First visit with family and our 5 year old! Gorgeous meal in gorgeous surroundings! Excellent service, we were well looked after and our little boy got his very own little strawberry cocktail! Can't wait to return! Thank you :-)

I celebrated my birthday at Ambiance and it couldn't have gone any better! I asked the owner Metin if I could reserve the back booth for 12 of my friends and have tapas served whilst we chilled with cocktails (and a free glass of prosecco!). I even got to choose the selection of tapas. The music was perfect (of course we had a dance!), the food was so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. As I'd discussed it all beforehand with the owner, all I had to do on the night was show up. My friends and I had an epic evening and Metin and his staff were so helpful. Will certainly be returning

Met a couple of friends for a drink downstairs, been pat countless times but first time in. First off the music was way too loud, we decided to move on after our first drink but then they toned the music down. Good atmosphere and great barman, on the ball. We then went up for our meal, beautiful decor and lovely waitress. The wine was good but the food took a long time to arrive, not only at our table but everyone was waiting in the restaurant. Lots of lovely smells and smoke from the kitchen and then eventually our large plate of tapas. Extremely tasty, but could have been a bit more on the plate. Other plates of food on other tables looked good, with good portions. The jury is out on wether I would eat there again, like the food, but not waiting so long. Cocktail bar very good, but too loud for me.

Decided to call in for a drink and a bit to eat and was more than pleased with the decision. Great place, great atmosphere, great food and extremely friendly and warm staff. Well worth a visit

Another night out to Lytham and after a nice meal elsewhere we ventured back to our favourite later evening bar...great atmosphere, interesting fun bar staff, and awesome music...a great way to end the evening!!

We chose to go here for my friends birthday , we were greeted by the lovely staff when we arrived , we had the mezes they were beautiful and so tasty , the ezme was really good and the prawns were delicious , we both really enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back to eat there again

What a lovely evening! We were greeted at the door, by a lovely young man, whom offered us drinks at the bar, but we said no as we wanted to wait for the rest of our guests to arrive (we were a party of 5).As soon as everyone was seated, we chose off of the cocktail menu & put full use to the happy hour, 2 for £8 on the same cocktail. Our food arrived not long after, starters & mains..each of which were delicious! Just one chef on on the evening, and he seemed more than capable! Lovely service & lovely food.. I'm sure we will be returning when we next have a special occasion! A lovely laid back atmosphere!The only issue was, the lack of music upstairs.

Visited for a meal 19 October. Having never been to a Turkish restaurant the food was most enjoyable, great to try lots of small dishes opened our minds up to a different culture.

Stoped off for drinks after meal out with friends great atmosphere very lively the DJ was great played a mixture of music all good

Had an amazing time here! Arrived at The bar downstairs at around 8pm and the atmosphere is fantastic great music, proper cocktail waiters friendly staff! We'd booked a table for 9.30 and the food was excellent...the Graham Norton Sauvignon blanc is a must try..We didn't leave till closing it is the best bar in Lytham! Can't wait to go again!!!

We dined here on Wednesday evening and the food was fabulous! The menu offers such an array of dishes to suit all tastes and appetites!! We had a selection of three dips to start with...each one was so freshly prepared with the most delicious flavours....and the bread which accompanied it was amazing!! For mains we had the lamb chops and the chicken kebab...both were served with a mix salad and Turkish rice....the rice was particularly impressive due to its unique taste and flavour! The whole meal was a great experience and it really had the authentic Turkish feel and taste! A welcome addition to Lytham...it makes a change to the many Italian restaurants in the area. We'll be back!

Fantastic service and the food was some of the best I have tasted in a long time, we opted for the meze and the shared a platter of food fit for a king, it really was genuinely that tasty, only negative and that was our mistake not the service was we should have ordered dips to go with the food as it would of just finished it off perfectly for us.The Turkish rose wine was also a hit with my wife as was the homemade apple crumble for me Overall fantastic food, great service and will recommend to others for sure

Visited on a Friday night with 8 friends. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had starter and main for £20. Only downside was that the food came out with a bit of a delay between the first people's and the next few. Downstairs bar was very loud so got a little tricky to hear all the table so we moved on for drinks after the meal. Food very tasty though and would go back.

It was a Wednesday evening so, expecting the restaurant to be quiet. Pleasantly, surprised to see that there was a number of people. Myself and a friend were quickly shown to a small table at the front over looking Henry street.There was one waiter on duty serving three or four tables. He was very pleasant and attentive. We chose to order a number of smaller dishes and to eat them between us. This gave us a great chose.The food arrived on a large platter. The food was of good quality and very well prepared.Frankly, too much! Very generous portions.We left to join the salsa evening in the bar below. That made a good night a great one!(Q) would I return? (A) Most definitely and as frequent as possible..

Food was excellent quality and portions were very generous for tapas. Amazing value at 5 dishes for £19. Drinks were reasonable too. Service was efficient and friendly and the place itself is smart.

Open plan , great when weather is fine as all the front opens up spilling out the wonderful fun atmosphere out onto the side street.the interior decor, is really nice and it is a lovely place to enjoy a drink with friends. They have theme nights throughout the month, something for everyone. Staff extremely friendly.well worth a visit.

Excellent. The staff and management are very welcoming. Good prices, amazing food. Great little bar that plays excellent music, Lots of generations in one place at the same time, enjoying themselves. Decor and toilets are great also. Enjoyed my evening very much

An impromptu visit although we know Lytham well, we didn't know this place had opened.The bi-folding doors at the entrance gave it a feel as if you're abroad and lured us in.The bar staff and waiters/waitresses were both charming and welcoming but as we were only going to have drinks we stayed in the bar area.There's a good range of drinks to choose from and are reasonably priced akin to other surrounding bars.Whilst the setting and set up is fantastic, the one major thing that let it down for us was the random music being played!!For such a trendy looking place the music being played was very outdated and actually meant we didn't stay for a 3rd round.

Lovely cocktails, over priced even for Lytham prices but they were made to order as not on menu. Spotless in the bar and toilets (always a good marker)

Visited for the second time for my husbands Birthday! Lovely atmosphere, very pleasant staff, great cocktails! Food menu looked amazing, can't wait to try the restraunt!

Always a good atmosphere, great music and the staff very attentive even at the busiest times of the evening...been back there twice now.

Visited at lunch time and we shared a number of meze plates - including humous, meatballs, feta parcels and chicken. All were delicious and very well presented. The staff are lovely. Very friendly and efficient. There's also a great little restaurant upstairs which we'll definitely go to. We love Turkish food. It's tasty but feels clean and healthy and it makes a nice change from the other Italian offerings in the town. Tried Turkish red wine for the first time too and it was really good. I would highly recommend it and we will be back.

Visited with friends and family on a quiet midweek evening and dined in the upstairs restaurant. Both the food and service were absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend Ambiance. As a main I had the lamb chops, they were superb.

We went in here for a drink on a busy Thursday night in Lytham and decided to try the food. The service in the bar was very good and the decor is lovely, the restaurant is upstairs and again very tastefully done and it had a welcoming warm feel to it. You can eat downstairs in the bar too.The menu is Turkish hot and cold meze plus a choice of main courses. We had a mix of meze and when it came the food was really well presented and tasted great. Again service was very good and the waiter gave us some advice with what to choose off the menu. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and visit again.
