Tasty pizzas, arrived within a few minutes of ordering, great base and tomato sauce. But what was outstanding was the waiter who was super professional and made us feel very special.

Great place for a nicely prepared pizza An independent small restaurant where they will accommodate any reasonable request - the wood fired pizza is cooked on the oven in the corner Far different to a National type Chain. Both pizzas we ordered were perfect in texture and topping We have been here before a short walk from Brixton Academy - and will be back

Has the dough changed or is the oven broken? The dough was like tough cardboard today when I got a delivery it wasn’t nice at all. I went for Parma ham as extra and it was ridiculously salty. Really wish I’d ordered from somewhere else as I think I’ve been conned on the quality and dough :(

Really delicious pizza, the dough was perfectly cooked and the toppings plentiful. Wood fired Oven gave it great flavour. Very reasonable prices £17 for a bottle of wine and under £10 for all pizzas!!! Would recommend to anyone- little hidden gem of Brixton!

My partner and I ate here Friday night, we had a pizza each and a goats cheese salad to share, and Moretti beer on draught. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious, we finished everything! Definitely recommended!

Tucked away down a side street (and recommended by our AirBnB host). Across from the Post Office. Food was absolutely wonderful, particularly the fresh, sourdough crust. Service was fast and the prices excellent. Two pizzas and a small goat-cheese salad filled up our family of 3, with a couple of slices for late-night snacking.

A friend and I visited for an early dinner before a gig at Brixton Academy. It must’ve only been 4:30pm so we were probably the first customers of the evening. We were created quickly and cheerfully by a meme bee of staff and given the choice of any table we liked. We took our time ordering as we had plenty of time and didn’t feel at all rushed. I had the “meat special”, a white pizza with ham and n’duja sausage. My friend ordered a vegetarian option, also a white pizza, with courgettes. Both the pizzas were on our table within 10 minutes if ordering. Exceptionally fresh, hot and delicious. I ate everything but a small piece of crust. My friend, who normally doesn’t eat all that much ate most of hers leaving only around half the crust. We shared a bottle of the house rose which was fruity and refreshing. For £35 you can not argue with this. I will definitely visit again. Cheers!!

We were late putting the children to bed one night, and feeling very tired, so we agreed on ordering a delivery for dinner. A friend had recommended this place, so we gave it a go. The pizza options for vegetarians seemed very limited, with no option to amend any of the toppings, but my wife was keen so I settled for a margherita. It wasn’t cheap, but we knew the prices before ordering. It wasn’t until after placing (and paying for) the order that I was notified that our pizzas would take an hour to deliver. I found this surprising, as we live just a three minute walk away, and when I drive past it on the way home from work it takes about thirty seconds in a vehicle. Still, we were hungry and tired, and in any case I had already ordered and paid now. I received a confirmation message telling me to sit back and wait for my pizza. As the clock ticked past 10pm, we were feeling incredibly hungry by now, and it had been over an hour, so my wife suggested that we phone up and see if we could check on the progress of the order. At this point I now discovered that later in the evening they had sent another message saying that they would not be delivering to us after all tonight, but instead we would get a refund at some later point (I actually got my money back the following day). By now it was far too late to wait another hour if placing a fresh order from somewhere else from scratch, so we ended up having beans on toast then going to bed. If they had simply been unable to deliver (because they were too busy or something) then fair enough, but they actually went so far as to take my order and my money, and even then send me a confirmation message saying that my order was on the way, before seemingly changing their minds later on. Consequently, they’ve managed to lose a customer without even getting a penny out of me in the end, which is quite some feat.

We recently held a children's birthday party in Brixton and had preordered pizza from a large chain (as we were not familiar with the area). Disappointingly the preordered pizza did not turn up. With only 30 mins to go before the end of the party...

We were surprised that the restaurant was so quiet on a Thursday evening - a good trade going on in take-aways (a procession of men in motorcycle leathers arriving to deliver) but we were the only diners. But the food was excelllent. A good simple...

This is really excellent pizza. The menu is simple, and with a genuine wood-burning pizza oven, all orders are incredibly fresh and delicious. The desserts are really disappointing so if you're still hungry, go somewhere else for cake. But after a really good pizza, you...

Great little pizza addition to Brixton. The capricosa was particularly good. Fresh ingredients and a chef who puts a lot of love into his craft results in a great tasting pizza. We'll be back.

Agressive staff. We were served three scallops starters after what I thought was a clear explanation that we wanted for the three of us to share one as we already had another starter. Perhaps there was miscommunication, but the plates were quickly dropped off at our table and our explanation shunned. Not that we are cheap, but it essentially added 30 pounds to the bill. We felt bullied and embarrassed by the situation, and it left a very bad taste in our mouth. Speaking of bad taste. Let’s talk about my main. Overcooked pasta served on a carved out lobster carcass, except for one mouthful of lobster. This was supposed to be a pasta and lobster dish for 28 pounds. I had no idea discarded lobster was so expensive. The sauce had zero flavor except for a massive amount of mouth numbing salt. Perhaps others enjoy mediocre Italian food. I don’t. An unfortunate restaurant choice, leaving us sad and feeling used as we are locals who believe in supporting businesses.

Expensive £11 sandwiches but they are very tasty and atmosphere is nice and cosy if you can get a table. Quite small, not many seats in the cafe. Basement is not very nice.
