Albertos @the Chequers in Wellingborough. The best Turkish/Italian restaurant ever!!!, The food was amazing. The home made condiments especially the chilli salza was de lick and the SeaBass and Salmon were not only generous portions but favoursome and then some. Cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic. A real gem in this town. My new go to place anytime I visit. The prices were very reasonable. You have to visit. Thank you for a great day out with family.

Firstly the service was excellent and the staff were all super friendly and got us a table set up even though they had just cleared most of the restaurant for a party. The food is superb. my partner is a veggie and and had the veggie lasagne, she said it was amazing and the general selection for veggies and vegans was very clearly marked out on the menu making it easy to choose. I had a calzone and oh my word it was huge and tasty, I thought it would be a very heavy meal but the crust was surprisingly light. Overall I cant wait to visit Northampton again to go here 👍👍👍👍👍

A bit busy for just 2 barppl but they managed. We came in after a Genfestshow at the Derngate theater for an afterparty with cast and crew. Had dinner later on and it was fabulous, great salad and fresh lasagne, the rest of my group also loved their freshly made pizzas .

Amazing food and the best customer service in town!

Decided to pop in here for something small to eat. Ended up having 3 full courses plus coffee. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, staff are lovely, we will certainly be back

A WONDERFUL dining experience. I didn’t catch her name, but the young woman who worked around 5 PM on Sept 24 provided the best service despite being understaffed. She sat me at a cozy spot and recommended the delicious frutti di mare with a glass of Merlot (HIGHLY recommend). Finished the meal with a scrumptious slice of tiramisu and a decaf coffee. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had great time there we were 6 people and ordered alot of delicious food such as two unique ice cream, apple juice and cappuccino...

The best Italian in town. My wife and I had lasagna and fries and it was delicious. The staff are courteous and professional and having the bar there gives that little extra convenience if you don't want to go to a separate place to have a few drinks. It may seem a little expensive but you'll definitely know where that extra money went. There is outside seating too for those that smoke. My wife loved this restaurant and we will certainly go again.

We arrived in Northampton looking for something to eat, and we were enticed by the lunch menu that seemed outstanding value for money; just for under ten pounds, I could get anything from their lunch menu and a soft drink or small beer or small glass of wine which I thought was a bargain. We decided on having two glasses of coca cola, and my partner opted for the Polpette GL, which was spaghetti with homemade beef meatballs cooked in a divine herby tomato sauce. I was a little jealous because the meatballs were delicious. I did ask for Funghi DL GY, which was meant to be spaghetti in a creamy garlic sauce with mushrooms, but i ended up getting a pizza. Upon looking at the menu, i could see that both names were the same, meaning the waiter probably misunderstood and gave me a mozzarella cheese, tomato and mushroom pizza instead of the spaghetti i originally wanted. I was hesitant to bring the pizza back to the kitchen, so i decided to try it, and i am glad i did. The pizza was cooked to perfection, and the flavour was terrific. Perfectly seasoned, i decided just to let the waiter know of the confusion; he was very kind to offer to redo the food again so i could have the original meal, but i decided against it. After our meal, we were offered desserts, and my partner decided on homemade Tiramisu. I went for the prosecution and strawberry cream cheesecake, and both were nice. It was served on its own without cream as it traditionally is done but wasn't needed because it was incredibly fresh. We arrived here on Friday afternoon, and there were plenty of seats, and they were all immaculate, and the decor was charming, and i could see why people raved about this place.

Great Italian restaurant. Portions are quite big and the food quality is very nice. Only negative thing was the Hawaiian pizza on the menu🤦‍♂️. However, it’s still a really good place.

This is 4th time I have eaten here,love it and waited on by Sagio....everytime...very polite and friendly....came with 2 sisters last week and today with my daughters...perfect

Just had the lunch deal here and it was amazing. The best meal I have had out in years, the food was delicious and the portion sizes were massive. £9.95 for main and a drink, such a bargain. If your in Northampton for lunch make sure it's here

No one knows wifi password, pizza is definitely not Italian, you get a glass of water for £3, when you ask just tap water. No good

Had a lovely day today at Albertos and staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They went above and beyond and food was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

Ordered via Uber eats, amazing service. The food arrived early, hot and tasted fresh. Portions were huge! Great choice of food and most importantly the restaurant can safely cater to customers with allergies. This was a relief as a mum to a small child with lots of allergies, usually I avoid take outs. Everyone enjoyed their food and we will definitely be visiting to try new dishes

First time eating here today. Took our 6 year old niece for some impromptu lunch. The greeting as we walked in was very warm and we were made to feel welcome. A fuss was made over us and we were immediately at ease. The service continued to be good through ordering up until paying. We had a child’s size Funghi pizza which was very tasty and more than big enough for here appetite. My calzone was the best I’ve had in a long time and the pasta that my partner had was deep in flavour and well cooked. Will be visiting again.

Great Italian restaurant, accessed via The Wedgwood pub which confused us a little at first. Friendly welcome and service from the staff. Two of us had the lasagne and we both agreed it’s the best Lasagne we’ve ever had! Homemade and so tasty! Sure we’ll be back for that alone! Would have been nice to have the choice of salad rather than chips but the chips were also delicious!

Went out with my wife for a pizza, and I must admit, that finally we probably had the best pizza in town.

Best pizza in town! Perfect base and great taste, as if we were in Italy to eat a pizza. We will order or come into the restaurant from now on when we want to eat pizza. Highly recommend!

We went last Sunday just after reading all good reviews about this place. We was starving for a good pizza and a good Italian atmosphere 😃😃 For starter, my daughter asked for garlic bread - I feel sorry I didn't take picture of that bread with dry garlic powder and looooots of dry oregano, which it couldn't be eaten. For main course, both kids ordered as a kid menu, margarita pizza (£5 or £6 , I don't remember)and for myself I have chosen Alberto specialty, which it cost £18 but, on my surprise, were same pizza as the kids had, margarita, on top of that adding 2/3 sliced of prosciutto, 3 cherry tomatoes cut in half and few leaves of rocket and again looooots of dry oregano 🤢🤮 Pizza wasn't great at all, for the price they are asking, the atmosphere is like I don't recomand to anyone...and the owner, which is other important thing in a business - customer returning - were always playing around over there, being a stres for us, as could fill him to be in stress all the time. We like where we go for eating out, to get a nice atmosphere, a good attitude and a good food... otherwise is waisting of money and time. Definitely I will not return and I will not advise anyone.

Wow... I want to meet a chief! I don't have words to describe how good it was and I mean it seriously. I love Italian cuisine and it's was one of the best experiences ever, definitely best place to order a food in Northampton for me from now. DELIZIOSO, BRAVO! 10/10

Alberto’s is more authentic than most of the food I’ve tried in Italy! Since moving to Grange Park a year and half ago, Alberto’s has become my favourite restaurant. The staff are amazing, attentive and so helpful. The food is wonderful, huge portions full of delicious favour filled items. My goal is to try every item on the menu (I’m getting there), I’ve never once had a below par meal here and my partner and I eat here a lot! We always take our visiting friends and family here as we’re always confident that it’ll be quality food and great service. We’re so thankful to have such an amazing restaurant on our doorstep and so thankful to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and valued. I cannot recommend Alberto’s enough, and to show this my partner and I have a prebooked 30+ person meal booked at Alberto’s in September because we just wanted to share the amazing atmosphere and food with our closest friends & family. Thank you to the entire team at Alberto’s!

Nice little Italian pizzeria with a good choice of pizza and pasta. Staff very friendly food was quick and tasty.

Not good as we thought. We had 2 starters and 2 pizzas. The calamari were very good. The mozzarella they served wasn't buffalo mozzarella but we paid like if it was. Pizzas were the same but one with "buffalo" mozzarella and one with salmon. The lady who served us was very kind and polite.

Our new favourite place, great food and service, not a huge menu but something for everyone, been there 3 times now and never disappointed in the food quality or the service.

We have just had a takeaway from here and I had spaghetti bolognaise. I often order this and I have to say this was the best example I have had from anywhere, good size portion, fresh testing, delicious.

The food here was incredibly tasty, i had the salmon penne pasta and it was the tastiest Italian food I have ever had. And one of the tastiest plates of food I have had in general . Thank you for the amazing service and crazily tasty pasta. I will be back and telling people about your place for sure. (It was also cool to be able to see the food being cooked)

I have been meaning to try Alberto's for some time and finally visited yesterday and wasn't disappointed. We both had the Calzone and it was the best I can remember having. Perfectly cooked, full of filling and great tasting. Service was excellent to, very friendly. Looking forward to going back to try some of their other dishes.

Went to Alberto's in Grange park Northampton, I can say the whole experience was amazing, lovely staff, Amazing food and thoroughly enjoyed our night. Will definitely return when we come back to visit family in future as we aren't from the area

Firstly, if you park in CoOp car park, make sure you have paid. I have just received a fine. Didnt realise it was a private car park. Expensive mistake! Now to Albertos. We visited Alberto's for the first time a week ago, on a Saturday evening. The food was fantastic. My husband had Calzone which he said was the best he's had (and he's had a few, including in Italy). I had a really tasty pasta dish. We followed with Tiramisu which was amazing. Nice restaurant with lovely, welcoming and friendly staff. We will be returning.

First time we have ordered from Albertos. The food was freshly cooked and full of flavour. We were really impressed with the portions and will definitely be ordering again!

Really good food. Second time we have order takeaway from Albetto's restaurant and the food is just amazing. We had our pizza order mixed up, but it was so tasty that we couldn't even bother calling to change.

Lovely hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away on a housing estate. Great home cooked food. Staff very hospitable and accommodating to requests. Great dining experience.

Great home cooked food, collection was on time and very friendly staff, 100% be going back there!

Collection of take away order: Pizza was good but dough needs kneading more its way too compact in texture like a frozen pizza would be. Although the pizza was tasty. Pasta was poor in taste, ordering arrabiatta received pasta in a very oily red (not tomato) sauce with only fried onions and chilli (could not taste chilli) perhaps dried. Found ingredients/taste unacceptable for the 9.00 price tag. Chips served in a closed/sealed tin foil container were soggy and oily these had to be disposed of at the cost of 4.00. Poor experience on this occasion

We visited the restaurant for our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, lovingly prepared and served with style. The prawn and avocado starter was enormous. My husband had bruschetta which was fresh and delicately flavoured. Our main dishes were also amazing. The owner is a very kind and professional gentleman. A wonderful meal. We will be returning in the new year.

Mr Ramsay and I had a lovely takeaway last night. The lady on the end of the phone was very polite and eager to please. Our order was ready and waiting for us on time. We had the cauliflower, chili and chicken spaghetti and a mushroom and chicken pizza to share. Perfect size for two. Looking forward to going to eat In the restaurant after lockdown finishes. It looks a really cosy place. So nice to have something so close by. We have since eaten in the restaurant And had a very enjoyable meal. The maitre d was excellent. He kept his distance from the table but was immediately there if our drinks needed topping up. Our candle went out and was replaced straightaway. He was not TOO attentive. I could not finish my meal and he suggested he could pack up the rest and we could take it home. I had the seafood pasta on this occasion. We shall certainly go again.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The owner is s true gent. Pizzas are superb and the tiramisu is the best I've had outside of Italy!! Will be a regular!
