Stopped for coffee, spotted the luxury hot chocolate on the board and changed our minds. Loaded with cream and marshmallows and sprinkles and sauce and a flake, we could not have asked for more. Delish, and quick service too. Thank you, ladies :)

Simply the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever experienced. The roast beef was incredible. Lovely staff and beautiful area. Top job to the Chef

My Wife and our family celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at the Ginger Fox last Saturday. We’ve been regular customers for many years and our friends there have always looked after us well, this time was no exception even though there were 15 of us! The food and service were great(as always) and we’d like to thank everyone for making it an evening to remember.

Went for lunch with friends. The food was lovely, fabulous beef followed by gorgeous bread and butter pudding. The staff were friendly and attentive without being pushy. We would definitely go again.

We were a hungry family of five visiting the area for the week, and The Red Lion Inn was a fantastic find. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and offered the choice of the restaurant or bar—we chose the bar, which had a cosy, friendly atmosphere. The menu has loads of great options, but I went for the slow-roasted Dorset pork belly with herby fried potatoes, smoked bacon, onion & chives, apple purée, pork jus, and green beans—absolutely delicious and served piping hot. The kids were happy too, which says a lot! We were looked after by the lovely and friendly Lilia, who not only provided brilliant service but also joined in with helping us guess the song and artist titles playing in the background—such a fun extra that made the evening even more memorable. Grandad loved the Fursty Ferret amber ale, perfect pints to enjoy alongside the great food and atmosphere. There’s plenty of parking, a lovely garden, and a small play area for children—perfect for families. A real gem in Sturminster Marshal.

Great experience at this extremely friendly village pub. Fresh pleasant decor. Landlady, Landlord & staff all very welcoming and will stop to chat. Varied menu of decently cooked food served by charming staff. Delicious home cooked pie with very tender steak filling. Tasty plaice with leeks and broccoli. Would recommend. Dog friendly.

We were travelling past, so stopped off for breakfast / brunch, and couldn't complaint about the "small" breakfast, great value, great quality, happy to go back and to recommend
