If you know what's good for you, just order your food online. If you go to pick the food yourself, frustration will be your middle name. Tasty food? Yes! but they will make you wait atleast 30 to 40 mins to give you your package. Just order online.

I visited this restaurant, and I must confess it totally beats my imagination. The food tastes purely local and very delicious. I have not had African dishes this tasty since I came to this country. I have visited several others, but I give it to AGG, I felt totally at home. All the local soups tasted well. The staff were courteous and doing a good job. Well done, guys. I now have a very good reason to visit Coventry often 😊 ☺️

If you need to cater for party for a special occasion, secure the services of AGG's World. We hired them for my Mother's 70th. The owner took the stress out of the occasion by helping us to design the menu to cater for all taste. The food and the service delivered by the owner and his team on the day was fantastic.

Expect a wait for service and food. Would not use as a seated restaurant, too cramp but take away collection is the way to go. Staff helpful asking all the right questions, however have maybe a 50% success rate for getting a complete or correct delivery?!? Wish they could just actively listen and check before dispatch, ie if receipt has four items don't send out three!

Lovely settings in the heart of Gosfort Street Coventry. The food was good and the service I really can't complain. Priced reasonably and authentic Nigerian cuisine with Nigerian Guinness. Overall a good experience BUT… Posted before realising the menu price is different to the actual charges! When asked ‘our prices went up’ but NOT changed in the menu online and in-house! Convenient? Count your change!

You will be lucky to eat here without disappointment for so many reasons i.e. - their busy but underpowered microwave producing lukewarm reheated food - non-draw okra, under seasoned fish or beef, yesterday's amala - disinterested staff, etc I'm surprised Trading Standard's haven't paid closer attention to high risk food sitting on display for great lengths of time...only to be refrozen and reheated ad nauseoum. They charge top money for low quality food. Not a fair practice.

As much as I would like to rate AGG 5 star for the food quality and taste, which is excellent, I've got to say other factors over shadow these. - The food portions have become smaller and smaller by the time, they can't even fill the small bowl of plain jollof rice priced at £4.99 to the top. They've increased the prices of everything, the soup dishes are never filled past half (barely 3/4). AGG is so focused on saving(!?) , they are no longer giving the customer their money's worth. - The food is too spicy, unless this business is targetting only Nigerians, they need to reduce / take out the spice. You can't taste the amazing flavours of the food when it is over powered with spice.Or are you selling only to Nigerians? I really hope AGG will take these two basic clues, if they intend on competing with Chinese, Mexican, or other food chains (who understand portions matter and know to reduce the spice to adapt to the English customer base).

Best Nigerian restaurant I have eaten at in the UK! Its a small to medium restaurant caters for close to to 25 people when full. Loved the food and Nigerian drinks. The abula is a delicacy, its better eaten than described. For a small restaurant it is quite busy there is a constant traffic of delivery guys - uber eats, deliveroo, just eat et all. Counted 4 at one time all crowding the reception. Its a testament though of the quality of food they make. I'd advise they get a bigger place, surely need to expand

In Coventry? Need some Nigerian Cuisine? A.G.G is a good place to stop for that, I suggest you preorder when you think about becoming hunger because they can take a while. Typically about 25 to 40mins. The environment is clean, there is paid parking (free after 6pm) on an adjacent street, you can dine in but I will suggest you order a take if you have company. The place is quite small and can be crowded sometimes. The front desk staff are quite polite and nice.

I initially posted this on AGG LTD a month ago but they have changed to AGG World on Google so leaving this review again because by changing name the service and business model doesn’t. Once AGG sort this issue out I will update this review as honestly as I have left it. I do delivery for Uber and I can confirm the service for this restaurant is the slowest in Cov. I come to collect two orders that should be ready and 9/10 times only one is ready and I have to wait 20 mins. There are times where I’ve waited 45 mins cause they keep saying 5 mins whilst an order just sat there. The staff look confused seem to just look at each other and walk up and down aimlessly. It seems there’s only one chef. Staff are just wandering around as if they are trying to look busy and some on their phones. I feel sorry for customers who’s food is waiting for 25 mins on worktops before given to driver. Currently I’ve waited 25 mins and these orders have been there as others are not ready. As a driver an order pings to me 7 minutes before it’s ready to collect. By the time I get there park up is about 5-7 mins.A further wait of 5 mins I can expect but 15-30 mins average is far beyond acceptable. I will refuse to deliver for them again. As a customer I wouldn’t waste my time and money on them. No value for anyones time and lack of customer service and acknowledgement.

Very good food.. prices ok.. I'm glad they added more things to the menu. They had to. The octopus was super well done. Great bean and perissaure soup! I recommend! I'm back with changes...I've been there twice..and the food was full of oil..extremely much oil. This makes me not want the octopus there anymore. Update: I went again.. the food was super salty.. When I said.. he didn't even bother to apologize or offer us an alternative.. a pain in the c.. like I've never seen before. Not a single bit of common sense. Total disregard for customers. I don't see them anymore. I do not recommend! He doesn't respect his customers at all!

Followed by a Vegetariana pizza sweet potato fries and a salad. We also asked for some freshly chopped chillies for that extra zing! Washed down with a nice bottle of Merlot. -------------- Superb pizza. Good price. Pleasant alternative decor. Check it out yourselves.
