Went here for brunch with my partner and our dog. Eddie and Tessa and their staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. It was hard to choose with such a appetising menu. I had the eggs royale, and my partner had smashed avocado and eggs on sourdough. We both commented to each other that it's really good quality and up there with the best we've had. It's definitely a community hub with staff and patrons all in good spirits, enjoying food, coffee and cakes! Will be excited to come back in the near future!

My friend and I stopped at Aldbourne Post Office to ask directions to a pub so that we could have lunch. Well it was a case of ''look no further'' because we had stumbled into a gem of a café. A warm welcome, attentive staff and very well priced menu. The ham, egg and chips and no nonsense coffee couldn't have been better. Well done and thankyou.

When driving down the M4 recently over the breakfast period we decided to detour off the motorway as we had a little extra time and stopped her for coffee and breakfast. So pleased we did. Looks like just a shop and post office from the outside but at the back there is the cafe. There is an outside area too if a nice day. Coffee and cooked breakfast was amazing. Very friendly and efficient service too. Everything cooked fresh. Will definitely come here again.

I love coming here! All the staff are so welcoming and very patient. The food from the deli is delicious and so many great options for vegetarians. Highly recommend to anyone in the area :)

Stumbled across this little gem a month or so back. Been walking the ‘Downs’ for years from Aldbourne and walked right past until a few weeks ago. Great spot, nice indie and lovely out door garden setup. Delicious food, top coffee and OJ . Service is perfect.

Three of us tend to go out for breakfast around once a month. I had read good reviews so phoned to see if a reservation was needed or if we could just walk in. Told they would reserve a table for us anyway. when we arrived the café was empty but quickly filled up so maybe just as well I had phoned to check. All had the full English and all were very happy, in particular the sausages and bacon seemed really high quality, from local sources. Very generous portions. Just over a tenner each for a large breakfast plus tea and coffee. Great value for money and friendly professional service.

I held a lunch which included a vegan friend. I let the owner know I would be popping in to pick up a mix of food for lunch from the deli to take away. They made sure they did lots of vegan dishes. The food was fantastic, all vegan and incredibly tasty. My vegan friend said it was better than a number of the restaurants she'd recently visited. I'm not vegan but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spur of the moment lunch and pleased we were not too late. Excellent food and really good coffee. The food was mde with fresh, good ingedients and very tasty. Staff were, as ever, friendly and helpful.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the service excellent. We had eggs royale and a tomato and pepper dish with egg and feta with pita breads which I can't remember the name of but it was amazing and freshly prepared by super-chef Eddie. Absolutely worth a visit for lunch or breakfast.

Came here with my girlfriend for a lovely meal and I really recommend to people to come and try it out and it was amazing service and food ! staff are really friendly. It’s a really nice space to sit in and nice and Clean. Going to come back in the summer as they have a good garden and nice seating.

I found this shop to have a great selection of things but the staff self absorbed and didn’t even say bye. Would go again but only if I really needed too. Smiles and non judgement behaviour is paramount.

A great welcome from Sophie and Team. Lovely friendly cafe. Poached eggs on toast with spring onion was perfect. So was omelette on toast. Fresh pressed orange 🍊 juice wow. Accessible toilet , all on one level. Mild slopes. A lovely homely cafe. A must visit. Set in a beautiful village. Parking plus public transport.

We visited for lunch on a Saturday. Lovely welcome. Nice covered outdoor seating area which was perfect as it was warm but drizzly weather. Attractive garden area which has been well-thought out with wood panelling and 'green wall'. There is also indoor seating. Waitress immediately took our drinks order and our tasty cappuccinos arrived promptly. Our individual choices of shakshuka and turmeric chicken breast were both beautifully presented and delicious. We also experienced a friendly, cheerful send-off by staff (something so often forgotten in other establishments when one leaves unacknowledged having paid the bill). We were only sorry that we had an appointment to get to so couldn't stay longer to further enjoy some cake, more coffee and the pleasant atmosphere. Heartily recommend this place and we will visit again soon. Thank you to you all.

This is a friendly shop with cafe in a small village. Even though we were outside lunchtime we were offered a lunch from the deli and it was great. We had cake and hot drinks too (also v good). The food is presented well and tasted even better in the beautiful little garden at the back. Food sensitivities catered for and a nice welcome guaranteed if our experience is anything to go by.

Total surprise to find this little post office/shop sell the most delicious cakes and snacks (try the sausage rolls) but at the back is a gorgeous little cafe selling excellent coffee and cakes as well as delicious meals. Totally family friendly and clearly very popular...

Above average coffe in a quiet location. Amazing Breakfast at a good price. As there is only one person their if its busy you wait to be served. Well worth the wait. Had a lamb Samosa, which I ordered at the Deli, as a starter then I spotted the breakfast and my diet flew out of the window. Had a Samosa, Breakfast, (very nice) and coffee for £9.50. Will skip the samosa next time..:). Bit out of the way but worth it.

For a small local Post Office/Shop it's very well stocked even with things you wouldn't expect. Excellent choice of wine and always a welcome warm welcome.
