5 star for the coliva, super tasty and delicious

My requirements were not met for both the decoration and the filling of the cake, inferior quality and a disappointing experience. I do not recommend! Worst cake I have ever received. It is absolutely different from what I ordered and disgusting! Not recommended!!!

It should be noted that in June 24 this place was issued with a 0 stars food hygiene rating, (only 2 places in Oldham have 0 stars) Major improvements are required with hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage and the Cleanliness and condition of facilities and building (including having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control) to enable good food hygiene. Urgent improvement necessary with Management of food safety checks which are not in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety. The food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future, please let me know when you have improved and I will change this review

I have always said that Romanian pastries are amazing. Today, while returning to the car, we passed a this place and the smell coming from the cafe forced us to go in and see what was inside. My daughter chose a piece of tiramisu cake. No matter who, my daughter knows tiramisu, she probably ate it everywhere 😂 the woman who served us was smiling, nice and friendly. If you haven't been there or think it's worth it, I encourage you to go to Ailyns and try what they have, because not only are the products look nice, but they also taste good.

I tried the cream croissant one time and it was the best croissant I've ever had. I always come in to see if they have any more but they must all get sold out! Not to worry though as the coconut rolls and vanilla bake are close contenders. This is a gem of a bakery in Harpurhey! I always pop in here now as its much better value than Greggs and the staff are so warm and friendly.

I kept going to Gregg's just next door until one day I noticed this amazing cake in the window of this bakery (Ailyn's) next door. At the time I didn't think to buy one because I'd already bought my food. Next time I went I checked the front a bit too see what they offered. Not just cakes, but pizza and other stuff that Gregg's just mass produces. So I took a chance and went in. Not only did I end up buying 3 gorgeous looking homemade cakes and 2 pizza slices but they tasted amazing in comparison to that chain one next door. I don't go there anymore. I only visit Ailyn's. Oh yeah and all that food I bought? Came under £10!!! So not only is the food better, it's cheaper! Seriously people - stop going to the other one. Go to Ailyn's. The food is second to none (the cakes I can stuff 3 of in one sitting!!). But oh they are so nice! The pizzas actually have a taste to them as well instead of that microwaved rubbish slices they have next door. Ailyns is a proper bakery, with proper bakery food. The people I've been served by there are also really nice and helpful! I'd recommend them over anywhere else!

Went in after I saw how lovely the cakes looked in the window, the owner is so friendly and took the time to explain the different cakes and treats. I had the cheese pie, chocolate croissant and the chocolate cake - all of which were amazing. So nice to see independent businesses in the area doing well

I have the cheese pie, coffee and a vanilla bake. All was really nice. Would definetly go again.

I found a gem of a bakery today and I wasn’t disappointed. The shop is bright and clean and the staff are friendly and polite with a smile. My face lite up when I found out they were Romanian as memories came back to the time when I lived over there, they even make my favourite cake “Savarina” 😁. It’s a bit like a Rum baba. I couldn’t wait to get home to try it to see if it taste just like the ones I had in Romania and it’s exactly the same. The bakery is an excellent addition to the area and with the shop opening every day at 7am is an absolute bonus. Freshly baked bread on a Sunday morning is a must from here.

cabanos rolls are to die for so is the chicken pizza you do need a bigger desert range please were begging staff are lovely and polite ❤️❤️❤️

Everything we've tried so far has been delicious! The coconut rolls are amazing as were the pretzels today.
