What a perfect little restaurant. Nice setting, simply yet comfortably furnished. Friendly waitress. But then the food…! Everything was done so well! You know when you find a chef who just knows how to cook well, who obviously loves cooking and loves good food, and just wants to share that wonderful food with his customers. Everything straightforward but absolutely was spot on - gorgeous crispy calamari, lovely unctuous prawns on garlicky sourdough bread, mussels in a full flavoured sauce, delicately grilled focaccia, a sticky ragu, and the most delicious carbonara with so many delicious layers of flavour. It was obvious the chef enjoys what he does and that translated to us. The children loved their pasta, we felt relaxed and happy, got chatting with the French speakers on the table next to us. A lovely evening all round. We’re living in London for 6 weeks due to difficult personal circumstances but this really lifted us and I may even book again for Fathers Day if I can!

i was seen as a stranger ,felt not welcome,normally we use STARBUCKS and requested for a similar latte coffe,she had few questions and she questioned what type etc. we did not find her friendly or coperative . Its the body language that tells you. The visit was terrible,next time when i passed by ,my wife went in ,i stayed out. well iam an indian. thank you

What a great spot for dinner this small restaurant with an outside rear terrace ideal in summer is situated a short stroll from Camden on the road into Kentish Town. Everything we ate was very good and we enjoyed the mix of French and Italian food. We shared a starter of prawns followed by mains of fish pie and a fish stew. Everything we ate was as tasty and enjoyable. On our Saturday evening visit the restaurant was not very busy though the person serving could have done with some support. The damage £100 for 2 courses including a decent Italian red. Lovely place, friendly service, decent food - we will return.

We had a dinner in this restaurant last Saturday. It was really great.Relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, comfortable seating and friendly service.Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too. We felt welcomed. There was only a lady waitress and a chef so far as I could see,and saying that just two of them were running service so smoothly without and delay! Well done guys! We will definitely come back!

Very nice location, very friendly staff, very good food, all at fair prices. We were a group of five from young to old and everybody was happy.

Both the dishes we had were exceptional and so far have been the best I've had in London. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere, 10/10 food. Hoping to go back again soon. The rating is very well deserved.

It's a short distance from Camden Market and is embedded in local Kentish Town life. Well worth a visit. A diverse menu includes starters (( recommend the vegetarian antipasto sharing platter); pasta, fish and meat main courses (I've had fish stew and lamb shank - both delicious); also, brunch, side dishes and drinks etc. The food is definitely 'home cooked' and authentic - generous portions and a fair price. I'll be going back for more definitely!

Booked for an evening meal via website -received an e mail headed booking confirmation so turned up at 8 to find out it was closed for a private party I showed the e mail to the officious manager She pointed triumphantly to the fact that the e mail did indeed start out with the heading booking confirmation - but stated later in the small print that they would be in touch to confirm - they never got in touch - not a word of apology/regret/come again another night I’d passed this place lots of times and liked the look of the menu And I can live with web/e-mail glitches - to be fair I’d walked to the place, if I’d travelled further I would have not been so relaxed about things But the attitude was a worry and that’s why I have written the review

Absolutely fantastic experience dining here last night! I don’t think I can rave about this place enough. We booked a few weeks ago after being recommended here. We arrived and although it was fairly busy we were given a choice of tables. The most amazing warm focaccia bread to start. For mains we had the duck confit and I would say it was the best duck I ever had, literally melt in your mouth. My partner had the fish pie and although I don’t normally like fish pie this really was delicious. Dessert we shared a chocolate fondant. I have strong views about the chocolate fondant which appears on nearly every menu everywhere and can sometimes be very bland and boring however this was absolutely fantastic and even the vanilla ice cream served with it was so far from boring standard vanilla ice cream it really was so tasty. When the bill came over I was shocked at how reasonably priced it was for how incredible the food was and not to mention excellent service. We were sat by the chef preparing all the food in the open kitchen and I have to say everything going out really looked like five star cuisine. We can’t wait to come back!

Having dumped our luggage, after an early start that morning, we headed out to find somewhere to eat. Albions was the first place we saw & walked in. A very warm welcome by the young lady who served us. We all had Brunch which was absolutely delicious & set us up for the day. We then called back that evening at 9pm. Again a very warm welcome from the same lady who had served us in the morning…she was delighted to see us come back & even thanked us. We had a mixed order of Rissotto, Beef Ragu & Macaroni Cheese. All were delicious. A very welcoming, clean & tidy restaurant. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our dinner at Albion’s and would thoroughly recommend. We recently moved to the area and this will 100% be one of our regulars. The food was excellent. We had the garlic prawns and antipasti to start, followed by the sea bass and wild boar tortellini - all of which we’d recommend. Lovely atmosphere and such a lovely team. We’ll be back soon!

We live nearby and went with friends to try Albion's out. It was everything a local restaurant should be - inviting, friendly, with excellent food. The cooking was way beyond our expectations. Despite only one chef and one front of house person on duty, service was prompt and the food fresh and appetising.

This restaurant gave us everything and more. Atmosphere: Nice, classic decor, with beautiful plates (!), with stylish country music. The place has a small design terrace for 10-15 people. Only problem was that the temperature was a bit low, so make sure to wear warm clothes here Food & service The food was EXCEPTIONAL! We ate a burger and a roasted chicken and they were so good and huge portions also. For desserts we tried the chocolate fondant and the Eton mess and they were also premium! The service is fast and really nice! Reasonable All in all it was 60£ for two with a shared starter, two main dishes, two beers and two desserts. I can just suggest this place, an absolute gem!
