Abbey Arms in Greenwich

I called in for Lunch as I was passing through, pity I didnt live closer. loved it, friendly members of staff, helpful and an all round relaxed atmosphere. Ok, it was quiet due to not been open for lunch very long, Would love to be about to enjoy the night time. Food was brought to table quickly, very tasty and enjoyable, will definatley be going again. If in the area, can recomend visiting.

The ambiance was fantastic, the staff were lovely and provided great service. Although there was a small error in our order, it was quickly rectified and we were even offered complimentary drinks as a gesture of goodwill. Thoroughly, recommend if you're in the area. Pleasant local pub, fabulously close to the Elizabeth Line.

I was there last night for the open mic night but I left before it start , staff at bar was very friendly apart from the girl , she was very rude and look more interested on talk with her friends and her boyfriend I guess , the food I ordered was very taste , and I need to ask for the other 2 guys at bar to bring my food at table , by the way the guys at bar is lovely . the toilets is ok but I found out young boys smoke inside. The music is ok, next time I spend more time and wait for the open mic night ,I hope my next visit they improve the service and do more regular check on costumer .

Great little pub for a lunch, well decorated for Christmas:) friendly and chatty barmaid Danielle who was very helpful throughout and kept us informed of all the events coming up.

We went there because it was near our accommodation in London. It is a very nice please to have a pint and to get something to eat. We tasted the Calzone (delicious) and the focaccia as well as some pizzas that were really nice. One of my daughters also got the tagliatelle and their were really nice. The waiters and waitresses were also very friendly and kind.

We went to the Abbey Arms while staying at the motorhome site up the road. Barry and his team were really helpful in sorting our family a big table so we could see the football too. The pizzas were ridiculously good and the staff were all great. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again! Thank you! Jonathan & the family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I waited patiently at the bar for a drink just to be ignored and the woman continued to serve other people. Another person waiting realised I had been waiting awhile and I received the nastiest glare from the bartender then she told her colleague of the same colour as me to serve me. If this was the other way round it would be classed as racist. Such a shame the pub has so much potential, but need friendly happy staff

Local to us and our community This Pub has come from a working man's pub to the much Improved family pub it is today. Since being taken over by Dirty liquor we've had some great managers. Today we are in and the amount of new faces is a joy to see. Well done Barry

What a improvement the last few weeks have been Barry is a breath of fresh air for a pub that had really lost its soul.....its nice to feel welcome in our local again

We have been in this pub before Covid, and it was very nice. Now it seems less looked after, if you go in day light it’s a bit shabby- grass that could be cut, just missing love. We absolutely enjoyed quiz night. Even though we came last! It a great fun! And host is brilliant! I would definitely recommend to friends and families to join. We will be back for quiz!

Visited yesterday with a large group of friends for a 30th birthday. The garden which used to be lovely and kept is now overgrown, the tables were all wobbly and covered in bird poo. We went inside and ordered pizzas and more drinks, 6 of the men in the group ordered moretti and all of them came back with flat beer. They tried another beer and that was also flat. The wine tasted as if it had started to turn. The pizzas that did arrive were nice however after an hour and a half we were still waiting on 3 pizzas. We went up to the bar and spoke to the manager who told us that they were coming… they clearly wasn’t and had been forgotten about.. we said not to worry about them and we wanted a refund as the rest of the group (13 of us in total) had eaten an hour and a half ago and it was past the point of 3 more eating. After a discussion a refund was finally given. The toilets were also disgusting, they wernt clean, had no toilet roll in most of them, water was leaking.. it wasn’t nice at all

We bezochten deze pub vanuit camping Abbey Wood. We waren aangenaam verrast. Ruime pub, fijne sfeer en muziek, gevarieerd publiek (vaste gasten, veel mensen die uit hun werk hadden afgesproken en een drankje deden en toeristen), goed eten en prettige bediening. Geen uitgebreide kaart waardoor wat ze goed zijn in wat ze bereiden. Naast de pizza’s kan ik de tagliatelle en borrelplank meat aanraden.

Nice friendly atmosphere but the toilets are disgusting the smell is horrific we try not to sit the toilet end of the pub and the door to the toilets is not self closing and constantly left open

The manager is very rude and disrespectful. We was only there to have a drink to celebrate a birthday and she come over to our table and told us to shut up we was making too much noise.. Wow what a find!!! We'll never order a Dominos again! These sourdough pizzas were fresh, tasty and not a slick of grease anywhere. Absolutely perfect! Highly recommend
