Was there last night for a Birthday meal, place was more or less empty apart from us and still took an hour just to get our starters ! Was very uncomfortable as it was freezing in there 🥶 but was informed heating was on full, our elderly parents had to keep their coats on 👎. Only Morreti on draft so got a large bottle of Heineken which was £6.00 😲 Never again unfortunately, which is a shame as we like to support local businesses, but too slow, drinks extremely expensive and very cold inside 💠

What can I say I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants but this is way down the list of being great.The pasta I had was very bland no taste and the chicken in the meal was hard,I only ate a small amount mentioned it to the lady serving but she wasn't interested.My 9 yr old grandaughter left hers saying it was very greasy.I never complain but the meal was awful.I doubt I will be returning compared to the Prospect and Amlfie etc there is no comparison. NO the wonder it was empty

We visit on very regular occasions, evenings and Sunday lunches. The owners are always very welcoming. We've been in with our grandchildren and there's never a problem. The food is always very good, I can't recommend enough

Just visited for Sunday lunch, was absolutely lovely. The soup was delicious. The 3 of us got chicken Sunday lunches, lovely big potions. Never had a bad meal here. Would highly recommend.

Celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary here tonight. The first time we have been out to dine since Lockdown. We have been several times before and once again we were not disappointed. From being shown to our table by Irene, until paying the bill, absolutely first class. Social distancing was certainly adhered to without being too obtrusive. Full marks. My wife and I shared the potato skins starter and despite "one of us" spilling a glass of water over the starter, we insisted that we should pay for a replacement, Irene was having none of it. The replacement came very quickly. We both had the Salmon Royale for our mains. The salmon was presented extremely well in a beautiful sauce accompanied with vegetables and was very pleasing on the eye and tasted wonderful. We didn't require a sweet as our first two courses were more than sufficient. We shall certainly be going again very soon.

My family and I just had a takeaway Sunday lunch from Adrianos and was very disappointed with it, vegetables rock hard, chicken over cooked, roast potatoes very cold and lunch overall very salty, total waste of money so never again, also owner/manager (male) very miserable on phone and in person !

This was our first visit but hopefully not our last. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We went for the lunch time special, 3 courses for £6.95, a bargain.

I absolutely love having this restaurant on our doorstep. Never had a bad meal. Excellent set menus & plenty of choice on the main menu. The pizzas are to die for, no grease what’s ever, freshly made & full of flavour

Just ordered the lunchtime special 3 course meals for £6.95 each and i cannot fault the food quality, portion sizes, ambience or service. Superb.

Very friendly staff were good with the younger ones. The food is delicious, we've been a few times and tried different things and can't fault it. Great that they also do takeaway (no delivery yet) but if you fancy eating in the comfort of your own home this is a great contender to other takeaways.

This restaurant opened in Castletown,Sunderland just over a year ago. The food is beautiful (not deep fried rubbish). It is a family run business and we love going. The service is excellent, so friendly. My husband is a fine dining chef and is so picky but we love this restaurant and eat here and take our family and friends at least once a fortnight.

Absolutely love this restaurant, in my opinion the best pizzas in Sunderland. Great to attend with with young children, the staff are very welcoming and polite. 👌😀

Popped in for lunch with the girls last week and I will definitely be back. We went for the lunchtime special, 3 courses for 6.95. Potato skins were to die for, lasagne was lush and so filling I couldn't even finish it.

Fantastic little place, we only live 5 mins from this great restaurant. Directly on the local bus route and east access. Great menu and fantastic service. Great meat/fish/chicken menus and also a really good vegetarian selection. Very reasonable and we will be back

Very impressed. Tried for first time and it was early evening so quiet but a warm welcome from friendly staff. Lovely food with a decent range of specials and a varied menu. Will return definately. Very good prices too.And the loos were clean, always a bonus!!

Hidden gem in castletown, easy access with off road parking popped in for Sunday lunch which was fantastic with huge portions! Staff were fantastic will definitley be back.

Been tonight food was brilliant, large selection of food, did not wait too long, went early had a great time.

On a previos occasion my wife and I stopped by to have a meal, as this restaurant had been recommended. However, after ordering drinks I had a phone call announcing a family emergency. We then went back a few days later for a meal, What a surprise, this place has only been open a matter of months but it already has a feel of being an old friend. A warm welcome from Adrian himself settled us down for a most enjoyable meal. My wife and I had variations on the Stroganoff theme - my wife opted for the chicken, I went for the sirloin steak. Both were excellent and tasty. Definitely going back here.

Very friendly staff who did everything they could to please us. Food was good and great value for money. Well worth a visit. Garlic bread was gorgeous.

We’ve visited twice since the restaurant, once on a Sunday for Sunday lunch ( 3 courses for £9.95) & once during the week & we ate from the special menu.

Been in here total of 3 times now pop in for take away lunches I can honestly say it's the best Italians I've had even after visiting one of my favorites for over 25 years this place beats it hands Down
