Have been using Kudos for quite a while and Sandy who takes the orders over the phone is really nice but the last two meals delivered were not very good at all and how can an order of curry sauce turn into special fried rice which contains meat which at the moment I can't eat. i only live round the corner in Hove and my local pub has had problems with food quality from there which s a shame because it used to be excellent.Come on guys get back to how you were with great food and good delivery.Andrew Hove

Muy mal servicio al cliente. Absolutamente en shock cuando su conductor de entrega comienzo ha sido grosero conmigo de la nada. Cuando me dijeron que la señora de la recepción, ella respuesta que normalmente es agradable. No volver nunca más. No necesito ataque por el personal cuando estoy saliendo de mi dinero ganado duramente.

Desde el momento en que sonó el servicio era excelente. Nos dijeron que nuestra comida Cuándo llegamos en 40 minutos y nos quedamos encantados cuando llegó en 30. Nos íbamos a ir a Danny's, que siempre es excelente, pero no eran contestar el teléfono así que nos pareció en TripAdvisor. Llamamos y, no tener un menú, sólo pedimos la misma comida (galletas saladas de gambas, pelotas dulces y amargos de gambas, sal y pimienta tofu, arroz frito y sencilla de huevo fideos). Me quedé sorprendido cuando, en vez de la cuesta £21,50 habría en Danny's, fue sólo £15,30!!!!! Y fue igual de buena calidad.No puedo recomendar este llevar lo suficiente y.

He estado en "Después de 5" ayer por primera vez. Me dieron una sopa Tom Kha como aperitivo y pollo teriyaki Don como mi principal. El servicio era rápido y la comida caliente, pero ambos platos eran poco satisfactoria.La sopa estaba claramente mediante la mezcla lata leche de coco con agua. contenía totalmente insípido setas y calamares. Sólo los camarones eran simplemente decente.El pollo teriyaki era empanadas y frito, que no es la manera en que debería ser, y sumergido en salsa de ciruelas, que no es lo mismo que teriyaki. Aparte de ser algo totalmente diferente a su descripción, el plato estaba también muy sosa. Aparte de eso, el arroz parecía más una pasta de arroz real, ya que era vergonzoso recocido.Sospecho que "Después de 5" cambiado la gestión recientemente, justificando así algunas de las buenas críticas en TripAdvisor.

leer la reciente Tripadvisor, está claro para mí que visitar Después de las 5 es un poco al azar, pero tengo que decir que en las pocas ocasiones me he podido mi comida Después de 5, ha estado bien, no es excepcional, pero está bien. Afrontémoslo, esto es un establecimiento sólo para llevar; no estoy esperando high-End comida. Creo que lo que tras 5 necesita trabajar es su consistencia. Waterloo Street (calle, ya que no está registrado aquí) es un gran lugar para capturar tráfico y sólo por este motivo, espero que Después de 5 se eleva al desafío que Tripadvisor reciente visitantes tienen claramente.

Hemos estado tener llevar desde aquí durante unos años y ha sido muy bien ...... sin embargo, recientemente insisten en cobrar a cambio salsas incluido en los menús. e I. . para cambiar Sweet & sour a salsa curry, un cambio que cuesta nada de ellos.La comida también ha ido demasiado con variaciones normales en calidad y sabor. No vayas si quieres también buena comida!!Una pena, ya que ha sido bueno en el pasado.Prueba nueva Lotus en Seven dials en su lugar.

3/05/13 I ordered veg spring rolls and two types of bean curd and Singapore noodles and couldn't eat any of it, the bean curd was dry and overcooked with a lumpy sauce - the noodles tasted dry and like it had a cheep nasty sauce with raw vegetables with it... was really dissapointing expecially how expensive it is what is more annoying is that I was overcharged by 3 pounds aswell and made to pay 2 pounds for delivery even though I live in hove - will never be going there again was absolutely discussing

como dice el título, que sólo he conseguir nuestra chino desde aquí. La comida es razonable para la cantidad que te dan. es siempre muy sabroso, la gente que toma su pedido son siempre muy amable y servicial, los chicos de entrega siempre es educado y amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente la sal y la pimienta o tofu de calamares, y los platos de fideos udon japoneses, los curries breadcrumbed japoneses de carne, el Hong dulce y amargado estilo Kong de cerdo y pato aromático. Se puede decir que se ha producido la la preparación de la comida, sus knedlíky son muy rico, sus rollos de pancake son tan llena de sabrosos abundante. Recomendaría este hotel a cualquiera y tienen, y sólo pide de ellos ahora también. No tenemos llevar a menudo, pero es rigurosamente bueno cuando nos lo tienen.

Ordered lots of food for 5 people last Saturday and when it turned up the order was incorrect, we rung up to ask if they could bring us the food we requested to which we were told their driver had gone home. We said this wasn't acceptable and they said they would bring round the correct food in half an hour. They didn't and we never heard from them again. The food we had delivered was not very nice so pretty disappointed.

We orderd a 1/2 crispy duck, hot and sour soup, rice and a bean curd dish. First everything seemed to be normal exept that the preparation only took >>5 min<< which is very doubtful given such a big menu! The soup didn't have the right consistency (it was like glibber..) and wasn't very tasty. Anyway the soup wasn't the worst..it was the duck! Crispy is slighthly understated, but nothing seemed ominous. After 3 hours we didn't feel good at all. And so it came that we had to VOMIT about the whole night-it was horrible! We were served FOUL foodl!If we hadn't had to leave for our flight back home (thanks to this great take away we weren't sure we could catch it because we felt FEBRILE) we could have had a visit here and lumber this creepy take away with a hygienic control authority!So please take this experience seriously if you don't want to damage your stomach and the next day.--------------->NEVER GO THERE<---------------

Just ordered a4 meal and felt compelled to write a review as it was the most digusting vile chinese meal ive ever had. I actually feel sick thinking about it. Everthing i ordered was completely overcooked the chicken is literally like wood ive never experienced that before. The beef was chewy the meal was barely warm when it arrived and the prawn crackers tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil! Hands down the worst meal ive ever had and im 31 ! This isnt terrible its shocking!

I've tried lots of Chinese Takeaways in Hove and this is the best so far! It's not the cheapest, but its probably not that far off from other Takeaway prices. I would actually pay a bit more for quality. The lady on the phone to take my order is lovely and the delivery guys are always really sweet and polite. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice Takeaway on a Saturday night watching Strictly (my own opinion) :P

The lady I spoke to on the phone was polite, the delivery guy was really cheerful, my food came really quickly so on that side of things i'd say the service was great. I ordered roast pork and mixed veg with special fried rice a pancake roll and some chicken dumplings the portions were good I got tonnes of rice and there was plenty of pork in my pork! And i've got loads left.The dumplings were a bit stodgy but the were handmade and tasty, my pancake roll was really good, crispy on the outside and full to bursting with bean sprouts chicken prawns and pork. This is the best chinese i've had in ages actually, they always seem to be really greasy but this was just yum! I'll Definitely order here again.

Last night I ignored the negative reviews - mostly about one particular individual working at this restaurant - and ordered a take-away meal over the phone. Glad I did. The young lady who took my order was courteous and efficient, no rudeness or sarcasm here. The food was delivered in the time specified and was fresh, well cooked and authentic. All the dishes I requested arrived and there were even free prawn crackers! It was delicious. The Singapore noodles were not the usual sludgy mess I am used to from local Chinese restaurants but beautifully flavoured and cooked perfectly. The honey bbq ribs were tender and flavoursome. Sweet and sour tofu good. Chicken in black bean sauce, again full of flavour and packed with crunchy veg. Sesame prawn toast was packed with prawns, again not the greasy meagre offerings I have come to see in many local places. One warning though. I ordered from the online menu which is quite out-of-focus so quite difficult to read. However, the prices have risen and they haven't changed the website so you will pay more than you think. I checked the price before ending the call which is when the lady informed me that they had increased their online prices. Is that lawful? I don't know but the small extra cost was still well worth the excellent food. This will now be my chosen take-away in Hove as it really does beat all the others I've sampled over the last 7 years.

Oddly enough, I have never had a problem with customer service from After 5. I have always been dealt with in a polite, if brisk manner. Thing is, even if this restaurant was run by someone who rivalled Basil Fawlty for rudeness, it would be worth putting up for it for the fantastic food.After 5 is my favourite Cantonese restaurant in Brighton. They also serve Japanese and Thai food as well, but it's the Cantonese favourites I tend to opt for (they dominate the menu), so that's what I base this review upon.It's the little things that leave me in little doubt of the quality of the food - the pancake rolls, the perfectly marinated, lean meat on the ribs, the amount of prawn on the prawn toast. The starters alone are as perfect as this food gets. The mains are beautifully spiced, the chow mein noodles satisfyingly thick, the sauces tasty and moreish, the meat in the dishes great quality and the prices very reasonable indeed.After 5 has now become the only Cantonese/Chinese restaurant in Brighton I want to eat at. So much so, that I now order their home deliveries, even though I have to pay a slight charge because we're out of their delivery zone. It's completely worth the extra, though. Three meals from After 5 later and I've been completely satisfied each time.

I viewed After 5 as easily one of the best chinese takeways I had visited since moving to Brighton and used it regularly, until recently when, like other people on this site have recieved previously, I got disgusting 'attitude' from the woman on the other end of the phone.Changes to the set menu which for years had not been a problem suddenly were, orders turned up with things missing and no apologies were offered on the contrary I was left to pay for food I had never recieved. Overall it left a very sour taste in the mouth and I hope they read this and change their ways...

Been using this place for 7 years now since it used to be called Tongs.Friendly staff and if you phone and collect they will have your food ready for you in about 15 minutes.The food itself has always been delicious and reasonably priced (hence the reason I've used it for so long) and the new menu offers some Thai and Japanese dishes to complement its comprehensive Chinese menu.A great little place to have just around the corner

Have phoned few times before, and noticed that the lady on the phone has always been slightly funny and rude but have always ignored it. Last night myself and partner decided to order a large amount food and phoned up. Immediately this 'attitude ' I have received before came once again. Never have I had someone in such a position of customer service , be so rude,snappy and sarcastic ! Do not even think of asking for any help on menu choices or recommendations because you will be made to feel like you are asking for an extension on paying your council tax bill ! I'm not a difficult person but this conversation got in to a bitter war of words as I actually could not believe how much this clearly either doesn't like people, or simply her job ! When I asked to speak to the manager, the obvious answer came 'I am the manager ' well good luck I said to her!

I don't know why more people haven't reviewed After 5 yet... I've been ordering takeaway from this place for years, back when Mr. Tong used to run the front counter... now in it's new incarnation, After 5 serves up fantastic Chinese takeout and delivery. Try the crispy duck: always spot on!

Very good Chinese, Thia, and Japanese take away food. Up there with the very best I have ever had. If you order £30 worth of food you can buy a half crispy duck with pan cakes and sliced spring onion and cucumber for only £1 extra. The food is always packed well, and cooked fresh.
