805 Restaurants in Barnet

Normally go to 805 on Old Kent Road which is really great food, good service and reasonable value. We were close to 805 Hyde Park so dropped in. The service was very good with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately only maybe a quarter of the food menu was available. Customers actually walked in, were told various dishes weren’t available so the customers walked out. We ordered Beef Suya, Jollof Rice with chicken, Egusi with fried fish, 2 cokes and a Gulder beer and it came to £116.44. The food was very nice but over priced compared to the same food at Old Kent Road. Egusi with Fried Fish £30, Old Kent Road £22. Beef Suya £24, OKR £17. Jollof Rice with Chicken £27, OKR £18. Gulder beer £11.50, OKR £6.50 Coke £5.50, OKR So the cost of a meal with a limited choice is not really worth it even though the restaurant is in a central location. I’ll be heading back to Old Kent Road for my Nigerian food fix in future.

We placed our order an hour ahead of collecting the meal. We were made to wait 50 minutes before the order was ready. This happens every time. The service is slow

The edikaikong soup was watery and tasteless and meat was chaffy! Place was cold and had to request for the heating to be put on.......not good value for money.

The restaurant told us we can only order takeaway although we got there over hour and half prior to closing time. They were not able to fulfil my order of efo with fried fish . Hugely disappointed.

My friend and I went for a meal (and obviously a/some drinks) and were astonished with the service rendered as well as the food. Something worthy of noting is the fact that the manager (Mr Peter) comes to make sure that your orders/requests are promptly taken and you are attended to in a timely manner.

Worst restaurant service in London , it took an hour and 40 minutes before I got my food , the monika fish came and it was stale !!! It was actually smelling . Terrible 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Ordered through uber eats, it came quickly. Ordered Egusi soup and pounded yam. Honestly, didn’t expect it to smell so bad and the goats meat wasn’t cooked well. Really disappointed because people gave me good reviews. Sadly, won’t be ordering in near future.

This was my favourite Nigerian restaurant. Today I visited and collected a takeaway. When we reached home we found that the Monika fish was burnt!!!! I called the restaurant and was eventually put through to Jonathan, who told me he was “the owner of this branch “ (Vivian Avenue). He proceeded to inform me that the fish is grilled....it’s not burnt. I took exception to this As an adult I think I know when my food is burnt. He had not even seen the food!!!! After much arguing (putting on the worst attempt to speak polite English) he asked to me to bring it back do that they can inspect it to see if it’s burnt!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! Such a poor excuse for a manager:/owner. We decided to just bin the fish and order from Enish. Ps: - The jollof rice also tasted old. I will never go back there again!! Waste of my £25!

Some very tasty Nigerian food, I highly recommend it. However, make sure you know what you’re expecting if you order the Ogbono soup, it’s a delicacy with a uniquely bitter taste that’s tough for beginners.

Just want to say Wow!! I have no more words to elaborate this place. Truly fantastic place and excellent services. The entire staff was well-maintained and excellent in their work.. They went extra mile to satisfy their customer needs. Definitely extreme guys and wonderful pricing!!

This is the fifth time I’ve ordered over the phone to be told they don’t have the food I ordered available. After having me wait over an hour with a poor apology. The Old Kent Road branch is much better. If you don’t want to be disappointed or have your time wasted don’t go.
