40 23 Limited in Birmingham

This place seemed ideal but with one inside table (occupied) and a bar with stools (occupied) at 12.15 p.m. we didn't get the opportunity to try the food.

Excellent service and Greek food. Well worth a visit. The staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic and certainly know about their product.

I usually order this takeout during the week during work because the prices are fair and I really like their greek salad, plus its just so easy. I've eating in the restaurant once or twice, but what I really do is order and pickup. Their pita bread is really fluffy and soft, and their gyros are pretty good as well.

El sitio es pequeño, pero tiene un par de mesitas por si quieres sentarte a comer mientras ves pasar el tranvía a través del cristal de su ventana/escaparate. La atención es muy profesional y la comida es sabrosa y de calidad. Está a un paso de la estación de tren.

Lo que ha sucedido a este lugar? Comencé la visita hace más de dos años, y utilizada para encantar (buena comida a un precio razonable, personal agradable). Durante el último año ha ido mucho peor. La comida es grasienta y calidad ha disminuido notablemente, al mismo tiempo que los precios han subido y el personal se ha convertido en un grosero.

Always a different selection when I visit but every dish is delicious. Easy to over order but you can get a bellyful of food for under a tenner

Me encanta este lugar utilizado. La última vez que estuve aquí (verano 2016) La comida era excelente. Volvimos la semana pasada y nos pareció que el menú ha cambiado. El souvlaki pollo ordenados y decepcionó profundamente. El pan de pita era dura y el pollo muy insípido. Los souvlakis solía venir con patatas crujientes delgadas, pero han sido reemplazados con patatas fritas macizos que también eran insípidas. Ensalada era inexistente. Al menos la gente era muy amable. Trae los ingredientes viejos/receta, por favor!

Lo que pasó 40 a 23? He revisado este lugar en febrero y nos dio una reseña de cinco estrellas. Por desgracia la calidad de la comida ha bajado a rock bottom desde entonces.Yo le aconsejo que no para pedir comida para llevar de este lugar hasta que solucionen cualquier ha ido tan mal mal.Pedí tomar via Deliveroo lejos de ellos, algo que anteriormente llevaron a la deliciosa comida griega enviada directamente a mi puerta, esta vez sin embargo:el pollo estaba dura y sin sabor, lo mismo para el cerdo.Ido era el pan ligeramente cocidos suaves, pita con aceite de oliva, en panes eran duras de lo esperado barato pita.Anteriormente la comida llegó con patatas finas lonchas en vez de patatas fritas, llenos de sabor y un agradable cambio de patatas fritas. Estas han desaparecido, para ser reemplazados por las rústicas papas fritas al estilo que no tienen sabor, salvo que de decepción.La ensalada de acompañamiento se ha convertido en el estándar para llevar comida de lonchas de lechuga y salsa de misterio.La única cosa que todavía probado fueron las verduras asadas.Mirando otros comentarios, personas que en persona todavía parece tener una buena experiencia, pero ¿qué pasa con la comida para llevar?

I popped in for a snack: a halloumi and grilled veg wrap. It was delicious. The staff were really friendly and eager to please. I even got a discount with my independent Birmingham card. Fabulous - thanks guys!

Este pequeño lugar de comida griega es escondido en la calle Stephenson que el tranvía sólo espera. Está situado entre el pelo y un Griego Hush delicatessen. Disfruté el pollo souvalki que también venía con patatas fritas, ensalada y yogur de vestidor. La comida estaba recién cocinados a la orden y perfectamente sazonada y muy muy sabrosa. Este lugar es un verdadero hallazgo y lo único malo es que el lugar es muy pequeño.

Fuimos a este lugar porque habíamos leído buenas críticas. El restaurante es pequeño, sólo 3 mesas y no los aseos. El personal es amable y el servicio es rápido. El precio de las comidas es barato. Nuestros kebabs eran deliciosos y sabrosos. Sin embargo, estaban demasiado grasiento.

La comida era decente para el precio. Yo tenía un buey y el cordero kebab. Sin embargo, la inspección había prácticamente sin carne, pero lo que era agradable. Las patatas eran excelentes y bien sazonada. El servicio también era bueno. Como un chef yo no sé cómo el chico se maneja en un espacio tan estrecho? De todos modos decente para una comida rápida y no demasiado caro

Para una envoltura paró de befteki con queso, ¡excelente! Gran lugar para conseguir comida rápida griega. Servicio amable y un ambiente relajado. Muy cerca de la estación de New Street, pero mucho mejor que la mayoría de las cadenas de comida en el grand central

Es una pena tener que escribir esta crítica. El lugar es bonito y un par de mesas acogedoras lo hacen único. El servicio también fue muy amable. El menú de comida necesita ser más prominente y explicado mejor. El horario de la comida en sí estaba cubierto en aceite. Me fui después del gimnasio y estaba deseando que algunos auténticos de cocina griega, especialmente después de las buenas críticas. Por desgracia no fue buena, muy grasienta.

Love this place. The food is amazing and very reasonable. We went for dinner and the chef apologised for wait (a grand total of about ten minutes!), but we'd have happily waited longer for food that good at that price. Can highly recommend.

Great tasty food and pleasant, if rather laid back, staff. Very small, so another great for eating in but no complaints regarding food. Delicious. We had Cretan salad covered in grated feta and thyme?, then found we were too full for the souvlaki we had ordered. Asked for a doggy bag and staff offered to cancel our order. Appreciated this.

Today we ordered two meals, large Diced Pork and large Diced Chicken, with deliveroo. Unfortunately, we had to throw away nearly the whole meal because it was of extremely poor quality. The whole box was drenched in oil. The salad consisted mostly of onions and the actual salad seemed quite old. The pork just consisted of fat and the size of the meal was definitely not large. Furthermore, the yoghurt sauce was missing in both meals. The pita bread was squashy and oily. We had the impression that both meals were not freshly made before the delivery.Unfortunately, this was a very disappoiting experience and we are stilly hungry. I really cannot recommend the food, at least not when having it delivered.

So disappointed! We ordered 2 x regular grill halloumi and vegs, 1 spinach pastry and 1 dessert.When I opened the bag my first impression was only greasy paper bags inside, no a proper take away boxes.Our meal was called: Grilled halloumi and vegs...There were only 1 small slice of halloumi per person, grilled pepper, onions and chips and no yogurt sauce (something they made me angry).They sent us a cheese pastry instead of the spinach one and small dessert portion.I called and they told me that if I wanted more halloumi I should have ordered the larger option, something that made me laugh when the main is called Halloumi with vegs, but wow, only one slice of halloumi per person? Really?I paid £20 and we were still hungry after dinner.Also the packing was a paper bag. If someone is going to eat there then fair enough but for a deliveroo service I expected better quality, it was all messy in the bag.Really bad experience sorry.

Fairly priced Greek cafe, feels independent and authentic - Birmingham needs more places like this. The grilled aubergine wrap is delicious.

A friend of mine introduced me to 40 23 after raving about the quality of the food. I tried the chicken wrap and tzatziki with pitta, and it was absolutely beautiful. I plan to go back very soon. The staff were wonderful to us. It felt like I was sat in a small restaurant on a cobble street in Athens. We went for a late lunch and the atmosphere was great. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Greek food.

Food is great, authentically Greek, good price (most things under £6). Service it's typically Greek (bad), but the staff are lovely and enthusiastic. Very little space to sit and eat, though everything can be taken away.Definitely worth a trip!

A friend introduced me to this place and i am so pleased! I had the Chicken souvlaki, glad I got the large portion because it came with excellent sliced fried potatoes. The bread base was very tasty. Loved the condiments un big jars too. A little oregano was perfect.

Wow, everything I have had here has been so good, and the value is amazing. Can only see them outgrowing these premises and going on to bigger things, If your thinking about trying just go for it!

This is takeaway food with a difference, which was recommended to me by Greek friends who go there when they want a taste of home.It is fresh cooked Greek comfort food. The food does take a bit of time to cook but it is worth it. I am a big fan of the souvlaki, and the pita bread and sliced potato fries are incredible.The portions are good, and really reasonable-not expensive at all for a city centre place considering the quality of the food. All food is served in takeaway plastic trays.You can eat in, however there are only three tables (the place is tiny) so takeaway is a better option (they also do delivery via Deliveroo).

The food is fantastic. Fresh, authentic, bread is beautiful. The staff are friendly and work very hard. The prices are incredibly low for what you get. I will return. HOWEVER.....the place is filthy. The cooking area is fine but the small area with seats and stools hasn't seen a cleaning cloth for a long time. It isn't just grubby, it's dirty. The walls, the seats, the stools, the floor, the door, everything needs a very strong deep clean. Sorry guys but you know it's the truth.

The souvlaki was incredible, flatbread was fresh along with the salad & chicken. The little potato chips they put In are incredible. Great value for money.

I had the meatballs with tomato and herb sauce which came with rice, salad and bread. It is a good tray full for the price, and it is a good alternative lunch place. Everything tasted nice and fresh, and served fairly fast.

Met up here for a delicious lunch of halloumi salad, veg stew, potatoes and roast peppers and aubergine. Chef was very helpful and great speedy service. It was so tasty.

Moussaka and souvlaki. All hot and large portions so go hungry. Very limited seating but super friendly staff and delicious food at very reasonably prices. Can't wait to go back x

We have been there as we wanted to eat greek food. As we are from Cyprus we found that the food is cooked with pretty much the same way as Greece/Cyprus. Nice and tasty. Price is good for take away (fast food)restaurant. Good choice in the menu. The place is small but is a really warm envriroment. The staff was polite and service was perfect.

very popular Mediterranean style take away, mainly in the Greek style, some limited seating, we called in for lunch and the place was buzzing all of the time, food was well priced and tasty

Little place just next to New Street station where the tram pulls up. A Greek takeaway would be the best way to describe it. There are only about 10 seats there and the food is served in takeaway containers. This food is fantastic! Was better then any Greek food I had on holiday. I picked the chicken souvlaki which came on a flatbread with lettuce, tomato, sliced fried potatoes the chicken and a sauce. It was very filling and very tasty. Lots of options for vegetarians. There is also a deli next door selling imported foods. Highly recommended, the desserts looked great as well! £4.90 23/11/16.

Have walked past many times and never considered visiting but as times are hard this month we looked on TA for a cheap eat in the city centre and 40 23 came up. My souvlaki was huge, and succulent, and the hand cut chips were delicious. My wife had a spinach pie which she also adored. With drinks this came to £7. Amazing. And the staff seem so happy and the customers also. Definitely worth popping in, it seems they also do delivery.

A small but really friendly greek fast food restaurant. The grilled food is really fresh and yummy, but they also offer traditional dishes that taste great. Many opportunities for vegetarians as well.

If you are in Birmingham you should try this greek restaurant. The food is very decent (souvlaki and greek grills most of it), the service is very friendly and hygiene you don't find in most english restaurants.Ask for day's special and greek pastries.If it had a license for wine/beer it would be excellent :)

Love this place. Always go go for the mixed platter. My only negative is that it is very small in there so you cant always get served quickly and you have to queue around people eating which is rather awkward, but apart from that, the food is amazing

Discovered this tiny little place after it was recommended in the waitrose magazine. The food is simply amazing, authentic and so so well priced. No twee decor (thank god) or even toilets! But who cares! the food is sensationally sublime... Can't wait to go back!

I've been to 4023Food before and the food was really good but I must say today's visit was excellent. I was lunching with a friend and we both chose the same dish that being "Chicken Souvalki". The food was fantastic and just what we both needed.We followed it up with a dessert we shared called Karydopita and this just rounded off a great lunch.I would really recommend a visit and as it is just up from New Street tram stop it's in an ideal location.Thank you

Visited because of a good review in 'The Guardian'. Once inside this very small café you see how dirty it is! We decided to go for a vegetarian option, but nothing we asked for was available (explanation was it is Sunday and they had run out of stuff - easy solution - buy some more!!). After much confusion we got our food. Mass produced salad, a few grilled veg and some very, very thin Halloumi cheese smothered in yoghurt. The 'platter' option we chose was just an open polystyrene box!

I thought the chicken was very tasty and tender but there were only a few pieces. They give you a rather full plate it they fill 75% of it with bread and potato, 12% salad and 3% chicken. So to me, it wasn't worth it.

Perfect casual dinner. Superb, quick, easy meal and happy service. Particularly enjoyed the pitta flat bread. Definitely will be going back.

Delicious freshly cooked food, only a small place with a few tables and some bar stools. The food only comes on paper plates and plastic knives and forks, I think they mostly cater for take away but it's well worth a visit if you enjoy Greek food and good value for money for an extra £1.50 you can get a side order and a drink with you meal. When you leave Grand central station in Stephenson Street Birmingham just turn left its a 100 metre up the road were the Trams park, my wife and i are looking forward to our next visit. :)

Great find next to station. Tasty greek kebabs and salads. We ate-in and the interior could do with a spruce up but food more than makes up for it. Great location to eat ahead a Town Hall gig.

We were served by several very welcoming and friendly young Greek men.The food was delicious and the portions very generous and reasonably priced.Very tender cheese stuffed meatballs and grilled vegetables,served with salad and pitta.Will certainly go again and would definitely recommend for eat in or take away.

We were there for the first time, menu is appealing with options for vegetarians and meat lovers, include main dishes, few sides and deserts. We ordered grilled Diced Chicken and grilled Lamb and Beef Kebab. Foods was prepared in 5-10 minutes and both tasted fantastic, very fresh and full of different flavors. A nice mixture of fried pita bread and hand cut chips plus yogurt sauce make the foods more delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy, and 40 23’s people are really nice and helpful. Honestly it was the best food I had in Birmingham, especially when you consider the price. Strongly recommended.

As I never been to Greece not sure if the food is genuinely Greek , but everything I had was good. The place itself is tinny, more like a takeaway place, still some seats to enjoy your order. The portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. We are definately going back, as we want to try other dishes.

40 23 is my favorite place to go to for lunch when I'm in Birmingham, the food is tasty and fresh and the chips are incredible. The staff are great and are always happy to talk about the food that is on offer! Great value for money, I'm already thinking about my next visit!

Great food - I had their regular meat kebab - busy Saturday lunchtime with flow of people. I sat next to food prep counter which was busy but quite comfortable. Their wifi is quick and they're happy to give access code. All good - would eat again.

Ordered takeaway from here twice and it has blown my mind every time! Me and my boyfriend ordered from the grill menu, which came with fried potatoes and pitta bread as a side which were so delicious. But it was the meat that was so tasty! I am addicted to this place! Highly recommend!

Good place to have a quick dinner on a friday or saturday night. I recommend meatball stuffed with cheese and a slice of baklava to top it up. Great value.

Honestly, there is nowhere else in Birmingham I would eat lunch. I try and stop by whenever I'm in the city. Food is fantastic (and cheap), staff are always friendly and professional. And to go with your Baklava, Kataifi or Ravani, you can get fresh Greek coffee from the Greek Deli next door. What else can one ask for?

Went here on a Sunday afternoon as not hungry enough for a big restaurant meal.we were staying at the Burlington hotel and only spotted this place by accident on the day.the place is small a few tiny tables no frĺlls we were lucky to get a table.good was fab the wrap was gorgeous pork so fresh and potato in the wrap crispy.husband had meatballs in a wrap and said how nice they were for a few pounds fab .

This is a tiny cute little delicatessen, all you really need to taste some properly made greek delicacies at a very reasonable price and with some very pleasant hosts. Both guys, who are usually in front and run the place, are nice chaps and you can see that they are keen to provide you with the greatest service.

I'm in and around Birmingham City Centre quite often, and 40 23 is now my go-to place for a quick, tasty lunch with a cheeky smile. The food is excellent, fresh and tasty with enough variety to meet most tastes, and is all clearly home made. The boys who run the café are friendly, chatty and always offer a cheeky smile to accompany the food. Highly recommended!!!

So I've heard many great things on TripAdvisor and decided to pay these guys a visit on my lunch break.Inside was a small dining area with a couple of tables and stools with an open kitchen and billboards scribbled with the different choices on the menu.Customer Service scored well as I was greeted as well as being helped on my choice, as I'm not an experienced taster in greek dining. I was recommended the traditional Greek sausage, which sounded great as it's good to try something different. The grill menu comes in a wrap with a flat potato, lettuce, tomato and yoghurt, as well as your meat of choice. I must say it certainly didn't disappoint as it was quite a lot for £3, and that was the regular size too! (They do large, which is double the toppings) Overall, I'd recommend a strong 4/5 rating for this restaurant if you'd like some traditional greek food! Would visit again,

I was introduced to 40 23 by a colleague and have been back a few times for lunch. ---------------------------Getting lunch from here is great as I always get my food within 10/15 minutes even when it is busy. This has to be down to the efficiency of the staff. I have to say, they all work well together and the girl who serves always has a smile on her face!Service is fabulous. The first time I went I ordered the large portion as I didn't know how big/small the portions were and the waitress promised me the regular would be large enough - it was! Very glad that she did that otherwise the excess would have been wasted which I hate doing. Recommend the veg platter with halloumi. Delicious! --------------------------------The one 'downside' to 40 23 is that as it is a small place, you don't always feel comfortable eating in, as you are likely to have someone queuing right next to your elbow..I have always taken my food back to work with me to avoid this.

I have had nothing but wonderful service from this cafe! Everything is cooked fresh in front of you, they clearly have a passion for the food & they seem to be constantly visited by friends! I popped in with a friend a few weeks ago, looking for something for her to eat on the train to london. A large group leapt up to order as we made our decisions & the kind man behind the counter made ours first so that my friend could catch her train. We were both really touched & truly grateful!The thinly sliced chips are a lovely idea & i really like the bread they use for the wraps.I would also recommend the feta cheese pie :-)

Great place for authentic Greek food. Excellent value for money, the wraps are delicious and packed full of fillings! Very small place, great to sit in if there are any seats available, but it's always so busy and popular that we often just order to go. Have recommended to anyone living in or visiting Birmingham!

This is a nice little treat with authentic Greek food. You can see this by the many Greek people that stop by and stay or take away. The Moussaka and Kebab we had were amazing!Two things I would like to see improving in this place:It's pretty cold in there, I had to keep my jacket on while eating.It is also quite smoky. There is a huge extraction fan but that doesn't seem to work.I will definitely return and try all the other delicacies!Thanks guys!

I love this little Greek cafe, great for a quick bite. There are only a few tables but you can sit at the counter. The food is excellent, splendid kebabs and the meatballs stuffed with cheese are particularly good. You can get a scrumptious meal here for under a fiver!

The only con: tiny place, just 3 tables and a few bar stools. Everything else is flawless: cheap, excellent greek food cooked right in front of you. They recently expanded their food selection, wish they could expand the venue too.

Although I do not treat myself often enough, each time I step into 40 23, the enticing smells which waft from the open kitchen are a blissful announcement of things to come. Despite the small space, there is usually somewhere to sit and the food is well worth the 5-10 mins wait while it is prepared in front of your eyes. The portions are filling and good value for money with delicious ingredients, served by friendly staff.

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is incredible! Authentic Greek food at reasonable prices. I had a chicken wrap and it was so tasty and fresh. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends looking for something a bit different for lunch in Birmingham.

Visited here for a quick lunch not having tried much Mediterranean food before. Prices seemed very reasonable for warm food in the city centre. Food arrived very promptly and was easily one of the nicest things I have eaten.

Exactly as it says, 40 23 is a small take away shop/cafe offering traditional food from the north-eastern Mediterranean region and Greece; it is stunning. Located just a hop and a skip (not even a jump) from New Street Station, this place deserves all the success that comes its way.Yes, if you want to eat in, it’s only small with seating for about ten people but it’s worth every bit of the effort; the place oozes atmosphere and the staff are a delight. On my first visit, I queried whether I had been correctly charged for the food seemed so cheap. The girl replied that food can, indeed, be cheap and “need not be the price of gold”; she had given us a complimentary side tzatziki because she “wanted us to be happy” !!!The drinks range is limited to cold drinks but we were told it was no problem for us to fetch a tea or coffee from the Greek delicatessen located immediately next door.Exceptional and well worth a visit; full of flavour, full of charm, superb value with a smile and welcome from all who work there. If I worked nearby, I would be a lunchtime regular. Thank you, 40 23; we will be back.

Was recommended by the Guardian earlier in the year and didn't disappoint. It's mainly set up for takeout, and can only accommodate a handful of diners, but the food is fresh, authentic and superb. Service was exceptional. Asked for a side of tsatsiki and the girl refused to charge for it. If I worked in the centre of Birmingham it would be my go to lunch venue

We stopped off here for a quick bite before heading off to a concert. The food is good and I'd eat here again but it's a tiny space and I think you've got to be prepared to switch to using it as a takeaway at busy times. When working in London I've eaten at many similar places and I think competition down there keeps standards high and prices low. For the moment 4023 doesn't have a lot of competition.

Posto abbastanza piccolo, ma si mangia molto bene. Molto cordiale il personale e veloci nel preparare l'ordine. Abbastanza pulito anche se la mancanza di toilette mi sembra una cosa molto strana. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Con 5 Sterline riesci a mangiare abbondante compreso di bevanda. Consigliato per un pranzo veloce dato che posti a sedere sono solo una decina dentro il locale. Viva la Grecia e il cibo Mediterraneo.

Today was the first time I have visited 40 23 and I was not disappointed. From the moment we stepped in to the small but well organised place the atmosphere and smells we're fantastic.The staff behind the counter were very helpful and friendly and guided me in choosing what to eat.The food was very reasonable priced and of excellent quality and I would have no problem recommending 40 23 to other dinners.Thankyou for a great lunch I will be back...

The place was really well run, great customer care, staff are really friendly and down to earth to make sure you have a good dining experience. Food is unique and tasty, price is just right to get people coming back! Overall an a1 place in the heart of birmingham city centre. The only downside would be the quality of the meat could be a lot better, some bits were very rubbery and chewy. Apart from that a great independent business to stop into.

I visited 40 23 with my partner on a Saturday afternoon. The location is good as its situated not far from New Street Station. We ordered a lamb/beef wrap and chicken wrap, grilled mushrooms and chips. The food didnt take long to cook. It was very tasty when it came out and was handed over to us straight from the chef which was great. My one and only critisism which for me is a biggie... I have a thing about not wanted to smell of food and I left here smelling like it hence the 4 stars. Would I visit again? Yes most definately on the premise that I didnt have anywhere important to go straight after due to the clothes attracting the smell of the cooking. Overall a good experience.

Sono stato in questo piccolo locale ( ma solo per le dimensioni ...) dalle parti della stazione ferroviaria di New Street , ed ho mangiato una squisitissima cucina greca. Ottimo il personale presente nel locale, che cerca di accontentarti in tutto. Il cibo è veramente ottimo , ed i prezzi anche di più. Con 5 sterline mangi un piatto completo di carne, insalata, salse e del buonissimo pane. Unico problema è che potreste non trovare il posto a sedere, dato che ci sono solo tre piccoli tavolini ed un bancone . Comunque vala la pena di visitarlo.

Greek food is incredible and when it comes to these guys, they know how to do it right! Super cheap and super tasty, I highly recommend it to anyone in Birmingham.

The food was delicious, we had a platter with pork and a pastry. Both were really tasty and very good value for money. Staff are extremely helpful and kind.

Was really not impressed when i visited here with my colleague i visited on the basis of the reviews but very disappointed! the portions are tiny! I like greek food ,but the souvlaki i had was the most chewiest ,cheapest, tasteless ,pierce of pork i have had! It was awful! It was just coated in herbs,which you can buy from Asda! ,i probably could have made a better one myself!I would recommend going elsewhere ,better value for money and plenty of small cafes nearby.

Happy to wait for the tastiest food I've enjoyed in a while. Place packed, service still quick though. Big portions, excellent value for money.

Localizado bem próximo da New Street station, este restaurante serve comidas gregas típicas. Seus donos são dois irmãos gregos muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O restaurante é pequeno, mas com uma boa comida e um preço bem acessível. Minha esposa e eu jantamos uma noite no 4023.

One of my favourite places to go for lunch. When it first opened I must have had lunch here 6 times in 2 weeks. A fantastic array of food of which I always try the specials. Extremely well flavoured and seasoned with spices like oregano and cinnamon as you would expect from greek food. I like having a feta and spinach pasty snack while I wait which always taste fantastic. Would also recommend for vegetarians. One element that would add to this place is a charcoal grill. Keeping my fingers crossed this happens.

My Greek friend showed me this place and since then it's my favorite place to go if I want some Greek food. The quality of the food is amazing and it's a good value for money.Love the atmosphere, especially the people working there, who create the most of the atmosphere - so smiley, cheerful and friendly. I always feel welcomed.

Found this place after some rave reviews by others. It does not disappoint!!It just a great lunch venue. Superb food, great location next to the new train entrance at New St. And a cracking atmosphere. It's busy, and getting a table to eat will be difficult, but the food is just great, and very reasonable Brum doesn't have many places like this, so seek it out

Great little hidden gem in Birmingham, situated near New Street station. Very limited selection of food, however this is all cooked to a high standard & the staff are very helpful in making recommendations. Frequent specials of the day on offer. Great little joint to have a quick snack to take away. & they're independent! Would recommend to others!

Truly excellent food in the city centre. Well priced, friendly and independant. Their wraps are an excellent lunchtime treat. Highly recommended.

Came here for a quick lunch on a weekday and thought the food was absolutely amazing! Very cheap and cheerful with the food served on paper plates but the meat is cooked perfectly and the plate is piled high with delicious accompaniments. Definitely makes it acceptable to eat a kebab during the day. Want to come back and try more from the menu!

I discovered this cafe last year and I tend to visit them whenever I go to town. It's very busy lately so you may need to queue and wait for your order a bit.The food is very nice. Kind of like homemade Greek-Turkish food. Had chance to talk to the owner, apparently they bring their"key" ingredients from Greece, like spices and such I think. You should totally visit if you are around New Street and want to grab a quick tasty bite.
