Ali Baba's in Blaby

Good kebabs. I always order a chicken shish and it is delivered with plenty of meat and lots of fresh salad. We’ve also tried the chicken doner, which was equally as good. Sometimes takes a while to arrive if using the delivery service, but much quicker for collection.

Absaloutly discusting customer service. Ordered from here and they sent the wrong order, I phoned to explain and instead of solving the problem they accused me of being in the wrong. Will not be ordering from these rude people again

Incorrect food received, which was evident as the right order was on the receipt. I wasn't too bothered it was wrong, as easily rectified, my issues was the attitude I was presented with by the chefs and ?owner. I was shouted at and told I was incorrect, which turned into an argument. They appeared annoyed with me for just stating the obvious. As I left the shop I and crossed the road I could still hear them shouting about me. Probably the most rudest arogent customer service I have ever experienced, and if you feel shouting it's acceptable as a group of men towards a women, then perhaps you need to re learn basic interpersonal skills. I would be annoyed if it was the best food I've every experienced, but its only mediocre.

Standard food nothing special some food is good but onion ring and small fries 🍟 felt like they was just banged in a paper bag and when having a kebab with sauce it feels like a mess as the sauce is just banged on without any care .they are normally very quick which is a plus.

Orderd a burger meal the buns mouldy on the burger I rang to complain all they would offer was a new bun not Evan a whole new burger very rude staff wouldn’t recomend these too anyone why would I put my burger in another bun after it’s touched mouldy bread disgracefull

Just had our first ever pizza after always going to Dominoes. Have to say we were absolutely chuffed with the standard of the pizzas we ordered. Simply delicious, ready on time and piping hot. I love their chicken Shish kebabs but always bought my pizzas from Dominoes because they are the best, right? Wrong! Blown away by the quality and the price, outstanding value! The wife and I have found a new favourite pizzeria and it’s 5 minutes from home, sorry Dominoes but you need to drop your prices substantially to tempt us back. The staff are great too, very patient on the phone, went through the menu with me and gave me time to make my choice. Just great😊

Taking the piss during the hard times we are currently in with portion sizes and quality, pic below is of a large kebab and very burnt bread!!! Sauce was tasteless and chips soggy!!! Will never use again!

Delivery order was 45 min late with no call explaining they were running late, when food arrived it was cold and we had to re heat it. Once reheated food tasted ok.

Waited for over an hour past the advised time and still not delivered, tried ringing and was constantly engaged so finally gave up and ordered somewhere else and then it finally arrived 2.5 hours after ordering. my wife answered the door and thought it was from the other takeaway we had ordered and paid the driver without realising and then we found half the order was missing anyway. still not been able to get them on the phone after calling 63 times. joke of a place

Didnt deliver part of my order that was paid for and was told they would not be sending it back out as they were too busy and offered me a free large fries next time. I use ali babas quite regularly but i will not be using them again after this. awful customer service!

Only thing that was nice was the garlic bread. The kebab meat was burnt, the pasta was dripping in oil. The chicken chunks that were in it were rock hard. Very disappointing.

Ordered from the menu for collection. I was over charged to begin with. When home I found that my kebab came without any bread and there was no salad. I was informed I'd have my next order free by eat of apology. I was happy with this. Until it came to ordering it when I was refused and told...nah tell him he can have a kebab for half price only. Not coming again guys.

Actually only ever ordered for delivery through Just Eat app, but the food is always delivered on time, as ordered and is great quality👍

The chicken burger I ordered came in lots of peices, also came with garlic mayo on all over it when I specifically ordered normal mayo as I don't like the garlic one, the chicken was ok but my burger was falling apart. Other then that the chips and kebab we're ok

I placed my order on Just Eat at 4.10. I was told my order would be delivered at 5.20, however my order arrived at 4.20. I was concerned as this was very fast. My suspicions were unfortunately correct. The chips were soggy and cold, the donner meat was awful, almost like greasy off cuts thrown into a tray, it was also stone cold. The pitta was also burnt. Very disappointed as never normally have a problem. Almost like they just wanted to get my order out the way.

first of all I asked for my food to be delivered at 16.45 but it was delivered 20 minutes early and was left in my porch to go cold. when I came to eat it, it was cold. Food quality would of been good if it wasn't for the early delivery. Overall a poor showing and will not order from here again.

I didn't get to try the food as it was delivered an hour late and I was asleep. After banging on the door for 5 minutes which woke me friend up, she went to Collect the delivery and found the driver giving our order to someone else. We got it back but as it was pat midnight, we were too tired to eat it. Shocking service and expect a full refund

Always order from here, at least once a week, placed an order and had to call and cancel 3 minutes later as I had a family emergency to attend to. Never cancelled before after using for over two years. I apologised and explained my situation. However, the man on the phone was extremely rude, not happy and said that next time I ordered on JustEat, he'd reject it. REALLY disappointed. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds at this restaurant and never had a bad word to say... until now.

Recieved a phonecall after i placed order to confirm the time & my ordered atill wasnt ready when i got there. When arriving home but chips were vile!! Like they had been fried 5 times, burnt burger bun with the wrong sauce! Stay away!! Vile & discusting

The food i ordered which was a pizza and kebab was beautiful, the food was pipeing hot and delicious..I will order take away food from no where else now, I'm glad my regular place was shut! I even rung the guy to thank him for such beautiful food, good service and fast delivery

Would give the food a zero if I could. Chips were greasy, cheap, bulk bought. Cheese on the chips tasted cheap and plastic. Donner meat was dry and tasted like it had been sat on a plate for 24 hours, sat in the tray and the grease from the chips had soaked it. Was absolutely vile and went straight in the bin! Best part of the meal was the can of Coke. Will be ringing up and letting the business know. Awful.. worst kebab meal I've ever had.

Restaurant must've been busy as they added 20 minutes to the delivery time, but they then manages to get it done and delivered 10minutes earlier than the first time they quoted. Everything was as I asked, excellent as usual

Ali Baba's always delivers, with delicious food, quick delivery times, and polite and friendly delivery staff. We order from them regularly and have never had a poor experience.

30 minutes were added to delivery time but came before the original time anyway! Food was hot and of good quality! Got what I asked for. Just I got Pepsi instead of coke but not a problem at all.

Order from Ali Baba's a lot, however I placed an order at 7pm this evening to collect at 7:20, and received a notification that they had hanged the delivery time to 8pm. I went at 8pm to collect and arrived home at 8:05 to find my food stone cold. When I called to complain the first woman couldn't speak very good English and I was passed around to 3 different people. I was offered fresh food and told that they were unaware my order was for collection which seemed ridiculous to me, and that it had been sat waiting for me to collect it. I was then told I couldn't have a refund because I ordered through just eat. The service wasn't very good and I could hear them all arguing about the situation whilst I was on the phone. Most disappointing takeaway I've had in a while.

Really lovely kebabs! Generous portions too.. we had a shish chicken and lamb kofte mix and a shish chicken and lamb doner mix.. so much meat! Salad fresh and crunchy, really enjoyed it thank you

When I ordered Just Eat show d that food would be with us within 40 minutes - we received our food after an hour and a half and a phone call to the restaurant, only to be told "it should be with you in 5 minutes". Another 15 minutes later our food finally turns up! Won't be in a hurry to order from here again.
