Had a Full English breakfast and coffee/drink with friend. Very reasonably priced and the waitress was very kind/welcoming. Prompt service. Thank you.

Lovely place with very friendly staff. We wanted the Louisiana Burger but unfortunately they had sold out the night before. Only slight criticism was the chicken bite starters came with the mains. The starter and the cheese burgers were tasty and cooked very well. Overall we had a really nice lunch, in a nice setting with very accommodating friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit and support a small business delivering great service.

Came in, saw it was fully booked so left… as we walked away a member of staff shouted that they’d clear a table… No smile, no opportunity to say thank you, just walked off. The food was below average, greasy & the drinks were over priced, the apple juice is absolutely tiny and you saw them poor it from a cheapo Aldi carton. Isn’t healthy as it’s advertised. Waited ages for food. We ordered a starter… it came with our meal in the end, not much of a starter. I say in the end because it came, it was the wrong order but I thought I’d eat it to save causing a scene… turns out they’d taken it to the wrong table… the kitchen was open plan with the seating, you could hear everything they had to say loudly. I kid you not, the staff spoke about me and my boyfriend in the OPEN kitchen like pieces of crap, saying I was stealing (because I’d eaten it), I’d be charged for it, I was stupid for not speaking up, amongst other things.. for something which wasn’t my error! I was absolutely fuming, belittling a customer when you know they can hear you. The food finally came and it was just below average, wouldn’t eat it again, we didn’t eat most of it. Poor quality produce from Aldi. We weren’t charged for the additional ‘starter’ in the end. There’s no atmosphere, I put that down to the fact you can’t have a conversation because the kitchen is open, you can hear their conversations in the kitchen too… their lovely comments about their paying customers. The staff are cold, rude and not welcoming. Shame when it’s in the heart of Barnoldswick.

Had a breakfast but I wasn't overly impressed as the food was basic and poor quality. The staff are not warm and friendly that is unless you know them! Wasnt even asked if I enjoyed my meal? No atmosphere either. What a shame!

Went into 23 The Grill, the other day and ordered a Halloumi Wrap, which was beautifully presented, I asked for it to be in a takeaway box as I didn't know if I was staying or going. The ladies did a good job and good customer service was provided.

I’ve been here a few times brunch, Food is always great - Especially the breakfasts! Always friendly service and never had to wait long. Would definitely recommend! Also the social distancing measures in place are great and the menu scanning is a great idea!

Went with my daughters for a bite to eat, the food was outstanding, would highly recommend!! BBQ chicken burger 👌 will definitely be going back

Not really a "good food" review as we didn't get to try it. What local cafe stops serving at just after 2pm on a weekday. We were after a late lunch after a medical appointment so decided to "stay local" but we walked in the door to a chorus of shouts from the back of the room that they weren't serving food any longer. Well their loss as I thought that was so rude to shout at potential customers and very strange for a cafe not to be serving food at such an early time, we hadn't even said we wanted food (although we did) I cannot understand why they would want to turn away potential customers like that, I will not be returning (we went out of town for our meal instead and put an end to our "shop local" idea's!!)

I can honestly say that I have just had the best breakfast we have had in years. The best sausages ever, spotlessly clean lovely staff too. Thanks and we will definitely be back

Really tasty food, they have quite a range to choose from. All made fresh to order. The hanging kebab is my favourite - pictured here with sweet potato fries and salad.

Got recommended this place from one of the shop owners in Barnoldswick so of we went to find it. Nice little place with welcoming staff. I ordered a standard beef burger in a bun but upgraded to sweet potato fries. I cannot describe how nice the burger was. Probably one of the best I have ever had. Plenty of sweet potato fries too. Would definitely recommend this place 5/5 👍

Visited with friends for a late lunch. We love going here for breakfast but it was our friends 1st visit. Good choice from toasted teacake to burger and chips. All delicious!!!

Friendly staff and decent food at a reasonable price. Soft drinks at a sensible mark - up. We had the Louisana burger, which was lovely. The skinny fries were nice and crisp and it was all freshly cooked. Would definitely go back.

23 the Grill is a relatively new addition to the culinary scene in West Craven, and is very rapidly gaining a reputation as one of THE places to eat. The food we've had has been excellent on each occasion we've visited, and at a reasonable price. Service is not the quickest we've ever experienced, but again it's what you would expect with freshly-cooked food. One of the bonus attractions is the absolutely divine range of products made by Robinson's Bakehouse, a local artisan bakery run by Aaron Robinson. So far we've been able to get a table without booking, but as the restaurant gains in popularity I can see giving them a ring may well become advisable in the future!

Just had the best bacon Brie and cranberry wrap. Fantastic food. Great smell from the coals burning cooking the food. A big variety of milkshakes the kids will love

Always helpful when changing items to create a low carb breakfast, will also do a 'naked' burger (no bun or chips) all freshly cooked

Really friendly service from everyone that worked there, we felt very welcomed. I also work at a cafe and I've become very particular and hard to fully please whenever I go out to eat which makes it hard to decide where to go ... but everything was perfect. Food was delicious. The coffee was made perfect ! Will definitely be coming back soon to try more things. * wouldn't mind seeing Maybe a couple more veggie options for people that tag along with meat eaters lol

We had a cracking breakfast in here the other day. Really tasty bacon and sausages off the grill. Highly recommended, and the cappuccino was excellent but get an extra shot if you like to taste your coffee.

Been to the grill on a few occasions now and I've enjoyed it every time! There's a good balance of healthy and not so healthy on the menu, staff are really friendly and the food and smoothies are great!

A great spot for a more healthy option of food but all delicious. Plenty of choice on the menu and daily specials. This has a nice atmosphere for eating in and there is the take away option available. Food is always really good and very reasonably priced. Well worth s visit.

I work in barnoldswick and drive by here most days, yesterday we finally tried to give it a go and it was fantastic! We both ordered the mega mixed grill at £12.95... the quality was amazing, cooked perfectly and the portions are generous! Great surrounds too and very friendly staff! We will be coming here on a regular basis! Highly highly recommend

Called in to this cafe to have coffees and more importantly a good look at the menu so we could return another day for lunch, upon ordering coffees was told they'd bring them over, in view of the fact that there no other customers but busy talking in the kitchen area instead of bringing our coffee order a 20mins wait was not good and decided not to return in future due to poor service we experienced.

Visited with my wife twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just before xmas we had the turkey wrap which was excellent. Good, tasty salad served with it and we ordered a side of their very good sweet potato wedges. Very good food, good service and nice atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. Can't think of anything negative, hence 5 rating.

Just a breakfast visit whilst staying with relatives in Barlick and was pleasantly surprised - the prices were less than we pay in our own home town, but the produce was local and very tasty, also the cappuccino was hot, yet still smooth. With friendly staff it was a trip worth making and we will be back

My partner and myself were out for a stroll around Barnoldswick enjoying the sunshine when we decided to drop in to the Grill for refreshments. This was my second visit but my partners first visit and she was very impressed. The service was friendly and efficient and the bacon butties and coffee we had was top notch and hit the spot. We will definitely going back again and I recommend anyone visiting Barnoldswick to drop in to The Grill.

Went to The Grill with work colleagues for lunch. We didn't have much time but we were served quickly even though they were busy. Food was excellent and good value, would definitely visit again.

Been here twice now. Had breakfast both times. Breakfast is lovely, unsure what toast tastes like because it never turns up! Other than that and average service, Very nice food.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Bancroft Mill. Lots of healthy options as well as good old egg and bacon. Had a chicken wrap and hubby had the chicken burger, The freshly grilled chicken made all the difference and the salad on the side was really tasty. Hubby really enjoyed his coffee, where I had a carrot blend smoothy which was good.Will happily go back there when in town again.Some interesting shops in town so may be a spot for Xmas pressie shopping.

I was very disappointed with my visit to 23 the grill for a number of reasons. Firstly being that I had been told previously that there was a wide variety of 'healthy' foods which is also widely raved about in these reviews, only to find that there was hardly any vegetarian options including 2 vegan options (one being a special) which were unavailable at the time..I ordered one of the vegan options to be told 15 minutes after I placed my order that it wasn't available.. Instead I asked for a side dish of sweet potato fries with salad. When it arrived it wasn't what I expected/ordered. the sweet potatoes were just cut into chunks and not fully cooked, and the whole meal was covered with salt making it really un edible and unacceptable. I originally ordered a humous & vegetable pitta bread, and found it weird that the meal came with a pot of humous because this isn't what I ordered and also it doesn't really go with sweet potato chunks and salad.. I don't really see how this menu can be classed as healthy when everything was fully coated in salt and most of the options were meat based? I am sad to say that I was very disappointed and will not be returning.

I visit barnoldswick at least once a week and usually have lunch in the square. This week with barlik beach being on and being busy (last week I sat outside and nobody came to serve me which annoyed me) I decided to have a walk round the corner and I am so glad I did what a find 23 the grill . The cafe was very busy which is always a good sign, I ordered a coffee , and a Piiri Piri chicken pitta both were of good quality, it's nice to be able to order healthy food and have a good choice , I am looking forward to my next visit to try something else of the menu. I'm having my second meal in 23 the grill Barnoldswick right now. Its a healthy food joint that makes health eating easy to do and at a great price, mainly because it's a bring your own bottle. So my wife brought a half bottle of white wine 1/2 £6 and I brought 2 ciders of my choice £2, we ordered 2 mains and 3 starters, all to share for £20, so the food and drink cost £25, and it was healthy!! how is that even possible?? You will not be disappointed here, also if you do indulge in a pudding, it's OK because the starter and main was calorie neutral (well nearly ). Give this place a try

We loved this place that much that we went back again the week after. We took our own drinks which we like to do and paid a small corkage charge. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly I would recommend this little friendly place to everyone.

we visited this café the morning after a music festival and had a full cooked breakfast which was fantastic we also had a lovely milkshake this was a brill hangover cure and the staff were all really attentive and cheerful we will definitely be visiting again the menu looks great.

Only had coffee on first visit but will definitely be going back to try the food as the menu looked good. Great shakes on offer too, staff very friendly.

Uncomfortable seating, very poor service and food not really edible. I suppose it might have been an off day as others have liked this cafe but it should never be so bad. The chicken stir fry contained very little chicken but lots of gluppy sticky sauce. It was just really heavy and unpleasant. We waited 15 minutes for some milk for our coffees and sat for over half an hour before the table was cleared. The servers have absolutely no idea about efficiency. I really can't say anything good about this place.

Excellent eating experience with great atmosphere and staff who care. Brought our own wine with a very reasonable cork charge of £2 which is much less than we have paid in the past at other venues. All in all very satisfied both for value for money and quality. We will be back very soon. Our Friday night after work treat!

I ordered the mixed grill after being lured in by the delicious smell when I walked past the shop and the confident sign that promised the best coffee you've ever tasted.The coffee was good and the main course delicious. An eclectic mix of Piri piri chicken, lamb chop, sausages, steamed broccoli and carrots, etc. My partner had something equally delicious but I forget since at the time my focus was entirely on my plate!Service is friendly and prompt, excellent value for money - I'll be back.

Ate here on Friday night, the staff were very welcoming, food was very tasty, reasonable prices, good value for money, and you can take your own wine, though a high corkage rate does apply.

We've eaten here a few times now and enjoyed the experience each time! This resultant is particularly good if you want to have healthier options to choose from. I love the smoothies and big salads. It's a great addition to the town!
