Great experience with Lewis today- Fast and friendly service, tasty food.

The waitress that served us was amazing. She was funny, attentive, and always interest to ensure we had a fab experience.

Just enjoyed a lovely dinner at Pizza express Stratford with outstanding service, specifically from Leah and Liam who were so helpful and nice and made the experience even better!

All the staff were lovely, especially Stefan who gave us amazing service

I like Pizza Expresa, but at this branch, their hygeine practices are questionable. As they have an open kitchen, you can see what the cooks are doing. There were several times that one of them kept eating some of the doughballs that came out of the oven, with his bare hands, whilst also plating up the food for the customers. I don't think that's right. Also he was scratching his chin, with his bare hands, and then proceeded to plate up more food with his bare hands 🤢. Sorry but this is an absolute no, no.

Lovely meal and our Waiter Guido was so helpful! As someone with coeliac disease it was great to be asked right at the start before taking our order if we had any dietary requirements or allergies. Made me feel very reassured.

I visited on 30th Nov. 24 on a Saturday evening with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. While we were greeted and seated promptly by the main door, the service quickly went downhill. We waited 30-45 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, which was frustrating, especially since we had a child eagerly waiting for a drink. When a middle-aged, bald European (Italian) waiter eventually came to take our order, the food was served in a timely manner, but he never checked back to see if we needed anything else. After finishing our meal, we waited another 20-25 minutes for the bill, despite calling for it several times. The waiter ignored us until I had to intervene, and when he finally brought the bill, his attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional, throwing it on the table aggressively. This level of service is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Food was good and all was fine until the waiter came to remove my plate. He already had a pile of dirty plates when he came to my table and in trying to push my plate under the pile managed to knock a bowl from the top of the pile, which resulted in my top and coat being sprayed with sauce. Accidents happen and the waiter was apologetic, but I would expect the mess he created to be cleaned up by someone other than me. He disappeared with the pile of plates but left the bowl that had fallen, the table sprayed with sauce and a pool of sauce on the floor. He did ask me if I wanted a wet cloth, but what he brought was a piece of blue kitchen paper that he had moistened, which was absolutely worthless in helping mop the sauce from my clothing. I did wait a while to see if the waiter would return, but he went on to several other tables, obviously having no intention of coming back to clear up the mess he made. Not a good experience.

I had a lovely lunch with my 2 year old here, with very kind and helpful service from Guido who made us feel very welcome. Coming for an early lunch here is a lovely treat for parents and toddlers - you feel welcome and that you're not bothering anyone else! The food was great too.

Very busy day, there was a children's birthday party, so we had to wait quite a while. Food was normal, over priced as any pizza is nowadays. Thanks was a nice meal :)

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. However I was a bit disappointed that the menu online had more options in compare to the menu I was given in the restaurant. However, everything else was perfect. The pizza is incredible, dough balls were something new on a menu, and it was worth its price. It took around 10 minutes for the pizza to be done, and the dough balls, less than 5 minutes. Service was great, the waiters are really nice and made sure we get everything we need.

We were served by Louis, who was informative, funny and genuinely very kind. He made our experience at Pizza Express joyful and pleasant despite it being busy. The food was served hot and tasted fresh, everyone was happy :).

This review has unfortunately been brought down due to one staff member. All the women in this venue were amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and even a few mini conversations about the half term. Once the meal had come to a close, I asked a male worker for he's attention, being ignore I asked again as he passed only to be told with a stern face "wait I'm busy". When he eventually returned I confronted him, he was unapologetic and simply replied "were all human". I thought cool, I'm not going to allow this man to spike my emotions in front of my wife and kids. I made sure to say have a great evening as I left... Manners are free

Served by the wonderful Lewis. He even carried our shopping to our seats! Friendly service and when I asked for an old dish that was no longer on menu, he requested this from the chef and they did this for us. Also, not many establishments take blue light card in Westfield but Pizza Express did! Great end to our shopping experience!

Restaurant opened later than advertised. Only one waitress was serving initially. Really slow service for just a couple of people. Had to request for items multiple times, and then stand up as no one brought the stuffs, (condiments) . Dough balls were the tiniest I had ever eaten in the over 40 years of visiting this chain. The insides wet and sticky. Pizza was also very sticky in the middle of the dough. Really gluey. There was also some anchovy on my vegan pizza. I ate a, piece, thought it was a mushroom, but it was anchovy. Good job I am not vegan, and that I like anchovies. Best branch is still Notting Hill gate. Won't re visit this branch. One year ago I came to this branch and it was OK. Changed since then. In fact when pizza express first opened, nearly all branches were excellent. Several decades after, a noticeable decline in food standards and portions. The more they have been charging, the smaller the quantity, and lesser quality.

A clean restaurant with friendly staff. Partly modernly furnished, the vegetarian pizza was very tasty with a thin base. Personally, I was a little disappointed with the cocktail. Toilets a bit older but clean. Prices are probably normal for the area but rather high.

A good Pizza Express in Westfield, with a calm atmosphere and excellent staff. We were served by Guido who was very attentive and understanding with our young children.

I must say that Guido went above and beyond to make our dining time to the best level. It was my son bday. When desserts arrived he sing happy bday with 2 other team members. Its small extra steps but make huge difference. Thank you Guido. Customer service- 10 out of 10. Food - great price and very, very tasty- compliments to the chefs. I really enjoyed the time, will definitley come back and recommend to friends.

We decided to have a pizza making party for our daughter's 6th birthday at Westfield Pizza Express yesterday. Lewis hosted our party and was the perfect balance of friendly and helpful. He gave clear instructions and lots of praise. The kids had so much fun adding the toppings to their pizza. The session was pacey with no big gaps so everyone kept to task, and lots of yummy food was enjoyed by all (including dough balls and icecream!) Thanks for a great party Lewis! We'll be back again soon.

We recently attended a Kids Pizza Making Party, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff and manager were incredibly supportive, making sure everything ran smoothly. The kids had a blast crafting their own pizzas, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a fun and tasty outing!

My friend and I had the best experience at the Westfield (Stratford) restaurant before going to see a concert nearby! Our server, Lewis, was so personable and lovely - it felt like hanging out with an old friend the whole time! He was attentive, conversational and always on it with checking on us/refilling drinks. Best service I’ve ever experienced at a Pizza Express, or probably any restaurant come to think of it. Plus, I have coeliac disease and was informed of all gluten-free options and assured on the safety when it comes to cross contamination - never feeling like a problem or like I was being difficult. Would definitely revisit and hope to cross paths with Lewis again! - Eden & Eleanor

The food was incredible and the service from the staff was the best i’ve ever received - Lewis made me and my family feel so welcome , by the end of our meal it had felt like i’d known him for years . Most genuinely nice and kind person i’ve ever came across . All good things coming to him he deserves .

Myself and my partner Daisy were walking past this evening and the amazing October classic Pizza deal for £8 took our fancy! We were very warmly greeted by Louis at the entrance, who was incredibly hospitable and made us laugh straight away! Nadia took our order who was also very lovely and helped us to feel right at home. Her Italian charm made it all the worth while. I would highly recommend coming to this Pizza Express just to be looked after by them. They are very good at hospitality and the world could do with more Louis’ & Nadia’s! Bravo! ♥️

Lewis was great and took great care!

Came here on Wednesday with 2 of my friends for some food after 6pm and experienced poor service, we waited quite a while for our drinks. When the starters arrived we had to wait again until someone brought our sharing plates which by the time they arrived the starters were already cold. We ordered desserts which took a long time to make, which then didn’t even look the way it’s described and shown in the image…we then proceeded to get the bill and when asking for help on the card machine as the waiter just put it on the table for us, just to type in everything ourselves, it kept cancelling the payment so when asking for help they replied in a harsh way “you need to read”…

Padana pizza has to be one of my favourites! The flavours of all the different toppings work so well together as you can taste each one. I also order pollo pesto pasta but exchange the chicken for prawns. This dish is super flavour and one of my favourite pastas that I’ve ever had! It is creamy, cheesy and perfect. They also do student discount Monday to Friday which is a bonus! I would still go even if they didn’t have this.

We was served by Nadia today who was so kind and lovely so us. She genuinely made us feel so comfortable and helped us with any other requirements that we needed with our meal. When I come here next time I want to be served by her again she’s amazing!

Lewis (and the manager) were amazing. Great service and when I mentioned a previous customer had left chewing gum on the seat which had gone on my trousers they were extremely apologetic and took a discount off the bill. Very kind of them. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Was greeted and shown to table by a manager in training who was pleasant Lewis was our waiter who took our order first of all he moved us to another table as we was sited next to a table of 4 so we wasn’t all on top of other guests.
