The restaurant felt very authentically Greek which I loved and the service was great. You could tell all the food was fresh and it all tasted lovely. My only recommendations would be cushions for the chairs as they are so hard! The toilet wasn’t particularly nice either. I would definitely go again for dinner, close to the city centre whilst staying away from the rowdy bars!

A dismal experience. Very average food combined with terrible service in a lacklustre environment. No warm welcome or buzzy atmosphere as the place was no more than 30% full. We waited almost an hour for our food - just sandwiches, salad and a burger- and after chasing, we asked the (disinterested and surly) manager and they told us that they couldn’t do anything about it as they only had one chef?! No apology. Goodness knows what would happen if the place were full! We had to ask for our cutlery, for water, for our table to be cleared. As two of our group had to get trains and it was so slow, when the food finally arrived we asked for theirs to be boxed up. That took another stressful 10 minutes. I remember the days when All Bar One was brilliant but that seems to be a thing of the past. Do not recommend. There are lots of fun, lively places with great service and great food in Leeds - go elsewhere.

We called in on a wet Sunday night after an early showing of a film at Cottage Road. The restaurant was very quiet with just a couple of tables occupied, one with a large group. There appeared to be only one waitress, but service was excellent - she was friendly, efficient and thorough and moved very fast - literally running up the stairs to the kitchen - and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good - we had meatballs and spicy kofte for starters. Both were tasty and came with a basket of pitta bread. For main courses we had beef stifado. This comes with rice and we also ordered a portion of spinach and onion as a side. The stifado was delicious - you could taste the spices used in the sauce which was rich and full of flavour. All the food came piping hot and portions were generous. A couple of complimentary squares of baklava finished the meal off perfectly. This is a great little local restaurant with lovely food and fantastic service and we will definitely go again.
