A pesar de que había poco ambiente, este lugar me sirvió con una ensalada muy sabrosa y falafel, semillas de granada, verduras cortadas en trozos pequeños, aderezo sabroso, sin embargo, necesitaba un pedazo de pan con esto. Los postres estaban para morirse.

Café realmente encantador que ofrece comida excelente y una bienvenida muy cálida. A pesar de las restricciones de Covid - 19, el propietario ha hecho grandes esfuerzos para garantizar que la cafetería siga siendo acogedora y amigable, y ha funcionado notablemente bien. El cuidado y la atención que se le da a la comida y a los clientes es insuperable, y merece la pena hacer un viaje especial para comer aquí.

Un grupo de siete sin miembros veganos. . A todos les ENCANTÓ la comida. El servicio fue excelente, todo el personal fue amable y agradable. Había una muy buena variedad de comida para satisfacer nuestras necesidades. No puedo tener suficiente de este lugar, volveré lo antes posible.

We've been to AV a number of times for lunch, coffee and cake, aswell as for dinner and we always leave happy. Staff make you feel like you're part of the family and the food is excellent. I'm vegan but have brought a number of meat eating friends and family here and they've all been impressed by the quality of the food. Last night we visited for a birthday meal and my partner had asked them to make a birthday cake for me in advance and they kindly agreed. The staff made the most delicious vegan Victoria sponge I have ever tasted! I even had a slice for breakfast this morning. This is such a lovely family run business that deserves all the support in the world!

Vinimos aquí esta noche para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi madre. La comida es vegana y totalmente deliciosa. Teníamos pizza de pato, aros de cebolla, hamburguesa de pollo, todo vegano, por supuesto. Un ambiente tan cálido y agradable y un personal amable. ¡Gracias!

Second time i've been in a month for special events including a buffet. The food is fantastic and plenty of it. There is variety and goes to show vegan food can be comforting as well as healthy. The chocolate truffle cake was the best i've ever had, you don't need dairy to make a premium product, quality craftsmanship from artisans trumps ingredients. Looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely delighted with this! We all went for a works meal and to start off with I was reluctant, but my word was I blown away with the choice, quality and attention to detail! There was not a single person who regretted what they had ordered, which is rare for a group our size! The staff were amazing, really friendly and totally professional. I would absolutely recommend this delightful little eatery to anyone! I will definitely be coming back as I am a local and this experience has totally changed my view of vegan food! Came here (for the second time) for a work meal and, as expected, the food was great and the service was lovely. Group was made up of mainly non-vegans who were pleasantly surprised by their choices. Can’t recommend Alternatively Vegan enough. Please go and give this business your custom, they deserve it! V. Philly Cheese Steak is a must.

I'm a bit like Ken Barlow, this cafe is a few 100 yards from my house yet I come here for coffee or lunch at least once a week. Great with friends, also nice to sit and read on your own. Such a nice place to be. Food, price and the friendliest atmosphere are all unbeatable. Look out for special events such as comedy nights with amazing buffets, Fine Dining with proper posh chefs, and vegan festivals. And if that wasn't enough, Angie also prepares and donates meals for homeless people in Leeds. No wonder she's been nominated for The Good Food Awards! Try this fab place out and then consider giving Angie your vote , she and her team deserve it.

The food here is so delicious! It is an absolute must visit for anyone who likes good food, not just for vegans! The food is so tasty and there is a real range. The coffee is divine too! The place is cute and quaint, with a little fireplace to sit around and read one od rhe many healthy vegan books on the bookshelf! With that, the staff are so friendly and helpful too!

This was our third visit to this lovely little cafe. Initially we were just getting a drink but we noticed the menu had expanded. I had the Mac and cheese and husband had the chilli bowl. Both were delicious. A decent mug of tasty coffee was had too. But...the service was just amazing just beautiful people delivering beautiful food. I overheard carefull explainations to several customer about the food . Despite it being really busy I didn't feel rushed. And it's reasonable Check their Facebook website.

First visit here. Delicious vegan food and staff absolutely delightful. Very family friendly, visited with my 2 young grandsons who were made very welcome. Will certainly become regular visitors.

I have now been to this cafe many a time and am now a regular customer. The food is consistently very delicious! Especially their own made cakes! I took my dad for Father’s Day afternoon tea. It was the best afternoon I have had it included - sandwiches ham and cheese (vegan) with tomato and pickles. Olives. Canapés. Scone with jam and cream. Cheese cake two types. Chocolate shortbread. Grapes. Crips. A pot of tea we had but coffee was also available. It was an excellent feast. My dad has never experienced aftenoon tea before and he loves cake and a cuppa tea bless him so he had the most wonderful experience that afternoon.

I have had a few meals here. Always super! The meat burgers are simply delicious, so are the breakfasts.

We have been here 2-3 times now and always enjoy a brilliant meal. A lot of diversity in the menu which gets added to even more as time goes by. Angi and the staff are always friendly. Looking forward to eating here again soon!

Booked for a family meal, excellent honest service with the most welcoming smiles. A good choice of vegan meals including vegan drinks even though you can BYOB. Fantastic value, me and my family love it so much we just keep going back for more.
