Terrible service we payed 9.99 for are meal and got kicked out and said we wanted a refund but didnt ever get are money back

I don’t understand these reviews, I read them before going and was nearly put off but glad I ignored them. I had the absolute opposite experience. Staff was very welcoming and professional. They were very polite. We came here for the buffet at lunch and had a lovely time, food was hot and fresh and kids can’t wait to go back. Such good value for money. Ignore the reviews I think some people just like to complain. The place was clean and we enjoyed our visit.

I just wanted to praise the staff who were all friendly, outgoing and helpful. Restaurant is clean, and in a good location too. The pizzas could have done with a little longer, but we were headed to the cinema and didn't have time/didn't want to mention it. Would come again!

Not many pizza huts left these days but this is one of the best , place was packed and food was hot and lovely highly recommended

We went there 10 minutes ago and we were spoken to very rudely by all the staff. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and even when the food came, the staff chucked it onto our table with a thud. The bald manager had such an attitude for no reason. I understand that they're lacking staff, but kindess is free. The food wasn't cooked properly - pizza dough was still raw, chicken was warm, not hot (even though it came fresh out). I didn't even get a plate with the food so I had to eat it straight out of the pan. Staff were extremely rude and they seem to prioritise deliveroo orders than customers in the store. It was so bad, I think the chain should just be for deliveries only. Staff were useless and disrespectful - NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, mainly due to its location next to the cinema, but I have truly decided I am never coming here again. During these unusual times, you hope that staff were helpful and considerate with customers working out the new rules, but they are not. The gentlemen that greeted us was friendly enough but rushed through the new rules and once we sat down had no idea. We ordered the buffet and what a palaver that was! Just asking for another pizza took ages and you felt uncomfortable to keep asking, even though its now table service only. When asking about the buffet and clarifying what was included (as clearly what I read was not what I thought and was rudely corrected by a member of staff), I was spoken to with so much attitude and in a condescending manner that made me and my friend very uncomfortable. We are all getting use to these new ways of life but there is no need to speak so rudely and patronising , when the staff should be lucky they still have a job and making more sure than ever that customers are happy and feel comfortable to be eating out . Slow staff with too much sass and attitude, I shall not be coming here again!

The most terrible dining experience ever. Will never visit a Pizza Hut again. All starters were out of stock apart from sweet corn which arrived cold. After complaining they just microwaved & brought back, no apology. Waited over an hour for dessert to arrive, had to get it takeaway. For nearly £14 for two hot brownies we discovered two cookies instead. Terrible food, terrible service, Because of Covid we had to pay upfront on our phones so couldn’t even get refund. To top the night off, my nephew accidentally left his wallet with £200 on seat which of course was never seen again!

We visited the restaurant today, two adults and two children. The guy at the door explained to us how we have to do things nowadays because of the coronavirus. Some items were not available (apparently they are very busy on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to the Eat Out Help Out plan?), so basically the only starters they had were chicken bites and corn, and only ice cream as dessert. We sat down, placed our order and paid using our phone. The waiter came with our drinks (no refills, but the price is exactly the same as before the coronavirus). After a while, brought the pizzas but no salads, no dips, no chicken bites…. We had to ask the waiter three times for this items, and even showed him our order since he did not know what it was (?). Finally, salads arrived after we finished our pizzas, no sorry no nothing. We also had to ask for dessert to be brought, two sad bowls of vanilla ice cream with a tiny bit of chocolate sauce and a funny taste. To top it up, in the table next to us was a kid playing/watching his tablet, full volume, for the whole time we were in the restaurant. Neither his mother nor any member of staff asked him to be more respectful with the rest of the customers sitting next to him. It transpired he was related to one of the restaurant’s employees ….. Appalling service, bad food, half of the menu not available, annoying noise from the kid’s tablet sitting close to us….felt so uncomfortable …… never again, we have been customers of this particular Pizza Hut restaurant for a long time as we are locals, and today is has been the most horrible dining experience ever. What a waste of £50,- . Avoid. By the way, the smell in the toilets is disgusting.....

Pizza was like oily bread, nothing fancy,no taste at all,worst than the street take away pizza shop. Other foods were like dry and cooked for long time, not good at all. Never going back.

We were looking for a quick and easy meal and decided on the Charlton Pizza Hut. We have had variable experience at different branches but hoped this would be okay. Well, it wasn’t okay, it was excellent. The welcome was warm and friendly from two staff before we had even sat down. Then the service was great and good humoured. We went for flatbread pizzas which we had never had before. They arrived in good time, delicious and piping hot. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. We left delighted after a surprisingly excellent meal made all the better by great staff.

Je ne vais pas critiquer les pizzas (c’est une chaîne...les recettes sont respectées et comme tout est cuit dans des fours automatisés, pas de risque de mauvaise cuisson), mais... Accueil super froid, limite désagréable, tables collantes, boisson en self-service, mais nous avons du faire un choix dans tous les verres pour prendre les moins sales...l’hygiène est plus que douteuse (j’espère que c’est mieux en cuisine...mais j’en doute). A éviter !!

Haven't been to a pizza hut in 5 years - it's great!! The pizza is actually very tasty, the restaurant and ambience is friendy for couples, families and children. As a couple in our 30's before the cinema we had a very nice meal indeed. They accept voucher deals as well to give you even more food for your £. What more can you want??

Food was decent but the staff member serving us was very rude. At first we thought nothing of it but noticed he treated us very differently to other customers. We felt very uncomfortable I didn’t want to believe it could be a discrimination thing because we wore religious attire but it felt like it was. Don't think I will be coming here again :(.

Popped in today on the way to Ikea. Waiter came over and took our order. 45 mins later we are still waiting for a mere 2 pizzas. Everyone around us has already been served including a party of 9 behind us, some had even had their meal and left in the time we'd been waiting. Waiter who took our order comes over and says he forgot to put our order through but its in the oven now. No apology for the wait, just a its coming. 20 mins later two very thin and greasy pizzas come our way. Ate them up very quickly as had truly had enough of it all and asked our waiter for the bill. 15 mins later still no bill. Had to walk up to the tills and ask another team member to print out the bill. Really really bad. Wasted far too much of our time and no apology for any of it.

we ate hare while meeting up with family for a catch up. food was lovely, the staff were friendly ( even though we were there several hours hogging a table) and service was quick.

I have no complaints about food. The service was ok. The issue I have is when we arrived, there were plenty of tables, but there was 8 of us (4 adults, 3 children and a baby). We asked if we could sit at the back of the restaurant in a booth so the pushchair would be out of the way next to the window, but the manager said it would be a fire risk and was blocking the walk way. No one would be walking this way if there was a fire!!! Plus all the high chairs were lined up against that same window! So we ended up having to sit in the middle of the restaurant, which wasn't a problem but that meant the pushchair was then placed outside the toilets. To conclude, I wouldn't rush back to this Pizza Hut the next time im in the area. That being said if we didn't have a pushchair with us, I would have scored this a bit higher as the manager wouldn't have ruined the experience.

Visited with friends before concert. Seated quickly and orders taken promptly excellent service. Food was tasty and hot love love love the cookie and ice cream desert the cookie was so warm and sticky perfect desert.

This was the first time visiting we waited 25 minutes to be severed there was only 3 members of staff for a full restaurant. We then waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was lovely and fresh fantastic meat feast pizza, amazing...

The pizzas are getting worse by the day !! Delivery is always late and cheese has become scarce. This needs to change as soon as possible. It’s always disappointing.

Visited after cinema next door . Normally go to Prezzo but gave the Hut a try. Starters were big portions. Pizza was fine, salad bar good, fair choice. Wouldn't have a starter again as you can make one up from salad bar!! Good value

Stopped by for a quick pizza. The staff who served us at this restaurant were efficient but very miserable and unfriendly. The food was your normal Pizza Hut fare, decent pizzas, but the whole experience was let down by the morose staff. Go somewhere else...

The pizza is absolutely divine - not to mention the free unlimited salad and fizzy drink refills. This place has improved greatly since the last time I visited. :)
