5 Flavours in Doncaster

I've been trying out different takeaways in Doncaster, and I've finally found my new favorite: 5 Flavours. The food is absolutely delicious - I've tried a few different dishes, and they've all been amazing. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are spot on. Plus, the staff are super friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

Customer service experience is my best in Doncaster, really looking after customers. Recommend 100% and definitely will back

We had a sandwich from the cafe cheese and beetroot the cheese was frozen did not enjoy

I Had a chicken curry and rice with some chips for my tea, the next day I had pains in my stomach and ended up with food poisoning, I was told by a friend they had stomach upset also from this same good establishment, they must be using bad qaulity chicken. I'm sorry but I won't be using this buisness again.

Have always got food from here never complained always been okay, got a pizza today that tasted of pure salt, the taste of salt was over powering. I called them up to tell then and was met with complete rudeness, being told they've made it the same way for years and them proceeded to ask why I'm even calling and then hung up the phone on me. Clearly cannot take criticism. Won't be getting food from here again.

I work in the area, used this place a few times and not one to write a review but this is the third time I have found a big thick black pubic looking hair in my food, staff are not wearing hair nets and it’s disgusting, you pay nearly 10 pound for a chippy meal to have hairs repeatedly in your food, food tastes alright although wouldn’t reccomend, unhygienic - in response to your reply… I returned as they is nothing else open on an afternoon around here and I was hungry… mistakes happen so I thought the chances of me having another hair in my food would be slim… however they was another thick black hair as you can see in the picture!!! & I have ginger hair so it’s definitely not mine… instead of arguing and refusing to take accountability for giving me food with hairs in you decide to call me ridiculous so therefore I will be reporting this to health and safety standards and we will see if you can upkeep that 12 year hygiene rating with pubes in your food…. Why not apologise like any other normal human being…. Too add to my review don’t order from here as clearly the staff are rude and don’t respect paying customers 😂

Love 5 flavours. Especially the homemade fish cakes and curry. Outstanding. Very friendly staff.

For price I’d expect better, not a jacket potato filled with black lumps! Nearly £3 per filling which is extortionate especially when you get a sprinkle of cheese, straight in the bin🤢

Really large jacket potato and filling. Very generous and the red cabbage in the salad is AMAZINGGGG

The food was lovely and I can't fault it .. The service wasn't good though which puts me off going in again .The girl who served me wasn't welcoming and I actually wondered if I had offended her by daring to order a meal .☹️

Hands down the BEST takeaway about around DN5. None stop phenomenal food. I can only speak on behalf of the pizza meal deals and the stunning chippy side to 5 flavours. Also you can’t go wrong with the chicken strips. The jacket potatoes are always massive and crispy however that would be the healthy option and the pizzas are just too good to not get. I’ve not even had a 5 flavours today but they are always on my mind hence the review.. The fries you get are the crispiest fries to grace a takeaway - compared to other places which are soggy and tasteless. You cannot go wrong with this place.. Never any issues with my meal always stunning

I've just been charged £5.90 for a fish pattie and small chips. The menu posted says £1.70 each. Allowing for price changes and other local chippie (Franks) charge about £4.20. Weren't the best either was given a fish cake. Not what I ordered. Staff were more interested in talking to each other. It'll be a long time if I ever go back.

Fresh food and very very taste I traveled from manchester to buy a van I got hungry and search food near me I saw flavous and I fallowed from the reviews which is great 👍

Ordered donor kebab, cheese, salad and coleslaw in a pitta, when I rang to order the girl on the phone was useless took about 3 minutes to take my order. Tried to overcharge me by £4 as well. When I got meal home I just had a box of kebab meat with no pitta bread !! Normally nice food but feel really let down by latest experience

Went to get a tango ice blast, they do it for you and the cups are way smaller than tango blast cups £4??? Ridiculous

Prices are a joke now, for what you get and to make it worse they put the portions in the small side of the trays ie. The top Used to be the best now they greedy for money zero stars

The food didn't take long, ordered burgers and pizzas. We went home and the food was lovely highly recommend. Prices are good as well 🙂

Ordered two fish specials and 1 kiddies meal firstly they got the order wrong with one fish special putting fish on it instead of sausage plus the two meals made my partner and her child very poorly and both ended up vomiting straight after eating

Tastey well made fish n chips and good sized portions. You can expect proper chippy chips from here and to top it off they do pizzas, burgers, donner kebabs, curry, rice, SFC, chicken wings, jacket potatoes and a lot more! Only problem is they have hiked their prices up from October 2021 and now a meal works out very expensive.

Wide variety of food and always do a delicious hot breakfast sandwich! Must have ordered loads of sausage, egg and hash brown baps from here and always get a lovely runny yolk every time Delivery always on time, usually quicker than estimated!

Absolutely delicious food across a wide range, which is rare. Usually if somewhere doesn't seem to have a focus all their food suffers. Not so here, but the highlight is definitely their burgers (which are amazing) It is all reasonably priced, and definitely cheap for the quality

This is a quality takeaway. Very clean place with a wide choice of items on the menu. The menu card itself speaks "quality". The jacket potato and beans was a massive portion and very good. Chicken curry - one of the best ones I've had. Deep pan pizza also delicious. Food wasn't too salty or all greasy like in many other independent takeways. There's ample parking just outside. I would definitely recommend 5 Flavours and will be ordering here again. Pics of their beautiful menu card attached.

Fantastic chip shop. Served quickly great food

Simply the best fish and chips for miles around. Gorgeous fish cooked to perfection every time. Proper Chip shop chips, not fries, cooked just the right way. Great portions, great prices, great team, great fish and chips! There is NOTHING not to like about this. Add pizzas, kebabs and more and this is the place to go!

Always a good place. Been forever and never had an issue. If you haven't been. Ask yourself why?

Pizzas and chicken shish. Absolute class.

Always finished with a clean plate. I always ask for just one scoop of chips with my teatime special and still get plenty.

Tried this takeaway on recommendation from my Uncle. Fish and chips, absolutely awesome. Fish cooked to perfection and plenty of lovely chips. Will definitely be returning to this takeaway.

Has an amazing selection of take items including chips, burger, kebabs, potatoes, chilli, etc. If its a big order then call a head as its been very busy lately.

Food really nice, but just seen the new price increase! Chips, curry, fish etc fish gone up by 60p, suppose it's the fault of brexit lol. Back to Frank's I think

Well 5 flavours, usually nice chips here but today was awful, chips seemed has if they where cooked hours before then warmed up. Seemed very hard and dry threw them in the bin, Maybe a one off ?.

Had large cod chips and peas the potions we're very generous the fish was perfectly cooked, the staff are very polite and shop was spotlessly clean I can highly recommend five flavours

5 flavours has always been my go to chippy but recently I have been disappointed. Raw chips tonight and and on other occasions. Some of the staff are rude and pushy and seem to get annoyed when you hesitate when ordering. Might have to go back to franks. 🤔

Waited 25 minutes to get dinner and they served people who came in after me even though what I ordered was in the display cabinet. Will not shop there again and will not recommend this place quite the opposite.

Been quite a few times now since we moved this way and all I can say is the staff are friendly and polite, the food is great, the portions are generous and their fish patties (proper Sheffield fishcakes!) are fantastic. Their prices are good too. I'm going down again in a few minutes.

Had fish and chips; great portions, no flavour. Very long wait for fish to be cooked. Looks extremely clean. I would try something else from there, but for f+c go to a proper chippy.

Had a kebab it was proper greasy and once about 20th March 2018 someone rang up and someone who worked there started swearing at them I still have the recording of the call and the guy still works there
