This used to be a great pub, small and cost offering regular poker and pool nights. Since it became a split (bar and restaurant area) it has become too small to enjoy a casual drink in especially on a weekend night. Foot is standard pub grub, ok but wouldn't specifically recommend it. The all you can eat breakfasts are good value for money however you can only full your plate once so if you want to eat all you can...pile high the first time round!

Fantastic local pub Cosh and Nicola are brilliant hosts who will go above and beyond for you. There's a good selection of drinks available and they also have games nights where you can have a go at there quiz or play cards,darts and pool. Highly recommend to anybody in the area

Hardly open, miserable staff, not much atmosphere, it's a good job they have sport on TV, this pub is shut most of the time, so you never know what to expect. Not even doing Sunday lunch anymore. Think this pub is being run into the ground what a shame it could have great potential under the right management, especially as its in a prime location with plenty of car parking space available.

Went to the pub 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday evening for some food and was told they no longer serve food. Beer good though.

Its okay the pub is modern inside and it wasn't too busy when I was there. There is a pool table inside and there is plenty of room to use the pool table which makes a nice change. There was hardly any background music from what I remember I'm assuming it was turned down quite low but some people might prefer this.

Visited family so booked tale, only carvery on offer on Sunday but it was fine, a choice of 3 meats, 6 veg, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing & Yorkshire pudding with gravy for £7.95 so worth it.

Nice friendly pub felt welcomed and service was good. Thete was a children's party / football presentation on in the back room when we visited but this did not spoil our enjoyment of the pub.

I was working in the area for 10 months or so and along with friends and my brother spent a bit of time in various establishments before settling on the All Inn as our local. This was due to the relaxed ambience, food, friendly owners and staff as well as a good outside area to sit when the sun was going down. There is a fine selection of beer and ales including various micro brewary offerings and is very good to catch up on your sport on TV. Also quiz nights. Very impressed and will call in any time i am in the area.

We had attended a canal event in Staveley and found the only food options were crepes and very greasy burgers. We decided to starve.On leaving the venue we toured Staveley looking for somewhere to eat. But Staveley isn't the world's most attractive town and we were running out of options when we spotted the All Inn. It looked worth a try as we were starving.It proved to be a good choice. The pub had a good range of Welbeck Abbey beers and the menu looked OK.The food took a while to arrive but was well worth the wait. We are talking pub grub here, but it was good pub grub and well priced. Our bill for 2 people with drinks was £21.A downside was this was World Cup time and the pub had a couple of TVs. But the volume was turned off and they weren't an annoyance.We would go again.

We visited here for an early Father's Day meal with my girlfriend's family. They replied to our questions promptly on Facebook, the bar has a great selection of drinks and the food was to die for! There is something on the menu for everyone and it was brought out piping hot and delicious. Would definitely visit again!

Food wasn't great. It was served on a cold plate but I am too shy to ask for another plate. As I felt a little intimidated by the owner. Sitting at the bar puffing away on his ECIG. I didn't want to breath in those chemicals even if they are water vapor. Heard good things about this place but will never go back. Terrible.

Go here most Sundays usually six of us friendly staff and good food would and do recommend it to anyone.

My pie was ordered with mushy peas but was served with garden peas and on a cold plate.Treacle tart was ordered with clotted cream but was served with vanilla ice cream.And why does the owner/barman have to sit at the bar vaping?Say what you like but vaping is only done for one reason and that is to substitute nicotine from smoking tobacco and I don't want to breathe the chemicals from vaping.

We visited here on recommendation and it does not disappoint. We were greeted by friendly staff and after ordering drinks were showed promptly to our table. We all had the Mother’s Day menu which had starter and dessert options and a carvery for mains. Our table ordered the leek and potato soup and ham hock terrine for starters and both dishes were beautiful! The carvery for main was delicious, everything was piping hot and plentiful. The red cabbage in particular is one to try as you will not be disappointed and this and the stuffing were my favorite. Four choices of meat and all cooked to perfection. For dessert (and yes it hard not have one when they are show cased right near your table in a glass cabinet!) we had the Oreo cheesecake, lemon meringue pie and the chocolate cake. Happy faces all round and if you like cheesecake then this one is a must, very light and good portion. Nice little special touch too for mums as our desserts were free! Compliments to the chef and the staff. Great little find and will be returning soon!

Excellent ambience and atmosphere. Food is delicious and friendly staff. Show major sports events on two screens, quiz and games nights. Burns night soon.

Family came up, so we booked tables & 6 adults & 5 children enjoyed various excellent dishes from the All Inn new menu. The previous chef was very good, the new one as good if not better. The kids' meals @ £6 were good & even the smallest ones ate most of the ample portions: the 2 sausages were really large. They each had an ice cream included in the price. I had a steak & ale pie - plenty of meat, delicious pastry + mushy peas & mash. 2 of our party really relished the lasagne, which included pancetta & chorizo as well as the beef. One of our granddaughters had succulent pork ribs, another the juicy blade of beef, while her husband had a massive Bacon jam burger. For puddings we had treacle tart, cheesecake & Eton Mess. We had a variety of drinks, from Chilean Sauvignon blanc to "Two Hoots", one of several real ales available. Very reasonable prices. Very pleasant staff.

My family and I, we like to try different places for the Sunday Carvery when we're here on holiday.

My daughter and I called at the All Inn for a carvery today and it was delicious. We are both ceoliac and asked for gluten free gravy which they were happy to make and fetched it in gravy boats for us, which was also delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for their customers...I would definitely recommend. I suggested that they sell a gluten free dessert other than ice cream, so I'll certainly be looking forward to visiting again and seeing if there is a dessert for us. Lovely comfortable place to eat with your family.

First time at the All Inn. We both had the all day breakfast. The quality of the food was excellent. Service excellent too. Will definitely be back to try the Carvery at some point.

We wanted somewhere to eat around Staveley so looked at TripAdvisor and saw the good reviews about here. We were not disappointed and returned with other family members about a week later. Carvery was good value for the price, pensioners two course meal very good value and quality, staff very friendly and helpful, and cakes looked lovely but we were too full to try them.

First visit..very impressed ..great food at the right price....

I had been told by a few people to try the All Inn for it's carvery and I now know why. It is quite possibly one of the worst places I have eaten and the people who recommended it must be laughing their heads off that they fooled me into going. The food was very poor and together with the drinks it was a very expensive day out for me & the girlfriend. 2 X carvery + 2 X pints = £22.00 I shall not be going again and would advise anyone that there better and cheaper alternatives in the Chesterfield area.

After many good reports we decided to try the carvery when we went to get the food the beef resembled spaghetti as it was really stringy and wasn't even sliced just scooped up from the bottom of the plate my boyfriend asked for a little bit of all meats and god it was a little bit !!!

I drove past on the way to KFC ... (which was so filthy I walked out) ... I decided to go back and try the All Inn.

We had a good lunch for both adults and our grandchildren the staff were very attentive the children especially enjoyed the puddings

We have now been here several times now and the carvery is always lovely and fresh, the staff are very friendly and there is generally a nice feel to the place, The desserts are to die for. Thank you

The all day breakfast and carvery were very popular especially two carveries for £10. We chose off the menu and the burgers and suet pudding were all really good. The service was very good and friendly. Nice and clean outside areas as well.

Yet again visited the All Inn good service and a lovely Steak various themed food nights definitely worth a visit !

Visited on our way home from Poolsbrook Country Park. It looks recently renovated and has been done nicely and tastefully decorated. Friendly, helpful staff. The carvery was one of the best we've ever had and offered very good value for money. It may be worth knowing that there is no 'normal' menu on Sundays, just the carvery (well they did on the Sunday we went, not sure if this changes or not). On first look, it appears much smaller than other carveries but there is still plenty of choice. It was delicious and we are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you :-)

Nice roast meats, good selection of veg, good price at £6:95 for Adults and £4:95 for children. This is not your regular Carvery however where you can return to the server for more veg.

We visited on Steak night and it wasn't too busy. Easy to find a table and order. The menu was ok. Lots of steak as expected. However the 10oz Rump had sold out. Being as it was steak night I thought they would have ordered more in as its the cheapest option for a steak and might attract many customers. However the steaks we ate were lovely and you have the added bonus of a free drink in with the price.

Visited with my mum as we both fancied a carvery .. this was our third visit to the all inn .. as we entered we received a lovely friendly welcome .. ordered drinks ( mango cider) soooo nice .. and paid for carvery .. loads of tables to decide where to sit .. there was a choice of beef gammon or turkey .. the meat serving was plentiful very generous amounts which just melted in your mouth loads of veg to choose from all cooked to perfection and all hot .. the gravy was gorgeous .. table service was brilliant very attentive and courteous from the staff and sooo friendly .. will definitely be returning .. three visits all faultless .. see you soon and thankyou

Having recently moved into the area and looking for a local, myself and my friends visited several pubs in the area and are very happy to have settled on The all inn, Excellent décor, friendly staff and Landlady and Landlord. Excellent choice of beers especially the all inn gold. Friendly Customers with quiz nights thrown in. Excellent facilities, outside area, picnic tables and handy parking with well priced and very appetising food We as a group are very happy to recommend the all inn and are sure that any visitors will not be disappointed.

I've just started working in the local area and I stumbled across this gem. An amazing place where all the staff are brilliant. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good choice of real ales. The food looks amazing and that's my next review. Don't pass this place by whatever you do.

We visit regularly for a Sunday Carvery and we have never been disappointed yet. The food is beautiful with the meats being cooked just like they should moist and tender, great selection of veg which are delish and the staff are lovely very friendly and helpful.

17 members of our family enjoyed a Mothers Day here. Food and drinks were all excellent. The staff, as usual, were very friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing. Ordered sirloin steak as the carvery was only until 4pm. Steak tasted boiled and very pale. Obviously not pan seared. Chips over cooked and re warmed. Did get fresh chips when we complained. Cannot recommend steaks I'm afraid.

The carvery finishes at 6pm so that was a no go. We had steak which was pale and the chips were over cooked and tasted re warmed. On the positive side we asked for fresh chips and the staff were very accommodating. Maybe the carvery is excellent but I wouldn't return. I'm not a fussy eater but it was a real let down after all the fabulous reviews.

Called for Sunday carvery for the first time on 26th February. Pleasant and efficient staff, excellent food, nice atmosphere. Also called for breakfast the following Saturday. Again, excellent quality food and freshly cooked to order. Called for Sunday carvery again this week and just as good as the first visit. Not sure why we've never been before but we intend to be regulars

Visited today 20/2/17 for a carvery the pubs 1st night for serving a carvery on a Monday night. Absolutely top notch food great service and very friendly staff and owners. Highly recommended. 5*

Had the carvery which was lovely and very well priced! Lost a rating because we were sat right by a door to the kitchen which staff constantly came out of and banged the door. It was very disruptive to our meal, other than that the staff were lovely!

I often visit the All Inn for food. The quality of food is really good and the staff are very friendly. The internal decor is very nice, Service is quick and prices are very reasonable. If you've not been give it a try you won't be disappointed.

We haven't tried the carvery yet, but the meals off the main menu are very good, and whilst in with pals on a Wednesday evening for a drink, the food passing by on it's way to tables in the restaurant looks excellent. Wednesday is burger night and they look fantastic.

Me my husband and next door neighbour have visited the all inn on a few occasions and found that the food has been excellent each time in fact we love it that much we have booked for Christmas day dinner, the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Will recommend to anyone.

Called in here a few minutes after coming off the M1 heading for Chesterfield. This is a very well kept pub clean and well decorated. The bar has a range of real ales and it's very own special, highly recommended. The dining area is very comfortable situated separate from the bar area, the food is good basic pub food excellent on value and served very nicely. A great stop off place.
