Visited this beautiful restaurant on a recent work trip. It has a friendly vibe and the food was exceptional. I felt really welcomed from the first moment I arrived and I was very well looked after by the staff although I was dining alone. Lovely place, I would wholeheartedly recommend! I had the prawn curry and Peshawari naan and I was so pleased

Good value for money, hospitable staff, and great taste. If you want all this at one place, than do visit this place. Loved the lunch here today.

Came here on a double date with my boyfriend and our friends. It took 45 minutes after ordering our food to actually get our starters. We did get a small quick apology off one of the waiters so we didn't care as much as most people would but it was still a bit annoying. Once we got our actual mains my friend noticed there was a hair in her food. We aren’t the type of people to make a fuss of nothing but we could tell it was clearly none of ours. We let one of the staff know and they agreed to replace it but just kept going on about how it wouldn’t be one of the chefs hairs because they wear hair nets. As someone that works in hospitality I know there’s plenty of ways for hair to get in the food regardless of the use of hair nets from the chefs anyway but we just accepted that they didn’t want to believe it could possibly be from them. Regarding the food apart from that, it was pretty good. Tasty but some of the dishes were a bit dry. Overall could’ve just been an off day for them but it wasn’t by any means the best Indian I’ve had.

No need to look further. I had dinner yesterday and came for lunch today. I also know the next time I'm in Leeds, I will be back. Everything in this place is from the heart. Managent, service, vibe and of course the food itself.

I was in Leeds for the weekend and loved this place so much that we had dinner there last night, came back today for lunch, and ALSO got a few dishes packed to take back with us to London — we were obsessed with the food! Not only is this restaurant very authentic, but it actually serves some of the best Indian food I’ve EVER had (and I’m from India). Highly recommend and I hope you open a branch in London haha

One of the best Indians I've ever been to! We went as a large group and found the food and service both excellent, and at a reasonable price too. I wouldn't go for a curry anywhere else next time I visit Leeds.

I visited for the first time tonight and ate one of the best indian meals I've ever had! The service was friendly and welcome and the food was so delicious I didn't even take a photo! Had the mixed vegie starter which was so fresh and full of flavour. The palak paneer and Maratha chicken for mains were also AMAZING! The spice factor was perfect for me, quite spicy but didn't over power the flavour. I will definitely be back.

I tried the Lamb Nilgiri Korma. It was absolutely delicious. The lamb was so tender, I would recommend this dish to anyone who likes a milder curry. 10/10 ! Would recommend Aarti to anyone wanting to try out a new food restaurant in leeds.

Been twice and the food is always excellent!

Was in a rush had not booked they accommodated us but mentioned tables were needed at a certain time. So didn’t scan the menu but the food when it arrived was 1st class , waiters attentive without being intrusive. Great city centre restaurant

Always a treat coming to Aarti! The food is some of the best I've ever had - the Thali's being my favourite, and such a good value for money! The staff are always wonderful and happy to help out, but still keep service fast and reliable. Recommended to everyone I know!

It’s very nice Indian restaurant. Tried few items: Chai while not on menu, is just perfect, though small in quantity. Veg Manchurian 4 ⭐️ , sauce was bit different than i expected but still nice. Dhabeli too 4 ⭐️, was missing the sauce I expected, also bun is not pao Paneer tikka, nice but just 3 pieces.

Absolutely brilliant! Took my family out for a very special meal to celebrate a life event and my expectations were exceeded. Our server was so kind as due to Town being busy, my sister had arrived later than expected, but he was patient, reassuring and utterly wonderful. Made suggestions for our mains which was delicious, small plates for starters were great and mains was as described on the menu. If you like traditional Indian cuisine, Aarti’s is the place to book. Staff were so friendly and upfront, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Love this place! First time I've been and really impressed. The service was great, and the spiciness of the food tailored to personal preference. Food was delicious! Good for gluten free including a beer option.

Delicious Indian food and interesting dishes that you have not always encountered. Aarti doesn't have some typical Indian dishes, but that is an advantage as you are encouraged to try something new. Indian medium was an ample strength for me as a Westerner. I loved the garlic naan, so I ordered a second one.

I recently visited this place and was thoroughly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. The staff made us feel right at home, and the overall vibe was relaxed and inviting. A special mention goes to the Pav Bhaji Rara Ghost – it was absolutely delicious! The curry was rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the Naan. There were also plenty of great options to choose from on the menu, each offering something unique. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a cozy setting!

The food here is incredible. The staff are absolutely lovely and it's reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant. If you love Indian food and want to try a menu that is a little different to the usual suspects, I would recommend Aarti highly. We walked in on the off chance and it did not disappoint.

Service, taste both were good and good nature sitting area

Went to Aarti having read the reviews online and it lived up to the hype. A cozy place for dining and Shyamal makes sure you're treated like guests. We ordered Poppadums (why not) and paneer chilly as starters. Paneer was properly fried which isn't usually in most places, and the gravy was somewhat different from your traditional indochinese dishes. Bit spicy as well, which we liked. We ordered chicken maratha as our main course along with Tandoori roti and puri (not on the menu). The gravy was amazing and very different (not something you'll find in UK so a must try). Tandoori roti were a bit rough and flaky, puris a bit oily but it didn't compromise the taste. (Naan looked quite decent ngl) I'll definitely be going there soon to try more dishes.

Amazing restaurant! Prachi our server was wonderful, and made sure our meals were perfectly tailored spice-wise. Lovely food and service, and super reasonable prices, would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The menu offers plenty of delicious vegetarian and nonveg options. We tried the street food and each was packed with authentic flavors. The dahi puri was perfectly refreshing, while the vada pav had the perfect balance of spice and softness. The samosa chaat was bursting with flavor, and the ragda pattice was a hearty dish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I liked the karma gingerella drink. Highly recommend for anyone craving tasty Indian cuisine!

Food: food was good and tasted very authentic, however the green curry in the photo attached was a tad too sweet for me Atmosphere: cosy and well decorated, bench like seating Price: 20-30 pp, average for the amount we ordered and quantity. Service: waiter was the manager I think, was very friendly and attentive!

This place was soo delicious. Me and my friends happened to stumble in and decided to try out the food. Would recommend the chicken biryani or tikki masala, both were very good. Staff is so kind, and the food is not expensive. Definitely worth going to!

Authentic indian food served which almost gave me a food coma in the end. Would especially recommend Chana masala and the different chaats they serve, including misal pav, Samosa chaat, dabeli, etc.

Wonderful evening at Aarti! We had poppadoms, Samosa, and Seek Kabab to start, then shared our main courses, Palak Paneer, Rara Gosht Lamb, Garlic Naan & Pilau Rice. The slow cooked lamb was perfection! Service was exceptional, and the setting is so inviting and cosy. Reasonable prices, and stunning authentic food. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again! Little gem in the city centre - don’t miss it!

Delicious food and excellent service. We shared a selection of the street food items and they were all tasty. The service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Good value too especially given other options in central Leeds. Visited again in Nov 2024 and as good as last time. Excellent service and delicious food. Samosa Chaat, Chili Paneer and Chana Masala recommended.
