Al Santo deli in Hammersmith and Fulham

Sensational. Best night out in Fulham. Wonderful staff, welcoming restaurant. Could not fault a thing.

Here’s a Dined at Al Santo last night with my friend Emma, and we had an absolutely fabulous time! The staff took such great care of us, and the food was a perfect 10/10. We started with the bruschetta with funghi and truffle—absolutely delicious—and enjoyed two different types of tortelloni, both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. As an Italian, I can say this is truly authentic Italian cuisine. It’s not my first visit and certainly won’t be my last. Can’t wait to go back!

Went there with my husband as walk-ins and the staff managed to find us a table so we can have dinner. Very nice rustic atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and the fresh pasta really exceptional! All the waitresses and Orestis had their attention to us and the rest customers and made our experience in the restaurant unique, and made us feel very welcomed and well taken after.

The 3 of us had the best dining experience in the 5 weeks we have been in England. We are going back for our last meal in London, tonight. The main courses were superb and desserts not to be missed. But even better was the warm and professional staff. If we lived here it would be our local choice. Very much looking forward to our meal tonight.

Lovely, dimly lit little restaurant. I had the oxtail special and treated myself to a dessert wine after. Traveling alone, I brought a book and read it in the corner. Feels like a throwback to when restaurants were just pleasant and had good food. No pretension to be quirky, just happy to make you a good meal.

Superb! A Mediterranean mix with Italian and Greek working well together. The place was buzzing on the Friday night we visited, but they managed to find us a table - the resto gods must have been smiling on us… Quirky staff (in a good way) making some excellent though not pushy recommendations. Wine list really good if a bit pricey for one who doesn’t live in London, but the food took first place. Ragu, carbonara as excellent far-from-everyday dishes. The day’s special was delicious large ravioli filled with swordfish and served with a prawn sauce, tomatoes and mixed salad. Totally to be recommended and, if you can, give the special a whirl.

My brother and I popped into Al Santo for a drink and starter to share and really enjoyed our experience there! The drinks were delicious and well made, the calamari starter was big enough to share (which is normally never the case with seafood!), and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The manager took the time to have a chat with us and introduce himself which was lovely and gave us such a great sense of community! We will definitely be back for a full meal in the near future 😊

Such a lovely little restaurant on a quiet street in Fulham. We come for all our birthday dinners and they always make us feel so welcome and celebrated. We highly recommend to not skip dessert and get the pistachio delice. A special shout-out too to Oresto who always visits our tables and gives us wonderful suggestions.

Authentic food wonderful service throughout This restaurant has a real rustic family feel about it the Sicilian gentleman who welcomes you and manages restaurant is wonderful a real old fashioned front of house an absolute vital part of the experience I’m so sorry he did tell me he’s name but I’m sure he is so unique you understand who I’m talking about . The food was wonderful the steak cooked perfectly. When I went to the toilet I observed the kitchen area a real working old school kitchen with prepping communication and hard work . I’ve eaten here before and had a good experience however had a really upsetting one tonight. Having had some buratta (which was obviously sour and thick/curdled even to sight let alone taste), I mentioned this to the waitress and said I wouldn’t want another one. She took it to the chef to try, came back, and told me the chef said the buratta was fine and I would still have to pay for it. A bit mind blown…

Beautiful local spot for dinner! The staff were extremely welcoming and we felt very at home. There is some lovely outdoor seating, but the interior is also gorgeous and cosy. The food was excellent and they even served us some limoncello on the house after they found out it was one of our birthdays! Looking forward to coming back.

A nice restaurant with decent food and good service but the prices are now ridiculous. 6 months ago their moussaka dish cost £18 now it costs £25 .......that greedflation pure and simple. In addition the owner wants you to pay 12.5% service charge.........what a RIP OFF

The special of the day was a lamb tagliatelle and it was fantastic. They should include this in the main menu so it can be easily ordered by many! Loved the ambience of the restaurant as it was rustic and homey at the same time with nice soft lighting, which made the whole experience so cozy. Choice of music too was on point. We were also served by very hospitable staff and will definitely come back for more.

Amazing authentic Italian food with amazing staff, special shout out to Paulo and Oreste. We had the Gorgonzola Tortellini, Parpadelle Ragu and a beautiful burrata Ndja pasta. Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing, the menu changes every month adding new favourites from different regions in Italy. Highly recommend and definitely will be coming back!

It was a perfect Saturday date dinner night .!!! The atmosphere just amazing, the staff really professional and friendly, we had an Athens platter tasty nice for start. After we had a mussels pasta and a lamb ravioli with red wine sauce, perfect dish !!!! And a dessert a waiter recommended a “Ekmek”? Anyway it’s just booom tasty perfect dessert.!!!

Easily one of the best Italian restaurants and hidden gems in London. Really excellent food, quirky interior and fantastic service from Oreste and the rest of the team. Really well priced for the location. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very nice service, the space make you feel at home! The food was fresh and savoury, they do have some gluten free options.

A genuine Mediterranean (Greek and Italian) cuisine, delicious authentic homemade dishes. The menu has a special theme each month, focusing on a specific region. We tasted the dishes from Naples which were amazing. The paccheri alla Genovese were fantastic, and so was the cake with pear and ricotta. Very friendly and efficient service with a smile, in a nice decor that feels as if you are travelling to the South. Al Santo is a place where they make you feel at home. We definitely will come back.

A bit disappointed, the food was good but the quantity was surprisingly small in relation to the price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing so it was a disappointment to be pushed to buy more and to pay that much for the quantity we had.

This is a lovely venue with a pretty outdoor space however I was disappointed that a venue that calls itself "greek or italian" charges for oil & vinegar to add to a salad order. It's like charging for salt & pepper. This, over and above a charge of £5.50, when asking for a slice of bread to accompany the order. A charge for oil & vinegar exposes the restaurant or the staff as having no idea of what Italian and Greek cultures are like. As a matter of fact, the other order we had consisting of egg-plant parmeggiana, was very average by Mediterranean standards. The management should be aware of the "oil & vinegar" issue as it's embarrassing as well as wrong to charge customers for oil & vinegar. I paid my bill, no questions asked, but I would expect one of the managers to contact me for this lack of detail.

We had our Sunday lunch there and had a great time sitting outdoors! The food was great and the service made us feel as if we were in Italy. Totally recommend!

Gorgeous hidden gem in Fulham!! The food is so authentic, fresh and delicious. The service is warm and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. We sat out the front on the terrace and got to pat the gorgeous golden retriever Annie all night - worth going just to see her!!

We sat outside and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. Said a few German and Swiss words and made a few jokes. I felt quite comfortable there. The food also tasted good.

Truly a gem in not only Fulham but in London. We’re lucky enough to live in the neighborhood and try to go whenever we have a chance. The staff are some of the best anywhere and this is coming from someone who worked in restaurants and bars for close to 20 years both in front of house and back of house. The food and drink will never disappoint nor will the atmosphere as long as Annie (the Labrador) is part of the epic team at Al Santo! PS:Do yourself a favor and order the salted peanut ice cream.
