This was first time I’ve ever eaten from here since it took over aagrah but I can honestly say I’m disappointed, it was £45 for two meals which to me for a takeaway is steep, the food was beautiful and tasted amazing but instantly after me and my husband got bad stomach ache and we’ve both been up all night very poorly 😷 such a shame because I’ll now never use again it’s made me ill.

Amazing food, amazing place love it. Haven't tasted anything like it. Will definitely be back 👌

Went with our gang of lads two months ago the food was amazing. My friends know the guys from the other restaurant what they used to work at food was good atmosphere was good. Staff was good quality was good then went back two weeks later with my friend and his wife took them for the first time they fought the food was amazing as well. We are going back again in a couple of week. Look forward to seeing the boss.

Great food good service great place

Have used the aagrah as a take away and a restaurant, while the service is now better the food is not. The dishes did not taste how they do at every other I dian takeaway or restaurant we've used, I my saving grace was the pudding. Unfortunately won't be returning

Really enjoyed our evening, food was delicious, the service was great, our waiter was so attentive as were all the staff, we were a table of six and we all couldn't fault it. This was our first visit since it has changed hands and we would definitely recommend. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the lights that changed colour throughout the meal was a little off putting when reading the menu.

Came for the first time as a table of 10 tonight and will definitely be returning! Excellent food, really tasty and portion sizes are very generous too. What made it for us was the level of service. All the staff were so kind and helpful, always smiling and having a laugh with us and checking in often to make sure everyone was enjoying the meal (we always were.). Our server was a real credit to the team! Thankyou will definitely come back!

Tender loving food, great location and staff

Great place for an Indian meal. Staff all friendly and lots of food choices. Bit pricey so take a heavy wallet. Limited parking so get they early. They also do collection.

First try and not dissapointed food top quality service excellent and given a couple of vouchers for future visits.

Blown away tonight with the quality of food,staff member called Tiger recommended 2 dishes,lamb on the bone medium and Chicken tikka Khari,couldn’t fault these dishes whatsoever,absolutely sublime,lemon rice and garlic coriander naan were excellent also,amazing food and amazing staff,highly recommended.

We thought when Aagrah closed, whoever took over was never going to fill their shoes. But Jumaira is definitely better. The food is gorgeous, the atmosphere is lively and the staff very friendly!

If you like overcrowding, loud chatter and poor quality ingredients then this is the place to be! 40 minute wait for drinks, dry poor quality chicken, naan bread flat and no flavour, not traditionally cooked food. The waiters bombarding and overseeing every bite whilst you eat never felt so uncomfortable. Definitely do not recommend and won't be returning. Another cash cow with cheap products.

One of the best Indian’s we’ve ever had. Service fantastic start to finish. The place was very busy and the atmosphere was great. Food and drinks came quick, staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Food was great, portions were great and even managed to have enough left over for dinner the following day. Would highly recommend, so much so we traveled from Chesterfield to try this place. Will be back.

Terrible, table booked for 8:15pm didn’t get seated until 8:40pm. food wasn’t up to much either definitely won’t be returning

The pickle tray was huge. Much more variety than what I'm used to. The extensive pakistani menu has lots of options for hyderabadi style food. 😋

Food and service where outstanding for a Friday night it was packed as well. Only draw back was the restaurant was very loud tho. The music was too loud when playing you couldn't hold a conversation with the person at the end of the table. Look forward to visiting again.

Used the Aagrah ever since it opened, Jumaira had big boots to fill. Boy how they have done, excellent food, excellent service, would we go back? Yes, but we will go back on a quieter night

Since moving to Yorkshire from Stockport I've struggled to find a good Indian Restaurant. The wait is over. The food is not just good, it's outstanding, the staff are polite and friendly although the place was packed out on a Friday night. The only bug bear was paying £6.50 for a pint of shandy that tasted like a pint of Lemonade, I wouldn't buy that again but it wasn't enough to detract from a very good experience, I highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed with my take away from here and at the prices they are charging I was expecting a lot better! Aagrah, it definitely is not!

Staff friendliness is amazing. Our server Waj was very attentive, and we had a really good laugh with him. The food was excellent, very tasty, and the portion sizes could feed 2 All in all, I would highly recommend Jumaira as a top-class Indian restaurant

Ok visited this restaurant tonight. It’s all systems go. Food was amazing. Service superb. Menu is adopted from Bradford International Restaurant which has been going for donkeys years. Have the chops and liver tikka to die for. Read some other reviews which were just after opening. It’s now settled and is definitely the best Indian food in Doncaster

This is a review of Jumaira restaurant 1st thing was the price of the larger i purchased, it was a pint of Kingfisher which was ok but not what id call a premium larger but it was more than a premium larger id pay for in Doncaster it was £6.50, im not goingvout for a meal to get pi**** so they do these places charge so much for alchol The table didnt have a table cloth on which i do like to have in a restaurant. service was 2nd to non excellent really, food service was quite fast and my fellow customers loved the food my makarno was really good ,a little to sweet for me but next time i go ill ask if they can make it less sweet,prices were quite high but you did get plenty, ill give a example, if i odered the makarno with a garlic nan for pick up it would probably cost about £18/20 but that alone would do me for 3 meals especially if i added a asda £1 rice all in all its my new local indian which i love and like to support so ill definitely be returning ,hope my critical review doesn't go against me my return

We decided to try Jumaira after being long time Agraah regulars & we were not disappointed- waiters were attentive but not intrusive - Shaz was fabulous & beyond patient with my fussy dinner companion! Food was delicious & we were not disappointed!

Had a delightful experience. The mix kebab appetizer was flavorful, and the Lamb Hyderabadi was a standout dish. The Perswiri naan complemented the meal perfectly. The food was amazing, and the service was both fast and commendable. Highly recommended!

First and last time here , regular visitors to the Aagrah , decided to give it a go my expectations were high but left extremely disappointed , sat us at table 19 could of held hands with the next table . Pickle tray ( average ) , lamb chops ( very tasty 👍) then the chicken madras Jesus h it was inedible , made from the depths of hell , the waiter who was fantastic and extremely attentive said next time ask for it to be made creamy , I promptly said I wouldn’t be coming again , my lady promptly said she would , gave me a stern stare and said don’t be rude , I apologise if I was rude but I won’t be returning

Visited last night. Service is good but the food is poor. I had the Lamb Massan something or other, detailed as being three chilies Very oily and very salty and not that spicy. The Chapati was also oily. Won't be visiting again. My dining companions were equally unimpressed. Disappointing.

Great food and service was excellent. Kingfisher on draft was nice.

Awful oily food. The potion size of our mains was generous but was swimming in oil as was the Bombay aloo. Our party of 3 were glad to leave. The service was busy and we felt rushed. The staff cleaned the restaurant around us whilst we ate. We were curious given the positive reviews but we won’t return. There are far better Indian restaurants around.

Disappointing... After years of being a regular customer at Aagrah it's replacement is a sore disappointment. Delayed in preparing the food for collection, and when it was ready the food was more oil than sauce. Afraid to say, we won't be going back!

My go to take away when I need a decent authentic warming curry. I'm vegan so usually order the bhindi side dish which is delicious,chapattis and tandoori rotis are always fresh too, and some of the starters are also vegan friendly. Can't wait to order again, or I may dine in sometime 😁 thanks for feeding me Aagrah staff and keep doing what you're doing. Your food is as good as the places in Bradford and that's saying something!

Last time I went it was my 40th 5 yrs ago, love atmosphere, expensive night out but always nice food, hope new restaurant in it's place is as good...

As always, great food, with the exception of the popodomss that were not crispy, but actually soggy. Staff fantastic! Longer wait than usual, because of cooking the buffet food and topping it up regularly, great if you are having a buffet, not so good if you are ordering from the menu. As always, professional, courteous and clean.

The food was absolutely incredible but the customer service I received was not good at all. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. Very disappointed.

Called this place to ask if the buffet was still on they said yes but would need to be there within the next hour. Travelled from an hour away, was literally 5 minutes late and they refused to give the buffet even though they weren't closing up for another hour.

Lovely place, food was amazing , we had been looking for a good Indian buffet since my parents moved up that way from the south and we was not disappointed. 100% we will be visiting again around Xmas when we are back up.

We happened to pass this restaurant on a long journey and decided to stop for a meal. Even though they were busy they still managed to fit us in with just a few minutes wait. There was a very good selection on the menu and the food was delicious and arrived in good time even though there were two large parties dining there. Lovely friendly staff made us feel very welcome. It's just a pity that it is too far from home to visit on a regular basis, but we would thoroughly recommend the place.

Wide ranging menu. Food is good and plentiful. Seemed popular, nearly full on a Wednesday night. Got their own free car park just off the main road.

Staff are warm friendly and welcoming. Food is out of this world. As someone who was brought up in the Middle East, this made me feel like a kid again. The food is unbelievable it is so good. Highly recommended to anyone that wants not just great food but unbelievable food and service

Just spent £65 on a treat takeaway for me my husband my dad who has dementia and his disabled partner....it was cold...not much meat...really disappointed and feel totally ripped off...used to visit the restaurant often...never again after tonight...should have been a treat...instead it was cold slop...should be ashamed to send it out to loyal good paying people...don't order from here...you will be massively disappointed...I should be totally refunded...I actually ate none of it..also...curry was all over the delivery box...cold chips cold rice cold nan cold chapati...miniscule onion cold baghis..cold white uncooked samosas... You should be ashamed to serve food that bad...£65 for the distbin

Travelled an hr to have a meal here, to be fair before we set off they said the last buffet is at 9PM when we called and enquired, we got there 9.07PM due to traffic and they said it's over. The food which was there seemed very limited too. Would not go here again.

My husband passed away 2 year's ago, went tonight for the first time since. It would have been his 65th birthday it was really upsetting but all the staff made it so welcoming and put all the family in a quiet area Thank very much x💚x

OMG....I've had takeaways from you before and always enjoyed them, but last night's was out of this world! I had chicken tikka madras. I could taste every single spice, the meat was beautiful and the heat was spot on. Sooooo pleased xx

Have been several times over the past 20+ years . Celebrated birthdays in the evenings, mother's days at lunch time and have had Christmas menus. Food is always on point . Car parking available, can get full in the evening. Reception area / drinks area / waiting room area for you to wait for your table if you're early , or wait for your taxi , etc . Wc are upstairs. Clean . Waiters are friendly, efficient and polite. Best Indian restaurant in Doncaster.

Had a very average to poor meal and the waiter never let us know the meal we asked for was a meal for two. (Did not see this on the menu) So we ordered one each so far to much food. Worst £100 spent ever.

Love Curry? Love Doncaster? Come to Doncaster for a curry at Aagrah. Staff are really fast on their feet & the naans are medium sized.

Food good service not good was mainly spoilt by staff moving stuff around tablets and chairs and service trolleys while we were still eating this was at 10 pm so not late spoke to a member of staff they said it at to be done because they need to go home spoke to manager he said yes guys need to get sorted

We went as a family for the first time to Aagrah and had one of the most pleasant experience. Came for my brothers birthday and a break from reality as we don’t get to go out for meals as a family anymore, due to work. Our food was more than perfect, empty plates and 4 stuffed belly’s with a bonus of a doggy bag. The spice was on point, just like how we like it back home. The staff were really friendly and took care of me and my family well, from explaining the menus to my mum to recommending some great dishes. 10/10! Special thanks to the gentlemen that took our order and served us as he was way too kind. Overall, we had a beautiful experience from walking into the restaurant to the owner coming to say hi and have a friendly chat, and even on the way out. The story behind the owners upcoming to this point with his restaurant is very interesting and worth the listen. Can’t fault this place at all, will be returning. And definitely recommending.

Have been in the restaurant before, and the meal was lovely. However, the takeaway, was very poor. Too much to complain about. Onion Bhaji was awful. 4 battered things the size of eggs. They were so stale, they must have been sitting there for hours. Requested a mixed kebab. Two pices of meat. No chicken tikka, no lamb! Mains. Chicken Tikka Masala was definitely not Masala....looked more like the chicken Hyderabaldi! I asked for tikka Hyderabaldi... was not tikka. Mushroom Pilau, as just plain Pilau with a layer of mushroom in top. Why are they not in the rice! Nanns, popperdoms were lovely. All in all, very poor quality, and attention to detail. Takeaway for two, for over £50. Will not be back here for a Takeaway

Went to Aagrah for the Christmas Day buffet. Booking was easy and got a receipt when paid the deposit. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked politely to take a seat and wait until a table became available. We waited around 25 minutes. The buffet was a mixture of Indian food and English. It was hot, fresh and tasty. It was regularly being topped up throughout the time we were there. Although we had to queue for the food, we weren't waiting that long. The staff worked extremely hard yet remained attentive and polite, never dropping the standard of service they gave to each and every customer. Would definitely go again on Christmas Day. Highly recommended place to go.

Half of food forgotten, spoiled a good day

Second time at this place 1st time we dined in and food was burnt 2nd time we got takeaway and the curry’s was more like a soup I have had tastier fake aways from Asda ! can say I won’t be eating /ordering from here again not worth the money at all! Total disappointment!

Gone here many many times with different family and friends groups or as a couple and the food was as good as always. But the waiters we had were nothing like as friendly as usual I fact practically ignored things we said and we only said very complimentary things. It was as if we were an inconvenience. Not been like that before the staff are usually really friendly. Maybe it was because they were very busy but its usually that busy. It sort of fidnt feel as welcoming as usual.

I've had great times from every occasion I've been there. The experienced staff are very friendly, professional and are very knowledgeable of the menu, which help with recommendations. The food is incredible. (depending on what one orders) I tend to go for mediumly spiced food and it was absolutely packed with flavours. It also didn't blow a hole in my soul. The atmosphere is cosy, with clean and uncrowded presentation. Will recommend and return!
