Pizza Express - Stratford Westfield in Greenwich

What a lovely meal we've just had. Our waiter Lewis looked after us so well. He was very friendly, made suggestions as to how we could have our pizza base and kept checking everything was fine with our food. He even helped us with directions with the DLR service not running due to work on the line. Thank you Lewis for making our afternoon thoroughly enjoyable.

We went to Pizza Express at Stratford Westfield to have pizza. Our daughter has sensory issues and allergies, so she can't eat pizza or pasta. Because of this, we brought her usual meal from outside, which she always eats. However, the manager warned us about this. We apologized and explained that we didn't know the rule. sHe then said, "You cannot eat this here." We tried to clarify again that we had already ordered pizza and that the outside food was only for our baby. But he kept insisting, saying, "You should have asked me first" and continued to prolong the issue. In the end, he told us that our daughter was not allowed to eat her food there.Even my husband dont want to wait other restaurant when I and my daughter wait in resturant This completely ruined our evening.

If you get Lewis as your server your in for a lovely experience here at Pizza Express - always had a smile on his face!!! Food was great and would recommend the raspberry cosmo spritz cocktail. Will definitely be coming again!

Me and my friend came on Tuesday and we ordered pizza and then after the service i asked for the bill and then the server is continuously asking us if you want to, leave a tip for me again and again, and he asked at least four times to us, which feels so unusual for me, so I said no, then he started behaving so rude which is very bad and I felt so bad about that. He’s just throwing Bill. He’s just checking the chair and just pushing it, and he’s so badly and rude, collecting each and everything from the table which is not all good. So my experience was really bad and embarrassing.

Lewis was so kind and attentive even on a very busy Saturday. I was also 50p short (embarrassing) and he offered to pay for me. An absolute saint in this cost of living crisis.

We went here on a Friday night hesitant about how busy it would be. But the service was excellent. Food arrived promptly and hot. Waiter was super helpful and kind. ALL the staff here work incredibly hard and it pays off

We asked to place an order 4 times and still had to get the waiter to the table through calling them over. Drink came with no glasses for the beer. No check on the food after was finally brought to the table. The saving grace was that when the food did arrive it was good. Understaffed or poorly organised, the later I think.

Greeted by the best waiter, Lewis. Made us laugh from the start. His service made our whole evening. Highly recommend due to him. Food was lovely and served promptly too. We ended up being late for Strictly tour as having such a nice fun time! Thanks Lewis

Terrible services. It took over an hour to make our pizzas and they have forgotten our order we waited another 20 minutes to make it. Staff unfriendly and manager useless. I have asked about the delay and they just turned their back and said please wait. Completely disaster with only 7 tables occupied in the place. Needs attention from the areial manager .

Today I have amazing pizza ever with great flavor and presentation and a fantastic great service from Lewis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We visited on the 8th of Feb, we were served by Stefan who was a lovely young man and exceptional at his job, he made the experience great from the beginning. The food was delicious, and we had a brilliant time!

Me and my friends went there yesterday, we have been going there for a long time and we noticed a decline in there food menu and service. We just put up with it because its convenient for us but yesterday I was so so disappointed with my Padana caramelised thin crust pizza, the spinach was shoggy, scattered some of of caramelised onion from a jar, raw red onions, it was 😖 and disappointed but I ate it as I was so hungry. The menu keep changing not for the better but for worse . Considering seeking elsewhere to eat with my friends

The staff are so lovely here. Lewis was extremely friendly and helpful. Made sure I was reassured me my allergies would be taken seriously and catered to and that it’s no issue at all!

I had a fantastic experience at this pizza restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked pizzas with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. What made the visit even better was the outstanding service from Aimee. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Her warm and professional approach added to the great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent service!

Long story short: nice staff, great food, not enough people serving, would go again. Nice restaurant; the staff were ok. The food was great. Maybe I went in during a bad time, but it seemed like there was only the manager and a waitress serving while the person who was making pizza was pretty much the only person in the kitchen. There were about four staff members who were on their break; maybe they had a busy morning? (I arrived at 3:15pm.) Pros: - Nice restaurant - Staff were nice - Food was great Cons: - Serving sometimes took a while - Only two staff members serving - There was a fly (which I found weird because the restaurant was in the shopping centre, but I guess these things happen) I gave a tip via the app and it said I gave 5.6%; I initially checked on my calculator and it said 8%. Maybe the tip is shared around or the app takes some, I don’t know. I’ll go again, because I’ve previously went to this one before and had good experiences.

We received our food cold and stale as it was served 50 mins from the moment we placed our order. We got nothing, from our server riekesh who just keeps on passing by our table and deliberately avoiding us. We have to raise our concern to someone until we finally received our food. Which is already cold. The only thing we got is a discount( thank you so much) but he didnt allowed us to use my qr code voucher. A very bad experience from this place and really dissapointing.

I like Pizza Expresa, but at this branch, their hygeine practices are questionable. As they have an open kitchen, you can see what the cooks are doing. There were several times that one of them kept eating some of the doughballs that came out of the oven, with his bare hands, whilst also plating up the food for the customers. I don't think that's right. Also he was scratching his chin, with his bare hands, and then proceeded to plate up more food with his bare hands 🤢. Sorry but this is an absolute no, no.

Lovely meal and our Waiter Guido was so helpful! As someone with coeliac disease it was great to be asked right at the start before taking our order if we had any dietary requirements or allergies. Made me feel very reassured.

Extremely short of staff. Waited 25mins to pay. My server is struggling. I can see he tried his best (dark skin colour male with glasses).

I visited on 30th Nov. 24 on a Saturday evening with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. While we were greeted and seated promptly by the main door, the service quickly went downhill. We waited 30-45 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, which was frustrating, especially since we had a child eagerly waiting for a drink. When a middle-aged, bald European (Italian) waiter eventually came to take our order, the food was served in a timely manner, but he never checked back to see if we needed anything else. After finishing our meal, we waited another 20-25 minutes for the bill, despite calling for it several times. The waiter ignored us until I had to intervene, and when he finally brought the bill, his attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional, throwing it on the table aggressively. This level of service is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Food was good and all was fine until the waiter came to remove my plate. He already had a pile of dirty plates when he came to my table and in trying to push my plate under the pile managed to knock a bowl from the top of the pile, which resulted in my top and coat being sprayed with sauce. Accidents happen and the waiter was apologetic, but I would expect the mess he created to be cleaned up by someone other than me. He disappeared with the pile of plates but left the bowl that had fallen, the table sprayed with sauce and a pool of sauce on the floor. He did ask me if I wanted a wet cloth, but what he brought was a piece of blue kitchen paper that he had moistened, which was absolutely worthless in helping mop the sauce from my clothing. I did wait a while to see if the waiter would return, but he went on to several other tables, obviously having no intention of coming back to clear up the mess he made. Not a good experience.

I had a lovely lunch with my 2 year old here, with very kind and helpful service from Guido who made us feel very welcome. Coming for an early lunch here is a lovely treat for parents and toddlers - you feel welcome and that you're not bothering anyone else! The food was great too.
