Acropolis Mediterranean Restaurant in Leeds

We called in on a wet Sunday night after an early showing of a film at Cottage Road. The restaurant was very quiet with just a couple of tables occupied, one with a large group. There appeared to be only one waitress, but service was excellent - she was friendly, efficient and thorough and moved very fast - literally running up the stairs to the kitchen - and nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good - we had meatballs and spicy kofte for starters. Both were tasty and came with a basket of pitta bread. For main courses we had beef stifado. This comes with rice and we also ordered a portion of spinach and onion as a side. The stifado was delicious - you could taste the spices used in the sauce which was rich and full of flavour. All the food came piping hot and portions were generous. A couple of complimentary squares of baklava finished the meal off perfectly. This is a great little local restaurant with lovely food and fantastic service and we will definitely go again.

We were a family of 10 adults and 2 children. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed what they had. Portions were very generous prices were very reasonable and the girl serving us was very helpful. Will no doubt return at some point

Small portions of bang average (at best) food. Had the chicken and pork gyros, both dry but the chicken was particularly bad. Probably the worst Greek / Mediterranean we’ve had delivered. Avoid

This has become our favourite restaurant in Headingley. Food is excellent. I have never had so much tasty seafood in a pasta dish. We have now tried most of the menu and have never been disappointed. Food is made to order so sit back and chill. Lovely friendly staff and very reasonable prices.
