26 West Bar & Grill in Belfast

There's no vegan options, only sides. No vegan burgers or anything like that. It's a side order for vegans. Or a side order in a bap lol But kudos for effort. Just would be easier to pop down to sainsbury and buy some frozen beyond burgers or other vegan burgers?

Firstly had to wait ages on our drinks. It wasn't busy at all but all the other tables around us were left with dirty plates and glasses when other diners left and remained throughout our stay. No BBQ sauce so no chicken wings or ribs so we ordered a mushroom starter. Disgusting! Slimy mushrooms on bread that was covered in some sort of sauce that should have been garlic but was drowned in balsamic vinegar. My husband ate it because he was paying but even the thought of those vinegary slimy mushrooms makes me feel a bit queasy. I had fish which could have been a bit crisper but had obviously been sitting a while. The chips were good. My husband had the tex mex burger and fries and said they were good. All in all it wasn't the best and the service was slow with the waitress busy sitting down talking to her friends and leaving the tables filthy. Won't be hurrying back.

Had been in today with my dad, place was rather quiet. We had ordered and at first got the wrong food was sent back for the error to be corrected, which shouldnt have really happe d given ut was very quiet, meanwhile our sides came out which were still froze in the middle. When my dad challenged the guy about this to which his reply was "wasn't me cooked it so don't know why you've a problem with me". Well seen as your the waiter and we physically cannot speak to the chefs direct it's front of house duty to deal with complaints. His approach to the complaint Was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Won't be back.

First of all I give any stars at all because the waiting staff were very friendly. However, this place isn't doing itself any favours by selling tiny bottles of coke used for mixers and refusing to sell their cans instead. Those little mixer bottles they sell don't even fill a full small glass and they cost £2.40 each! They have drinks dispensers there but claim they are turned off because of covid. All I ordered today was french toast and bacon which costs almost £7.00 and you only get two slices and 1 bacon! I ordered an extra two bacon hoping to fill my son up. He was hungry and he didn't even eat half of it. Anywhere else we go he finishes every bit. The bill was a whopping £13.95. The most expensive place to sell these items was only £9.00 altogether and you get more on the plate and better cooked, not to mention getting an actual full drink of coke when you order it. Unless you love crap food and insanely high prices then avoid this place like the plague. When you try to leave a review on their facebook page they no longer allow people to select stars and when asked "do you recommend?" even if you select DONT RECOMMEND, it automatically asks you "what do you recommend about this place" when finished the review it says that I recommend this place. They are deceitful as well as greedy and dishonest. That may explain why there's hardly anybody there. I'm guessing that on the fuller nights it's probably friends and family to try and make the place look popular lol.

Coming here is a good stop especially for good food. This restaurant is quite friendly and easily accessible. A down side to hear is that the toilets are a bit on the small side. Food was enjoyable reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

I've been here a few times mostly to get the cinema deal. The waitress with the red hair is so lovely and friendly but unfortunately the food lets this place down. I've ordered different meals from this place and it honestly is nothing special, tastes like something you could make yourself in the house.

Poor from start to finish; - Starting of the pints were flat basically beer flavoured water. - Burger came with cremated cheese and bacon asked for it to be sent back and the only good thing that came from the experience was the red head lady being extremely apologetic and having it rectified immediately. - Club sandwich was asked not to have mayo and for cesear sauce instead, sure what did it come with mayo lol - The fry was just rank; overcooked eggs, dilapidated sausages & burnt chips - Waited about 15 mins with empty drinks before we had to call for new drinks Save your money and travel 2-5 mins from Kennedy Centre and you'll find x10 better places for cheaper, nicer - food & drinks.

Heard good reviews about the food here and wasent happy with mine to be honest. I ordered lasagna which seemed to taste frozen. The chips were the same also. Disappointed to be honest as I expected a nice lunch to enjoy but left hungry

Told to sit at the back by a grumpy waitress. Nearly empty. Sat for ages with grumpy and other staff looking at my table but not bothering to come to take our order. I left. No time for that crap. Went to Subway and had a nice salad made by a very pleasant young girl instead! It’s been the same before; don’t even know why I bothered to go back to 26 West this time. I won’t be back again.

Have eaten here a few times with family and to be honest it’s hit or miss with the food. Last time I ordered the lasagna and my daughter ordered the spaghetti both where disappointing. Also visited on St Patrick’s day and the food was good. I do feel it’s overpriced for what you get and not a great selection on the menu.

My husband and I took our daughters for a meal before the cinema. What a mistake this was, we ordered two burgers which came with a leaf of soggy lettuce, no salad just lettuce and a hand full of frozen chips. We ordered 4 drinks and to our surprise we were charged £3.50 for a “refillable” drink which we did not ask for or use. My daughters asked for a chicken burger but because it was a Sunday this was not possible as it was a set over priced menu on a Sunday so they got two chicken goujons in a bap. £52.00 for two burgers and two kids meals absolute disgrace. My husband paid and when he looked at the receipt afterwards he realised they charged £12.95 which was a set price for two courses. So we paid £12.95 for a poor quality beef burger. Avoid at all costs and settle for a Burger King or even a subway!!

this is a good place to go before the cinema to get the cinema meal deal. absolouetly amaxing place with amazing food

Fabulous meal and cocktails at this restaurant before Cinema visit-my sister and I loved the food We had chicken wraps one with salad and one with chips (so tasty ) Two crunchy cheese cakes one each (scrumptious ) Food quickly served hot drinks also quickly served Waiter great young guy so friendly Restaurant very clean Toilets spotless We will deff be back

Went with sister & parents on 20 January, we choose the cinema ticket deal. I had sirloin, ordered medium, was well done, chef had ‘rested’ it on my cold plate as a result blood on the plate seeping into the rest of the food. I asked for another plate to transfer my steak onto. Very cold tobacco onions on top, I didn’t eat them, too bland. Another meal came with a blue cheese sauce, this was not blue cheese, very very bland, like watered down mayo. So we called waiter over, he said he’ll be with us in a minute, proceeded to clean tables, the restaurant was fairly empty, there were only 4 tables occupied! After about 10 minutes he came back to us, we asked for another portion & explained why. Next portion tasted exactly the same. So we then ordered portion of mayo, I was curious as to why no blue cheese even though menu states it. The ‘mayo’ tasted exactly the same, either cheaply bought in or watered down?? Now perhaps the young male waiter hadn’t received proper customer service training, giving him the benefit of doubt, however, food overall was terrible, bland, just tasteless, not seasoned.

Big portions and good for your money also big range of food too! I come here alot for the chicken wings lol

Severe and violent food poisoning from Chicken here. Confirmed medically. Initially, I contacted them to give them a heads up and to find out how this happened. Mishandled completely. Completely ignored my messages whilst posting online. Rude and poor customer service especially when I had told them I was not going to take any action. I used to be a frequent customer but not anymore.

We got the family deal which consists of a family platter, 2 adult mains and 2 kid mains,kids ice creams and 4 tickets to the cinema for £40.00!! The portion sizes were good and the food was really nice!

Always enjoy breakfast here on a Thursday morning while doing my weekly shop decent food at a reasonable price

My sister and I took Mum here for a slightly early Mother’s Day treat. This is a bit of a mixed review and I will explain a little further along why I didn’t give it all 5 stars.

Myself and partner came here on a Sunday the food was so bad I sent it back.chips are frozen but we're like defrosted all day then fried they where the most bad tasted chips I had ever tasted. Bad presentation as well

26 West es un encantador restaurante en el centro comercial de belfast de Kennedy. Es un espacio abierto que permite la cena para ver las idas y venidas de los compradores compañeros mientras disfruta de una deliciosa comida de un extenso menú. El servicio es excelente y el personal era cálido y amable que se agrega a un cómodo y acogedor ambiente. Llamé y almorcé con un colega y no me decepcionó. Miembro del personal sirve era muy servicial y conocedor de la comida y era cómoda para recomendar varios platos para ambos.

Esta es la cuarta vez que visitamos. Sí, es un poco ruidoso debido a su ubicación y a veces un montón de niños, pero si quieres una buena comida, entonces aquí es el lugar para ir de compras, especialmente después de varios supermercados en la planta baja. El servicio es bueno, ya que la comida es fresca y sí, puede que tenga que esperar, pero está caliente y recién hecho

Been a few times and each time it's got steadily worse. Burgers are ok but the wraps are grim. Much nicer places to eat in the Andytown area so we don't plan to go back.

Este lugar les ha ido mal. Pedimos hamburguesas y patatas fritas para 2 personas y la comida era horrible. Hamburguesa de carne estaba seco, insípido y centro era rosa! ! ! ! Este es totalmente insatisfactorio. Ambas porciones de delgado y macizos y patatas fritas eran medio hecho incomible. Obviamente congeladas y que no podríamos comer. 16 libras la pena a la basura, no volveré. El único aspecto positivo era el rápido, camarera agradable! ! ! !

I would like to congratulate 26 west on the suberb service and food provided to us as we attended a communion celebration yesterday. The staff were extremely attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the pasta with chicken and chorizo and considering the amount of food chef had to cook at one time for 30 people, it was served to me hot and tasted really nice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we were absolutely delighted when they came out with prosecco for everyone and the kids got cake and ice cream which was a really nice touch and I would like to thank the manager for that. This was the first time I visited 26 west and i was very impressed with the quality of food and excellent service. I will definitely visit again and I would recommend 26 west to anyone thinking of holding a family celebration to come here, you will be looked after.

Called in today, staff friendly, fast service, however the burger meal on the menu said served with lettuce, tomato and onion. I got a roll with lettuce and cheese that they had a cheek to charge for, very dry. Chips were barely cooked and could easily tell they were frozen. Very disappointed, won't be back and would strongly advise to go elsewhere, I could finish my meal and left hungry.

We went here for Sunday dinner last week! Our meals where very tasty and service was great. Local restaurant so will definitely be back again

Called in for lunch with my wife staff were friendly and helpful service was slow food was average we had visited on a previous occasion food was ok so we said we'd give it the benefit of the doubt and go back but not much of a change will visit another time and see if it has changed

Used to really enjoy going here but the service has gone so far downhill. Visited on a Saturday afternoon 2 weeks ago, service was slow but food was still pretty good so we said we'd give it the benefit of the doubt and go back. Visited again last night and it's safe to say we won't be back.We waited HALF AN HOUR for 2 drinks...we should have left and gone elsewhere but we had tickets to the cinema and didn't fancy a burger king (which in hindsight would have been a better option) Not even that complicated the drinks, a glass of wine and a a daiquiri (which they use a mix for). We asked 1 of the waitresses to check on them and she said ok, walked away to the bar and 2 seconds later was seating another couple while ignoring us. 40 minutes after ordering our starter arrived, it was fine, that's all I can say about it as it was just chicken wings not exactly complicated.Our main meals arrived when we had been there for an hour, neither of us could enjoy it because we had to rush, we had been sitting for so long that we were going to be late for the cinema. There are so many great food places in West Belfast that have deals during the week (Temple, Wolf & Whistle, Felons etc.) So luckily we have lots of options as we will never eat in 26 West again. Such a shame because it used to be great.

I was looking for a quick cheap bite to eat for lunch, their set menu was the cheapest at £6.99 . I got 200ml Coke £1.80, and a small bottle of water for £2.00, so in total £17.00, maybe I'm a cheap skate you can decide.

Staff are lovely and the food is good, but there is little to no food on offer for those trying to eat health (avoiding greasy food). I have mentioned this on several occasions to the staff but obviously no-one is listening.

This restaurant is a place I would bring my friends.The food is brilliant and the staff are great. As for price it's spot on.I can't wait to go back there.

Kinda disappointed. My partner, child and myself went here for dinner. We order drinks and was charged for 4 or more when we had 2 soft drinks and a diluted. We ordered a shared starter of salt and chilli chicken wings and onion rings, the salt and chilli wings where more like rosemary and garlic wings, the wings where cooked ok but what savage only puts 5 wings for 2 people. We had burgers for our mains one cheese and bacon beef and one cluck cluck, the beef was fine. The cluck cluck was greasy and made the bottom of the bun a bit soggy. The only good thing is that they have got rid of the flour covered baps that seems to be sold everywhere in Belfast. Kids meal was fine

Paid £10 for a basic bog standard frankfurt hotdog. It had onions and mustard. It wasn't even cooked properly. Service was terrible an waited 40 mins. Never ever again wil I set foot in this place. Didn't complain cus staff wer to busy doing nothing. Left feeling absolutely disgusted. Why is it people in west belfast keep going to these crappy so called restaurants. Demand better, we r worth it.

Myself and husband went for lunch today and we were both very disapointed my coke came and there was a funny taste to it the waitress snatched it from the table when my lasange came it was cold in the middle and his hotdod was tough and i cost a 25 pnd place is a joke!

heard lot about 26 west, and thought would give it a try, it was the first time, but believe me, its the last. Found the food greasey and the ulster fry I had was luke warm. It was a tad busy when we visited, so maybe we touched unlucky, but the experience is not one I wish to repeat. The staff are very friendly, and the service was excellent, but tbh the food is what let our visit down.

Visited 26 west and it was truly awful! First starter came out then waited another 15 mins for second starter of bruschetta which was just garlic bread with cheese and a few tomatoes threw over the top. Then waited a further 30 mins for chicken strips and chips. Chicken was obviously bought in frozen had better from Iceland! Everything has some sort of herb or paprika all over it which is overpowering and disgusting it's all I could taste. Staff seem nice enough very friendly but didn't check on us I had to approach the bar to pay as I had enough of waiting around. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Visited for lunch with a friend. Place wasn't busy but still took a lot of time to gets menus etc. When food came they had got my friends order wrong. When she pointed this out the waitress started a huff and brought it back to the kitchen. She then returned with the same (incorrect meal) and said it was what my friend had ordered! I actually could not believe this! My friend explained she had definitely not ordered that meal as she doesn't even like that! Eventually it was changed for the correct meal without an apology or anything. Very unprofessional and embarrassing to say the least. My meal was just ok, although the to be honest it was overpriced for the quality of chicken. Would not return or recommend.

Great value food and a cinema ticket too. The food is great quality and the service is excellent add to that you can have a meal and a cinema ticket for £10 it's a no brainer.

Nipped in here on a B/H as we had little time to go elsewhere due to going to the cinema. Ribs were nice, mushrooms were nice but that's where it ends. Fish and chips were tasteless (according to the wife) but I was hungry so went for a 12oz steak. Now for info they do two steaks - one 8oz and one 12oz. The 12oz stead is £19. However when it arrived it was obvious they had no 12oz steaks so they cut a 8oz steak in half and put it on the plate with another 8oz steak. Never seen that before. Steaks were small and thin (looked more like a pork chop) - no way did I have a 12oz steak. Considering the price this was very poor, shoddy service. No complaints about the waitresses - but given I've paid roughly the same for a quality steak elsewhere I can only give this place 2 stars. Doubt I'll be back.

Frys in 26 west are outstanding. However all other aspects of there food is very poor. I received southern fried chicken strips. Tasted frozen and as if they were from Iceland. They were not home made they were pre-made. The gravy was lumpy. Felons it is from now on.

This place is great! The food is fantastic & the staff are lovely.They have a cinema meal deal where you get a cinema ticket inclu. in the price & it is amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone

While out shopping decided to go in here for brunch staff very pleasant food was lovely a bit pricey but nice maybe go back again

On a recent visit to the kennedy centre we had a meal here,I had the ribs with chips and my wife had the curry along with a glass off wine and a coke.The ribs were nice but didnt fancy the chips and the curry was just ok.When we asked for the bill we noticed they had charged us for a bottle of wine,thought it was overpriced for what we got

I have ate here twice before, both times I've come away thinking why did i bother. The food is nice but the service is horrendous. Tried to have lunch there last Saturday and waited at the door to be seated for a good ten minutes without even being acknowledged by the 3 staff members behind the bar. Why is the service so bad? I know sometimes places have an off day so I think 3 attempts at giving this restaurant a fair chance was enough. Wont be back, for definite this time.

I fancied going somewhere different with my friends to celebrate my birthday, was told that it was a lovely place to eat so I took the recommendation... Arrived was seated to a table and given the menus. The waiter then asked what drinks we would like, i'm an avid cocktail drinker and due to it being named '26 West BAR and grill' I thought they would have a cocktail menu, when asking for it his response was "Urgh (huff), I hate making them' and proceeded to carry out the drinks order without getting the menu. We were one of 3 tables full in the restaurant so could understand if it was busy. Food arrived and was lovely, service was slow even though the restaurant was practically empty. Due to it closing at 10 at 9:15 we already felt like the service was hostile, they did not ask if we wanted any more drinks, I asked for the cocktail menu as that was the whole reason I came to a 'BAR and grill'. We did not ask for the bill and it was just placed on the table without asking anything we organised payments between us and gave her the money, my friend was due £9.00 change but the waitress only came back with £7.00 after adding up our meals again and paid we could not understand why we had been short changed as our payments were correct and the amount of money we gave would have amounted to £9.00. The company I went with made the meal for me and will not be returning. Do not advise going.

Came to 26west seeing they won best fry award...they musta bought that award fry was not up to standard the fried egg wasnt cooked that was after waiting near an hour and 20mins for someone to take our order waitresses need to up there game and stop slacking...wont be back again

Been here quite a few times in the past but last few times the food has been lacking tbh I used to love this spot cause the staff are so friendly and helpful and the menu is great value for money but the last few months have seen a decline in the food served I'm disappointed to say as it's a great place

I've enjoyed this place each time I have visited as the food is really nice and reasonably priced. This place also does cinema deals for the nearby Cineplex which means you can go here for a meal and then head on to watch a movie afterwards for a pretty good price. It is a little outside the City Centre so might not be convenient for all occasions but it's just a taxi ride away from there!

After visiting for breakfast once before, the food was lovely so we decided to give it another go. My boyfriend had ordered the full breakfast, I decided to order a 'panini' which was a baguette which was not even cooked. I had asked for Cajun chicken, onions and jalapeños, Upon opening the 'panini' there was once slice of chicken in each half of baguette, 2 slices of onion and one jalapeños in each half. The chips were disgusting, as if the chefs had put to much on for last order and then decided to recook them. Horrible! I did not touch my meal at all, and we were not checked on once. After sitting for nearly 15 minutes after my boyfriend finished his breakfast, he had enough and actually went to the bar were he asked the waitress to come over to the table. The waitress was cheeky and rude and not very understanding, in fact she was that cheeky I turned to look at my boyfriend and actually laughed in her face. With being a manager of a restaurant I can honestly say this is the worst meal and SERVICE I have ever experienced in all the years of working in hospitality industry.

We went to 26 west 12.30 last Thursday. As a family of 5 adults and two children aged 10 months ,1yr.10 months, we were seated by waitress who didn't want to listen as I said table for 5 and 2 high chairs, she said that's 7 put 4 tables together that was for 8 and 1 high chair ordered are meals in which 1 was a child's meal and Santa visit to grotto for the 1 yr 10 month .. As the 10 month can't eat normal food will not run through all the food we got me and my wife got garlic mushrooms for starters raw inside obviously cold me and my son got Christmas dinner the smash or mash we had was powdery turkey and ham tasted like it came out of a package ..my wife got burger raw inside my daughter got skinny chick wrap it was 98 percent vegetable . We were their for 3 course but decided against it as desserts weren't ordered yet went to pay and asked can we bring the 10 month old to see Santa and pay extra for her to see him the reply was £7.95 it's a package she doesn't eat and only wanted a present reply was its £7.95 my son came out saying his daughter 1yr 10 month wouldn't go into Santa and I said we will bring the 10 month in to see Santa the cashier snapped the token out of my wife's hand and said the 10 month couldn't go in as the my son had went in and got her present 3 lollies. I emailed 26 west last Thursday got no reply asking what was the price for the children and explained their ages requiring price because no company could be that nasty got no reply so after contacting them today on their contact page for pricing before I reviewed them got no reply...5* for the young girl who smiled talked to children and when 10 month old dropped to lifted it for her thank you for your service

Been there a few times for mid morning breakfast...went today for dinner and cinema and what a fantastic deal! A main and cinema ticket for a tenner each! The food was gorgeous and such a big portion! Staff helpful and friendly as always....Well worth a visit! Well done!

Have been to 26 West on numerous occassions and have always had a good meal, we have had breakfast, lunch and dinner and I cannot complain about any of it. The staff are always friendly and pleasant.

If you want to enjoy a good night out food wise then stay well clear.The food is terrible.my wife ordered the battered cod which came out more batter than cod and any fish that was in it was more like slime than fish.I had the chicken burger which I could not eat as it was covered in mixed herbs so much that I couldn't taste anything else.The only saving grace was the waitress who was lovely and understanding.

Been here with my Partner, kids and in-laws so many times to name and not once have I ever had a bad experience, actually there that often they know what we order before we do lol staff are so friendly, helpful and food isn't over priced. Three different cinema deals and tried all three and can't complain in the slightest :)

Affamatissimo dopo viaggio da Dublino (e con una gran voglia di carne) mi sono fiondato su questo steak house x pranzo e (anche se apparentemente non era pieno) ho aspettato - in piedi - circa 20 minuti all'ingresso con mia moglie che era stanca.Pensavo che l'attesa fosse ripagata dalla carne , ma devo dire che l'ho finita solo perchè avevo una gran fame.Mia moglie (affamata) ha avanzato mezzo piatto. La carne secondo me era molto datata.

I ordered a vegetable curry, which wasn't nice at all, first of all it had whole cherry tomatoes in it, covered in them.Tomatoes do not compliment a curry which makes me think it couldn't be a proper chef in the kitchen.Secondly I pulled out what I thought to be a hair, it was curly and black, the waitress assured me it was from one of the vegetables (there was only peppers, onions and tomatoes in it, none of which are black.Thirdly and to top it all off there were little flies flying around and one actually landed in the food.I didn't touch the meal, the plate was as full as when they served it to me and when they asked was it okay I told them what had happened and when I asked for the bill they hadn't removed it. I've been here a few times and did have a bad experience on my last visit but thought I'd I've it another go, won't be back now. That meal should've been taken off the bill or offered a replacement.

Went on a Saturday evening with my family and left totally disgusted. Upon arrival the alarm bells should have started ringing the place was empty and yet the waitress asked us if we'd booked obviously getting a table was no problem. The menu has to be the most complex menu I've ever seen, it was like a book with so many different deals for times and days again very off putting. My husband and I ordered New York steak sandwiches with mushrooms and onions. We were served thee most pathetic miserable thing basically miserly portions of steak in a burger bap the look on my husbands face was pure disgust, the side described as house fries was mcdonalds style frozen french fries actually you'd get a tastier more satisfying meal at mcdonalds and save a lot of money. My daughter had the kids meal lasagne and proclaimed it to be rotten and lasagne is her favourite dish, naturally she barely touched it and despite hearing the server asking another table if everything was okay we were not asked once. The cooks (if you could call them that) seemed to be having a disco in the kitchen because each time the door opened the music could be heard blaring. Our bill was just shy of forty pounds as family we eat out frequently and I can honestly say that 26 west is extremely bad, overpriced and poor quality so save your money and eat in the food court its gormet in comparison.

Do not order fajitas you could make better at home! Order the burger they are great, refill cokes are brilliant idea and not to fussed on the mojitos taste like they are out of a carton, the only saving grace would be the most extremely nice polite waiter I have ever encountered in my life

Disappointing food ,does the chef not believe in seasoning!!! Went in for a quick lunch and it cost £50 NO WAY!!

Been here so many times I lost count haha the food is always great and the service is spot on! I really don't understand how so many people had such bad experiences here, I would highly recommend it! However, I feel like everywhere should be tried regardless of any review they've heard from the place, to experience it themselves! Everyone is different! I personally love it and hope everyone has the same experience from this wonderful bar and grill as I have time and time again :)

This was my first time having lunch in 26West. It will also be the last. The chips served with the very average over cooked chicken burger were a soggy version of McDonald's fries. For the high prices being charged you would at least hope for real potatoes. The hot sauce was hot but tasted awful. The only saving grace were the friendly and helpful staff. Do yourself a favour and go to burger king.

Went to 26 west on saint patricks day for breakfast, however breakfast was cancelled because it wa so busy therefor has to order another menu. We asked for regular orange drink which came on time. We then waited for nearly an hour for our food to be brought to us. My friend ordered a cheese and ham toastie with chips and i ordered chicken with mash and a smokey bacon and leek sauce. The toastie was white - certainly not toasted and my chicken had been cooked for so long it was hard to even slice it. When paying our bill we were charged for the bottomless drinks, which we didnt have. The place is very noisey and not a good experience and i will definately never go back.

Suprisingly good, to be honest i was not expecting much but the food was very good and the staff provided a good service and were brilliant with my 3 year old. Would definately go back again if i was having a trip to the cinema.

Went with friends for a hangover cure. Nachos to start where lovely. Then 3 of us had the half roast of chicken and i asked could i have thick chips with garlic which where lovely & the others got garlic saute's. Great presentation & tasted lovely. Great service and good value for money & a range to choose from. Ill be back..

This is my second time here and what can I say perfect we where here round the Christmas holidays the service food atmosphere second to none we had the cinema deal great value for money and the waitress told us about the cocktails deal I was going to be good but we had to have them 2 for 1 this is definitely our favourite place excellent service delicious food and the most amazing cocktails

I had the surf and turf and "sauté" garlic potatoes. Presentation was nice but the flavour of the food itself was lacking of seasoning especially the prawns. Didn't taste like there was any hint of salt in it. "Sauté" garlic potatoes were more on deep fried potatoes no garlic taste just the taste of normal deep fried chips.

This was first time my husband and I had eaten in this restaurant and we were glad we popped in for lunch around 12:15. It was pre Christmas so quite busy. We were warmly greeted at entrance and quickly seated. We opted for the Christmas dinner and our order was taken quickly. Food served at a reasonable waiting time and nice and hot. Very tasty fare. I opted for dessert also, which was lovely. I have to say that all the waiting staff we came in contact with were friendly and very attentive - 3 staff checked on us throughout our meal to check if everything was to our liking.Also free soft drink top-ups. Extensive menu available plus specials. Nice atmosphere to dine in also. We will definitely be back to 26 West, even with the kids! Would recommend.

went in a few weeks ago for a brunch and have to say i was very impressed with the service especially as it was a very busy morning/ afternoon. since then i have been back a few times and will defiantly be back in the future. for the price of the food we certainly got our moneys worth

We have had several breakfasts, lunches and dinners in this restaurants and it has always been a very enjoyable experience. Staff are friendly, cooperative and very pleasant. Service is excellent and meals always served punctual. Definitely would recommend the slow roast beef on the Sunday lunch and offcourse the Maltersers cheesecake.

First time in 26 west with my husband and grandchildren definitely be back my husband had the house burger I thought he would never finish but he did said it was the best burger he's had I had the lunch deal with the chicken wrap with the hot dipping sauce god it's hot very nice and the children had kids meals quality for money drinks and ice cream it was the waitresses couldn't do enough for you even got colouring in books for them we will definitely be back with the rest of are family for good food and great service

Been in 3 times this week and honestly, the service, food and atmosphere are second to none. Recommend to all of you want a great meal for a great price whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner.

always went to 26 west for a meal and got home deliveries but after yesterday wont be back waited 40 minutes and still no one came to take our order i approached a member of staff only to be told she wasnt taking orders and someone would be over to take our order waited another 10 minutes and left certainly wont be back sharon dunlop

Visited on 29th December 2014, and can say it will be my last visit. The food was just awful! We waited 40 minutes on our meal, which wasn't too bad, it is Christmas after all and most places are busy. But the wait was definitely not worth it. I ordered Lasagne - which was hard around the edges and completely dried up inside and very tiny. The meal was cool - not hot as I expect my meal to be and the side salad was minus tomatoes! My husband ordered fish and chips and the fish looked like a pre-packed frozen one out of iceland! I couldn't eat mine, and called the waitress to take it back, at £8.50 I wasn't willing to spend that on this meal. Needless to say, I did not order anything else. Keep your money in your pocket and find somewhere else to eat!

Hugely disappointing. Had heard mixed reviews before I went but thought that we would give it a try anyway. Service was friendly enough but took almost 50mins for food to arrive. I ordered the skinny chicken and can't really describe how utterly horrible it was. The chicken was akin to chicken fingers/dippers with a very strange aftertaste. The coleslaw can only be described as a thick gloop which appeared to stick to everything on the plate and the Cajun Mayo tasted nothing like Cajun I've tasted before. That left a strange taste also. Other members of my party felt the same about their orders. I most definitely would NOT recommend!

Quite possibly the worst experience of customer service I had ever received. The communication from the female waiting staff at the time of my visit was absolutely horrendous. They didn't seem to be able to speak to people properly, unlike the young lad working at the time. He was world's apart, brilliant, very polite. I had to ask twice where my side order was. In the end I left without it as I had no food left. I tried desperately to get eye contact from passing staff to order more drinks. Failed miserably. Feel sorry for whoever owns the establishment. God knows how much more revenue could be gained if people weren't: cancelling side orders, doing without drinks they want, and leaving early without a desert. All in all, to me it was just 'The patio' with a lick of paint. This is my first review of any place. It's not because I'm hateful, its because I like to see any business succeed. Hopefully the restaurant sees this and does something about it for their own sake and for the people of west Belfast.

Came on 7th December with my friends for a bite to eat. When we got to the enter and the girl that was at the front blanked us for the first few minutes. She eventually seated us and immediately asked us did we want a drink. We were given menus and left for 25 mins!!!! There were 4 other tables that came in after us and they got served before us. The 4 members of staff that were about blanked us the whole time, they cleaned tables and stood talking and none of them approached us to take our order. After 25 mins I had to get up and ask the girl to take our order. Food was ok, but after waiting 45 mins to get served and to get our food it was a bit of a let down. Also the waitresses and waiters never checked up on us during our meal. Very disappointed and will not be back. I work in hospitality and I know the standards that there should be, I never complain but I was so annoyed with service!
