We shared 5 mezze between 2 which was probably slightly too much. It’s expensive but the food is good and the portions deceptively large. I particularly recommend the hummus and spinach pastries. 4*s because it would be better if they offered vegan dessert.

Found this place when looking for a restaurant close to the London Palladium. Its small and cosy and evidently popular judging by the cross section of society who were eating here.Having never eaten lebanese food before we chose the set menu service was very quick and a jug of water was provided free of charge There were a good range of starters some we had not seen before the waitress explained what they were and they were most delicious mains and sweet were also included. The portion sizes were ample and we eat the best tasting humous we have ever had.I would highly recommend this place and we can't wait to eat here again If I were to complain about anything it would be the 12.5% service charge which is a pet hate of mine as I know the staff wages have been calculated when prices are set being served by staff is part of the meal unless they want the customer to go into the kitchen to serve themselves .I prefer to leave a tip which is a bonus not a right How many customers have also left a tip as well and found out the meal has cist up to 40% more. Many customers have occupations ie retail that don't get tips It would not out me off eating here but next time I will not pay the charge which incidently is not mandatory

The food (we had spicy hummus, falafel, and grilled prawns) was good. The service was excellent. The restaurant is small and was full at 7 PM with a happy crowd of diners. The music was conspicuously loud which, combined with the noise of the crowd, made quiet conversation impossible. Decibel level around 77 db, frequently going as high as 86db.

I had very high expectations given the positive reviews from both locals and tourists. I've had other opportunities to eat Lebanese cuisine recently, and I expected anything but soulless, spiritless food like what I ate here for dinner. With my girlfriend, I ordered five dishes to share: a fattoush without a drop of oil, without sumac, while the yogurt was too runny, without salt, without oil, without even a hint of garlic. In one word: sad. The rest of the food wasn't bad; perfect kibbeh, very good bread with nigella seeds, good moussaka. The food itself wasn't bad, I repeat, but it lacked all those components and that Mediterranean push given by olive oil, zaatar, sumac, garlic, etc

Visited on a buzzy Friday evening and enjoyed the vibe of this snug, bright restaurant with its friendly service. Preferred the taste of Lebanon sharing menu - huge portions and delicious hot and cold mezze and marinated grilled meats. Everything was fresh and tasty, nice Lebanese red wine too

We ate a superb feast of fresh mezze and delicious wine, presented by very friendly staff. Their vegetarian options were many and varied and the atmosphere was modern and relaxed. The grilled bread especially was so fresh and well spiced. Delicious!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at this restaurant. My friends and I visited for a night out and were immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere. We kicked off the evening with double G&Ts, fully aware of the prices but not too bothered. However, Marc, one of the owners, noticed our enthusiasm and graciously suggested that purchasing a bottle might be a more economical choice. His honesty and consideration were truly commendable, and we're grateful for his suggestion. Now, onto the food - it was absolutely delicious! We practically sampled the entire menu, and each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The service was also top-notch, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. In a world where honesty and integrity can sometimes be hard to come by, Marc's genuine approach was a breath of fresh air. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return for another fantastic dining experience. And no, I don't have any vested interests in this place - it's just that good!

We had our team dinner at this cozy little gem off Regent street. Food was authentic Lebanese and absolutely delicious. Everyone took some home as we had way too much food. Service was really hospitable. Everyone had a great time. Couldn’t have picked a better place highly recommend.

Outstanding, we ordered a range of different food that all had so many delicious flavours, the best of Lebanese. The atmosphere is lively on one of the most well regarded streets in Mayfair. The staff were very professional and exceptionally helpful. I went with friends for lunch for the first time, I would highly recommend Aline and will be looking forward going back very soon. Best wishes Daisy

I know my Lebanese food. Thought i'd give place a try. The place is small, the tables are small and the plates are very small. I like to go for the "banquet" menu or as it was called here "A taste of Lebanon". So we ,that's 2 of us are brought a small dish of Hummus and it's tasty. Also a small dish of fattoush and 3 small stuffed vine leaves. Yes 3. This is followed by a small piece of kibbeh and one small falafel each and 2 small pieces of jibneh each. I see why its called a taste of Lebanon now because a taste is all you get. On to the main course and for the two of us served on one plate is a skewer of chicken and a skewer of kofta with some rice and a little side salad. The food is tasty enough but there is barely enough for one person here. Desert is probably the worst baklava i've ever tasted. 3 dry tiny pieces of one and 1 different one. I mean there are two of use eating this couldn't we have 2 of the same? Finally there is yet another small portion of mouhalabieh served with two forks to share. Throw in a couple of beers and a couple of small glasses of tea and you end up with a bill of £102. Oh yes they've added a service charge of 12.5%. Lots of places are doing this and i find it very underhand. I know we are in London with all that goes with it but this meal was grossly overpriced and incredibly poor value. I would not recommend this place at all.

Super consigliato

Just off very busy Regent Street is this delightful small Lebanese restaurant. A real haven from the crowds and visited by three of us prior to attending concerts. The food was fresh, complexly flavoured and really tasty. Service was excellent and between 5.30 and 6.30 quiet. By the time we left at 6.40 the place was heaving and rightly so, it is well worth visiting if in the area and looking for something a little different.

Very good indeed. We booked for a Thursday lunchtime and were glad we did as it got quite busy. Not surprising it's busy as the food was excellent, atmosphere was warm and bustling, service was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back as soon as we can. Thank you!

What a find - wonderful Lebanese food, excellent value and in a handy central location. Everything beautifully cooked, from seabass to pumpkin kibbeh to falafel, with zingy fresh salad alongside. We had wine from the Bekaa Valley which went very well with the food. Service is helpful and friendly, and our waiter even said encouraging things about my not-very-good Arabic. Will definitely be back! Shukran!

Just enjoyed the heck out of Lebanese cuisine AND Lebanese wine at Aline! Early dinner with delicious hummus, amazing cauliflower, lamb skewer and tahin ice cream! Had never tried Lebanese wine before but can highly recommended the Heritage St. Elie! Baklava on the house - I will be back some day!

Aline was pleasant, lively room steps off Regent St. Good menu and service. Excellent sujok, The mixed grill was ample but lacked depth of flavor. The tables are also too small for the plates that can mount up at a Lebanese restaurant.

They start you off with complimentary lentil soup. So delicious, we knew the rest of the meal was going to be great. We ordered labneh and pickled beets as starters. It came with really nice flatbread with sesame seeds. My husband even liked the labneh, something he can usually take or leave. We devoured everything else too: foul medames (fava beans) fried halloumi, fattoush salad and chicken kebab. Even had leftovers for the next day. Service was good, would definitely go back.

Walked in for a quick lunch - got offered delicious Lebanese food prepared by a lovely family. They are using fresh ingredients and presentation is simple, yet the taste is mind blowing. If you like Middle Eastern cuisine and are around, visit this place. It’s basic but very tasty.
