My twin brother Stephen and I were meeting up with friends for a night out in The Raven Pub ,before hitting the pub we dropped into Aintree Ale's ,a wonderful bottle shop/ bar that's always a joy to visit. A cool kiosk / bar, shelves and a fridge groaning under the weight of the best beer selection of bottles and cans in Liverpool, staff so knowledgable about their beers ,this bar offers take out service and drinking outside in their cool courtyard ,it's just a special beer destination. We noticed before leaving our home that our beer fridge was looking a tad bare so we dropped into Aintree Ale's mwe purchased some great ipa's and some really good ,classic German beers for take home, couldn't stay for a beer outside as we were meeting friends in the pub adjacent and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Aintree Ale's is easy to locate along Walton Vale ,it's sandwiched between The Black Bull Pub and The Raven Pub. Opening hours are; Monday tonThursday,11am till 7pm. Friday & Saturday,11am till 8pm. Sunday, closed . Well worth checking out if you enjoy quality beers.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to The Raven Pub and just before this wonderful Wetherspoon pub is Aintree Ales,a fantastic bottle shop/ bar that is most definitely going to be a big hit. It's only a small ,cute building no bigger than a big kiosk ,the interior is superb, a massive array of bottled beers and cans ,mostly for take out service but there's a fridge were you can grab a cold beer or cider which you can enjoy in their courtyard, its a very cool establishment. We were here on a Saturday early evening, after a quick study of their massive selection we chose bottles of Blak Street " wild tree hoppy cider " these were delicious, an iced cold cider which we enjoyed in their courtyard, it was so good sipping a quality cider outside such a great place, the two young ladies running the bar were super, friendly and very knowledgeable about their beer range. We really enjoyed our ciders out here before moving onto The Raven Pub next door and for a first time visit to Aintree Ales we were totally impressed. Aintree Ales is easy to locate along Walton Vale. Opening hours are,; Monday, 1pm till 7pm. Tuesday & Wednesday, Midday till 7pm. Thursday to Saturday, 11am till 8pm. Sunday, Closed. A wonderful drinking established, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Mucho amor. Recomendaría 1000% a cualquiera 😁🍺🎤💃

Visited the Quarry Green Club after attending a funeral service and I must say I can't speak highly enough about this club. It's been here for many years ,a nice look to it ,multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating. About 200 plus attended the farewell party after the funeral ,staff were great ,beers were flowing ,buffet great and the general atmosphere was really good ,had a great time in here till throwing out time as did all our group, easy to locate along Daleside Road ,well worth checking out if you're in Kirkby.

Visited with my two friends and there wives! Friday night around 7pm. Upon arrival we entered through the down stairs and up stairs at the back. The decor of this place is fantastic! Reaching the top of the stairs we where greeted with an amazing acoustic singer which created a great atmosphere! It was a very hot day and the place has air conditioning so we where relieved to cool down! The staff where very polite and welcomed us with lovely big smiles. The drinks range was very good with lots of premium vodka, rum whiskey etc.. Beers from Madri, Carling, John Smiths, Guinness, Coors plus bottles and cans from Germany, Belgium and local breweries range. The bar staff offered us tasters of a German beer called Augestiener which is supposed to be one of the best lagers in the world which we agreed was unreal! The ladies where very happy to hear The Paddock sold Whispering Angel wine and myself and my mates got a mix of different beers from around the world which was a great talking point between us! The Paddock was very busy but we where lucky enough to get some seats close to the singer. We had an amazing night, there where a great mix of all ages who where singing along to all the songs and up dancing all the way until last orders! Would highly recommend this little gem of a place! The staff told us they also have a darts night Monday, quiz night on a Wednesday and all sporting events are shown. My biggest advise would be to get down early because there wasn’t a seat left by 8pm
