Aloosh in Lewisham

This is a top shawarma meal. Had spicey rice all the trimmings. Everything tasted great and with a drink it was a top meal for less than a tenner. They have good fiver lunch deals here and the guy running it does a good job. Great food, service and price. That’ll do.

Anyone that has lived in New Cross knows Aloosh was a force to be reckoned with when Sal was in charge. Couldn’t be more excited to see him back in there running the show today and the food is back to a 10/10. Honestly the best Lebanese in south London what a treat ahead of the summer

I'm a funny customer and I ask for a slightly personalised combination - without rice and chips - and they are always super accommodating. Great value, delicious chicken, lamb, salads and sauces.

I absolutely love Aloosh for two main reasons: 1 - the food is really good and authentic. I recommend....all of it! My personal favourite is the lamb shish and tabouleh salad...my mouth is watering just thinking about it 🤤 2 - the service is always so great and Salah is so friendly and humble. You feel like you’re visiting an old friend. Sitting in is always nice when it’s possible but take away is great too.

My friends and I have been coming to Aloosh every Monday for the past month or so. We always get two hot mixed mezze plates and one cold mezze plate to share and baclava to finish. Every time it is delicious and the owner always mix's up to spice things up. Really nice atmosphere and all round good vibes. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

The main man Sal is very polite and committed to his work. The service he'll give you is the kind of service which is hard to come by. Great food, clean restaurant and amazing man/owner.

Had a shawarma meal with the missed . Very tasty. Meat was succulent and full of flavour and good size portions. Sat in and ate -owner was friendly and nice. Only tricky bit is parking but as it was Sunday there are bays spotted around you can find. Will definitely be visiting again

Place came recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint!! Mixed donner with spicy rice and baklava. The lamb and chicken were delicious, very little fat and an amazing taste!! Friendly staff and great food- a lovely place!

I go here regularly and everything I've had is top notch - chicken shish, lamb kofte, falafels - but the king is the house-made lamb shawarma. Incredible flavour, superbly seasoned, tender slices with crispy edges, and such good value. Friendly and welcoming service too - go to Aloosh asap!

This was one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve had so many lamb and chicken shish meals in the last few months that have been really nice but this lamb shish blew my mind away! The marinade and the tender meat and wrap itself was unreal. Staff were so welcoming. If you don’t go here your mad!!!! Seriously awesome!

My 2nd visit with 3 mates (I was paying). The food was immense, every dish had its own distinctive flavour. Fresh salad and excellent service. The Bavclava was to die for too. Aloosh food is so good I had to write my first Trip Advisor review.

Sal served me a tea (was freezing outside and I had time to wait for a train) and I spied his food so he offered me a taste.....20 quid later my belly was jumping for joy and satisfied! Such flavour! Don’t go anywhere else xx Sal was super helpful and very friendly- helped me organise a surprise delivery to my boyfriend in two ticks and he’ll be over the moon! The flavours! I always visit Aloosh as it is the most amazing place for grill food. The staff are so freindly and very welcoming. It's not just any grill food i mean the flavour on the meat is just heavenly. I would most definately recommend this place...

Moved to the area a few months ago and tried all the local kebab shops, this one is by far the best. Very nice staff who remember your orders and take real care over making your food. Always welcomed with a smile. Delicious fresh food...

I come to buy kebab takeaway as often as I can. Finding a real fresh lamb kebab from lamb steaks in London is not easy. This one is fresh and tastes delicious. Worth a try.
